Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)

Crowded seating.

While happy to have pilots concerned about my safety, it was frustrating to suffer thru 2 different mechanical delays. The first one was a missing rivet - which turned out to be so bad they had to put Us in a different plane. Then, that plane developed some mechanical/software issues as we were taxing. My 3-hour flight turned into a +5.5 HR endeavor. When you are on 2 broken planes in a row with the same airline you start to to wonder about how well they are maintaining their equipment. I feel like I deserve more than a "sorry" for the use of my extra time, but no credit or flight certificate was forthcoming.

The gate agent helped half a dozen people (not including those described below) understand they were boarding with the wrong group.

Fully one-quarter of the passengers boarded as disability or premium. This included a party of eight that boarded with one person in a wheelchair because "We're all together."

Arrived twenty minutes late. AA refused to accept responsibility for this and compensate me, even though my transportation had departed without me as a result of their tardiness.

Seats, video and overall comfort are all very nice on the new 900's.

I arrived at my destination

AA changed my flight plans which resulted in a 4.5 hour layover in Philly. The gates were filthy, there is not much selection for in-flight food and nothing for entertainment. I couldn't even find an outlet that worked at the gate.

Row 19 on a 737ER is great for room, as long as you don't plan on reclining (I rarely do in a daytime flight)

A little overcautious regarding seating the cabin crew because of possible turbulence, but better safe than sorry, I suppose. However, it is a common occurrence on this particular leg, so don't board knowing you might need to take a "break" before you get to Atlanta.

Well after going through a terrible storm to get to the airport we were given a opportunity to up grade to First Class for a very reasonable rate. That was great.
