"Flight was delayed by one hour, then another 1/2 hour then cancelled and changed till the next day. We were not allowed to get our luggage & put up in a dirty hotel. I had cockroaches in the bathroom. When I finally arrived home…i noticed the airline had damaged the zipper on my suitcase. An awful awful trip thanks to American Airlines."

I was being told first that I was going to make my connecting flight, and then rushed to the new gate due to terminal re-assigned, and then told that I won't make it to the connecting flight so I have to go to the re-booking counter. And then at the counter being told that I could have made it. Very confusing."

If you serve customers from all walks of life including Hindus, vegetarians, Islam, Judaism, it should be expected that the flight attendant know if that is turkey or ham. Another thing is that there was no final check by the flight attendant. We landed with tray tables down, seats recline, and people were still on their laptops."

AA online check-in didn't work, There's always a 45+ minute wait by phone to get AA to answer.. Then the customer service line of Airlines @ LAX had 70+ people needing help, but only one person working. So it was an hour long wait, only to be told 'No' you can't fly. Yet once I walked over to British Airways, they found a way to get me to my destination. Airlines just does not have enough employees and doesn't care."

I waited and waited and nothing while everyone ate. I ran the flight attendant button(many many many times) and no one came. I didn't get up because why am I going to chase someone down? After about 30 mins or more later someone finally passed by that was going to ask for trash. I asked for my food and they apologized and brought back a pasta option and said they were sorry that they ran out of chicken. So I was made to wait for half an hour while everyone ate to NOT get what I wanted and be forgotten about?! Unacceptable. Took me another 30 mins to get my appetite back since I was so upset. Also, our flight left an hour later!!! No one said anything to us about why we were late. They accommodated those with connecting flights in the US but still. What is going on?"

Upon arriving at Newark, the gate was not available. Come on United this is your hub. Final straw, the baggage took about 50 to 60 minutes to arrive."

Cons: "Bedlam at gate. Three overwhelmed employees trying to kick people off the plane. So many seats on this plane that there's no legroom, but also it makes the plane so heavy that it can't take off safely unless conditions are ideal. THIS IS A REAL THING THAT REALLY HAPPENED. We left 2.5 hours late due to "weather" (not because there are too many goddamn seats on the plane.) Then, before landing, we were asked to stay in our seats so people who are late for connections can get off first. Seems reasonable. THEY DIDN'T HAVE A GATE FOR US WHEN WE LANDED! The captain said 20 minutes til we can get a gate, but he'll try to get it sooner. He apparently didn't succeed, because it was 45 minutes (!!) before we got to the gate! As a result, 3 hours 15 minutes late. Officially this is "due to weather." Sure."

Cons: "I already knew I was going to pay $200 to ship my boards back home (I wonder if golf clubs which are roughly the same size cost as much,) but when pre-purchasing through the app for an "oversized" bag you have to put a "one" in the checked bag and a "one" in the oversized bag even though they're the same bag, but then they charge you for two, and when you tell the check-in person that you only have one bag of course they can't issue a refund. No, they tell you that you get to call customer service when you return home."

The main issue was that when I purchased my ticket throughout Kayak YOU NEVER SPECIFIED THAT I SHOULD CHECK MY BAGS 45 MINUTES EARLY OR I WOULD LOOSE MY FLIGHT. YOUR LACK OF CLEAR INSTRUCTION SCREWED UP MY TRIP"

The big other surprise was when we got to Des Moines and realized all the bags were opened!...my wife's jewelry was stolen!!!! UNITED AIRLINES SUCK!!!!!"

Cons: "Both flights were INCREDIBLY delayed. First, the flight from San Jose was delayed 1.5 hours because they were "waiting for the aircraft." After everybody finally boarded the plane an announcement was made that somehow the luggage crew had damaged the cargo hold, and that everybody would have to deplane. It would take 45 minutes for maintenance crew to arrive to assess the situation. People got up, got their luggage out of the overhead bins, and started moving to the front of the plane. The pilot then came back on the intercom and told everyone they would have to return to their seats. Roughly an hour later we finally took off. It would have been the decent thing to do to AT LEAST offer the passengers something (i.e. comp drinks or snacks), but the cheapskates at United DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. Multiple people missed their connections. Fast forward to IAH--> SAT. Another late flight. This time, everybody boarded the plane only to be informed that due to a problem with the plane's computer everybody would have to sit on the plane while they "rebooted" its computers. This was done TWICE. UNITED AIRLINES, GET IT TOGETHER. There is a very good reason you are consistently ranked one of the WORST US-flagged carriers, which makes you one of the MOST HATED AIRLINES ON THE PLANET. I really and truly pray that the US airlines and their lobbyists lose their battle to prevent foreign flagged carriers from operating within the US, because you all deserve to go bankrupt."

