Cons: "At take off water from the AC unit started Pouring my seat and my boyfriend’s seat (window and middle row 32 seats K and J). We sprung up to check to see if a water bottle from the overhead compartment was leaking. We were immediately yelled at by crew to sit down because it was take off. They didn’t see the water that was pouring down on us (from where they were seated) and other passengers were also trying to explain to crew members water was pouring down on us- luckily there was no one in the isle seat so we were able to shift one seat over. Otherwise we would have had to sit with water pouring down on us for 30 mon. The crew came over and said they could switch out the seat cushion. But that did nothing really because our clothes were totally soaked and it smelled bad from the water from the AC. Water also go on our electronics (headphones, iPad and phones) So it was a horrible 8 hour flight back to Los Angeles. Really sucks - I was a fan of Avianca - now I’m not impressed with how they maintain their planes or customer service for passengers who get soaked by their plane’s malfunction."

Pros: "I liked how accommodating the staff was with seating for my family, as I was traveling with two young children and we weren't seated together. There was more leg room than most other domestic air travel companies I have been on. There was no upgrade charge for every little thing, such as blankets, pillows, etc. We were fed on each flight, and alcoholic beverages were at no additional charge. The exit tax to leave Costa Rica was included in our ticket, which I was not aware of until I was leaving the country. (nice surprise). Over all, most other airline companies in the USA have made changes that improve their bottom line, but they have completely ruined any favorable aspect of traveling with their airline (American Airlines, Frontier, Southwest, Delta, etc). Copa has done a great job of providing great service and cost for travelers. Please do not change your business strategy by removing some of the above mentioned benefits I enjoyed in order to improve your profit margin. It is refreshing to know there are still air carriers out there that retain the service that is hoped for by most travelers. Also, Roxana and her entire flight crew were outstanding. Thank you , I will fly with you anytime I have the chance."

Cons: "I arrived 3 hours early to my flight, which I had been notified that morning of a 2hr delay. Fortunately the woman who checked me in realized there was 1 seat available on the last flight that would get me to Lima in time for my connection flight (departing same time as my flight pre-delay). She personally got me to the front of the line, and ran with me just about to the gate, where I caught a shuttle to the plane. If she hadn't done so, and if I hadn't checked in so early, I would have been forced to stay in Lima 24hrs, despite buying a rightful seat and having reservations in Buenos Aires. It is appalling and unacceptable that y'all continue to overbook flights, causing incredible trouble, inconvenience and potential harm to your customers. For a service that costs so much, the only acceptable delays are weather and mechanically related. if it hadn't been for amazing staff immediately, I would've been furiously waiting in a city I didn't need or want to be in. Customer service will continue to grow your business or impede it negatively-- how y'all act is up to you. I appreciate how well I was taken care of by several kind individuals."
Cons: "My original flight was supposed to land at 8:55pm but I was notified that it had been changed to land closer to midnight which was a problem because my hotel closed at midnight. After talking to the customer service agent at the airport he told me the reason my flight had changed was because my original airplane was flying out of another airport and the only way to make the flight that I had booked was to take a cab ride to the other airport. What he didn't explain was that its a 45+ minute drive between the two airports and I only had about 1.5 hours to get my bag, get on the taxi, check in at the other airport, clear security AND customs. Somehow by the grace of god it all came together but it was certainly a harrowing experience, not to mention the $45 I lost in cab fares. I cannot recommend LAN/LATAM."

I showed this to Latan representative Angel Pupulin in Miami who's first statement was, "Latan is not responsible." He was rude and initially refused to even fill out a damaged bag report. I explained that I would call my credit card company and put a non-authorization on $2500 worth of tickets. He continued to speak to me in Spanish although I told him, " No habla Espanol." He spoke English but was trying to jerk me around in every way possible. This is not going to be ignored! One employee screwed up all the positives of multiple flights with Latan. I will avoid flying Latan in the future and will not recommend Latan to others."

Got our luggage, got it retagged, and got us on another flight leaving almost immediately. We got to BA with no problems as did our luggage. Yay for your smart, resourceful, thoughtful and efficient ground crew in Iguazu. They deserve a special thanks."

I finally called again and was given 2 options: agree to a flight that would DESTROY my vacation or get a refund. Scared and exhausted, I told them I didn't understand, and the flight didn't work, and guess what, they re-booked me anyway, and said that since I was re-booked any change to my ticket would entitles them to my entire $1,100 fare. Aeromexico is a criminal enterprise. Never book with them! Kayak, you should cut all ties with this airline!"

I did not use this return flight as I was going to Europe for work. The flight coming to Montreal 7 days prior was flawless. There was a 50 min delay that was not unexpected. Nothing wrong on Kayak or Air Canada about this flight.

Air canada did not accept the responsibility to maintain my reservation and get me to my destination efficiently. Even when I spoke with a phone representative the person was rude and never sent confirmation of my flights so I had no reference point for flight numbers or air lines. All of his added up to more than 13 hours of delays on what was already a 24 hour trip. Worst travel experience of my life."

When I got to the plane after traveling all day and waiting extra hours there was an empty row right in front of me. I tried to lay down but the attendant made me move because I hadn't booked comfort plus even though the flight I booked I would have been in Denver hours ago. Things happen but it's all how you deal with it and air canada does not deal well."

I talked to her asking her to be gentle with us because we'd just flown for 7 hours and are suffering from time zone changes. Another yelled at my seatmate about his travel size after shave. She was a black Caribbean. She snapped at me about the importance of security and that he was rude for saying he didn't care that she'd throw his stuff away. I told her that he said he didn't care because he's tired and quite frankly, a trail sized aftershave that she doesn't approve actually doesn't matter and is nothing for her to get worked up about. Her colleagues were all staring at her as she started throwing her weight around and making unprofessional nonverbal noises. Then there the room where you weight for your name on the screen to appear if your number is 1 or 2. The people in there are extremely gruff. There was only one Hispanic woman who took my slip of paper that had my pic who said please and thank you. Then when you go to customs to get your passport signed, the guy at counter 10 starts arguing with me for no reason. I put 1 family member on the customs form. He asked if anyone is traveling with me. I said no. He clarified that one should mean an additional person and not just me traveling. I said it wasn't clear and I didn't know. But he decided to get argumentative with me about it until I said ok and walked away. Your TSA process is a nightmare. I did not experience that at Heathrow, Vienna, Or Tel Aviv (all places that have recently experienced terrorism). I didn't even experience it in my arrival town Denver. Toronto TSA is very very poor."
