Cons: "Curbside needs to stop chasing cash tips and do their jobs. If they focused on that tips would be easy to come by. The curbside attendant that took my bag didn’t even bother to check my id. He asked me my name and asked where my destination was. I told him Cincinnati as a layover then LaGuardia where he said that was wrong. He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips."

I was promised my luggage on the same day,but I didn't get it until 11:30pm that night from a 2:40pm flight. I had to go out and spend money on toiletries,night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone."

To make things worse, the entertainment screen was broken. It did not respond to touches. More of an ordeal than entertainment. To top it all, the current flight info (e.g. time at departure & destination, flight duration) was all wrong. Not a pleasant experience."

Honestly, if the delay is due to 'maintenance' for an incoming plane that has not left its originating destination, why quote any time at all? The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually."

I thought I had bought my ticket thru delta and turns out is was with aeromexico, delta has no weight limit on carry on luggage and aeromexico does, i received an email from delta airlines for me to check in so i look at their luggage policy on carry on and when i arrived at the airport i had to go to aeromexico counter to check in one luggage and turns out i also had to pay for my carry on luggage becouse it exceded aeromexico carry on weight policy which i didn’t fully agree but ended up paying anyways"

When we went to pick up the bags, one (both bags were brand new for this trip) was virtually destroyed, with multiple tears and rips - damage on each of the 6 sides of the bag. The Aeromexico woman insisted they have no liability and refused our claim for the damaged bag. Extremely poor service."

I contacted aeromexico for a refund and was told to email my complaint to 2 separate email addresses for a refund. I did as instructed and but did not receive a reply. I disputes the charges with my bank and they immediately paid me back. Aeromexico, you are a joke and I hope your sceem to fraud people out of their money comes to surface soon."

This is not fair for the price paid for flights. Cons: "The staff was rude. Never in my life have I been treated this disrespectful. I felt very offended by the staffs attitude and actions to the point I felt discriminated because of my religion. Yearly my church flys with Aeromexico to Mexico and I've never had a problem but this year I felt very targeted . As I was checking in they told me that my luggage was 2 pounds over the weight they direct us to have it so the employee told us to go and take some items out , we moved from the line and he 'shooed' us away saying "no go all the way back" we did and when we tried to go back to check in another employee cut me off from going in line and told us she didn't care for what I had to say and to return to the back of the line. At this point I was already worked up from their behavior and my mother whom was traveling with me tried to calm me down. As we get to the from of the line the SAME guy who 'shooed' us had a customer who had an over weight luggage , BUT let him take out item right there and then with his luggage on the scale . Well my mother got upset because we didn't know what it consisted of to have that privilege. We get attended by the employee who cut me off and my luggage was still 1 pound over the weight limit and she instructed us to get out and take items out , we expressed to her that it wasn't fair how other people who were flying got the advantage of just doing it there and we asked why . She denied ever doing that and said to go with the employee who did that because she refused to attend us . We asked another employee if we could speak to a supervisor and we were being persisted but she would ignore us and walk away from us . We couldn't believe how badly they were treating us. So we then went on to go with the employee who 'shooed' my mother and I and asked him why did he give special privileges to other people flying and was discriminated us , he literally told us "what discrimination? You guys need to relax. What do you want? Do you want me to attend you or what? I have other people waiting" he checked us in and NEVER saw or spoke to a supervisor . We will def never be flying with them again ."

I saw disable passenger without any attendance when wheelchair was requested.They don't have any idea that you are part of a business industry with many competitors. I will never recommend in my community to use your services. You are the worse of the third world."

You removed a youth passenger without any strong and fair reason, because he was unlucky this day: He was accommodated together with 2 members of a middle east family that was logically to be filled by the 3. he touch friendly the kid near him and his father that was in different place??? react negative against this normal gesture of the youth passenger. Why you didn't put the entire family together from the beginning?"

Flight was delayed by one hour, then another 1/2 hour then cancelled and changed till the next day. We were not allowed to get our luggage & put up in a dirty hotel. I had cockroaches in the bathroom. When I finally arrived home…i noticed the airline had damaged the zipper on my suitcase. An awful awful trip thanks to American Airlines.

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

If you serve customers from all walks of life including Hindus, vegetarians, Islam, Judaism, it should be expected that the flight attendant know if that is turkey or ham. Another thing is that there was no final check by the flight attendant. We landed with tray tables down, seats recline, and people were still on their laptops."

Cons: "This flight was five hours late. there was an exchange of four planes before United could provide one that did not need maintenance. When it was time to board there was a last minute gate change to a different terminal. Surely United must have known of this hours in advance."
Cons: "We sat on the plane for 2 hours at the gate to find out that the dispatcher did not have paperwork for the flight and hence we could not leave yet. We were not told of all of the issues and were kept sitting on the plane idle for 2 hours before we had to deplane and wait even more."

Cons: "Missed our flight from Brussels to Zurich. United said we were booked on next flight six hours later. Gave us vouchers and that was it. Went to check in and the carrier said sorry you can’t board United did not book you. The voucher just has prior info and this flight time. So we missed getting on that flight 3 total hours on the phone with United and they did nothing but put us on hold. Thank you to Brussels air who finally after many years and frustration helped us so we could leave. More than 10 hours later than we should have. Horrible experience and we lost a day of vacation and pre paid plans for the evening I will never use kayak again for international flights. As that was part of the problem per United (probably BS but won’t ever risk it again) and will never use United airlines again as their customer service and lack of caring showed that companies true colors. I hope the rest of this dream vacation is better than this nightmare was."

