Even the serving utensils were solid metal and had a very high quality feel to it. Having an endless supply of mid flight snacks was also appreciatd I always like the warm wet towels, which were offered at take off and landing. The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery."

Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them."

The one cup of juice (that was mostly ice) was barely enough to wash it down. Also, my disabled wife was not allowed to have the bulkhead seat because it had previously been assigned to a completely healthy child and mother. there should be some kind of priority system for those seats."

They asked for volunteers to check their bags and I volunteered and when I made a connecting flight to Kauai (final stop Oahu which is a 35 min flight) I tried to switch my flight to an earlier one because I realized That I had a four hour layover before my 35 min flight -_- and they said that I would have been able to but since I checked my carry on I couldn't. And they said it was because my bag would get there much later than me - which I was upset about but understood. Fast forward 4 1/2 hours later and I land on Oahu. My bag is sitting at the terminal because it came over on a plane that got there before me. Totally unhappy - I fly to California and back almost every month and I've never had an experience like this"

After repeated erroneous emails from HAL, the flight was actually scrubbed until HAL could get a crew and plane from Honolulu. The emails actually gave us new departure times that had already passed!) Thanks to some terrific work by the HAL gate crew, we were able to get seats on an Alaska flight. Five hours later than our original schedule but much better than our HAL schedule which finally left 7+ hours after schedule."

There was no compensation."

Meanwhile as we boarded nearly every passenger had an overhead bag that most certainly weighed more than 15lbs. Not sure what was going on there...also the seats are a little tight when reclined. Once the seat in front of me reclined back I had my knees in the back of the chair the entire flight and I am not a particularly tall person- made for a pretty uncomfortable 15hrs."

They were not neatly dressed as compared to others Quantas crew members on other flights, before our meal was served they were eating rolls before serving us. Changing flights was a mess, getting your bags, going though customs, picking up bags and having to go so far in the airport to go check in again was disorganized. Food was not good, fish was fishy, worst meal in three weeks of traveling off and on plans in and out of AU."

It was a constant effort and made hand sore. And even at best the sound was poor."

Pros: "Boarding was quick on-time, and organized and we landed early in Sydney. We were lucky to have an extra economy seat for our 14 hour flight. Needless to say, we were comfortable throughout the entire time. The flight attendants were extremely friendly and happy. I loved how they closed the entire cabin down (windows closed and lights off) so that we could all sleep. All in all it was a very pleasant flight. We'll definitely fly Qantas again."
Cons: "The food was very average, but we don't count on good food in economy, so we weren't disappointed. My entertainment mechanism wasn't working correctly and I was unable to access TV or movies for most of the flight but it looked like everyone else was enjoying their entertainment."

Cons: "I showed up 1 hour and 20 minutes before my flight. An American agent told me I had to go to the kiosk. The kiosk told me I had to go to the counter. An American agent said I had plenty of time to check a bag, beingnup until 45 minutes before and would not help me. When I got to the counter, it was 1 hour before and they said I was too late to check my bag and since I had a bag, they would not give me a boarding pass. They were awful to me and so unhelpful. I will never use this airline or a sister airline again."

The LA airport has no good food options before security and no good areas to wait. Awful experience. The food was also not good at all. Very tasteless."

Cons: "seats were abysmal for a 15hr flight. These are similar to the intolerable seats and spacing for domestic (US) flights on legacy carriers (although, American is now radically changing seat dimensions and comfort on the 737-800). For a 6hr flight, it is not tolerable. For a 15hr non-stop flight, it is punishing. The Quantas A380-200 is no longer a new plane. The seat hardware is tired, lumpy, stiff, back-breaking. This could be improved by more space per seat, but it is not. I am 6'3" (189cm) and not at all fat (75kg), but the amount of seating space was tight. Again, this is an inconvenience for a short flight, and absolutely punishing on a long, 15hr, flight. It was not a cheap flight, and surely some updated seats can be put in, with fewer rows. By contrast, I flew back to US on Air New Zealand, and was entirely comfortable on a 12hr leg on very modern and spacious seats in the lowest economy class seat, on a 777 plane for a much cheaper fare."

Pros: "It was the first time I have flown internationally and not gone through immigration when leaving the US. So was fast. The transfer on the bus was good."

Cons: "I was informed that I had a seat on the plane and when I got ready to board the plane I was informed that there was a problem with my ticket. I was call back out of the line and the booking agent was having a conversation with someone and said that I was in the standby list two times and did they want to allow me on the plane. Nevertheless, they made the decision to allow me to board the plane."

Pros: "I checked in late in Charlotte and they reassign my seats. I asked if there were any seat that would give me more leg room and was told the plane was full. They I was asked if I wanted to move to a window seat, which would have given me less leg room. Then I was asked to show my passport after I was in my seat. I was not provided with any explanation."

Cons: "At first I had booked seats close together for the three members of my family. They then changed 2 out of 3 seats and put us all over the plane, stuck between others. The lady behind the desk refused to do anything about it to get us together saying that seats weren't guaranteed unless we paid an extra $25 at the time. QANTAS has done this to me several times, I book seats and then they change them. Luckily I overheard another ticket agent help a family that had the same thing done to them. She was able to move my families seats and get us together even though the first lady insisted the flight was full and there was no chance of that happening."

I paid $11 for a tiny sandwich (it fit in the palm of my already small hands). I will definitely get good at the airport next time. It may be just as expensive, but at least it will be filling."

Got on board and then they neede 4 people to get off the plane since it was overweight. That took another hour. Bad day of travel."

Pros: "This doesn't really have to do with Delta Airlines however it does affect my experience. I had a very rude TSA agent speak to me na very degrading tone prior to boarding the plane. This experience affected my travel experience with Delta. I realize this person is not a Delta employee however the rudeness that I experienced affected my travel experience."
