Many people on the flight had to pay at the gate. Not cool Alaska."

AA needs to reduce the number of boarding groups, lengthen the lanes, and provide more of them. No other airline boards this way. That's because this boarding method is stupid. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

I would say that we will never fly American Airlines again nor will my family. This was not the only delay or cancellation because of American either. We spent 48 hours traveling because of delays and cancellations and still American would do nothing for us. I'm 66 and my husband is 72 (who also has had back surgery for five slipped discs) and we had to sleep on concrete floors and had very limited money to buy food. It was by far the worst experience of my life and I would encourage everyone to not travel with them."

Once I landed I only had 10 minutes to make it to my next flight in which I asked one of the flight attendants if I could move to the front of the aircraft to try and catch it and she did not allow me to do so and that they had to offload the plane “front to back.” I have seen multiple other airlines that allowed people trying to get to their next flight front-loaded off the aircraft. Once I found I missed my flight I was told that I would have to wait until midnight to fly to Orlando and then fly to my final destination (Nashville) at 6 am the next morning. I asked the attendant if they were able to provide a hotel or at the very least a meal but that wasn’t the case. I understand that things happen that delay flights but I would think this airline would be able to help their customers any way they can and that definitely was not the case! I will never fly Frontier ever again."

It’s totally ridiculous. And for the plane to be as janky and low rent as it is they should really take a second look at what they’re charging."

This timing put us on a schedule of soooo many planes departing the day after superbowl which led to 1.5 hours "traffic jam" on runway for departure. Seriously Las Vegas? Upgrade your airport. Then when we didn't get the water we asked for, my cousin pressed the attendant button and got a "smart look" from the attendant which visibly annoyed my cousin. The attendant responded by pressing hard on her shoulder telling her to calm down. It was a stressful situation."

Cons: "When you have to check in to get a lower baggage fee than if you check in at the ticket counter is totally unfair and a very poor business practice. If a friend hadn't told me that I needed to check in online, I would have preferred to check in at the counter. Not knowing what baggage prior to packing, I needed to change my carry-on to a checked bag. So I looked on the Internet for a customer service telephone number, which I found, but it's the wrong number.... Very frustrating!!!! At that point, I wished that I didn't book my flight with Frontier Airlines. Then I had to pay extra money to choose a seat, pay $2.00 for a drink . I definitely know that your customer service is bare bones, and the low price for a flight comes with annoying high price to pay. I will certainly think twice before flying with Frontier Airlines again."

Actual price: approx $155 Ticket = $55 Seat $14 (ranged from $0 for middle seat in back, to $35 for extra leg room in front) each way Luggage: $35 for first bag, $40 for second and carry-on (each way) Seats crammed in. Heard there was 2" less leg room since last modification Seats don't recline at all. No radio/TV ports in seats, because they had no TV monitors at all on the plane. Only snack food that was free was the water. Personally, I'd rather have the airline be upfront with all the things you have to pay for. Doubt I fly Frontier again."

Causing me to go to Frontier service desk where it took 30 mins to get my boarding pass with 3 or 4 people in line. Terrible service. Then was a $99 fee for the next flight the next day. I went with United. They took care of everything with excellent care. Never again frontier."
Cons: "They were unwilling to work with us on crediting us back for a flight we missed due to traffic. I will never use this airline again. They can keep the $93 that the refunded me out of $500 spent. Its ridiculous to have spent that much on a flight and there be no remorse for something you could not help. On top of that the charged me $99 to cancel. Frontier is the cheapest for a reason. BEWARE!"

My immediate concern was that I wasn't going to make my flight. I did, but it was so chaotic. I heard someone asking to speak with a supervisor. I felt the same way."

By the time we finally departed 5 hours later it was a normal cramped flight(I'm a smaller build person and have no clue how larger people can fly but I can't really ding just frontier for that). When we arrived we had to sit in a holding area waiting for a gate to open for nearly 3 hours. Waiting on the ground is not nearly as comfortable as the uncomfortable flight. When a gate finally opened up we hurried to baggage claim where we were shocked at the lack of service. I have never seen so many bags lying around everywhere. On our carousel there were 7 flights... 7. Hundreds of people were waiting on bags and not a single piece of communication from frontier. 2 hours later we found our bags arriving on a carousel on the other end of the baggage claim terminal just by walking around waiting. Absolutely worst flight experience ever. Friends don't let friends fly frontier."

