I went there and was told to go back to Terminal C, which was where I was until I printed the ticket at the kiosk and it indicated E. I went back to Terminal C and there was no signage to explain what was going on. So I had to go get in a line to get to an agent, who sent me through the entrance to C gates, where, it turns out, there is a passageway to Terminal E. This was tiring, carrying my bags, and a waste of time."

I had to switch to next morning flight because I didn't want to fly through the night because of the delay. I booked the flight literally was no seats other than the $65 upgraded seats with more legroom which I know I need because I am not that tall. But I could not take two seats being next to each other. I cultured blue and they told me that the airline themselves reserve the free seats To encourage customers to buy the upgrade seats first"

Wanted us to wait until Wednesday to get another flight and overall couldn't help us in any way. I plan to call and speak to a customer service, because I had to rent a car and a hotel room to another city and find myself a way out to Brazil that wouldn't be waiting until Wednesday."

Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

However, I discovered at check-in I would actually be traveling on American Airlines with a different flight no. I had already provided my BA flight numbers to family. No explanation was give to me prior to flight that this would be the case. Food was terrible- even for Coach class - I don't always expect a gourmet meal, but BA was consistently good in the past, so I had positive expectations. My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it."

Cons: "We understand that delays happen but due to a delay on American Airlines we have lost our luggage and it doesn't seem likely it will be returned. We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall."

I explained her I had personal documents and stuff inside my trolley but she told me I had to take another fly if I refused to checked. Our surprise was that the space above our seats ( row 30) was available and left empty the while fly! It was not fear and discriminated!"

Cons: "Our plane departed on time, 6:05 AM. About 6:40 A E turned back towards Boston. There was a problem with the wing. It got repaired. We deplaned. And waited. And waited. Then we needed fuel to be removed. And we waited. And waited. Then we got back on board, got to the runway, and the RIGHT ENGINE didn't start. So they tried to repair it, couldn't (didn't want to fly on that old, broken plane anyway at this point), and we had our flight canceled. All told, I spent 10+ hours at Logan Airport. It was an absolute disaster."

Cons: "Boarding was a mess with an adjacent gate exiting at the time of boarding creating a melee of people crossing queues. You have a carry-on baggage policy - stick to it. I wasn't carrying any roll-ons or large items but many of my fellow passengers were carrying multiple items in the hope of either getting them on or having them checked for free. Complete shambles with later boarders running up and down the aisle trying to fit their carry-ons into overhead lockers. Solution: Enforce one item only; Apply free checked items at the gate early. Apply a fee for items that don't fit and were not offered up for checking."

Cons: "I was very upset that the gate agent stated that the overhead bins were full and that I would need to check my carry on bag, which i did. However upon boarding the plane, there were multiple overhead bins that were actually empty. I do not appreciate being lied to by the gate agent and being forced to check my bag when there was plenty of overhead bin space available. Moreover, I waited for nearly 30 minutes for my then checked bag to come through the baggage carousel after deplaning. This is far too long to have to wait for a bag after a 5.5 hour flight, especially when it was a carry on bag I was forced to check despite there being ample room in the overhead bins. Very disappointing and unnecessary aggrevation. Additionally, there was some slight turbulence during the flight for which the captain turned on the seat belt sign and everyone was requested to return to their seats. A few minutes later there were still some people standing in the aisles waiting to use the restroom, at which point a female flight attendant came on the intercom and stated, "I will try to make this as simple as possible for you to understand..." She then carried on explaining in a very rude and sarcastic tone the safety reasoning behind asking the standing passengers to return to their seats. While her frustration with people not returning to their seats was understandable, her tone of voice and sarcastic demeanor was not professional, and quite unappreciated. My overall experience with United could have been much more pleasant but for these instances. I feel these couple of bad experiences could have been easily prevented which would have led to a much more enjoyable experience with United. Unfortunately, because of these things, I will think twice about flying with United in the future."

I often have to travel with my suitcase carry on and it's difficult to insure I will get on at a decent time to get a space. My husband who rarely flies, but has a United credit card, gets Boarding Group 2 every time. This is frustrating to those who travel United still but can't seem to get a break on the boarding. It discourages us from flying United because of this approach. Charging for bags and boarding in the manner they do does not promote efficiency in the boarding process and only frustrates customers and discourages people from flying United. Changing their priorities would help both efficiency and make them a friendlier airline."

