Cons: Everything. Singapore Airlines had a great reputation. Imagine my disappointment. It was a horrible flight. The crew was nice enough, but inattentive. The food, if such a term may be applied here, was inedible. Just vile. In flight entertainment was a complete joke. Boarding was awful, but it always is. Seats were extremely uncomfortable. This racket is the ultimate way to rip somebody off of $1000. Horrible.

Cons: We stopped in Korea for two hours, that was not listed on my original itinerary. Then we were late to get to Singapore. My seat was very very small and I was seated next to two very large ppl.

The inflight entertainment, touch screen and remote controlled, was so good i was up the entire time watching movies Black Panther, Downsizing, DeathWish, Pacific Rim and listening to the wonderful library of music, i was surprised at the range of music, from uncensored rap to big band.

Cons: No air vents and the cabin was very very stuffy and warm for many people. I’ve never heard one child cry for 7+ hours before until this flight. But everything else was decent to say the very least:)

Cons: The seat's recline button was broken which meant having to sit for 12+ hours upright. Upon hearing that the seat was broken, the airline crew offered my mother a check for 100 SGD (14% of the ticket value) to be used on Singapore airlines (for the discomfort caused for over 50% of the flight time). They changed her seat from Seoul to Singapore. When I wrote to them about it, they came back saying they had offered her a seat change from LA to Singapore, and she had declined, which is absolutely false. When I called that out, they said, maybe they did not offer aisle seats (note that the broken seat was not aisle). So it just shows that they don't want to accept that they messed up. They even told me that despite their best efforts in pre-flight checks, certain defects only surface when the flight is in progress. Will never ever travel on this airline again.

Cons: Items missing or substituted in the veg but was ok in regular meals. In one veg serving, no salad or dessert was included. Margarine instead of butter for only in the veg meal.

Pros: I haven’t flown Emirates, but SQ beats the many others I have flown by a significant margin—especially the Chinese airlines, but also all major US airlines, JAL, Korean, et al.

Pros: To be honest I had a pretty bad flight because my allergies exploded during the entire flight - constant sneezing, runny nose, you name it. However, the attentiveness of the crew really made up for it. The cabin was decorated with tiny wreathes (so cute!), and the pillow/blanket was very comfortable/warm for an Economy seat. Although I did not use it as much, the entertainment seemed top-notch. And the crew-- they noticed that I was not feeling well, and offered me peppermint tea and snacks that did sooth things a bit (you can request for snack/beverage refills anytime!). I loved that they gave out black socks to the passengers too (I prefer taking my shoes off during the flight, so the socks added warmth & prevented my own socks from getting dirty). All in all, it was one of the best-serviced long flights I had, not to mention probably the most affordable price I paid for my annual trip to Korea (from LA).

Pros: Very good service! Lots of flight attendants and they were kind the flight was long, but mostly smooth. The entertainment was good and there was a lot of it.
Cons: The flight map was a mess. It either said we had 115 hours of flying time or 3.5 hours. Also, it showed the plane pointing in the opposite direction that we were flying in. A minor issue, but weird.

Cons: The seats can be laid bag pretty far and the people in front of me decided to recline for a majority of the 10 hour flight. I wish the chairs either didn't do this or the flight attendants would have said something. I didn't feel like I had the authority to do anything about it. Also it was so warm! I have no idea if there was a fan.

Pros: Clean aircraft. First rate and very attentive cabin staff. High Quality food and mid flight snacks. Its clear a lot of thought has gone into the making and running of this airline. My first experience and quite frankly I will fly SIA whenever possible.

Pros: The aircraft was clean, new, spacious and quiet. The bathrooms were regularly maintained. The food quality, selection and quantity was excellent for the economy class. Even the serving utensils were solid metal and had a very high quality feel to it. Having an endless supply of mid flight snacks was also appreciatd I always like the warm wet towels, which were offered at take off and landing. The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery.
Cons: The crew lacked its usual pep and cheer. For some reason they seemed very introverted and tired. First time on Singapore Airline that I noticed. The amenities kit was a bit on the cheap side. Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them.

