For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

Eventually they arrived and fixed whatever, while everyone was getting texts and alerts that kept delaying the departure by 15-minute intervals. Over an hour (while sitting in a warm plane) after the original scheduled departure, we left the gate, sat on the taxiway a while, then took off. Cabin crew only had cookies and drinks, no other snacks or food. All anyone got was an apology for the extended delay."

I didn't even think that was legal in the US?! Anyway, maybe it will be worth it once the renovations are complete, especially if AA is going to use it as a hub."

It got delayed, then delayed again. Finally, it got delayed to 6:18pm, but we were told a crew was flying in from Chicago, so not to worry, we would DEFINITELY be on the plane and out of there by 6:45 at the LATEST. 6:45 comes, 6:45 goes, and no crew. The pilot has been sitting outside the gate this whole time, and we see him go up and shake his head at the gate agent. They announce: the pilot has timed out, he can't fly us anymore, even if we DO get a flight crew. But they don't cancel it! Oh no, not yet. They still have two more hours to make us miserable, why would they cancel the flight? So we sit there as they tell us they might be able to get another pilot from another flight don't worry they're going to try. Meanwhile, we can't self-cancel our flight and get a refund because they've already loaded our bags onto the empty plane without a crew, and they won't get individual bags back, so those of us with a checked bag are trapped at the airport until this awful airline finally decides to let us go. Finally, at EIGHT PM, they do announce that our flight has been officially canceled, and what are we offered in compensation? A refund, or a ticket on a (fully booked!) flight on their airline two days later. No hotel vouchers, no tickets on any other airlines. Just a refund of a ticket you bought months ago so that you can buy an astronomically expensive ticket at the last minute on another airline, or a rebooked ticket on an overbooked plane in two days that will probably be canceled, too. We took the refund, rented a car with the money, and drove overnight to get home instead. Anything was better than being anywhere near Frontier Airlines for another minute. Avoid this toxic waste dump of an airline."

Pros: "The people who were suppose to be check me and my friend in were not on time they told us we could take a carry-on but then charged us both ways (to and from) the plan was delayed going and coming back workers were rude and not polite at all. Called customer service and emailed them they said they could not do anything about it. I even took picture and video of the workers coming in and out of the door playing on their phone sitting in the wheelchairs and they said they still could not do anything. When walking up to ask question the works had really bad and pissy attitude then after boarding we sat on the run way for another 2-3 hr after already being delayed but 3 hrs inside the airport they change you for everything don't give any complementary snacks or drinks"

We took smaller backpacks instead to avoid the fees after calling the airline for absolute dimensions allowed. I know, buyer be ware, but Kayak should flag Frontier for customers. Disappointed in the anxiety created as I tried to check in for the flight the day before and only then learned about the carry-on fee at Frontier."

When checking in and getting the option to pick my seat, all of the normal seats were taken and had to pay extra (not for an extra legroom seat) but just to be closer to the front of the plane. 3. The seats are uncomfortable 4. No drink service during the flight. 5. Ended up paying 2/3 the cost of the original ticket in fees the day of my flight. 6. Our flight was delayed 30 minutes, but the front counter said Nothing about it being delayed or what time what time we were boarding, updates, etc. If I could rate them less than a star I would. Terrible experience and terrible company ideas. I will not ride when them again because I don't want them to think this is acceptable service from the airline business. I hope they go out of business soon."
Pros: "The flight crew was friendly and attentive. The plane was immaculate. The pilots kept us informed and made a great landing. Every Frontier employee that I came in contact with was terrific. As a former stewardess and ticket agent I am very picky!!!! I loved my jobs with the airline and had great fun with the passengers/customers while giving good service. Lots of KUDOS to all the Frontier people that I came in contact with. Will fly with you again. Cons: "There were 3 of us who made the tight connection in Denver from Bozeman. My bag was the ONLY bag that was not delivered. Super annoying! There were only 2 people at the counter (once I finally found out I had to go back up to departures) and I was asked to put my information down on a notepad (because that's secure?!) and they would call me sometime later when they found my bag and she was very unfriendly about it, no eye contact and attitude. Did I mention that it was 5 am?! Unacceptable. Luckily the other woman working the counter offered to locate my bag and file the claim. (THANK YOU) Then I found out that was the only flight from Denver to Charlotte and I'd have to wait at least 24 hours before I got my bag back....Not a great experience with frontier. Customer service line---- TERRIBLE. I really would have loved to speak with a HUMAN BEING. Also the food selection on the flight was not good, would have been great to have an actual meal to buy with a flight that was over 3 hours."
Cons: "Did not appreciate the constant sales pitch for the airline credit card, it felt relentless!!! I could barely concentrate on my reading. Having not flown this airline before, I was also surprised and annoyed by the carry on and baggage fees. I thought I had found a good price for my ticket but that quickly vanished when you added these fees."
This flight was not full so we were able to get some space. I slept well enough through most of the flight. I used my iPad to watch Netflix I downloaded. All in all, I wouldn’t complain about the flight. It went well.

Cons: "I understand that MASKS are required. But making toddlers wear a mask on the phone is just TOO MUCH!! It's hard enough trying to make sure they wear a jacket and keeping their coat on or shoes but making sure their mask is on as well the whole plane ride. How can us parents relax on the plane when we have to keep checking our toddler to make sure he/she mask is still on their face. It's very uncomfortable for them and they are too young to understand why they have to wear them and they are sitting for hours. Spirit should loosen up the mask rule for toddlers. I think if they are under the age of 6 they shouldn't wear a mask. 6 and older they are capable of understanding what's going on and being able to keep their mask on their face but expecting a toddler too (2,3, and 4 year olds). Is not happening. If they are uncomfortable they will take them off and we are supposed to relax on the plane not play mask police and make sure their mask stays on their face the whole flight. They will get annoyed and start having fits because they don't want it on and doesn't understand. COVID"

I believed I was getting a great deal, but in actuality I was being charged just as much as any other flight. The ride may have been better with another airline because the seats where compact, hard, and immobile. It’s definitely was my best experience."

Then before we were booking they announced the flight was overbooked by 4 people. That added another time 10 minutes. Then when we’re on the plane it took another 20 minutes for paperwork that wasn’t done correctly. So with no weather issues my scheduled flight at 8 am didn’t take off until 10:55 am."

I purchased a ticket with another airline and left a few hours later. The staff told me that this is an everyday occurrence. Policies are fine but the staff should provide alternate solutions."
