Pros: "I enjoyed the selection of food and how it was mostly Japanese style. And the drink selection is very good."
Cons: "It is a problem of flying economy, but our seat space was a little tight. I would have enjoyed a broader selection of movies as well."
Cons: "Food was really unpleasant and entertainment all out of date movies"
Pros: "The crew was fantastic and the food was very nice."
Cons: "It really would have been nice to have a vegetarian option!"
Pros: "One of my favorites airlines! Crew are nice and very helpful. I felt safe and enjoyed my long flight as always. My mom would not agree more. Thank you for your good service!"
Pros: "Enough legroom/more than what you’d find on your standard 4-5 hour flights. The stewardesses were great! They attended to every need with a smile. They did a great job of making sure everyone was comfortable."
Cons: "They need some vegetarian options for meals."
Pros: "Everything about this airline made my flight pleasant. The staff were polite and accommodating"
Pros: "Take off and landing was smooth. Stewardesses were very helpful."
Pros: "Service and the fact that flight was not full provided for a better experience. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The films were new and tv was big! Food was ok."
Pros: "The seat I selected was the first row of regular economy. It had extra legroom and received excellent attention by the staff for drinks. The arline served 3 meals and snacks on the flight. I felt like I was eating the entire trip. :)"
Cons: "The seats were quite narrow. Most of the rows behind had armrests that were able to raise and lower, but due to my seat selection, my row had the stow-away monitors in the armrests. The seats also didn't technically recline. The lower seat cushion merely moved forward, emulating a recline, but the seatback didn't actually move. It was not quite comfortable."
Pros: "The person who checked me in at ORD found me an alternative aisle seat with an unoccupied seat next to me. Great benefit for a 12+ hour flight. Very thoughtful."
Cons: "We left late."
Pros: "The crew was exceptional! They were very friendly and helpful. The food was much better than I expected. The overall experience was great!"
Pros: "The quality of the ground handling is very good and the attitude is friendly! Handling things quickly"
Cons: "Children's meals can be changed a little more, then the amount is a little less!"
Cons: "It was lovely to have a meal but there was no beverage service. Not even water. It may have been because of the strike."
Cons: "The airline went on strike and I have to go through the process of disputing the charges since I had no airplane to board. Really caused a problem since it was a international trip."
Cons: "A better selection of movies and a bit more legroom."
Pros: "The premium economy seat was pretty comfortable, and much better than those I have experienced in economy on other airlines, the food was really very good, the plane was very clean, the crew very professional, take off and arrival were both on time."
Cons: "No complaints."
Pros: "Never heard of Eva air, highly recommend. The plane itself was very comfortable, many amenities provided. Staff was very friendly and helpful."
Pros: "Economy very comfortable. Flight attendants gracious and accomodating. Lots of entertainment options. I dreaded this long flight but it could not have been more pleasant. Even the food was good! We were offered drinks about once an hour which I really appreciate."
Pros: "Courteous crew ever, food was good, service was excellent. On time departure."
Pros: "The 1st class treatment by the flight attendants. And the excellent meals served."
Pros: "Really easy boarding and flight. Great in flight entertainment options."
Pros: "Flight attendants were friendly and thoughtful."
Cons: "Seating is too tight. Hard to believe that in 2019, major airlines still have seats without any electrical or UBS outlets for charging devices."
Pros: "Crew was great."
Cons: "Plane was about 1000 years old and I don’t think I’ve sat in a more uncomfortable seat."
Cons: "I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."
Pros: "Flight crew was great. The plane was half full, so the attendants allowed us to move."
Cons: "Terrible landing in Charlotte. The plane was rattling and had an annoying whistle."
Cons: "British Airways/American Airlines lost/delayed luggage again! Then send an email in the middle of night with a link to schedule home delivery of the luggage that was valid for 4 hours only. It is clearly an attempt to cheat out of their responsibility of home delivery of the luggage that was delayed the second time. Poor, poor service by American Airlines."
Cons: "Flight was delayed for more than 4 hours with little communication from staff as to why, gate was changed to a gate across the airport."
Cons: "Three + hour delay out of ORD, equipment problems. Even though she had a boarding pass, they would not allow wife to board. Some ticketing problem between AA and BA. Finally, they let her on. We were the last to board."
Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."
Pros: "I'm glad they didn't fly an airplane that didn't pass the mechanic's evaluation."
Pros: "We had a very good experience with Air canada and will use Air Canada again."