We boarded, waiting 30 minutes on the plane, they told us to get off because there were computer issues. Why wasn't that checked before everybody was boarded? Once we got on the plane we had to wait another 30 minutes for the crew to get someone's luggage from under the plane. Why wasn't that done while the computer was getting fixed? I didn't get to Denver until 1040am missed my flight and didn't get to get on my connection until 500pm. In the meantime I called to get on a different flight at 1, but the guy on the phone didn't actually book me a seat. The gate people weren't very nice."

Nothing is complimentary (not even soft drinks or a bag or pretzels,) drinks are super expensive, there is no hanging options for your suits/dress (so don't bother to dry clean before you come) and there is no entertainment options at all. Also, when picking your seats do not pick the seats with only two thinking that you will have a window seat next to your travel partner- instead the third seat by the window is where you will be sitting with the flight attendant. Overall, it was the worst flight experience of my life."

We received no compensation for their mistakes."

They would not give us a new flight. They would not give us food vouchers. No car rentals. No housing. We were stranded in a foreign country for 12 extra hours with NOTHING. On top of that they were rude, unhelpful, and after the 12 hour delay, DELAYED THE FLIGHT AGAIN. They would not help with anything. They simply blamed the "ash" that apparently didn't affect any other airline but Spirit. Never ever using them again."
Cons: "My flight to Costa Rica was delayed over four hours due to a computer panel malfunction. Spirit "compensated" us passengers with a $50 certificate which was good only on another Spirit flight that you had to book within 60 days, and a meal voucher which only came after we had waited so long that we had eaten anyway. In my opinion, they wanted to appear as if they were trying to do something for us while actually giving us nothing of any practical value. My return flight to Fort Lauderdale was scheduled to depart at 12:30 PM. We arrived at the airport and waited over an hour in line to be told that the flight had been delayed until midnight due to a volcanic eruption. The only information they would give us was that we were supposed to come back at 9:30 PM to see if the flight would be departing. They did not offer us any amenities or any other options other than to sit in the airport for 12 hours and wait. At our own expense, my mother and I went and got a hotel room so we could at least be comfortable. We returned as instructed at 9:30 PM, and there were no Spirit airlines employees at the airport. They did not show up until 10:30 PM. We waited another hour in line, learned that our flight was delayed yet again, and basically sat in the terminal until we were finally allowed to board at 2 AM. Now I understand that a volcanic eruption is completely beyond anyone's control, however Spirit appeared to be the only airline operating out of this airport who could not figure out some sort of an alternative to accommodate its passengers. When we came back as instructed at 9:30 PM, we were the only passengers in the entire airport. Yes, the entire airport was empty except for us, and a few security personnel. And Spirit airlines did not even bother to show up until an hour later. Now, if this lengthy delay was really due to volcanic conditions, why did every other airline operating out of that airport figure out a solution? You would think that after such unpleasant experience, the airline would at least offer you some free snacks? Well, you would be wrong. They would not even offer us so much as a bag of peanuts or a cup of water for free. Let me also say that when my mother and I arrived at the hotel we had reserved so that we could wait more comfortably, we explained the situation to the girl at the check-in counter and she asked what airline we were flying. When we told her, she rolled her eyes and gave us a look that said "oh, them again!" According to her, this kind of thing happened twice a week on a regular basis I already had a very low opinion of spirit airlines because of their mercenary pricing tactics. They post a low fare to get you to buy a ticket with them, then they hit you with all kinds of ridiculous fees to make up the difference. For an airline ticket that was less than $400, we had to pay nearly $110 in extra baggage checking and seat selection fees. Then they switched our seats anyway."

Después de que el vuelo se atrasara más de 4 horas, nunca logré entender porque fue que nos atrasamos. Nos decían que íbamos a hacer una cosa y hacían otra. Pasamos de ilusiones y luego desilusiones durante horas. Amo viajar y nunca en mi vida me había sentido tan estresado como viajando con Spirit Airlines. No solo fue el atraso del vuelo, sino que también salíamos a las 12:45pm de San José, hora a la que usualmente creo que todos almorzamos, y no se les ocurrió darnos de comer sino hasta las 6:00pm (hora de Costa Rica) y yo no se si según ellos por darnos una latita de Pringles y un vaso de Coca Cola ya se nos iba a olvidar el terrible atraso que tuvimos. Cuando llegué al aeropuerto de Miami noté que habían roto una rueda de mi maleta y se lo dije a una empleada de Spirit Arilines que no sabía que hacer así que recurrió a otra y lo que me dijeron fue que eso no era problema de ellas porque probablemente había sucedido en Costa Rica y luego se fueron. Ahora mismo estaba tratando de hacer el Check In para mi vuelo de regreso y nunca había sido tan complicado hacer un Check In, ni siquiera entiendo porque no puedo hacerlo. Entro a la pagina de preguntas y soporte al cliente de Spirit Airlines y para responder a la pregunta de COMO hacerlo, lo único que saben decir son los beneficios que tiene, beneficios a los cuales me ENCANTARÍA tener si tan solo en su pagina dijeran COMO se hace. He pagado casi $100 en equipaje solo porque nunca nadie me dijo que si lo pagaba como un mes antes iba a salir más barato, que por cierto su pagina de internet es de lo PEOR que he visto, porque después de pagar mi maleta para ir de regreso, ni siquiera me decía si se había cargado bien a mi tarjeta o me daban una factura, simplemente volví al sitio para administrar mi viaje y ahora solo estoy rezando para que cuando llegue al aeropuerto en serio el pago se haya realizado correctamente. En fin, voy a tener que seguir viajando muy seguido a los Estados Unidos desde Costa Rica y puedo jurarles que NUNCA voy a volver a viajar con Spirit Airlines."
