Cons: "never made it to this flight."
Pros: "Flight on time"
Pros: "The crew was really nice and I like the cookies"
Cons: "."
Cons: "They cancelled two of my flights in one weekend. We will not use American Airlines again."
Pros: "On time flight, efficient, friendly crew. Clean plane."
Cons: "I was told that 30 minutes is plenty of time to make a connection at DCA. However in order to make a connection there you need to take a bus across the tarmac. The bus sat on the tarmac loading up with way too many people for 10+ min… Almost missed our connection"
Cons: "All good"
Cons: "They lost my bag in my layover at DCA. Even with a first class orange tag and 1:10 layover, they didn’t transfer the bag between planes on a Thursday evening. The planes were probably 300 feet away. Clearly their entire luggage tracking systems at DCA are broken. Even with 1:00 connections at O'Hare, DFW, PHL, my luggage has not gotten delayed."
Cons: "Short flight there was no entertainment but that’s ok"
Pros: "On time! That pretty much says it all. I think American did a great job at everything they had control of."
Cons: "Having connecting flights that seem like they are miles apart. I’m sure there is a good reason for this but it is annoying to have to change concourses at these huge airports."
Cons: "Nonoption for wireless headphones to connect via Bluetooth."
Pros: "This is such a quick flight, and the staff made it quite easy."
Cons: "My in Flight Wi-Fi did not work. Not a huge deal, because it's such a quick flight, but it is a little Annoying, and may have just been a bad day for the system."
Pros: "Flight attendants were the best ever."
Cons: "Entertainment set up was confusing and slow. Headphones didn’t work. Seat didn’t recline."
Cons: "Flight was 3- 4 hours late No food No reimbursement"
Pros: "On time."
Cons: "One of my pieces of luggage was not on my flight. The gate agent was difficult to understand. It was her nasal accented English that was the problem."
Pros: "Very attentive.. good service.."
Cons: "Seats to tight.."
Cons: "Tight not comfortable"
Pros: "Nothing to complain about!"
Pros: "Comfortable, fast check in, nice staff, arrived a little early, great timing. Will fly AA again"
Cons: "I am very frustrated that a single part could not be located in the early afternoon to allow the plane to fly. I will be late again for work and it seems to be American Airlines and not Delta that has all the delays or is late."
Cons: "The trip is still ongoing 6 hours after it was to have been over and we still have a couple more hours to go. I understand that things happen, but most of the problems today seem to have been preventable. First, our plane in Lihue was delayed for over 3 hours because they could not get a working fuel truck to fill the plane. Three hours? This caused us to miss our connection in LA, although just barely. We had to wait onboard so that we could use the same gate that our outgoing plane was departing from. If we had just been sent to a different gate we. Oils have made our original flight. So, they put us on a flight to Chicago because there were no more flights to Minneapolis. Then, once in Chicago the incoming plane was delayed and we sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes before deplaning. Then after an hour delay we were told the crew was on the ground and we were boarded. Sat in the plane for another hour, then we’re told we were still waiting for crew members that were delayed so we deplaned again. Another 90 minutes past and we got back on the plane and sat for another 45 minutes. We are finally pulling away from the gate. Hallelujah!"
Pros: "Very smooth flight. Competent crew."
Cons: "It was all good."
Pros: "Snacks"
Cons: "Could have been given more snacks for 3 hr flight"
Pros: "Everything else"
Pros: "Food was okay. Luckily plenty of wine to get through 8 hours on this horrible plane."
Cons: "No individual video screens. Also our audio did not work ( true of most of one side of plane) so we could not even watch movie on the TINY overhead screen. Reading lights also did not work. We had no options to pass the time for an eight hour flight. The crew was unconcerned about the problem. They seemed grumpy!! This plane should not be used for long haul flights."
Cons: "Delayed over two hrs due to mech. Known long befire scheduled departure according to pilot. Did not know why alt plane was not provided sooner! Not best airline as claimed!"
Cons: "Cramped seating, uncomfortable cabin temperature, very hard/jolting landing"
Cons: "No accommodation for delays and overnight stay in airport."
Cons: "Had to wait for pilot coming from Mexico flight for 20 mins after everyone boarded"
Cons: "Prices are high and changes are frequent on rates"
Pros: "Staff was friendly"
Pros: "Crew"
Cons: "Small plane"
Pros: "Watch movies, charge your phone, play games, and snack away after meals. Had an excellent flight. I have to say that the crew made the experience very relaxing. Departure and arrival were as stated, maybe a few minutes over, but it is not like JAL can control the weather. Great experience overall!"
Cons: "It would be nice to get complimentary wifi access, even if it's for a total usage time of 30 minutes, to text/email loved ones about departure and arrival. Still have good access options."
Cons: "Tight conditions, lousy movies& music, video system did not work well, 1 hour wait on runway"
Pros: "Smooth flight, barely late."
Cons: "Broken sink, horribly uncomfortable, cramped seats."
Pros: "The crew was great and getting 2 meals was very nice."
Cons: "My headphone jack kept malfunctioning (loud popping noises in my earbuds) while watching the movie and all the reading lights came on and stayed on the majority of the flight so sleeping was difficult."
Pros: "Complimentary cocktail! Great selection of entertainment on our own personal screen."
Cons: "Boarding agent was abrupt"
Cons: "The plane was 2 hours late . It was in the hsngar. They said they were fixing the plane. It was an old plane. No Screen anywhere . It was 5.5 flight across country. Only pretzels. I will try not to fly American again."
Pros: "That I at least had an aisle seat."
Cons: "I used to fly USAir all the time. The service was excellent. Following the merger, not so much anymore. The seat was very cramped. So much so that I had trouble walking when I got off the plane, and I'm in pretty good shape. I used to get upgraded often with USAir. Now that I have 3 times the mileage built up, it never happens. This wasn't the worst American flight , however. I recently had the displeasure of flying on one of the new planes, and that seat was so upright, cramped, and hard, it was like being on Spirit! (And I refuse to get on their planes ever again) my entire body was sore and stiff after flying on the new AA jet."
Cons: "Did not get to finish the movie I was watching on my first flight and movies were not offered on this flight."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I booked the flight specifically because it was advertised and booked on British Airways, which is considered a nice international airline to fly. The flight was swaped to American Airlines, and I was put on an international flight that was archaic, I would have been better off flying a prop plane from the 1970's."
Pros: "Ebetything"
Cons: "Nothing."
Pros: "Flight was on time and the ride was perfect."
Cons: "Everything was good on this flight."
Pros: "Crew was great"
Pros: "Staff was very courteous and friendly."
Pros: "Politeness of the crew"
Cons: "Not very spacious and entertainment only offered at My own expense"
Pros: "Wasn't over booked"
Cons: "No entertainment no offer to up grade"
Cons: "When I noticed on the itinerary that the layover only gave me 35 minutes I knew it would be a problem. I missed my flight and never got to Pensacola . AA staff were not very Empathetic. It seems to happen often. I'm in a hotel and praying that my flight leaves today."
