The agent said there was enough seats for the standbys I wait and wait for my name to be called but no luck. My name wasn’t cleared yet. Finally I was the next to last one to get a seat. The gate agent who didn’t ask for my name tells me I was all the down at the bottom of the list. While I am glad that I got on I wish I knew what method is use to get your name on the stand by list?"

Even tho the airport at San Juan have not night arrivals due to the effects of Hurricane Maria, and on previous days the same flight had been moved to a morning schedule for that reason. I was notified of the delay within hours of departure of the connecting flight."

Had a problem and when i asked for their assistance was given the Delta 800 number and told to call and they walked off. When i called it was a 2 hour wait for an agent. Thank goodness for their app as i was able to.change my flight with the My Delta app. Also they had overbooked the flight and rather than giving assurance to people just told us to wait and "line up orderly"."

Cons: "Initial flight was cancelled after 2 hours delay. My next flight was scheduled the earliest possible by AA which was 24 hours later. No transportation,hotel or miles compensation for this. I had work and responsabilities the next day. TThe scheduled trip was supposed to take off at 7:45. Boarding started late and was very slow. My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug"

My fight from San Juan to Miami on Friday Oct. 7 was cancelled because of hurricane Matthews, since I didnot buy a roundtrip with AA they did not reimburse or offer me a credit for my returning flight. I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."

The dark haired woman gave the guy next to me headphones and when I held out my hand she just looked at me and walked away as if she'd been called away. Which she hadn't she came back and started with the row immediately behind us and the guy next to me was nice enough to give me his. Also after nearly waiting 4 hours, 9 minutes before boarding we were given food vouchers and told to "run and hurry" and get food "to go" so most people didn't even bother using the vouchers because of that. I've had better flights with American Airlines, I just didn't know this one would be so poor. Definitely way below average expectations."

Clearly, everything is set up to make traveler spend the most for any necessary convenience once they arrive at airport. Will not travel with Spirit agIn."
Cons: "I tried to check in online and the first thing I had to do was pay for my carry-on. As soon as I did I had a response that I needed further assistance from a representative and that I had to contact them. When I did, the woman told me that everything was fine. I re-check and told her the message was still showing up. She told me to try on my computer instead because the message didn't appear for her. Oh and before I told someone my problem I was transferred to the operator a couple of times. Finally I pulled out my computer an as soon as I saw the message called back extremely upset and told her that she needed to check with my confirmation number and to please not transfer me to the operator. She confirmed the problem was an error in the billing address. Worst experience for such a small problem. Crew wasn't too happy on the flight, chairs don't recline, no entertainment or drinks. You get what you pay for."

Cons: "Arrived at 11 am to check in, went through security gate. We went Through terminal, I was traveling with a group that met up and we had 3 small children 1 yr old, 2yr old and 5 yr old. We stopped at 12pm at the food court and bought to go foods. Arrived at the gate at 12:16pm which was suggested. Lady at the counter at gate showed no interest in getting us in our flight. She said we were supposed to be there at least by 12: 20 , when she turned around and looked at the time she realized it was only 12:17 pm and then changed her story and said we had to be there at least by 12:10p. We explained the website said also 12:16pm. She said there's nothing she could do and argued with my sister about how it was us not being "responsible". There was a flight attendant next to her while all this was happening, (We were turned away by the lady with boarding passes for next day. SHE DID NOT ATTEMPT AT ALL TO GET US BOARDED SHE KEPT TURNING US AWAY). THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, came running towards us at the food court where he happened to find us and told us to hurry that he was able to communicate with the pilot and he gave the ok to board. We threw our freshly purchased food in the trash and ran with out kids in our hands to the gate. As we got back to the gate area the lady called him and said no that it was too late. The flight attendant was upset and hinted to us that the lady was just being difficult. We missed the wedding we were attending and we threw away food we had just purchased. The FLIGHT DEPARTED AFTER 12:30 AND SINCE 12:16 BESIDES THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, NO ONE TRIED NOT EVEN ONCE TO GET US BOARDED. needless to say the kids car seats were in the plane along with the checked in luggage and the car locked in a security garage til monday. We were stuck and strabded and spent an additional 85$ just to stay in a hotel near the airport. We woke up this morning in our same clothes and are here in the airport today hoping for better customer service. The most HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER."
Pros: "What I supposedly saved in ticket prices was made up in baggage fees. I had to pay $ 55 for a carry on bag??? $2 for a cup of coffee on the plans. I will Seriosly THINK before booking a Spirit flight in the future!!!"
