Cons: "The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

Cons: "I typically fly Delta but thought I would give Sun Country a try and I am so sorry I did. The Delta flight I almost booked was about the same price and offered free carry on luggage, snacks, and the customer service on Delta is always superb. On Sun Country, they didn’t communicate all the hidden fees like $60 for carry on luggage if you book in advance and $90 at the gate. They also didn’t communicate their airline policies (i.e. they won’t print your boarding pass unless it’s more than 45 minutes before your boarding time, even at a small airport where takes $10 minutes to get through security). The flight attendants also were clearly unhappy working for the airline and that showed in their level of customer service."

Pros: "Minnesota was beautiful this time of year! The flight itself was typical, similar to flying Southwest. Boarding moved. The crew were average, nothing above and beyond. Overall decent flight, but then we got diverted. Some positive shout outs to those who worked to make an unfortunate event better: Texas Aero Services and the 20 year olds at the desk were given a challenging and difficult situation which they would not be expected to prepare for and did a decent job. It was a tough spot for them and what Sun Country did to them was extremely unfair and unprofessional. These young men gave credit to the dispatcher at Sun Country who attempted to call up to the CEO, unfortunately he was not empowered enough to take care of the situation. Several star players here, but the team failed. Thanks to Waco Police and the staff at Whataburger for spinning up hundreds of meals in short order beyond the midnight hour. Thanks to KWTX, WFAA, KARE for picking up this story. Finally, to my fellow passengers, I'm sorry we all had to go through this, but to those who were kind, helping, and shed light on this event, thank you. God bless!"
Cons: "Our flight, Sun Country 550 from MSP to DFW diverted to Waco, TX. While unfortunate weather diverts happen, the airline failed to own the situation. The airline was ad hoc and did not have a plan to take care and comfort customers in an unfortunate event. With the lack of communication, I am concerned how this airline would respond in an elevated scenario. The pilot told us we had the option to deplane. After he stepped off, the flight attendant provided conflicting direction that we would all deplane and there was no option to deplane confusing passengers (crew coordination, who's in charge?). Maybe an hour later the plane and crew take off leaving all 150+ pax at what was essentially a closed terminal. Sun Country left no representation on the scene. (lack of leadership and communication). Local law enforcement and the general aviation terminal staff picked up where they could. Sun Country made valid statements with respect to FAA/TSA regulations, but they also blamed the local shuttle company for "not cooperating". The company repeatedly deflected ownership. With regards to ground transportation, we expected that it would arrive within a reasonable time (30 minutes) after deplaning. That turned into hours. I understand bus drivers have a certain fee for getting out of bed at 2AM. Sun Country, as some of us were getting a little stir crazy, I was able to call a local 24/7 hour limo service. They could be at the terminals in short order. For $750, we would get 1 limo, 22 pax from Waco to DFW. Speaking with them, moving 150 people was fairly simple. Sun Country, please try harder. For your new CEO, study this incident and you can see what you need to fix at your company. The most tragic thing I witnessed was a pregnant mother, with lap child experiencing morning sickness in front of everyone at the terminal. What angers me is no one from Sun Country was there to see or comfort her. Those people were in bed or unavailable. There were multiple failures here. In hindsight, it may have been better if the pilot refused Waco and requested Austin where there would have been TSA staff, a standby crew, or more reasonable accommodations. Sun Country could have some contingency contracts with local ground transit companies. There's a lot this airline can take in from this experience to improve themselves, let's hope they do. I would like some consideration for this terrible experience and if this airline cares about its image it should reach out to all flight passengers to apologize and get their feedback to so they don't muck it up again."

Cons: "I booked the flight because my previous flight (Spirit airlines) was cancelled very last minute. I booked this flight and then was informed that it was delayed more than 3 hours. I was unable to work with another delay and was forced to cancel this flight within hours of booking it. I was charged $15 to cancel the flight. So I paid for a flight that was sold to me and not on time and then charged for cancelling it within hours. This was incredibly disappointing."

