Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.

Then Copa told me that because I would miss the original connecting flight in Panama (which was impossible to reach because they cancelled the first flight) they would cancel my return flights. They forced me to pay $400 extra on top of the full return fare for just a one way flight, while leaving me to pay for another one way fare at the last minute."

That also happen to other people that were handicap. After discussions and protest they provide one person to move one by one the persons that were handicap."

Staff was pleasant but for some reason desk agent told us that the flight was completely sold out and without telling us, put my wife and I in middle seats in different rows. We were at airport very early and didn't realize until boarding what she had done. In flight staff assisted on the flight and moved us to an exit row where we were able to sit together. Luckily I counted at least 6 open seats and in the end we were happy. I'm not sure why she did what she did. Ironically, she (gate agent) was incredibly nice. Maybe it was simply and honest mistake."
Cons: "On a direct flight from Cartagena to San Francisco we were delayed by an hour on the runway then stopped in Cancun for unspecified reasons. The Captain said we prepared to stop for one hour to refuel but one of the flight attendants said it was to change crew, which seemed likelier given the crew did change. We sat there for an hour with no communication from the crew. When we landed in San Francisco we sat for over an hour waiting for an open gate and also had little to no communication about how long we'd be waiting. Baggage claim took 45 minutes. Overall service was poor and communication was terrible. No accommodation for the significant delays and no drink service while we were waiting despite not being able to bring liquids of our own on the flight."

Since my husband is from Mexico and I am from the US.. They did not tell me about the shot for yellow fever that was required and I specifically called to get information .. Because if that I had to Wilbur at the airport and chafe all other flight I had to return to the US and ended up paying more than $600 .. I had to change Three flight add hotel charges.. It was a mess .. My itinerary FEXWK5 and FEWS4Z.."

My flight to Boston was delayed which then resulted in me missing my flight to Panama. Upon boarding the flight from Boston to FLL the flight attendant said I would miss my connecting flight to Panama, but when I arrived to FLL I was told I would have had plenty of time to make my flight. Following these events my luggage was misplaced and is still missing, I had no other choice but books a hotel to stay the night until the next flight to Panama which is at 11 P.M. tonight which is coming out of pocket and expense I feel should be covered by the airline. To add insult to injury I was just informed that I would have to check out by 12 Noon today even though my flight isn’t until 11 that same evening"

Pros: "Needless to say, price was a plus. Comparable prices on JetBlue and Avianca on the same CTG to FLL flights were US$300-$400 more at the time of booking. Arrived just in time at the airport for the cutoff provided in the online check-in paperwork and the line was full with all the other passengers for that flight there being processed. I thought surely it would be a long wait and soon the flight would be closed, but we actually moved very swiftly as they had 3 agents tending to the counter. They were all courteous and quick. At the gate, an announcement was made that the flight was overbooked and they offered a couple of volunteers a $500 credit towards Spirit flights as well as being re-booked for next days flight. Once on board, the three flight attendants were also courteous. WI was assigned seat 2F on their A320 v1. Best seat by far I've had assigned without paying for reserving one with Spirit. While it did not recline, I did not find the standard angle detrimental and I had TONS of legroom even when the upgraded row 1 seats ahead were reclined. The flight itself was smooth and quick. We left right on schedule to the T, and parked at our gate about 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Being one of the first out allowed me to zip through immigration without any waits and was out of the airport before our scheduled arrival time! For sure God was blessing me this day. But could it also be that Spirit's new CEO is really turning things around? Lets wait and see how the return flight goes. Stay tuned... AF."
Cons: "One of the gate attendants was a bit on the rude side, screaming and demanding that all passengers get in one line or we would not board... even after I explained that her co-worker did not call to board by zone. He had explained the boarding process, but failed to start calling by zone. He at least used the proper equipment (microphone & overhead system). But this young lady was screaming... seriously? They could've avoided by: 1. Following protocol, and 2. Being consistent in using the designated communication equipment. Additional training is needed here for sure."

Después de que el vuelo se atrasara más de 4 horas, nunca logré entender porque fue que nos atrasamos. Nos decían que íbamos a hacer una cosa y hacían otra. Pasamos de ilusiones y luego desilusiones durante horas. Amo viajar y nunca en mi vida me había sentido tan estresado como viajando con Spirit Airlines. No solo fue el atraso del vuelo, sino que también salíamos a las 12:45pm de San José, hora a la que usualmente creo que todos almorzamos, y no se les ocurrió darnos de comer sino hasta las 6:00pm (hora de Costa Rica) y yo no se si según ellos por darnos una latita de Pringles y un vaso de Coca Cola ya se nos iba a olvidar el terrible atraso que tuvimos. Cuando llegué al aeropuerto de Miami noté que habían roto una rueda de mi maleta y se lo dije a una empleada de Spirit Arilines que no sabía que hacer así que recurrió a otra y lo que me dijeron fue que eso no era problema de ellas porque probablemente había sucedido en Costa Rica y luego se fueron. Ahora mismo estaba tratando de hacer el Check In para mi vuelo de regreso y nunca había sido tan complicado hacer un Check In, ni siquiera entiendo porque no puedo hacerlo.
