Pros: the pilot gave regular updates due to the delay. he was audible just as frustrated as passengers. but it was out of his control and his updates were appreciated. they let us off the plan instead of forcing to stay on for over 2 hours. offered free in flight entertainment for the inconvenience of the delay. it was a nice gesture.
Cons: the choice of snacks. the delay the flight was over booked.
Cons: could not make it in time. Then we got on plane and pilot said it was an electrical problem on the flight but the generators were now up and at em again. Very hair raising ride for me - got in at 2:30 am with another hour to drive home - and I lost a LOT of confidence which I have always had in Jet Blue. I hope this is not the future we can expect with you
Pros: I've never flown spirit before, and knowing they are a no frills flight, I was sketical that I would have a positive experience. the plane was comfortable and clean, the crew was super friendly, and the price can't be beat!. I wish I could say the same things about my United flight back home. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with Spriit and would totally fly with them again.
Cons: They need to invest in a mobile app. Not having one makes me question how serious they are about the customers.
Cons: A 3-hour weather delay was discouraging because it happened incrementally over 7 or 8 different announcements--each time getting later. One or two would have been reasonable. The seats are tiny and there isn't really enough leg room even for me at just 5'5" tall.
Pros: I liked the low ticket price
Cons: Spirit's model is "No frills" which means you have to pay additional $$ for EVERYTHING besides your seat: carry on, checked baggage, food, drinks, etc etc. Someone even had to pay extra to print their boarding pass at the counter (they missed that you have to use the kiosks first). If you are going to actually benefit from low ticket prices you have to be traveling really light and maybe sure you pay for your luggage in advance online. Lines were long, service was slow, and they lost my luggage and never called me when it was finally found. Then they were saying i had to pay to get it delivered, until i proved that i hadn't checked in late to my flight (thankfully my kiosk check-in time was in their system). All around negative experience.
Pros: People were nice- not their fault they are screwing your clients over-
Cons: Okay, it took me nine hours to get out of Boston on spirit . Return flight, I had no trouble , but I was so scared of getting bad news again, I started shaking at check in, then crying, not my usual travel behavio. I did not and do not want to use your two free vouchers- but had zero choice in choosing to do that - if I refused to volunteer , I would not be helped by spirit to fly to Chicago at all that day. Some choice. So, basically I paid spirit 200$ to poke a stick in my eye, and because I "volunteered ", spirit has generously agreed to poke a stick in my eye, two more times!! for free!!!!- (door for flight already closed when I volunteered- seriously , volunteered??) I was refused a seat on a flight when I was a confirmed ticket holder- there was no volunteering, call it what you will. Fool me once, shame on you . Fool me twice , shame on me. Just booked Rt to Santo Domingo - with jet blue. Thanks for nothing , Spirit.
