Airline was the only available airline during the Southwest cancellation. It was easy to book. Lowest available fair. Convenient airports. Everything was great. Problem was, they didn’t release what gate flight was departing. The woman at the ticket booth didn’t know which terminal they were boarding and wanted me to wait in 30+ minute line versus telling me to look for flight kiosk. Burbank gate was packed. Otherwise the flight was perfect!!
Barely room for the tray table to come down. Clearly a budget airline that overcharges for every additional service.
It was a smooth and short flight and the pilot got us to our destination early. Had it been a longer flight, a snack and drink would have been nice. But this flight was perfect. Thank you.

The stewards going to Tampa were amazing. A few of the ones coming back were cold and distant. The girl at the desk at boarding was actually rude.

Cons: "my flight was a short one from Burbank to Redmond, and everything was great. I sat alone both ways."
For this route Cleveland to Dallas … is very ok
Pros: "They held the plane for us due to the air tram malfunction at DFW!"
Pros: "I paid for a full seat and the person next to me was so overweight, I had the use of less than 2/3 of my seat. My rifgt shoulder, neck and back was very sore when I got off the plane from lack of any movement."
Cons: "Severely overweight people should not be forced onto another adult if they cannot fit in their own seat."

Cons: "Passengers were not wearing the mask appropriately and the AA crew didn’t do anything about it. The flight was so packed that was not space for social distancing. As a healthcare professional I just feel that AA is not really concerned with doing their part to avoid the spread of the virus and minimize the number of deaths from the actual pandemic. As a professional that has been in the frontline to combat this pandemic I don’t feel safe traveling in the AA flights anymore. I don’t feel that AA cares abouymy well-being and health to keep going where is need to fight this cause. I’m sorry I’m very disappointed and frustrated after this experience."

Cons: "American Airlines in Lima refused to accept my bags 50 minutes prior to departure (not my fault, due to a delayed flight) and caused me all sorts of headaches and problems. I almost had to sleep in a hotel over night. I missed my flight because AA were idiots."

Cons: "Since the ticket was bought with Iberia, I was not eligible to use My systemwide upgrade. The crew was generally less friendly. When I asked for cognac after dinner, they told me that they are out! The offering of snacks were bad. The breakfast is nothing but sugar! The dinner could do with less carbohydrates."
Cons: "I paid $70 for a seat upgrade, and it showed on my boarding pass as “EXIT” (exit aisle) with 6 inches of extra legroom when I purchased the upgrade in London. By the time I arrived in Dallas, the “EXIT” indicator on my boarding pass disappeared. When I boarded the plane there was no extra legroom and row 16 was not an exit row: rows 14 and 15 were. I endured a less comfortable trip, and now have to go through the pain and effort to get a refund. Good luck to me..."
Cons: "No one knew what was going on. We boarded late, then sat there for 40 minutes with no communication, then we had to de-plane. But they couldn't get the jet way to work, so it took forever."

Cons: "The flight attendant when first boarding was extremely rude. We had a bag we brought on three previous legs of our total travel which was considered by all of the other attendants as a personal item. This particular attendant very rudely informed us it was not, and we needed to check it. When we tried to explain the previous flights she responded with “I just explained this to the other passengers...it’s not allowed.” We didn’t argue, and gave the bag to the personnel in attendance, but the tone for the duration of the flight continued."
Pros: "Boarding staff helped me change to a seat that was suited better for my child and I- I was SO grateful. During the flight, flight staff made sure my child was happy/comfortable which meant a lot to me."
Cons: "The normal things- better cushioned seats with some lumbar for those of us with back/nerve issues; a little wider seat options in economy for heavier people or those with lap infants; Honestly I’m reaching because I was just really happy with my flight/plane/crew service."

Pros: "On time boarding. However we had about an hour departure delay due to de-ice of the plane due to ice storm which just started but I am not complaining about that. I would rather the plane was completely safe for departure."

Cons: "American switched pilots last minute, so all passengers sat waiting in our cramped seats for about 15 minutes while pilots got situated in the cockpit. Then it was discovered a preflight mechanical check hadn't been done. So we all sat for another HOUR waiting for the mechanics to arrive and do their work. The flight attendants were unpleasant and rude."

Cons: "Being held inside the plane for a total of 5:30 hours before taking off. Even if there were several concurring factors, it it necessary to find a better procedure in order to avoid keeping passangers inside a plane with the prospect of taking off in the next half hour repeated every half hour! For the ones of us traveling with children it is even worse, and becomes a real nightmare."
Cons: "We were not permitted to board the plane until later than expected, but were told we would still take off right away and regain lost time, no mention of a delay at last call or immediately after, despite the 20 minute delay by this point. After taxiing, the pilot informed us of withheld information, that ATC would delay our departure for ~40 minutes, but we could STILL try to make it up in the air. This was a bold faced lie. It was finally 9:52pm before we even took off from SFO. While idling, the cabin started to reek of jet fuel, and people started coughing and sneezing. Upon landing at LAX at 10:46pm, we were told that there was no gate for us, and that we would have to wait for an amount of time that kept changing every time there was an announcement. The toxic jet fumes started to permeate the cabin again, and people started coughing and sneezing in response. Ultimately it is 11:21pm by the time we reached our gate. At this point, the jetway was broken/failed to open, but despite this, the air conditioning was switched off and pax crowd the aisles without direction. Finally we managed to escape at 11:31pm."

Cons: "I was not a fan that the overhead compartment for my row was not available due to the life raft in there. I understand you have to have one on board, but I think it should be more at the emergency aisles. Also the size of the seats and the space you get is not really worth the price anymore. No matter how big or small someone is, its not comfortable. Airlines need to get back to how the seating was back in the day with great leg room and the seats are a bit wider than what it is now."
