Staff happily kept offering to refill my water on the ~2 hr flight (probably more frequently than JAL asked during my 13 hr flight a couple months ago...). Overall, good flight. Professional staff. They acted very professional while the person appeared to be in and out of consciousness. The person eventually became better, but it is always good to see a well prepared crew deal with an issue. Also I am happy they had the bim bim bop on this flight. I didn't have it on the flight I had from Riyadh to Seoul that I took to get out there."

At the airport in Doha the flight representative went above and beyond to accommodate better seating for myself and my son. Luckily it was not a full flight and lots of the passengers had plenty of space. The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional. I will definitely be giving this airline my hard earned money in the future for reservations as much as I can!!!!"

Since a new policy of TSA according to them, you cannot take your computer with you in the plane. This means that working in your way back is very hard and you will be loosing the day which is very uneficient. But what was even worse, is that they didn't allow me to check my bag in the last connection gettting to the US, instead they made me check it from my original destination which made me loose almost two days of work without giving me a logic response on why I couldn't check my bag from my inbound flight to the US. By the way, this protocol from TSA is terrible. No internet in their flights No chargers plugs in all of their flights (including the ones that take you more than 4 hours) Lunch in their 15 hours flight is mediocre, everyone was starving since they only gave us one mini empanada."

I purchased a multi-trip and failed to used the ticket I purchased because I had to leave Qatar early since the person I was staying with was disorganized and flew out the country. I then purchased a different ticket with another airline because it was cheaper. Since I did that, they cancelled my whole trip. HOW? And I payed for a service I clearly didn't receive. As a result, stranded, I had to pay an additional $1,125 for a one way ticket home - more than my original round trip multi flight purchase."

Cons: "Kayak booked the ticket through flight network and when we reached airport the airline staff was not able to find the ticket. The flight was missed in trying to find what went wrong and when called the flight network they told that due to insufficient time between booking and departure time they canceled the reservation. No message was sent for cancelation and it caused a lot of troubles and grief to all involved."

Pros: "I enjoyed my first time flying with Emirates from Australia to New Zealand The checking in was quick, easy and the staff were friendly. The crew were polite, and friendly with excellent customer service. Refreshments and Entertainment were first class. I will be flying Emirates from now on."

Cons: "Terrible procedure of getting the BORDING pass. I had to walk very long distance from arrival to gate 155 to find a CIA desk to get my boarding pass. The worst seat on the plane was assigned to me and CiA procedure didn't give me any chance for a normal seat. I had the bad chance to be served by a HIPER team of two flight attendants that rised my blood pressure. Their egarness to be productive and their rush were NOT justified, especially on such a long flight; low professionalizm."

Cons: "Food was extremely salty and the selection was terrible. I was given the same pasta for two meals (first time I had a choice, second time only pasta again). Even the same type of pasta but the second time there was some chicken in it too. It was gross."

Pros: "I have flown on many airlines to include many US carriers for domestic travel, as well as, many international carriers. I have flown around the world 4 times in the 2016-2017. These flights were flown in Coach. I have to say that China Air was remarkable in its service, cleanliness, on-time departure and arrival, and all around airline operation. The meals were decent, the entertainment was well rounded, the aircraft was clean, the seats were wider and had greater leg room, the flight attendants were responsive and trained, and the on ground support was very helpful. I don't have anything negative to say about China Air and I have crossed the Pacific on thief airline three times now."
Cons: "Their web interface for miles account and general information needs a great deal of attention. I would love tosee them make improvements to their web and smart phone applications because they detract from the great service that they providein Air."

Pros: "The flight was fast. Seating super tight. Food was mediocre. But because flight was fast, didn't have to suffer tight economy seating for more than 11 hours."
Pros: "I've been taking CI to Taiwan since I was a little kid. My flight to Seoul via Taipei was a bit uncomfortable bc the flight was fully packed and even though I had an aisle seat, the person sitting in the middle was hogging up all my space . Once I landed in Taipei and went on next flight to my destination at Seoul, that flight was much more comfortable and less people. On my return direct flight from Taipei to JFK seats were comfy and service is always attentive. I enjoy taking china airlines and can always rely on their service and clean planes"

Had a technical malfunction twice which caused me to miss my 7am connecting flight by 2 mins. The next plane didn't even bother to wear for 2 mins even if they caused the delay. They gave a 250NT lunch voucher and asked to what til the next flight in the afternoon. That was the longest flight I experienced coming from New York."

Cons: "Seats were very narrow, even for economy class. The food on this flight was mediocre. I don't expect much in this class, but I did not find the meals very tasty."
Pros: "I liked most of the crew. They were courteous and attentive. They were also very helpful in getting passengers situated and seated. I also like that when I had an issue with a crew member a manager and her boss both came to talk to me about what happened and offered apologies. They handled the situation with respect and class."
Cons: "There were two things I didn't like. First was that my on board entertainment set top was not working and I had to change seats. Once in a new seat though I was good and comfortable until a crew member had issues with my placement in an empty row that he wanted to use later in the flight to take a nap. What he did next was not nice, lacked communication and almost ruined the long flight for me. If it wasn't for the rest of the crew being great and his managers apologizing and listening to the full complaint I would probably have decided never to take China airlines again. Will I fly China airlines again? Yes, I will."
