Pros: "Entire experience went smoothly. Right from when I booked by tickets to checking in at the airport. I was kept informed of changes to the flight itinerary and didn't have any trouble throughout the process."
Cons: "Nothing really could be improved other than typical airline problems that can't necessarily be solved. We did fly out of LAX on our way home and that was more of an unpleasant experience as there is not near enough seating for people waiting to board their flights."

Cons: "guess they are a budget airline, since Millar to Rouge, Air Transat etc. Didn’t realize they weren’t a real airline company. As said, this is our first time using WestJet."

Pros: "So now we check in on line. Check in at Terminal 2 Then at the gate the West Jet staff do repeats calls asking for people to check in. The shuttle from Terminal 2 to 3 seems unnecessary, especially with the set of stairs to bus shuttle. A bit dangerous to line up on stairs especially for the elderly managing bags etc. Lower price on checked bags and you will not have to do repeated call out for volunteers."

Pros: "First flight got cancelled. Mind you it was a 830am flight so I left to the airport at 5am. The moved me to 10am flight, then I get to the gate and get notified that I was put on the 1145 flight. The longest day for me in a long time for travel."

Pros: "the older West Jet planes are better, Have personal TV's in the seat, very smooth flight, great crew."

Cons: "I don’t want to give an excellent review because it leads to higher fares. But these people are pretty darn good we like to fly with them as much as possible. Two things can be corrected, however. Firstly the amount and size of carry on. If a bag or bundle looks really too big it really is too big. These people are so accommodating though they just let it go. Secondly, sometimes we check in early on line and we have a bag allowance. However, when printing a boarding pass at the airport if we say we are checking a bag the machine wants to charge for it. We always have to ask an attendant to clear this. Perhaps it’s time to fix this little issue. Like I said, I hate to give them an excellent rating because it makes it harder to get a good seat. The company is great and the folks working there are really great. Sorry to say."

Cons: "I was able to download the WestJet Connect app on my phone which gives you access to tv shows and movies to watch on your own device during the flight. The app was free and easy to use and there was a decent selection. However, the wifi on board is not free so even though you could watch the tv show/movie - the sound did not work unless you paid for it. There are many other airlines that offers everything for free - it would have been a more pleasant if we were able to actually utilize the service."
