Once we are on airplane, they are still shuffling seats around, so ppl cannot move forward. Just standing there for 10mins waiting for things to settle. Flight attendants did not give us a headphone. (I have a headphone for iPhone X so I could not connect it to their entertaiment system.)"

I am having knee surgery soon and the walk from security to gate 34 LaGuardia would have put me over the top with pain! Cons: "The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !"

Pros: "Flight 1751 Miami to Cleveland 1/11/21. Flight attendants did not enforce mask policy! Family of four sick sneezing, coughing, short of breath. The fathers mask was down the entire flight. Even when the flight attendants picked up the trash. They were informed after the flight they did not comply with CDC, Department of health, and state policies. Their response was “ I made announcements overhead. Didn’t you hear?”. Appalling endangering customers and disregarding Federal, State, and local policies."

Cons: "The connection in Miami didn’t happen - the flights crew on the ORLANDO yo to Miami flight were rude and unhelpful - the plane sat in the tarmac waiting for a gate so flight arrived 15 minutes before planned departure - we inquired as to whether the plane would be held - response- despite having internet access was “ I don’t know “ you’ll have to check with gate agent - oh and by the way the flight attendant was virtually laying on the front seats - she as grossly obese and was so large as he walked the aisles she would hit passengers every time she turned around - we ran to the gate arriving 8 minutes before departure - gate was shut two gate agents were reading social media posts on their phones - we inquired about the flight - the gate agent said “ you missed the flight “ and then sat down and continued on her phone - the other one at least looked up and told us where to them go for assistance - eventually we were assisted and offferd 1 to wait u til the next day to go or to go through London - we took the London option. 1. I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. - they should be fired."

Cons: "the flight was delayed 5 hours due to maintenance. The captain had to finally, after several hours, come to the boarding area to inform all of us that there was problem that was not communicated correctly so we then had to wait an additional 2.5 hours more on top of the original 2.5 hour delay for the two certified mechanics on St. Croix to attest that the plane could fly. No one asked them to come earlier, so we waited for pretty much five (5) hours. We were promised meals and hotel in Miami. the Miami American Airlines service desk told us, sorry, there's so many people, we could not be accommodated. This is outrageous, and I want my money back. I paid for 4 people on that flight and we were treated horribly. On top of that....Cheapoair, representative from whom I bought the tickets, sold me tickets without my understanding that we only had 41 minutes to get off the original flight from Christiansted find the next flight and board it. We never would have made it. Final point, the Cheapoair guy who sold me the tickets charged me about 500 dollars more than what he said the cost was. He quoted and said "all in" 1150 per ticket (I bought 4 tickets). He then charged me nearly 5300 Again this is outrageous and a complete sham. I demand to be compensated for this."

Pros: "I flew business class for this trip and loved the leg room!! Having frequently flown coach class on these overseas flights, I have a hard time folding my long legs into the cramped seats and arriving rested and in good humor. I can say unequivocally that the flight attendants give you much more personalized attention in business class. I didn't have to, but I preordered my meals and that info was registered, and that way I got what I wanted. I also made use of the Admirals Clubs during layovers."

Cons: "I take this flight quite a lot. These comments are for this flight (MIA/MSP) - but not necessarily only for this exact flight that I took on 10/1. To be clear - the crew says "this is not AA", it is Republic Airlines". Well, they must think of themselves very poorly. Their food in first class is always changing - oh, I meant only the names for the same exact meal change. "Grilled Chicken with Couscous", "Grilled Chicken with Risotto", etc.. - all cold meals as they do not have an oven/microwave? on the plane. They are charging first class international prices for economy domestic service. For this amount of money, they should have better meals and a more modern airplane. The first class is always freezing (even in summer) while the rear cabin where the crew stays when not working, is hot. So if they make the first class happy with the correct temperature, they cook in the back. I have also observed more people than usual coughing and getting colds - both ways - than any of the other flights I take regularly (over 115,000 miles on AA this year). I would suggest that AA make it clear that Republic must offer better service to their customers - especially for the large airfares they are receiving."

