I lost a whole day I had planned in Miami, arrived at 2:30AM when nobody could pick me up. Avianca didn't give me a voucher for food or transportation or even access to VIP lounges in Lima. I will never fly Avianca."

This is one of the poorer first class seats in the industry. The "lie flat" seat is just that, a lie. It is pitched at an angle, though not as steep as some. Foot cubby is narrow and constrictive, bordering on claustrophobic."

Cons: "My flight to Lima was delayed therefore I would miss the connecting flight to LAX. I learned of the delay by overhearing a conversation the employee was having with another passenger. No announcement was made, no options were presented to help the passengers with connection find a solution until we started demanding a solution. This ordeal started at 9pm and we did not make it out of the airport till 1:50am to a hotel for a 6am pickup back to the airport to start the process all over again."

Cons: "Normally, international-domestic transfers are pretty difficult to coordinate. This particular one (Bogota>Miami, Miami>San Francisco) seemed particularly so. On top of being just enough time to wait for our bags, drop them off with the next airline, walk across the airport, enter security (which went exceedingly slowly), we had just enough time to get to the gate before boarding. This is why I gave a lower rating."

I showed this to Latan representative Angel Pupulin in Miami who's first statement was, "Latan is not responsible." He was rude and initially refused to even fill out a damaged bag report. I explained that I would call my credit card company and put a non-authorization on $2500 worth of tickets. He continued to speak to me in Spanish although I told him, " No habla Espanol." He spoke English but was trying to jerk me around in every way possible. This is not going to be ignored! One employee screwed up all the positives of multiple flights with Latan. I will avoid flying Latan in the future and will not recommend Latan to others."

Cons: "I had called previously to verify that Qantas and Lan were partners and although I had purchased separate tickets (Qantas from LAX to SYD and LAN from SYD to CHC), that i would have no checked luggage and the informed to go straight to the gate. When I arrived in SYD i did and was there well in advance. They wouldn't let me on the flight and I have no idea why."

After waiting in line to board they told us they didn't know when we would take off and would have more information in an hour. One hour became two hours and eventually three hours. I asked the cause for the delay and they did not give me an answer. We were in the boarding area with no food, water, wifi or electrical outlets. There was no room to sit, many people sat on the floor or had to stand. There was absolutely no communication. It was a terrible experience."

It was extremely disappointing but not shocking with all the scandals that have occurred this year with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying with them."

Cons: "90 minutes sitting on the cramped plane after boarding because of a maintenance issue."

Pros: "Seats, food was okay, personal tv was very nice and complementary wine was a plus!"
Cons: "Food could be improved. Sleep masks would be awesome as well."

Cons: "I was supposed to be in stand by and the screen continue showing I could go to the counter and get a seat and I have to wait till the end so that I was going to be given a middle seat. I said forget about it, to pay 75 dlls for a change of ticket and you make me wait till the end to give me seat u want, forget it, I know this is stand by ticket but I dont like the attitude of the people, they dont help you at all really bad service you should learn from other airlines giving at least if you are delayed an apology and sometimes miles reward, not just food... Thanks for the SERVICE (i dont flight with you no more, even though cheap flights, but cheap things are expensive)"

Cons: "Was asked to keep moving to another check in line. By the time we got to an open kiosk it was too late and the machine said we could no longer check our bags! Just Awful"

Pros: "Ecerything from the boarding to the seating assignment"
Cons: "Just have to be organize as they do the boarding process"

Pros: "One of the smoothest flights and landings ever."
Cons: "Each seat doesn't have its own screen. Plane feels older than JetBlue by a lot. First checked bag is not free like JetBlue. WiFi is another additional charge. Overall cost was significantly higher than JetBlue for less value."

Pros: "I purchased extra leg room -- very spacious"
Cons: "Long weather delay -- over three hours."

Pros: "I did not like anything about the flight to be honest. Oh wait you did have cool club lights that were blue that tried to distract me from the fact that I had to take an American airlines flight."
Cons: "Holy moly. You know if you stopped charging extra money for checked baggage you wouldn't have a ridiculously annoying amount of customers with too many bags for overhead storage. Then you wouldn't have to threaten your customers to store their small bags under the seat. Then I would have room for my feet under the seat. When I would have been comfortable. I also wouldn't have to annoy my neighbor with trying to move and get comfortable. But instead the exact opposite happened and I'm offended you guys have America anywhere near your name."

Pros: "Paid for extra leg room...otherwise everything went very smoothly.."

Pros: "The flight was boarded well in advance of takeoff, which was a pleasant surprise. The short flight was smooth and uneventful. I enjoyed a free movie, and then we were back on the ground."

Cons: "We were delayed upon landing but I realize the circumstances were beyond the crews control so no point fretting. Still disappointing nonetheless."

Cons: "Seats in economy are too narrow. When the person in front of me reclined his seat, I couldn't see the video screen. Food was bad."

Cons: "Barely made my flight because my connection was late and I got to the plane right as they were about to give up my seat I was seated next to an obese gentlemen whose body was hanging into my seat and I had to spend 3 hours completely uncomfortable because the plane was completely full. Worst plane ride ever"

Pros: "The pilot acknowledged we had to wait an extra 25 min which he made up by stepping on it .... Or giving it more juice I guess . The good thing is even though we boarded late we arrived on time but no gates where available."

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

Cons: "Boarded 3 timres and flight delayed 5 hours"

Pros: "Crew was very polite and helpful"
Cons: "They switched gate 15 mins before boarding and then delayed boarding by 30 minutes. Also were delayed in getting off plane."

Pros: "Offered food."
Cons: "Communication from kayak/American Airlines was delayed, inaccurate and slow about the massive delay in the flight. Spent almost my whole day at the airport. Had to change my flight; the new one was also delayed by 2 hours."