Pros: "Brand new aircraft"
Cons: "Not gourmet not even fast food. A lot of area for improvement."
Pros: "I was concerned the length of travel. The flight and staff were very enjoyable. The meals were tasty. Will definitely book again."
Pros: "This flight was cancelled; I don't have any remarkably positive comments about it."
Cons: "This flight was delayed for several hours after we had already boarded (due to maintenance, I think), then was unexpectedly cancelled. Air Canada staff did not communicate with us clearly about the cancellation. We asked several staff members for help and some of them simply walked away; seemed like staff did not know what was going on. We over 90 minutes for in-person assistance, only to be directed to a telephone to re-book our flight. We missed an entire day of our trip to Japan. I'm very disappointed in my experience flying Air Canada."
Pros: "The pilot seemed good and the staff on the plane were nice overall"
Cons: "Customer service from the group staff that checked us in was horrendous... (Lisa from Chicago ). We were not aware one of us needed eTA to fly through Canada and the agent was so belittling, rude and plane wrong with her information, that if it had not for our smarts, we might have not made it to our destination. I do not spend so much money to fly with an airline, whose agents treat it me like this! She really should be fired for her terrible manners and for giving customers wrong information..the second supervisor we talked to helped us, but the impression we got from the agent was so terrible, that it was hard to feel any good...no food on a flight during lunch hour, seems unfitting."
Pros: "I am sad to say I have little positive things to say about this experience."
Cons: "To begin, our flight was delayed an hour into Toronto. We asked the flight attendant about our connecting flight and they said they would find an answer. It ended up that we landed just as the flight was scheduled to leave. Why they could delay pur flight but would not hold another flight by 20 minutes is very questionable. Then we got to customer service, the rep told us that we could only get on the next flight going out tomorrow at the same time which meant 24 hours lost. Of our vacation- which hotels already booked and tours already booked. When I asked if there was anyway we could get in earlier the service person told me "I should be grateful because some people have had to wait multiple days to get to their destinations." When we finally did board the flight the next day we were not served any food, no snacks, and no drink for the entire overnight flight."
Cons: "My flight was changed and I wasn't informed - I cleerly checked my information beforehand but it would be nice if flights were to change by two hours, to know in advance so arrangements could be made"
Cons: "It was so great we didn't go. Got a refund you retards"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Flight was late from Barcelona to Mintreal by an hour. I needed a wheelchair - didn't show up! Then pulled a muscle trying to get through customs and they barely held my flight to Chicago. Made it, with No Help. Late into Chicago and still no wheelchair. There was no one from whom to get help. Finally a United Airlines employee took pity on me and got a wheelchair to me and got me to the flight - again, just barely. Over 20 hours in the air, no assistance and poor food. I will never fly air canada again - ever. Not worth the savings. I've spent an entire week recovering and spent the savings on physical therapy due to the damage to my legs."
Pros: "they had many movies. I enjoyed watching two of them."
Cons: "Food was just okay."
Pros: "The crew was great."
Cons: "On our way to Japan, the flight didn't wait for us though we were on the ground. We had 4 h lay over and missed it by 20 min which was by their system confusion. We missed our christmas plan and business prep time in Japan. Then on our way back, the plane turned around to the gate to pick up customers causing 40min delay. Made us furious. They gave us $200 credit each for our missing flight but we think we deserve more."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "Food, not overselling the flight, age of plane, bathroom cleanliness"
Cons: "Flight left 2 hours late and we sat in plane whole time. Crew did nothing to make the wait better. Horrible experience."
Cons: "The the business class seat outlet is more comparable to premium economy. Never seen 2,4,2 in a business class.."
Pros: "I got to Taipei in 1 piece"
Cons: "Just can’t beat Asian or mid western carriers for courtesy"
Pros: "Flight attendants were absolutely amazing!!!!! They made the trip very enjoyable!"
Cons: "Food!"
Pros: "This United flight was really an embarrassment when it comes to international flights for many reasons."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and ensured I got what I needed even though I slept through most of the flight."
Pros: "Timeliness of boarding and flight."
Cons: "I was disappointed to fly United instead of ANA. I couldn’t check in online and didn’t know the details of the flight. I went to Terminal 5 in O’Hare and had to rush to Terminal 1. At ANA counter they told me the flight was operated by United. Not a pleasant start of my travel experience."
Cons: "United Business class to Tokyo was comparable to traveling on Premium Economy on other Star Alliance airlines. Disappointing."