Cons: "Going the food was so ordinary and right after dinner crew kinda disappeared, got to get everything for yourself, even remove glasses with liquid during turbulence. Booked with BA but it was operated by AA. Never again, Coming back the food was better but was told they were out of fish, my husband on the other side of me was told they were out of chicken. when questioned, got a dumb answer. ran out of wine (red&White) Spain & France on a day flight & told us they have no control. Service sucks, except 1 nice fellow, who apologized. 6 bottles for 36 passengers. 1 crew had cold towel around his neck sitting, 1 doing crossword so we had to help ourselves. 1 crew saw something in the plane & screamed so hard woke up a sleeping pilot. 1 crew slept for 2 hrs and 1 watch TV for 1 hrs. NEVER VERY, IF I CAN AVOID IT, WILL I TRAVEL WITH AA. They own a lot of us more than an apology."

Pros: "The plane was not busy so services took about 5 minutes, everyone had 2 seats minimum and generally quiet. Had it been busy, it would have been different in that seats were not very wide, aisles very small, if the seat in front reclines and you don't, you can't see your screen and not a lot of space in general."
Cons: "If you want to select your seat, be prepared to pay £175 per flight. This is ridiculous! Second meal was a very bare bbq beef pie or sweet potato pie... On their own with nothing else and it arrived 30 minutes before we landed so very rushed. On a 9.5hr flight the 2nd meal needed to be an actual meal and come sooner than it did."

Cons: "AA cancel flights recurringly and has no ability to help their customers. Got I flight cancelled yesterday, and was move to another flight later (10:30pm) that supposed to leave ate (3:30pm). After several delays, they started boarding us at 1:00am, but the boarding process so messy and confuse, the plane couldn’t took off before 1:40 by 1 minute and they had to cancel the flight with 200 people inside the plane. An absurd! Flight was rescheduled to today at 10am and obviously took off 1h delayed because AA can't organize simple things to expedite the boarding process."

Pros: "I had to buy new clothes after lost bag and since bag had been lost twice during my trip, I was reluctant to check the bag. It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them."

Cons: "The original booked flight was about 12 hours before the rebooked flight. We got up at about 2:00 am to leave for the airport at 3:30 am for a 6:30 am flight. We were all packed and booked our ride and shuttinlpg down the computer at the last minute when we noticed an mail after midnight telling us the flight was cancelled. We called and were told there was nothing they could do, due to connections and this was entirely their fault. Approximately 12 hours later we took a “red eye” thus arriving a day late for our hotel and car reservations. We were charged baggage fees and not sure if our priority boarding will be refunded."

Pros: "On time. Was able to sleep through much of what was likely an annoying flight because there was no personal entertainment--the tiny screens overhead would have been impossible to see and they were showing a movie that was lame. It seemed anachronistic."
Cons: "At the Lima gate they made each passenger open their carryon and submit to a secondary inspection to confiscate all water we bought past security. No warning was given about this. I had paid airport prices for water to bring onto the plane and then had to surrender it at the gate. Of course in economy class they will not give you water or attention until you are at cruising altitude. More than one flight attendant did not smile and one was actually rude in spite of my attempts to be kind and smile. Except for one friendly person at check-in kiosk, bad service overall. They do not have personal entertainment systems, and it was like going back in time with the tiny screens you cannot see, playing a movie you either watch it or not."

Cons: "My flight from SFO to Miami was delayed so I missed my connection to Rio and now I’m NYC on my birthday instead of my final destination. The flight status was changed 7 times. And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster."

Pros: "The planes were on time. On our way down to Cozumel. The pilot let me 4-year-old son see the cockpit. Which was AWESOME, they were great As well as the flight crew on the way down. The trip down was terrific, If AA had this level of service all the time I would fly with them all the time."
Cons: "The trip home was more of what i expected from AA. The check-in process was slow and i was overcharged for my bike, On the way down it was $25 the same price as previous AA flights, On other airlines, it also just counts as a piece of luggage. On the way home i was charged $150 oversized luggage, yet it was <50 lbs and within the size limits. The flight crew was not overall friendly. Very business like and not warm at all. If they were a restaurant i would not be returning. The locks on my bike case were both broken off. the case was not locked. Nor was this done by TSA as they would have left a note as they have previously done."

