Cons: "The Delta flight leaving Cleveland was a hour and a half late so we could not make our connection to get home and had to overnight in Minneapolis. This is the fourth time in six flights For Delta. I think the Kayak booking algorithm needs to allow more time between connecting flights."

Even the pilots greeted the passengers as they exited. All the other airlines just want my money, they want to cram me into smaller and smaller spaces and want me to sit there and shut up so they don't have to interact with me. I will fly Delta every chance I get, even if I have to pay more money."

We are then asked to check our bag, and are forced to put our 1 bag between our legs, whole many people stored two overhead. Flight was delayed a few minutes and time was not made up in air. Delta changed a few of our flights before we were even off the plane, while other passengers were allowed to keep their original flight (originally we all had the same connecting flight). Looks to me like they overbooked and pulled some of us randomly. Also, my checked bag was sent on wrong plane, and sat unattended at next airport for 2 hours."

Tried to check in and check baggage at 9:30am but was turned away saying I could only check in 3 hrs prior to my flight. Came back at 3:00pm to check-in and they could not find my information. An hour later they find out that they cancelled the flight and moved my departure time to 8:25am for that day. They say they emailed 3 times in May but I never got it (I'm a bit crazy about my email staying clean) so they say it might have went in to my spam folder due to they types of emails they send to customers. They only kept repeating that they notified me so there is nothing they could do. I ended up going to Air Canada to get a flight from PHX to RNO the next day. No apology, no help, no hotel for the night...Terrible experience by United. They gave me a customer relations group contact information to follow up with for complaint but since they sent me the 3 emails in May about the change, they have no liability to fix the situation."

Ended up forcing those unlucky souls in the last boarding group off flight with no offer of credit or accommodation. Waited in customer service line for hours, literally longer than it would have taken to take off and arrive at my scheduled destination. United representatives could not find a flight that guaranteed a seat (not on a long standby list) that was even in the same 12 hour period. I spoke with a United supervisor who showed zero empathy or concern with the situation. In the end I arranged for other travel accommodations to drive to my family reunion destination. No refund was issued or offered. I was informed I would have to call United customer service after the date of my previously scheduled return flight to explain my situation. I will personally never fly United again and would recommend the same to anyone. Although for the record, I did receive a single ten dollar airport food voucher for my inconvenience. Inexcusable."

But trying to make our connecting flight was the problem we asked over and over for information on if we were to make our connecting flight and no one seem to be able to give us a relatively fair answer on what we were to do because of the delays. Needless to say we missed our connecting flight in New Jersey they shut the door and said we could not board, that's OK if that was the rules but what to do next was the problem, no one could seemingly help us.We had to walk around to find someone to help us to only be told that we can just get the next flight but we had to go to customer service to get re-ticketed which was making us missed even another flight the lines in customer service were extremely long and they were going extremely slow so I had to jump out of line and go to a gate in which someone help me get re-ticketed to catch the next flight. We were to have someone to meet us in London in which we had no way to connect with them to tell them we were going to be 2 to 3 hours late. Once we got on a flight the plane was clean, the seats were spacious enough for economy and the staff was friendly but coming through New Jersey was not what I would want to do again but I had a flight back coming through. The horror!"

So, if you really want the supposedly "Free" entertainment, you have to pay an outrageous 12.99 to get the plane's wi-fi, then download the app, then view the content. United, I wish you the very best in your unending quest to parallel American Airlines in terribleness. Hopefully, the market will select JetBlue, Virgin and Delta as dominators in the market and you will go out of business. Good day."

At the gate, it was announced "in 15 minutes, we will ask passengers needing help to board", followed immediately by another crew member "we are already boarding all passengers!", then right back to the first crew "we are not boarding yet, we will start boarding in 15 minutes". Confusion! Departure was listed on time, but we really left 40 minutes late."

Cons: "Having to pay to pick your seat, minimum of $12 (suggest that you pick and pay as soon as you book for good seat selection). Checked bags are $30 each way, and you must pay for your normal complimentary items on other airlines. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish. Just pay the extra money for convenience!"

Pros: "Even with very rainy weather in Austin, flight left on time. Crew was very nice on both our flights. Plane was clean. Comfortable enough--about what to expect in this day and age."

They definitely respect the passenger and provide excellent pricing. I traveled without bags or personal item. I understood exactly what I was doing. Going to Vegas for 24 hours for next to nothing."

Cons: "1. carry on baggage - I had one that was in a large soft carrier bag that i carried like a handbag over my right shoulder-- the pleasant male counter officer did not say anything but a younger female personnel said it costs US$45 for a carry on bag, fuss was made by her about how the soft bag height was "slightly higher" than the carryon baggage steel rectangular measurement guide nearby. I removed a couple of important items to put into my check-in luggage, paid US$40 for it. Then I was given the OK. After that, I observed several people with hardcover luggages, carry-ons and backpacks (i.e. 1 carry-on that was definitely a lot larger than mine (with wheels and all) and bulky backpacks) ... By the way, the soft bag fit OK under the seat in front of me as it was a "soft" bag and I had leg room too. This made me feel it is a racial discrimination since I am a foreigner Chinese. It marred my otherwise 1 month enjoyable trip to various parts of USA."

Cons: "I missed my connection because Spirit was an hour delayed on my first flight. I had to wait until the next day to get a connecting flight and Spirit didn’t even cover the hotel. I’ve never had an airline be less helpful (and I fly at least once a month). The small cost savings is NOT worth it."

Went on for ten minutes and made me feel absolutely crazy with an endless ten minutes of ding ding ding. Stop it Spirit airlines!!!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed to the point where I wad going to miss my connection. No acceptable alternative was available so I took my refund. Vacation over!"