Cons: "all the televisions were going on and off, on and off, doing this thing that said "searching" and they would go black, and then turn on again in a sequence that I can only describe as a blinking Christmas light pattern all over the plane. It gave me a huge migraine, and the woman next to me covered here TV with a scarf that barely blocked out the light in her face. It was extremely distracting and I couldn't even nap."

Also, my television on the seat back did not work, so I had to sit there in silence for the 4 hour flight."

Cons: "My original flight were CMH to ORD, ORD to FLL. First of all, it took 25.5 hours to get CMH to FL. Could not even landed at FLL, they send me at Tampa and I have to drive to Miami and took 5 hours after frying and waiting for 20.5hours. Finally, got in to Tampa, of course UNITED lost my laggege and they had no idea where it was. UNITED CREWS are not willing to help you. I am so tired to deal with UNITED and I do not recommend to my firends or family or anyone."

Cons: "I'm used to quality service from JetBlue and Virgin America, so this was awful. Nothing was free--not even peanuts! I got a tiny cup of coca-cola for free and that was about it. The staff was curt and not very friendly, the flight was long and uncomfortable, and there was absolutely no on-board entertainment. For a $300 flight that normally costs $150 with other airlines, I don't know what I'm paying for."

Next available flight wasn't for 48 hours later. No accommodations, compensation, or bags. Never fly United or in or out of Newark Liberty International."

Pros: "My airport and flight experience from Newark on Christmas Eve was excellent , no delays plenty to keep you entertained while you wait for flight , great stores and eateries . Would definitely choose the airline and airport again ."

Pros: "I had a very pleasnt experience except the seat rows were SO small and my seat didn't recline. I am only 5ft 4in and I felt uncomfortable. The woman next to me was cleary very uncomfortable. This was my first time flying United in a while and I will definitely avoid UA in the future for long flights."

Cons: "In the matter of an hour, they delayed, canceled, uncancelled, and then delayed our flight for over three hours. During all of this, their employees were completely unreachable. PLUS they charge $40 for a carry-on!! Complete scam!! I will never fly Spirit again."

Pros: "Lack of communication from crew. Started with gate change that no one announced. Then mechanical issue. Sat in seat over 5 hrs for 2 and half hour flight."

Cons: "AC was broken, plane was dirty, cramped, charged for small carry on, in air advertisement like "AIR QVC", still Serve alcohol to drunk passengers who were yelling on small plane.. I mean that's a lot!"

Cons: "I had a small carry on which they forced me to pay $59 for at the airport. If you add this to the price I paid for the ticket, there is not much of a discount. The seats also did not recline which is not very comfortable. you pay for everything including the water."

Cons: "Dishonesty, told crew was there by one flight attendent. Then 40 min later told crew was arriving from atlanta. And do to wreather it is not your fault. Was asked to hurry boarding for a quick turn around. Then sat on plane for 2+ hours. Bit we where given complimentory water. Thanks for that."

Cons: "The least amount of legroom I'd ever seen on an airplane it was awful. I'm 4 10 and my knees were within an inch of the seat in front of me"

Pros: "Let me start with the fact that I will never fly Spirit again, ever! My 5:58 flight was delayed at least 6 times. Each time with a different excuse for the delay. Between mechanical issues, weather (clear weather from PHL to FLL), no flight crew, and out of hours, the airline used ever excuse in the book. Once they determined we could not fly that night, our flight was pushed to the next day. They only had 2 irrate employees working who were just condescending to many of the frustrated passengers. They would not compensate the rooms for the night, nor refund people so they could take another airline. I also called spirit customer service line and the insurance contact I had through priceline. Neither provided any sort of help. Additionally, spirit had discounted hotel options, but did not distribute them to all waiting at 12am for some type of info and support. The next day, they told is our flight would leave at 10. We again werr delayed 2-3 times and didn't take off until the afternoon, causing me to be late for the wedding I was a part of. There is so much more to tell, but I need to file a full formal complaint later to Spirit, priceline, and the flight insurance company. This was hand down the worst flying experience I have every had in my life. And o fly at leave 1-2 times a month."