Cons: "The plane had a very good entertainment system with a lot of good movies, but the flight had no earphones available, so only the passengers that had their own ear/headphones could use it. Other than that, the flight attendants were not kind in any way and items present in the onboard menu, were not available, as I asked for Pringles and there was none. I did not see anybody eating some food in this flight, other than the mini pretzels served. How a 3hour flight arriving at 09 PM, had no food onboard?"

Cons: "Paid for upgrade that wasn't great. Next class down was just as good. AWFUL FOOD!! Worst I have ever had. HATE the new seat design. Cant lean against the window because of the gap. My purse fell through the gap onto the floor behind my seat. Had to ask the person behind me 3 times to please hand it back to me. The armrest doesnt go up which helps at times getting in and out. It is a large uncomfortable impediment. The remotes were all over the place, down in the seat, on the floor. No one could find the plug in for the headphones. It is in the most ridiculous place!"

Pros: "Tiny airplane but single flght crew managed my and from what I could see fellow passengers needs commendably. Whilst I didn't like needing to hand in my carry on (without much warning so I didn't have time to pull out a magazine to read) on the plus side it was stored well as my suit carrier came out unscathed and you get your bags curb side as soon as the plane lands so you don't have to wait for the rest of the bags to unload."
Cons: "Because the airplane is so small there is not much room to move in the aisle (thankfully most people just sat down for the short flight), also you have to hand in your carry on baggage so that it is stored with the main bags."

Cons: "During boarding, we were pulled out of the line. The attendant that diverted us did not explain why he diverted us. Our boarding passes were printed by our hotel as were many others that we saw. We went to a desk where another individual started asking question about our life and where we were going. Still, no one thought it was necessary to explain what part of the process or what exactly is going on. The man that diverted us, I'll bet, does not have reasons or any idea why he diverted us. I hate to think that he did it because we were Black Americans."

Pros: "honestly, all I can say is that I like that I arrived...? eventually? four and a half hours later than we were promised, despite the beautiful weather?"
Cons: "I didn't like that American Airlines had not staffed our flight, so we waited for 4.5 hours for a flight attendant who would be able to complete the flight crew so we could leave. They kept delaying the flight, 5 minutes at a time, for 4.5 hours. It flew out of LGA, it was a 9pm flight. The airport food sources were closed, and AA kept us until 1am-- no food, no internet, and, because LGA has terrible cell reception, no phone service. Once we got on the plane, everyone was really hungry, and the plane had no snacks. No entertainment because the TV system was broken. It was just a miserable experience. I regret trying to save $20 by booking that flight. I have had nothing but terrile experiences on American Airlines-- NEVER AGAIN."

Cons: "I never experienced the flight because I wasn't given a seat. The airline oversold the flight and I never got to go. I missed my once in a lifetime experience because the airline is greedy at my (and other people's) expense. I missed out on a priceless experience. Not only that, the bag that I checked did not make it off the flight so I remained in DC while my bag went to Medellin. I had to purchase new toiletries and had to make arrangements to get back to the airport. As of now, I do not plan on choosing American Airline nor LATAM for my future flights."

Cons: "I was sitting two rows from the bathroom and the entire time the bathroom reeked of urine. It was unbearable."

Cons: "More communication from the boarding staff. The delays kept increasing. Due to weather, we were delayed 4 hrs. They only decided to accommodate everyone with water and snacks 3 hrs into the delay."

Cons: "They had no room for my carry on, I had to place it under my seat making my legs very comfortable."

Pros: "We landed in NYC -- although it was first announced as Dulles."
Cons: "This flight was on Canadian Air under the auspices of United. I was not allowed into the United Club lounge despite the fact that I had business class ticket. I was informed that a business class ticket isn't sufficient for using the lounge when flying domestic. It is only good when flying international. They call that customer service. I generally avoid domestic airlines because of the customer service. The flight attendants were not happy to serve you. It's a small flight but they didn't even offer a snack -- you had to ask for it. And then they brought over a small basket with nuts, chips, candy bars, and a muffin. I took a muffin and it stuck to the roof of my mouth -- very poor quality. When I asked for a snack the flight attendant replied cocktail or soft drink never saying whether or not a snack was available.. She said this a couple of times before I could repeat that I wanted a snack to which she replied you want something to drink with that. I've been on many short flights in Asia and they will deliver a full meal and you don't have to ask for it. There was no entertainment but United did send an email explaining how I could purchase entertainment to play on my own device."

