If you're giving away free checked bags at the counter anyways, there can't be that big of a difference is there? And offering one free checked bag would be a great promo."

He was at his hotel in Boston when the announcement was made. JetBlue offered only free water for the delay. Water which was free anyway. At least they didn't drag a passenger from their seat to accommodate the JetBlue employee. That's about the nicest thing I can say."

Then we were told we could get a Copa voucher to use for other Copa flights for having to cancel our booking and rebook with another airline as a 48 hour change to our flight made flying with Copa not doable for us. But the website kept telling us we had a voucher that was sent to our email but despite repeated attempts it never came through. And spent hours trying to get through to someone on the phone to sort it out with no success ever getting through. My advice. NEVER EVER FLY WITH COPA."

We did not see a regular "high placed" sign for Copa which caused us to make two circuits until we saw the street side sigm which is in a nondescript area and easy to miss. My entertainment touch screen was not responsive and sticky. It froze twice. However after bringing it to the attention of the crew, they did make the effort of resetting it. In this regard I highly commend the very tall FA who was a credit to his profession. It still had problems but did work somewhat. I will add that in all my prior experiences in which this problem occurs the FA's are too busy, or forget to reset the entertainment system, so I happy that he did. The interior did not seemed to be very clean there were food stains on the pull out tray and no in flight magazine in my seat pocket. the cabin crew was nice, youngish but did not have enough personality to tell off passengers doing things that they shouldn't out of common courtesy like the passenger seated next to me playing Chinese language videos out loud on his i phone. The same group spent a lot of time burping and then spending an inordinate length of time picking their teeth with wooden toothpicks which did not make for a pleasant scene. I almost lost my appetite seeing which what vigor they went at it, what were they expecting to find? They would then spit the residue in the air making me a bit nauseous. The food was dire especially the two melted cheese/beef/chicken sandwiches served near the last third of the trip. The main lunch ravioli meal served earlier was not bad. The bottom line is that the flight was uneventful with nothing to note, but there is definite room for improvement."

When we asked questions they pretended like they didn’t hear us. By the time we got to the hotel we barely had enough time to sleep so we didn’t bother with the free dinner. They absolutely ruined our vacation. I’ve been using Kayak for years. Never again. This is beyond bad customer service; this is a total lack of empathy."

The exit tax to leave Costa Rica was included in our ticket, which I was not aware of until I was leaving the country. (nice surprise). Over all, most other airline companies in the USA have made changes that improve their bottom line, but they have completely ruined any favorable aspect of traveling with their airline (American Airlines, Frontier, Southwest, Delta, etc). Copa has done a great job of providing great service and cost for travelers. Please do not change your business strategy by removing some of the above mentioned benefits I enjoyed in order to improve your profit margin. It is refreshing to know there are still air carriers out there that retain the service that is hoped for by most travelers. Also, Roxana and her entire flight crew were outstanding. Thank you , I will fly with you anytime I have the chance."

Pros: "The electricity went out at the airport in Panama which caused cancellations and delays. Copa did not handle the situation well. They did not put extra staff to deal with all the people who missed their flights. It was a total mess. I had to wait hours to get a new flight."

Cons: "The flight was overbooked from Panama to Lima, so they leaved us for another day, and we missed the flight from Lima to Cuzco as well as the tour of tomorrrow morning to Machu Pichu, more than 1200 dollars of lost and for sure no responsability from Copa."

Pros: "My flight was delayed, causing a lot of stress at the terminal because many people had connecting flights. The Copa staff could not have been more helpful. Copa even put me up for the night at a Sheraton in Panama City when I missed my connection, provided free transportation to and from the airport, and gave me a free dinner voucher. All in all, a well handled experience in the face of disaster."

Pros: "I loved the drink service. Star Alliance aircraft continue to impress me with their cleanliness and maintenance. The crew service is wonderful. I thought boarding was standard, compared to other airlines. The in flight entertainment was a positive surprise."
Cons: "If you stick to your part of the Panama City terminal, there may be VERY limited food options. For me the only food option in the area was a tiny fried chicken stand."

Arriving in Panama we flew to costa Rica again checked my passport and stamped my ticket "documents ok" ... Now almost 11 hours later we arrive in Costa Rica and because my passport was ripped they wouldn't let me in the country and sent me back. Why your airlines couldn't have told me this before I got all the way to Costa Rica and passed two check points I don't know. So you guys said you would send us to Puerto Rico but I would have to by my own plane ticket home... Very disappointed in your airline. And to top it off my boyfriend and I had very expensive osprey packs we were traveling with .. We used a copa plastic bag to wrap them up in Vegas so the strings would not get caught .. When we received our packs in Puerto Rico YOUR employees had taken the bags off and cut my boyfriends 300 dollar bag! I will never fly again with your airline."
Flight was delayed by one hour, then another 1/2 hour then cancelled and changed till the next day. We were not allowed to get our luggage & put up in a dirty hotel. I had cockroaches in the bathroom. When I finally arrived home…i noticed the airline had damaged the zipper on my suitcase. An awful awful trip thanks to American Airlines.

If you serve customers from all walks of life including Hindus, vegetarians, Islam, Judaism, it should be expected that the flight attendant know if that is turkey or ham. Another thing is that there was no final check by the flight attendant. We landed with tray tables down, seats recline, and people were still on their laptops."

It was boarding time and no agent was at the gate. 10 minutes past boarding time the screen shows that the flight is delayed 25 minutes... but wait, there is still no plane at the gate! After 45 minutes the plane arrived, again had to be "cleaned" and prepared for flight back to SF. Customers were told the flight was delayed because Air Traffic Control issues in SF, but there was no plane in sight... Again I felt we were being lied to. The plane was filthy with garbage everywhere still. I will never fly American Airlines by choice!"

I had a flight delay that forced me to reschedule to a flight the following morning and caused me to pay for an overnight at a hotel; none of the staff seemed to care whatsoever about their customers' travel plans or experience, giving us little to no information up to the point of canceling our flight, and doing even less to accommodate when plans were foiled. I honestly am waiting for a refund at this point. Terrible trip with American Airlines."