The price for a drink of any kind, water, soft drink and so forth was way too high. Anything to eat was also out of line. If you are diabetic be for warned, bring your own. My flight from Nashville to Las Vegas was so bad, as far as hidden fees and customer service goes, I tried to book a on any other airline for the return trip to Nashville. This was even though I had a round trip ticket on Frontier. To my dismay all other airlines were full. I am writing this review as I wait at the gate for a departure time on my Frontier return trip, we are 2 hours late for departure with no new departure time given. There are not any Frontier employees in the gate area to give updates. This is the bottom of the barrel for airlines and I will not ever be flying Frontier Airlines again."

We noticed a rather larger line, so we were comfortable that because we had arrived so early that we would be just fine. Oh to the contrary, the line grew and with it everyone's mood changed. Half an hour passed and we could not find one clerk to explain why the line was not moving. This was the flight back from Nashville heading towards Chicago. In a huge rage, a woman traveling with what seemed to be her mother and two children finally hit a tipping point. She demanded to speak to a clerk and basically had to stalk their office until one came out. Apparently, in Nashville, the check in crew does not begin to check bags in until about an hour to forty-five minutes before your flight. I just couldn't get that through my head. If TSA, got forbid stops you, you're screwed. I will never fly with this airline again. You have to pay to even have a carry on with you, any kind of normal seat selection, seats are paper thin, and service was the worse. I get the cheap prices, but they're not that cheap in order to deal with all this mess"

The check-in process was difficult. The line was very long, and there weren't enough employees to process people efficiently. However, once we finally got to the counter, our agent was excellent. The plane was very clean and the flight good. It took more than 20 minutes at the gate to get the door open so we could exit the plane.
No option for not ordering any food, seat were a little in comfortable, over all flight was quick and on time, even on my flight out the plane was an hr late arriving but it hardly affected my fight at all B+
Boarding was quick and easy and flight crew was great.

I couldn't print out return boarding pass move than 24 hours in advance and didn't have time to look it over before finding out we were taken for 66.00 for the TSA check pass. I travel with various airlines and this was my 1st time traveling with spirit. This is by far my most uncomfortable plane ride with any airline. The cost for all beverages Is another concern. It is practically a potential health concern for a customer flying 2 hours or more to not have at least water provided for free. The credit card only for beverage payment also is a inconvenience for a small purchase that could easily be settle with cash. In closing, I feel this company is a prime example of producing poor service when the airline try to cut cost then capitalize on every single accommodation at the complete expense and inconvenience of the customers."

Pros: "This is the 4th time we've flown Spirit and our 4th great experience. All the flights we've taken have left on time and arrived on time. This flight actually arrived 15 minutes earlier than predicted. What I truly appreciated was the Pilot letting us know it was going to be bumpy and why, and what he was going to do to try and minimize the inconvenience. An added bonus, a genuinely funny stewardess explaining the safety features. It's one of the few times I actually listened to the instructions carefully. She was applauded at the end - well done! I fly Spirit to get safely from point A to B and I don't mind at all paying for the extras - that way I get what I want, not what someone else thinks I should have."

Cons: "The flight out was delayed four (count 'em) hours, and we were strung along all the way on the delay. At 5:15 am (yes!!) we were told we would board in 15 minutes. An identical announcement was made at 5:30. Then at 5:50, we were told there was a mechanical delay till 8:00. At 8:10, the boarding was announced for 8:30. We actually boarded at 9:00 am, and then sat on the tarmac for an hour. The plane left at 10 am. When I arrived back at Oakland Airport for my return flight that evening, I was told that it, too, was delayed almost four hours. After some cajoling and waiting, we were offered a refund of our fare, if we chose to find another way home. I wound up taking Jet Blue, which took off half an hour after my Spirit flight had been scheduled to leave, and luckily for me, was diverted from LGB to LAX, where my car was parked. I arrived back in my home 22 hours after I had left. I have been all over the globe on all kinds of unreliable airlines and cruise ships, but I have NEVER had this bad an experience. And the worst was the absolute indifference and lack of communication by the company's representatives."