Pros: "I like that first class was a very affordable upgrade. It was definitely worth it. I have bad knees so the extra room was needed otherwise I cannot bare the pain I get from not being able to move my legs. The crew was very pleasant and attentive. Overall, I really enjoyed the flight."
Cons: "Even though I was in first class, there wasn't as much leg room where I was seated on my return flight. I was sitting in the front row, and the wall in front of me was quite close. And I was a little surprised that there was no wifi option to purchase during flight. This would have been helpful to allow me to continue to work during that time."

Pros: "I would definitely suggest his airline to anyone. The crew was very friendly and seemed to really care about the travelers. They gave complementary checked bags for carry-ons. In addition the flights were not all full which meant no over booking for its customers like so many airlines like to do."

Imagine my surprise that only MIDDLE SEATS IN THE BACK OF THE PLANE were my choices!! Now... I KNEW that not every person on that plane had already chosen all the other seats. I could BUY a seat however! No!!! I already paid for a seat with my ticket!!! I think what your company is doing is dishonest and greedy. There are other airlines that do not have this dishonest practice... And I will be looking at them in the future."

Well of course we crossed it, but that would have been when it turned south in North Dakota. I would like the flight path to be made available to the passengers. It is very frustrating to me to not have any clear understanding of what the landscape features are that I am seeing out the window, and where I am in relation to the earth's suface."

Two were able to check in online after multiple attempts. Three were unable to check in online despite many attempts over ~18 hour period."

Pros: "I thought the flight attendants (a gentleman in first class, also a woman for the first part) were perfectly lovely. I always feel a little silly asking for things, but I never felt like I was a burden. The gentleman was very pleasant and thoughtful (he was reluctant to wake my husband to put his seatback up before landing), and the food was surprisingly good."
Cons: "Right above my seat in 1A, the luggage bin above me was coming apart at the seam, and something gunky seemed to be coming out of it. There was some dampness on the wall in front of me. Also, the part my husband and I both lamented was the fact that being in the first row, we couldn't have bags at our feet for landing. Which we COMPLETELY understand and are happy to comply with. However, the luggage bin directly above us should have been empty and available for us to use. That was not the case, since the flight attendants used those two bins above the FIRST two rows, on BOTH sides of the aisle for their luggage. We had to put our bags above the third row, so that upon departure, we had to excuse ourselves through people standing in the aisle and hand our luggage back up to the front. It's annoying to us and annoying to people in the 2nd and 3rd rows to have us jostling past. The flight attendants should have a special closet just for them, not taking up valuable real estate for guests' luggage. OR, the flight attendants should use the back of the First Class luggage compartments, since they will be deplaning after us anyway. Just a thought. Please consider. Thank you! Pros: "Most aspects of the experience were without flaw for mishap. The entire flight was comfortable. Boarding was easy and we were not nickled and dimed throughout the trip. The luggage accommodations were reasonable and transparent."

Cons: "I know that this is something that can't be done because people will get upset with this (parents) but I think that there should be a rule that babies and small children should not be allowed on flights that leave at 11:55 pm and arrive at 5 am. I wanted to sleep like many others on the flight but it was hard to with a screaming baby. If an adult started screaming or crying they would be detained. I actually would be willing to pay more to have a flight that is 21+ to avoid listening to a baby"