Cons: "We were forced to use another airline and we landed in NYC about 5 hours later."

Pros: "The flight time was short"
Cons: "Cabin crew seemed cold and distracted I was done of the last to board because I came off a connecting flight. And I was made to check my carry-on at the gate, however when I boarded the plane I saw plenty of overhead room. The carry-on bag that I had to check was scoffed."

Pros: "Nothing. I didn't take the flight."
Cons: "They didn't get me to New York. Our original aircraft was stolen to use for another flight. So we needed to wait for another plane that wasn't due until 90 minutes after our scheduled departure. This second plane had maintainence issues. After 4 hours waiting I got on a Delta flight."

Cons: "Pilot admitted error. They did not even know what was going on. 3 hours late due to last min maintenance after the plane had been on the ground since last night. No supervisor came even though we asked the captain to contact one. We were ignored. Total clusterfuck. Pilot was courteous and professional but front desk was Frazzled and incompetent. We were hugely inconvenienced and missed our obligations with no offer of compensation. Then when we finally get on the plane they kick us off!!!!!!!!!! Now they are saying a 630 departure for a 2 pm flight. This is beyond acceptable and I am about to call the local news and am sending them video of your gross incompetence. I want to be contacted at 815-527-1935 immediately. My time is valuable and no part of this delay is acceptable. I want full flight vouchers for this debacle"

Cons: "Crew members seem totally uninterested in their jobs- no personality/no interaction at all."

Pros: "Friendly gate attendant. Flight was early into LGA. Going through check in and security was a breeze in Denver, even with the long lines, a lot faster than what was expected."
Cons: "Wouldn't allow me to connect to the "free" entertainment. The leg room was lacking even for someone at only 5'7""

Pros: "Multiple passengers were assigned the same seats so we had to do some shuffling once everyone had boarded. There were however enough seats for everyone."
Cons: "The staff was very pleasant and professional."

Pros: "I liked that they thought that tic tacs is a solution to a 14 hour delay. Screw you, United."
Cons: "Since I missed this connecting flight by 8 hours, the best united could guarantee was a flight 2 DAYS LATER. I had to sleep at the airport. No food vouchers, no compensation. Waited in Uniteds line for 3 hours just to talk to someone. They lost my luggage which I had PAID to check; it was sent to the wrong airport. They guanteed luggage delivery by Thursday night. It arrived Saturday morning at 3am."

Pros: "Despite delay, flight arrived at gate on time."
Cons: "Insufficient meals available for the passengers. Flight time was moved back twice and then up. It can really cause problems for people when departure times are moved up. In flight programs were good but no headphones provided. Good thing we brought some!"

Pros: "The cabin crew themselves were great. The pilots offered my child to go see the cabin and everyone on the actual plane was great."
Cons: "The United employees at check in kiosk were very unorganized and unhelpful. I was traveling internationally with a small child and had two pieces of luggage to check in. Normally you just go to the counter once and they do everything including taking your luggage once they weigh it. Instead, I had to go to the self check in kiosk, then back to the counter to weigh my luggage, take off the one luggage from the scale, weigh the second one, then go back to the self check in kiosk, then was told to take off the second luggage as well, then finally went to a second counter where the lady handwritten my luggage tags and then was told to take both pieces of luggage and put them somewhere else altogether with specific directions on where to put them. This is something normally handled by the actual employees. Also, the check in dude yelled at my kid for putting in his name into the check in kiosk while we were waiting on the check in dude to do all those unorganized activities. He claimed it would break the software if my kid were to enter his name. I have told him that no, the software will not break if my child enters in his name."

Pros: "The gate crew was nice. I like the smaller plane."
Cons: "Too MANY Announcements . There were too many automated announcements and crew announcements after take off. There were about 6-8 announcements during a 1.5 hour flight at 7am. The first 5 announcements were the same, no new information until 1hr into flight."

