Hit tons of turbulence with no warning. I know you can see that ahead of time so just give us a heads up. They couldn’t get the bridge way to the plane so we sat for half an hour in the no ac plane instead of getting us a stair or other gate."

Pros: "I loved that the pilot on my first flight introduced himself and staff to the customers prior to loading the plane. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The leg-room! The leg room was a great surprise. No hassle with bags. Great snacks, wi-fi and movies for FREE! I was so tickled. I've never flown JetBlue. I thought it was just another low-cost airline that makes you pay for everything , what a nice surprise! I immediately gave you a shout-out on my facebook account. Best flight experience I've had in a long time. Thank you."

Cons: "1. Forced to check carry on because of a pocket in the front when other passengers were allowed to bring actual suitcases which were taken right before boarding. Apparently JetBlue has a quota to meet as to how many people they charge for carry on luggage. 2. Refused to allow me to request my seat ahead of time to try and charge a $50 fee for an upgraded seat, even though by purchasing a ticket, I am guaranteed a seat on the plane. 3. Late once again. So far every flight taken by JetBlue this year has been late. My only on time flight this year has been with Delta. I do believe they are the new Spirit Airlines in disguise. This airline has been moved to the bottom of my list. I may take them once more but it depends on how many points I have with them, if it's enough to cover a free trip. If it doesn't, I will forfeit as the aggravation and nasty behaviour at the check in counter especially at LaGuardia is too much to take. They are also every discriminatory at that airport also, especially the people who work at JetBlue. I have to take responsibility for keep trying. It the same as beating a dead horse and expecting it to get up and run."

The other option was I needed to go to the airport to change it and pay supplement. Luckily it was only a 30min taxi ride from my hotel. The desk staff could see the issue and resolved the problem within 20mins - extremely helpful. A shame this could not be sorted in UK by phone and email"

This should be communicated to the customer when placing him in that seat, and a discount should be provided. I am requesting a partial refund, very unnecessarily uncomfortable flight. Thank you."

If you don't watch the board you'll miss your flight. Why not send a crew member to the gate you told passengers to go to , and put a sign by that gate notifying passengers of the change! So stressful!!! 2) In transit passengers catching connecting flights, Copa to Copa, have to go through their security again! What, why?? We cannot eat, drink and relax at the gate because no fluids are allowed AT YOUR GATE. We are not talking ourtside security, you are already in the security areas. Even to go to the bathroom you have to go in and out of security, again! Stupid!! We didn't leave the terminal, and you're making us miserable!"

Copa offers free headphones, meal and drinks, which is very rare on short flights. I was glad to enter a cool plane, as the Tocumen Airport was without air conditioning service."
Cons: "Tocumen Airport is always crowded, noisy and this time around was without air conditioning. As their main costumer, Copa Airlines should pressure the airport authorities to keep a standby AC system in place or replace it with one that can better handle extreme traffic of people."

Cons: "On a direct flight from Cartagena to San Francisco we were delayed by an hour on the runway then stopped in Cancun for unspecified reasons. The Captain said we prepared to stop for one hour to refuel but one of the flight attendants said it was to change crew, which seemed likelier given the crew did change. We sat there for an hour with no communication from the crew. When we landed in San Francisco we sat for over an hour waiting for an open gate and also had little to no communication about how long we'd be waiting. Baggage claim took 45 minutes. Overall service was poor and communication was terrible. No accommodation for the significant delays and no drink service while we were waiting despite not being able to bring liquids of our own on the flight."

Since my husband is from Mexico and I am from the US.. They did not tell me about the shot for yellow fever that was required and I specifically called to get information .. If they would have told me to look for the unfortunate myself I would have. But I was told nothing was needed . Because if that I had to Wilbur at the airport and chafe all other flight I had to return to the US and ended up paying more than $600 .. I had to change Three flight add hotel charges.. It was a mess .. My itinerary FEXWK5 and FEWS4Z.."