Cons: "The service, entertainment, boarding, comfort, and crew haven't changed at all ever since I've flown with united. The crew just seemed to be there to get their pay checks not serve the customers."

Pros: "The flight I was able to get on eventually had pleasant crew and arrived early."
Cons: "Where to start.... they "delayed" my flight for 11 hrs from 5:55pm to 0700am due to "weather" so no hotel or food vouchers would be issued. THEY ALSO SAID "don't bother going stand by for the other two flights leaving this evening as they will be overbooked or "cancelled" as well. When I walked to customer service they stated it was NOT cancelled but rather "rescheduled due to operational issues" then they put me on stand by for the next flight leaving in a couple hours. I boarded that flight only to be pulled out of my seat the last second before the gate closed saying there was an error and there were two "Fishers" and I was in one of thier seats. After closing the door and departing the gate the agent said "whoops" I guess it was a small child that was to be on the parents lap. "Sorry" as the plane left with an empty seat that I had been sitting in. After a long conversations with the supervisor they finally were able to book me on the last flight out that night arriving in DM at 12:15 in am. I had to dig my original boarding pass out of the garbage as they had refused to put me in first class... an upgrade I had paid for. After being lied to repeatedly about status of plane and bumped from flight due to incompetent gate agent I was able to finally procure a $10 food voucher (a beer is $11 at the airport. There are additional bungles including lost luggage and more to this saga but I think you get the picture."

Cons: "Having to pay $7.99 for entertainment is ridiculous, especially on an international flight. Just one more way to gouge customers. Especially as a 1K flyer, having to pay for entertainment is just a slap in the face."

Pros: "I've taken a number of airlines, but none as bad as United. I get bad weather, I wouldn't want to go up in a plane in a thunderstorm regardless of the circumstances....but I spent almost a day getting to my destination that should of only taken9 hours tops. Delay upon delay, arriving right when my next flight was leaving. Very rude staff, I saw an attendant yell at a mom and daughter like she was their mom. Non-apologetic to anyone. Their goal is to shove you in the plane and shove you out. Are they safe airline? Yes, they will get you to where you need to be...but not before they make your life hell. I don't normally do reviews on anything, but United still has me frustrated even a week later. I almost forgot, they did give $20 to eat. Do you know how expensive airport food is?"

Pros: "Everything about the flight was great. Both going and return were so on time, it was amazing. On the way home the in flight entertainment was out for the duration of the flight and nobody in the crew really took the time to address it - thought that was a little odd. Thanks again!"

Cons: "We arrived from Tampa about 8:00am to discover shortly later that flight 558 would be delayed to 9:30am. Then at 9:30 it was announced the plane is to be delayed to 10:30. Shortly after that announcement it was announced a gate change and further delay to 11:30. Then another delay to 12:20. finally departed."

Cons: "Having a leg brace makes difficult I am blessed I can move a little without them. I had to move a short distance without my brace. No place to put it back on."

Pros: "The fact that you serve a small complimentary drink and snack on such a short flight was extremely appreciated. It seems most airlines either won't serve on a short flight or charge you extra. Also, I absolutely love the new seats on the planes you guys have been using for quite a while now. They're much more sleek/minimalist so they don't take up as much room. As a disabled person, the bulky seats still employed by many planes on other airlines are incredibly hard on me getting in and out of the seat isles. The crew was very efficient and kind. I also appreciate the thank you to military personnel that they announced at the end of the flight."

When they checked my bag they never said thank you, for us flying with frontier. When boarding, the "bad day" employee treated the customers as if they were cattle. Not one stewardess smile the entire flight. And when I asked to stretch after using the facilities only 1 time during the 4 hour flight, I was told (in a very sarcastic voice) "as long as you don't come into our area!" Followed by a faded whisper of "shiiiiiiit". All this, plus a 3 hour delay. What more could you ask for? Next time, I'll pay a little more for the customer service."

I prefer to arrive early and go through the process before most people arrive. There should be a bag drop off line separate from the general line. The trays on the plane were too small for me to work. The space between the rows was too restricted to open my lap top."