Pros: Lounge experience was excellent. Service on the airline in general was excellent. Food and drinks we're just great. I enjoyed the sleeper seat that I was in. Everything was super smooth and I'm so glad I flew with Singapore Airlines.

Pros: The stewardesses were extremely professional- attentive & pleasant. The toilet was well equipped. There was no delay in taking off Boarding was orderly & efficient & quick and so was disembarking. The snacks were nice- ice cream, apples, chops, sandwiches. Many other airlines don't even provide snacks on these long flights. The seats in wconomy were roomy & confortable.
Cons: I can't think of anything that was bad but I didn't enjoy the breakfast. I would have preferred an American breakfast. It was a mixture of shrimp, potato & brocolli. Ivwould have pregerred a criossant & yogurt to the tiramisu & roll.

Pros: The Eva aircrew provided excellent service and were very attentive. They provided a blanket, small pillow and earbuds for the TVs. There was a great selection of current TV shows, movies and music to keep you entertained. There were 3 meals on my flight and they were all decent.
Cons: The seats were decently comfortable, but given that this was a longer flight I wish there was a little bit more cushion. I also wish that there were some vegetarian food options.

Cons: The boarding takes too long, we delayed the departure. A guy wears Eva uniform in white, was a bit rude on directing passengers at boarding gate.

Pros: We were delayed coming out of LA. Arriving in Manila, we were in the tarmac for 30-40 minutes The crew has a habit of yelling out to passengers for them to remain seated instead of approaching them to ask them to remain seated ...AS OTHER AIRLINES DO. Very off putting and shocking.
Cons: The crew can be nicer, more gracious. Hospitality is their trade. I observed that they have a habit of calling out in aloud voice to passengers to remain seated bothered us. It is embarrassing and comical to watch. Other airlines do not do that. The crew must go and talk to them politely.

Cons: Very limited English movie selections for such a long flight. Could not turn Chinese subtitles off for some. Very distracting. Seats in economy (according to online comparisons) are some of the best in the industry but I felt extremely cramped and uncomfortable for the entire flight. Long haul flights should not have seats this small. Also, for health reasons, all seats should have foot rests. It shouldn't be about money, people can die from sitting like that for so long. Also, the food that I could eat was good, but there should be a no fish option. You have a lot of diet types available to choose from but none guarantee no fish. The process for requesting a special meal online was not clear and confusing.

Pros: We sat in the emergency row and had endless legroom. The blankets and pillows were good quality. Food was great! Crew was very attentive. Bathrooms were amazingly clean.

Pros: Had to request a wheelchair at the last minute. Staff was swift and courteous. During the flight it was rather bumpy so drink/snack service wasn't as often. Flight attendants were minimally invasive for safety belt checks. Food was decent. For the price I paid, at the last minute, I cannot complain.

Pros: Love the experience of tasting all the different variety of foods, and the AMAZING shopping they had to offer, not to mention the friendly people I came in contact with.

Cons: Since I traveled with my daughter (4yo), I got to board early from LAX to TPE but my second flight from TPE to BKK, I had to wait till they called my zone seat. I was holding my daughter at that point since they took away my stroller way earlier than the boarding time. I would like to ask for the same standard of parents traveling with children who are 6 or younger to board first so they can get settle and these patents are tiring from dealing with their children during the flight. They are extra tired than regular passengers.

Cons: When checking-in online it tells you to print your boarding pass to bypass the front desk and to go to security when I got the security they told me I had to go back to the front desk I'm going back to the front desk they told me yes it's true so I don't know why they asked you not to go to the front desk. I had great customer service from the lady who check me in at the front desk and my perception of my experience change great.