Cons: "Flight was over 2 hours late leaving Lima, so many people missed connections in Miami, NOBODY from LATAM was at the gate to assist with how to make new connections or how to get local accommodations for the night. This was a customer service fail. American is no better. They rescheduled the flight at no cost, but then sent you back to LATAM for help with the overnight. If we buy tickets from your website and you own the process, you should be more helpful when there are problems. The back-and-forth was frustrating. Lima airport takes a long time to go through all the checkpoints. Two hours does not give enough time. There are at least four long lines that have to be endured. This process could use some streamlining."

It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them."

Cons: "At the Lima gate they made each passenger open their carryon and submit to a secondary inspection to confiscate all water we bought past security. No warning was given about this. I had paid airport prices for water to bring onto the plane and then had to surrender it at the gate. Of course in economy class they will not give you water or attention until you are at cruising altitude. More than one flight attendant did not smile and one was actually rude in spite of my attempts to be kind and smile. Except for one friendly person at check-in kiosk, bad service overall. They do not have personal entertainment systems, and it was like going back in time with the tiny screens you cannot see, playing a movie you either watch it or not."
Cons: "My flight from SFO to Miami was delayed so I missed my connection to Rio and now I’m NYC on my birthday instead of my final destination. The flight status was changed 7 times. And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster."

The issue was that Kayak did not update me with the Flight number for American Airlines and kept sending me information about the flight with Finnair which was not going to actually take place. I had to actually call American and spend time with a Representative providing all the data to be able to get my American Airlines flight booking code so I could check in online. American as always was great! Shame on Kayak!"

They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"

Cons: "I was made to check my carry on in a rush because there wasn't enough space supposedly. I was told my bag would be transferred all the way to bogota. When I got on the plane I saw plenty of space AND when I got to Bogota my bag wasn't there. My carry on had my most important belongings for in case other luggage was lost. It's not faire that other passengers get to carry on suitcases and a personal item and I can not being my small backpack. It's very inconvenient since my rain gear, my shoes and my Phone chargers are in that bag."

Then another supervisor who was a Spanish lady said to me that sorry the maintenance is falling behind due to lack of comnication and promised that our seats will be fixed soon but she said in the meantime we could find any other seats that are single and sit until ours is ready. Well the two other seats that were available at that was a seat next to the kitchen and bathroom and that also had the seats were taken out. We were very stressed and felt like we were not treated professionally. Anyway we finally got our seats back and the rest was better."

Cons: "The boarding is a joke. They do not tell you which group is boarding and then turn you away if you are not in the correct group. I sat back and watched as the mob tried to board asking each other which group was boarding which no one knew. When I got up to board I asked and was told, "I held up two fingers". Personally I think using the intercom would work much better. I was thinking this was just a one time deal, however they handled it the same way on the return flight. This was the first time I used American, so I do not know if this is their standard policy, but this issue and a long list of others will make me think twice before I use them again."

Cons: "The staff were pushy and rude to me when they told me at the gate, when I was about to board, that I could not have a backpack and small purse. This is not what I understood when booking and is not clearly explained at the time of purchase. One attendant at the gate in particular was forceful and rude when insisting that I pay over $66 in cash at a moment when going to the ATM would mean potentially missing boarding and not arriving back in time to the gate. This process, which I agreed to because two staff members gave me the impression that I could not travel on the flight unless I paid right there instantly in CASH (completely ridiculous), caused me anxiety and took a long time, too long given the urgency of boarding the flight. I had to wait for change for 5 minutes and as a result, I was the last one to board. It should be noted that this process of paying for a maleta in hand at the gate had been preceded by having to pay over $20 in cash to print a boarding pass, which required another ATM withdrawal and fee. This is a weak and predatory business model, which seeks to exploit people’s need to travel and their anxiety. This was carried out in a completely unprofessional and manipulative manner by the staff members. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and exploitative."

You have to print one from home or use an internet cafe at the airport that charges $6 to print a single sheet of paper. They jam your carry on bag into a small box. Boarding took longer than the flight! The seats are incredibly cramped yet they recline all the way back, so you're likely to have someone in your lap for the entire trip. Absolutely horrible. Nothing like other high quality discount airlines such as Air Asia which at least treat you like a human being."