After 2 gate changes and a delay, we were told incorrect information by a Spirit flight attendant who told us to go to A14, when really we should have been at A2. But the flight board showed our flight number at A14. So we go to A2 and the plane door just closed - I watched the door shut - and they said we were too late. My BF (who is black) didn't say a word, but the attendant tried to say he shouted at her. I have 3 witnesses who say no announcement was made for a gate update, no final boarding call, etc. The Spirit supervisor lied and denied he was a supervisor. I had 2 different people lie to my face and I watched my plane pull away while my BF was being told that he was "screaming" at people (not true, have witnesses who are willing to testify). I have contacted my lawyers and I will be pursuing legal action. I will never book Spirit again and I have contacted my CC company to get my funds back 100%."

Cons: "We landed 40 minutes early, but then got stuck on the tarmac because the gate was not ready. The crew gave no information about what was happening or an estimate of the time we would be stuck there. It was hot, and after finally getting to the gate the checked bags took another 30 minutes to come out."

Pros: "Flight delayed by 4 hrs and 21 txt messages. Charged $45 dollars online for carry on online the day of the flight. Must pay while booking for $30 dollar special. Will never fly Spirit again."

Pros: "You sent EIGHT DELAYED DEPARTURES all with different times as to when the flight was leaving , gave everyone one package of cookies and then sent a voucher for $50.00 with a TWO MONTH Expiration date!!!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The voucher doesn't cover the ADDITIONAL COST of the seat or even the luggage!"

Cons: "This airline is serious about "no frills." I didn't realize this until check-in: my "cheap" ticket would get me absolutely nothing in terms of accomodations that most travelers depend on, like a carry-on bag. "No frills" policy aside - the check in process was HORRIBLE. I thought I could easily check in using my cell phone -- wrong. This website has no mobile version for cell phone users. I had to get my laptop to easily navigate the very slow website. Even when navigaing on the laptop, I had trouble navigating around between pages. I couldn't return to the previous page to de-select my chosen seats. It was also difficult to choose an option that didn't include PAYING for the seats."

Cons: "The boarding pass I printed at home did not include my infant daughter that I planned to hold on my lap. Somehow I made it through security with this ticket, but then couldn't board. The woman at the desk fixed it in the system but I boarded last, which was stressful. When we landed in Ft. Lauderdale, the stroller I checked at the gate was nowhere to be found. I was told to check baggage claim. Luckily it was there, but getting there involved a long walk with my daughter and 2 bags in my arms. Very frustrating. For the return flight to Philadelphia I tried to add my daughter to the boarding pass I printed at home. No luck. Instead I had to wait in an extremely long line that went out the doors and into the heat of the sun with my daughter. I was told I had to wait in this line because I did not add my daughter to the boarding pass. I told them she was in the system but it wouldn't print on the pass. Then I was told that was because they had to see my daughter in person. ?!?!?!? Very frustrating."

Cons: "Charging for every single thing they can possibly charge you for. The icing on that cake is that they even charge you for water in flight. Now, that is so horrible. Only taking credit cards too. There are many older people on these flights that do not even have credit cards.... so they may not have water? Cheap flight!!??? nope, add everything together and with flight attendants that don't want to be there and a captain that let us sit on the tarmac for a good 15 minutes before thinking he should tell us what's going on. That was my first and it is my last Spirit flight! And i am telling everyone that i know not to fly Spirit. Some people I have told have stories of their own and said they won't fly Spirit ever again too."

My outgoing flighr was cancelled, I paid over a hundred dollars to check one bag and then they left it, I almost missed my return flight because of the horrendously long lines at the airport, the outgoing flight took off like an hour late a day this airline even charges for a glass of water. Never again am I flying with spirit."

Cons: "Unable to use TSA precheck. Since I was unable to pay for bags while on the Jayak site, I had to pay $10 more later on the Spirit Air site"

The lines were long and took forever just to make other reservations. Now we missed a whole day of our already short vacation. NIGHTMARE."