Cons: Hated being told at checkin that my regulation size carry on bags were slightly over weight and my only option was to go over on the floor and open them up to redistribute the weight. I was reluctantly fine with checking one of the bags, however not with being treated so carelessly and disrespectfully. I am not the kind of person that is ok with being put in that situation. As an airline I understand you need to have rules and guidelines to function, however sending me over to open my luggage on the floor in front of 1000's of other people is just humiliating!! If that is such a strict policy you really should have a space with some kind of privacy available and set up for customers to prepare to make things meet your standards. Then he changed my seat assignment for some reason and put me in an exit row..... not explaining that there is NO SPACE AT ALL for ANY carry on bags. That means no pills nearby that I needed, or headphones, magazines, iPads etc. I was really mad when I sat down and immediately asked to be moved. Luckily someone was willing to trade. Needed more to eat on a 14 hour flight also. Was really hungry.

Pros: Eva Airlines plane was very nice, clean, new and tech-savvy. I have no complaints about the food. The seating also seemed quite nice. If those are the only parts of the experience I would be happy to fly with Eva Air again.
Cons: I did not like that Eva Airlines could not pass gate and terminal information on to United Airlines when I checked into the Orlando Airport. Because this information was missing from the original boarding passes printed at the United Airlines terminal I was sent to the United Airlines gate at LAX. The United Airlines staff was even confused by the way the tickets were printed. I kept asking United Airlines staff and Airport staff where I should go for my connecting flight. They always sent me to the United Airlines terminal and gate and I waited there to board my plane. Shocked at time for departure my plane still was not boarding. I got concerned and started asking even more questions. This is when staff at the airport finally noticed I was waiting in the wrong area. Now I had to run with the help of a security guard all the way to the other end of the airport in order to board my Eva Airlines playing at the Eva Airlines terminal. This led to me being 45 minutes late boarding the plane I have no idea why it didn't take off without me. I am quite certain that they hold the plane for me because the staff for Eva Airlines was extremely rude to me. After running for 20 minutes straight to get to the plane I was extremely thirsty and ask them for water which they totally ignored. Even after boarding the plane and taking off when the stewardess would walk by my side I would ask for water to drink. Even at this later time I was still being ignored. If the stuff for Eva Airlines is like this on my way home I will most likely avoid fighting with them at all costs in the future.

Pros: The food was among the best I have had on an airline. Finally, an airline with enough staff on board to serve everyone quickly. On that subject, the Flight Attendants were very well trained and efficient. They all looked well groomed and beautiful. I had to push the service button 2 times on our 14 hour flight and they were there within less than 15 seconds both times. Amazing! The entertainment was good but not great but it made the time pass. The departure was on time and arrival was 30 + minutes ahead of schedule which made our connecting flight very easy. I highly recommend EVA air.
Cons: The sound system was poor and announcements were hard to hear some of the time. The entertainment could have been better. I wish the attendants could have somehow helped to keep a screaming kid quiet but I understand that is a tough request for any Flight Attendant.

Cons: Philippines Airlines has two things it could improve on: one is the food, which is probably the worst of any airline I’ve flown on in recent years. But the thing that is most problematic is that it is not a member of any alliance. I live in Manila, but only for a year or two, so would be nice for those miles to be transferable. If PAL didn’t have the only direct flight from Manila to LAX, I would avoid the airline altogether for long international flights.

I was observing and trying to get some information on what is happening or reason for our delayed flight but to no avail. The captain's explanation makes no sense. With a 3 hour delay, I knew and felt that It would not be a great ride because right from the very start it already started wrong. I was already stressed out from the very beginning even though i saw in the cabin crew's effort and super great service towards especially to our older passengers their dedication and passion to serve. I was really looking forward to this flight but I guess this was one of those days that all you could do is close your eyes and stretch your patience. One other bad experience was getting on Terminal 1. Great improvement but it could be still better. Can't connect to Wifi (its asking me my number on the US when I did not sign up for roaming and for sure will not be able to get the code that they will send on my number) Last year was better, just log on and boom! Impressively lightning wifi speed connection. No questions or log ins and you can safely assure and text your relatives waiting patiently outside that you are there waiting. I just wished we went to Terminal 2 instead. But I guessed it will also be the same because everything started on a bad start with that 3hour delay. They were lucky most of the passengers were excited to be home and sleeping!