Cons: "Seat pitch smaller than every other airline (except frontier) and no free movies on demand"

Cons: "Flight was delayed a few times , learned once i got to the airport flight was delayed .. and delayed 2 more times while on the plane .... They didnt know which way the bags were located ...(baggage claim or at the door way of exit of the plane )"

Pros: "Fast boarding, smooth flight, almost on time landing despite light snow in NY, flight was not full which was a big plus, there was enough room in overhead bins thanks to fewer passengers on board, bigger than average built in seats monitors"

Cons: "The air hostess were horrible!! It felt like they didn't know what they were doing. We sat for hours. I had a messages that the fight was delayed before they announced it. The first gate cancellation was never announced. New passengers boarded and it was a free for all . Those passengers lied about seating and pushed their way on. We believed them until one said that United offered them an earlier flight and choice of seating."

Cons: "There was no gate agent until about 6 minutes before the flight was scheduled to take off and when got there they were rude to customers and dismissive."

Cons: "All three seats were purchased together and we were all split up in different rows, 3 hr flight and you have to pay for any movie with only a selection of tv clips to try and induce you to spend $"

Cons: "The fact that I had to pay to watch tv. Maybe people should have to pay for movies, but not for watching tv. Flights and till we takeoff can take a while. It would be nice to have some free entertainment. The plane was very hot when we were boarding."

Flight attendant was pleasant but she should have just kept her mouth shut if she was unsure. Our relationship status is none of her business. She meant well & is pleasant bur I was on call before & did look tired. Asking if my boyfriend was my son did not help the situation."

Cons: "We were delayed over an hour going to NYC and were delayed 3.5 hours going back to Chicago. Terrible and exhausting."

Cons: "Never again. I actually got food poisoning while in Orlando and missed my return flight, and I was so grateful to be sick. I'm honestly surprised that old tiny plane made it to Orlando in one piece. We had a preacher onboard and we had him praying the whole time cause the plane would suddenly drop in altitude, or shake, and it made this really loud buzzing sound the entire time. We had to yell to talk to the person next to us cause it was so noisy. I wasn't expecting a whole lot cause it's not like I bought first class or anything, but I'm genuinely trying to repress the memories of this experience. As for the rest of the rating choices, there was no food. Just a tiny water bottle. No entertainment, unless you count begging to live through the journey."

Cons: "i would not fly again if possible. My trip consisted of 3 flights, starting in Fort. Lauderdalento to Orlando, Orlando to Denver, and Dever to Aspen. However, The first flight operated by Silver (a partner of United) was delayed due to "maintenance". Due to this delay, we missed our connecting flights and had to get new flights, causing us to have an over night layover in Chicago and then arriving in Aspen Sunday, the next day of our original arrival day. I just want to add that I saw on the departure board that Silver had maybe 16 flights that morning/ afternoon and maybe 7-8 of those flights, including mine, were delay or canceled. Not to mention they never updated their board to reflect our flight was delayed. The only good comment I have was that the Silver attendent who helped us get a new flight was very helpful."

Cons: "Booked United flight, tried to check in on the app. Said i couldn't check in because it was a Silver Flight. Tried to check in through Silver, also got denied. Then the flight was delayed because they had to kick 5 people off. When we boarded said we were still too heavy so started kicking off unaccompanied minors. Tried to kick me off, told them I'm 27 and got accused of looking way younger. Thought I was gonna get kicked off. Finally took off- my seat was in the last row and seat back was broken so I was sinking into the back of the plane getting poked by metal so had to sit straight up whole flight. Plane was so small and old I was terrified the whole way. Finally land and pilot says they are understaffed so had another delay. Then the shuttle trains at airport were broken so had even more delay. I was so late I almost didn't graduate. Did I mention TSA machine incorrectly identified an object in my anal cavity? Hindsight would have rented a car and driven 6 hours than take this 1 hour flight. Worst flight ever."

Cons: "Customer service in Pensacola was the worst. Took 30 minutes to check in and there were only two people ahead of me! The stewardess was noticeably unfriendly and borderline rude to many of the passengers. The experience in Orlando was 180 degrees different....they did a great job."

What I don't understand is why they keep saying that the flight was on time then at the time of departure tell us the crew would be there any minute. For one hour they kept announcing that the crew would be there any minute. The staff at the desk was you typical airline staff with a poor attitude."