Pros: "Sun Country has a system which promotes smooth boarding. First to board are for those with special needs requiring more time (families with kids, etc.), then the first class passengers, then those without carry-on, or who are willing to leave their carry-on as gate check, then for the first 10 rows, and then the back rows, and then everyone else. This seems to work fairly well since it minimizes jams associated with front row seating first, as well as seating those who have large carry-ons."
Cons: "The only thing is that they should emphasize more that those who board first because they do not have carry-on, but just personal bags, should place those personal bags under the seat rather than use that to board first and then take up valuable space in the overhead compartment. I saw people board first claiming only personal bags, and then they would deposit their bags towards the front in overhead compartments, or they would just put their bags sideways in the overhead--taking up twice as much space as carryon bags going in lengthwise. There was a family with a 4-year-old child as a Lap-child. This held up boarding because flight staff was occupied trying to find three seats together for the family, who were spread over several rows. This held up the boarding line for several minutes as they tried to maneuver the family around to find an extra seat for the 4-year-old, who did not have a purchased seat. Eventually other passengers gave up their seat so the family could seat together, put this took up quite a bit of time for the staff. The gate check staff should have noticed the 4-year-old was too large to qualify as a lap-child, and should have arranged for the family to have another seat prior to boarding."

Cons: "Checked in online on Finnair and automatically for the second connecting flight...and not the first -AA. So, had to check-in again for the first flight at the terminal. Board passes were printed 2 out of 3 by AA and both had errors - wrong gate for the first flight and no boarding info for the second connecting flight - just blank! AA did not provide connecting info until I found an unoccupied employee at the terminal and customer service lines were about 20 people in 2 locations I went to. The connecting info should be in the itinerary they said at customer service...nope, it was not there either!"

On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Cons: "Requested a cup of hot tea during beverage service. Received a cup with the tea bag, sugar and creamer, and was told that they would return with the hot water. They completed service and I had yet to get the water. Reminded the flight attendant twice more that I was still waiting for the water before they finally brought it."

Cons: "Although we can't fault the airline for turning back after being in flight for an hour (due to some computer glitch), it created a 5-hour plus delay. American Airlines was operating the BA flight. They put up passengers in a hotel and provided us with meal vouchers. This was appreciated. But the hotel was shabby and its staff including the shuttle driver were rude and slow. Considering the horrible delay we experienced getting to our destination, this 2-day return from Spain to Atlanta, was just bitter icing on the cake."

Cons: "I had a red eye flight from LA to Orlando and it was delayed 3 hours along with that when we were boarded onto the plane the on board crew were impolite and we were waiting on the plane for over an hour after boarding was completed before any movement."

Cons: "The discount terminal at LAX was a zoo. The flight was pushed back multiple times, with gate changes, and I think we left almost three hours after the scheduled departure. There was little acknowledgment of the delay -- something like a free beverage would have been nice to make up for the scheduling inconveniences. The flight itself was very spartan and the lack of cushioning or reclining made it a pretty uncomfortable few hours. After touchdown, we were on the tarmac for at least forty minutes waiting for a gate to open up. This was not a good experience -- I felt like a fifth-class (or lower!) traveler and I will probably pay a little more to avoid flying with this airline in the future."

Cons: "Round trip fare was $178 - but $104 "additional fees" for seat (????) and baggage. I know it was in the details when I booked, so I paid, but I won't fly Frontier again because I'd rather just pay for the full amount at once. Silly process - feels like bait and switch and takes more of my time paying 3 separate times. It was a short flight, but to not even get free water or usb plug in is sub standard."

Cons: "Flight was horrible was supposed to be 4.5 hours straight though instead we get all the way to st.lewis the pilot said they had to make a landing cause the co pilot was sick so we was going to stop there granted we had already been on the flight for 4 hours now then he came over and said no we're going to fly back to Denver now my flight was from LAX to CVG we was almost to home. So we flew back to Denver an hour and 20 mins to sit at the Denver airport for 2 hours before they could get us another flight. She plane is cramped and seats uncomfortable so finally we make it to CVG around noon eastern time when we was supposed to be there at 6am eastern time. I call frontier airlines and all they was to do is give me a $50 dollar credit twards another flight with them and I never want to fly though this airline again. I won't recommend anyone to them. And just an FYI to frontier we don't want you to try and get us to apply for a credit card when we finally arrive at our destination we want off the plane please find a different way to promote your airline/credit cards. I would suggest improving customer service and everything though I say that would help you a lot"