Pros: The treatment by the crew makes you feel like you’re home. Attendants were nice and helpful. Responsive.
Cons: Boarding was delayed due to Korean air that was scheduled at 11:30, but our boarding was at 11:20. Then the bags took so long to get to the carousel. Other flights like the Qatar Air has bags waiting for the passengers. The SFO flight’s bags also were serviced better.

Pros: I liked that the lady at the front desk turned us away and we weren’t able to board our flight due to not having a passport that extended out six months to expiration.
Cons: I did not like the fact that I booked my flights months in advance and would have done this adjustment with Our ample time and not one person informed us about our passports from kayak or Philippine Airlines. It was disgusting that I had to lose my flight and not even receive any kind of courtesy from them or you as far as even a partial refund or any kind of acknowledgement. We just booked other flights without your product. Terrible experience. i am just appalled at the kind of service kayak offers.

Cons: No entertainment at all. This particular Philippine Airlines flight (PR113) from Los Angeles to Manila of July 7, 2018 did not have TV monitors, not even a USB port. Yes, they were iPads to hand around but it was not enough for everybody. Yes, we have cellphones but without a USB port, how do we recharge our phones? Sure we have power banks -- but why would we use it up on entertainment when we will definitely need it to communicate once we get to Manila? For a short flight, fine. However, for a long haul flight of 13 hours or so? Have mercy!!!!!

Cons: Traveling with kids we paid the higher price for a supposely non-stop flight (other better airlines were cheaper with 1 stop). In reality, it made a refueling stop in Guam. This was not disclosed when we bought the tickets. We got an email the morning of the flight telling us the arrival was delayed by one hour still nothing about a stop. We found out when we were checking in at the airport. Then, while stop on Guam, we got email saying the flight is 2 hours late! WTF

Cons: Boarding was terrible. Took over an hour and a half to just board the plane. Could have been done better. Left almost 50 minutes late because of boarding

Comfort is not good really especially for long hrs of flight. But it’s expected for economy class. Also my baggage took so long. I would still fly with PAL it’s non stop and the feel of Filipinos are nice to experience
Cons: The food it’s was terrible sorry. I was expecting a good food from our Homeland and yet they were serving some foreign menu I flew with PAL because I was expecting to have a good meal for a long trip and the crew was giving me a small amount of drinks while my seat mates was having a full can I knownits a small thing I just need to understand why?

Cons: Seats are too close together in economy for anyone over 5 foot ten inches.

Cons: Terrible customer service, took weeks to issue a refund after cancelling a flight completely without being able to present a reasonable solution or new flight. Had to rebook with another company and pay another $300 to do so. Philippines Air was unwilling to work with us or help us.

Pros: I've always enjoyed the service I receive on Asian carriers. Last night was the first time I have experienced PAL. I had read some not so good reviews so I was skeptical and canceled my first booking. After looking at other options, I discovered PAL's direct flight from Los Angeles to Manila was the best option so I took a chance. From the moment I check in at the ticket counter in Los Angeles until we landed in Manila, I received exceptional service, tasty food and a clean environment. I have flown several Asian air carriers and have had great experiences on them all. PAL delivered the same experience I have come to love when traveling to Asia. I will definitely fly them again.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was not having discovered PAL before

Cons: My son didn't receive any goodies at all on our way to Cebu but coming back to LA, he received Madagascar coloring book with crayons, headset, and a stuff toy. Over all it was excellent.

Cons: Kayak sent me an email with wrong Terminal. It said in Terminal B. But there's no Terminal B. They are Terminal 1, 2, 3. So my pick up by my relatives was delayed by 1.5 hours looking for the terminal in the email. I had a headache due to hunger and stress .

Pros: Earlier arrival in MNL on the return flight than expected. Everything went smoothly.
Cons: Delay in flight from MNL to LAX but not really that much of an issue considering traffic in LAX on a Friday night. Online check-in was not working for the return flight to MNL on Dec 30. Was a little too strict on the check-in luggage. Should consider total weight rather than per luggage piece.

Cons: Everything, so I bought a ticket back with Cathay Pacific.