Cons: "Seating is too cramped with no legroom. Knees pushing on seat in front."

Cons: "I used the kiosk to check in. But I still had to wait for everyone in line to drop my bag. We waited 14 minutes. Then the lady was talking to her coworker and not us. We spent 30 minutes just checking in before security. Then our seats were suppose to be together. After talking with the guy at the gate to get our seat assignments. We were sitting on opposite sides of the plane. So much for our anniversary trip together. I purchased 2 tickets together. So we would be next to each other. Worse flight experience."

Cons: "Both flights were behind causing me to miss the last ferry and spend $150 extra to take a cab around pudget sound to make it to work on time tomorrow. In Las Vegas after having my personal item on the plane from Cleveland to Las Vegas I was informed by the gate staff that I would have to pay an additional $55 dollars for my bag and that they were giving me a deal because at the gate it should be $65. After arguing with the attenedent and showing both tickets for the same seat on the same aircraft she conceded after finding out I was in the military."

Pros: "Three out of the four flights I had were good, They boarded on time and took off right away, the forth was delayed by 4 hours! I'd consider flying them again...maybe....depending if I considered $$ an issue."
Cons: "I don't like the up-selling...OK, so, this was my first flight on Spirit and they are bare bones, I'll make that decision the next time I book a flight and have to decide between price and bare bones."

Pros: "Boarding was a breeze. The crew was polite. The food was as displayed via the menu. it was a straightforward and simple process. The flight itself arrived safely so that's really the most important part."
Cons: "The chairs on airbus 319 were truly awful for that long of a flight. I flew spirit for the last leg of my trip in an airbus 320, and that was considerably more comfortable. I will know next time to just spend the money and get the big seats if possible (they were reserved by the time I chose my seats)."

Pros: "Told to deplane and get back on THAT SAME PLANE. Went to the restroom, returned - only to find out that that info was WRONG. Gate had changed with a different plane!! MY FLIGHT on a different plane and a different gate - went on without me."

Cons: "They had ruined (delayed our flight) making us miss our connection stranding us in Vegas for over 12 hours and there is no easy way to get reimbursed or ahold of corporate at all."

Cons: "I received an email that my original flight was delayed so I called to get reschedules since it would make me miss my connection. The customer service agents were terrible, suggesting I fly out of Detroit instead of Cleveland (3 hours away) and fly into LA or San Diego INSTEAD of San Francisco (6-8 hours away). I got rebooked onto another flight with 3 connections instead of two. Then once at airport my new flight was delayed about 7 times. Water leaking into the back of the plane and they couldn't figure out why, according to gate agents. Of course I was going to miss my connection (again) and so I had to spend the night in LA on a layover instead of my destination. Gate agents were rude and gossiping about customers. Additionally not allowing overhead bin space, charging customers different prices for checking bags, and not even giving out a glass of water when customers have been waiting 6 hours for a flight then on a 5 hour flight is ridiculous. These people have no idea what customer service is."

Pros: "The best part of the flight was the price."
Cons: "The sets don't recline, no free refreshments, no entertainment or wifi. It was like taking the Greyhound."

Cons: "My flight was delayed 4 hours. The connecting plane then left without several passengers that were headed to Seattle. We were not notified that the flight was leaving without us. The employees were extremely rude and showed no remorse that we missed our flight because of their delay. We were given no options, just told we would have to deal with it. They refused to refund our flight or help with finding us a different flight home. We slept on the floor of the airport until the next day and took a different airline home. I will never fly this airline again. Their service is dispicable."

Cons: "The plane's non-reclining seats were very uncomfortable."

Pros: "hmm, you got me to and from my destination."
Cons: "On both outbound and return flight I could not print my boarding pass. First your website made me change passwords, which was frustrating b/c the process did not work the first few times. Then I could not print my boarding pass, it just said "loading something awesome". It was not awesome to try several times and never print the boarding pass. So I arrive at the airport and they told me the flight was oversold and that I should have printed my boarding pass earlier. This occurred on both departing as well as returning flights."

Pros: "Fairly straight forward and run-of-the-mill as far as air travel goes. Flight itself was fine. Crew was friendly and helpful."
Cons: "They charge for EVERYTHING. Picking your seats, carry on bags, water during the flight, you name it, you will be paying for it. I will be flying other airlines, even if it does cost a bit more overall, for the fact I know exactly what I'm getting for my money. Also, seats DO NOT recline at all. They are about as cheap as you will ever see while flying."

Pros: "The pilots got us in early on both legs of ou journey which really helped us do more."

Pros: "There were no power outlets or wifi. It's also not clear that you save money by buying your carry on ahead of time"

Hope I can plan my trips early enough to get best deal with other airline so I don't have to deal with shady spirit airline in future."

Pros: "The price was low to book, but read on, because it wasn't worth it."
Cons: "Absolutely terrible in all other respects. After delaying the flight for 20 minutes or so (due to "maintenance issues"), the employee came on and said that the flight was cancelled. Not that Spirit would bring a new plane so we could all still fly out. Not that they would be taking a little longer to fix the issue. No, just that it was cancelled. Then, when the herd of people went to the ticket counter to get new flights or refunds, no one was there for about 30 minutes. When they finally arrived, they were unwilling to compensate for my $30 taxi ride. And they were generally unkind and unhelpful. This is unacceptable; I will not book Spirit again. Thank you for your understanding."

Cons: "I think on longer flights drinks (non alcoholic) should be free considering the TSA regulations on liquids. At least one free drink and charge for others. 4 hours is a long time to go without any liquids in a recycled air environment."