Cons: "I wasn't expecting the seats to not recline at all unless you purchase a stretch seat. I had the assumption they would still recline the typical amount. I don't like that you have to pay for your seat choice after the flight is already paid for."

Pros: "I loved all the room I had, and how polite and expedient the crew were. There was no wasted time."
Cons: "I was sat next to a newborn baby -- and I paid extra for that seat. Felt like that wasn't worth it."

Cons: "WAITED ON TARMAC ON ARRIVAL IN DENVER 1 HOUR AND WAITED 45 MINUTES AT DENVER FOR THE PLANE TO ARRIVE AND 1 HR IN DENVER FOR THE LUGGAGE TO BE LOADED ON THE PLANE...EVEN THOUGH THE LUGGAGE WAS ON THE CARTS SITTING NEXT TO THE PLANE WAITING TO BE LOADED ONTO THE PLANE."

Cons: "Sitting on tarmac for hour and a half with no time of getting off rhe plane os inhumane treatment."

Cons: "Hidden Fees, thankfully we could afford the extra $20/seat. On the first leg of the flight it was 100 degrees in the cabin, and there were NO beverages available at all. We were told there would be a 5 minute wait on the tarmac before unloading...we've been here for 45 minutes with no end in sight."

Cons: "Seats dont move...why do first 3 rows have seats that recline?"

Pros: "Crew was great. Everything went well"

Cons: "Took over 30 minutes to check a bag."

Pros: "I arrived at my destination safely."
Cons: "1. Charged me for baggage, carry on, and seat assignment. Seriously?! 2. Flight was over an hour late. 3. No TSA Pre-Check (I get it EVERY time I fly Delta) I have Silver Medallion status on Delta but when I needed an inexpensive one-way flight to Des Moines, Frontier had a great price so I thought. I bought the ticket but then when checking in for the flight online, the expenses started mounting fast. Delta never charges me for 1 checked bag and I can bring 2 carry-one for free. I never pay for more legroom either. Not the case on Frontier. By the time you nickel and dimed me to death I could have saved time, money, and aggravation by staying on Delta. Thanks for the lesson though. I've flown United, American and Delta almost exclusively over the past 20 years and I have always considered all airlines were basically the same. You proved that theory wrong."

Cons: "Waiting 3 hours"

Pros: "Great professional service by ALL employees"
Cons: "Only thing that left me questioning was boarding order. I was zone 4 and by that time most passengers were seated. My seat was an A by window and 2 passengers had to get back up for me."

Pros: "Flight staff were wonderful about making up time and doing what they could to make things better"
Cons: "Flight was delayed an hour due to traffic control and the airline wouldn't give us an estimation of when we would leave - I understand that it was up to traffic control but having flown I knew it would easily be an extra hour since the last flight hadn't made it to the gate. Once we arrived we learned only four bags made it for the entire flight. Overall it was a cheap flight but you had to pay handsomely for bags and food/beverages"

Pros: "The flight itself went smoothly."
Cons: "The gate for the flight changed 3x. Flight/airport staff were overly stressed and their frustration was evident while communicating with customers. Staff did a poor job of communicating gate changes. Flight was delayed by over an hour."

Cons: "There was a delay in the flight, but there was no one at the gate to tell passengers what was going on.."

Pros: "Crew was nice."
Cons: "Charges were added for checked bag and carry on bag on Frontier Airlines. The airfare rate was not satisfactory once you add on the additional fees for baggage. We changed gates at Denver airport 3 times. Flight #156 was supposed to leave Denver to Des Moines at 445 pm and we boarded the plane at approximately 615 pm and were on the plane on the ground for 2 hours and 15 minutes. That is too long to sit on a plane; there were microburst winds in Denver and then they lost our manifest also. We arrived at our destination in Des Moines about 4 hours later than scheduled. I will not recommend Frontier Airlines to other people."

Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour without any notification. There were two employees at the gate desk; neither of them communicated any info, even when questioned by multiple passengers. Frontier's site didn't update and the arrivals board at the destination airport displayed incorrect information."

Pros: "Clean plane, fine crew"
Cons: "Flight delayed 50 minutes. 3 gate changes. The last one without text notification"

Cons: "Flight was delayed at the gate and no one made an announcement until after the origiNal departure time had already passed and people began inquiring. Then they just called all zones so the boarding line was a mess."

Pros: "Crew was much more personable and concerned that my luggage would not make it on board because of the late departure from my previous flight."
Cons: "Same no-frills flight."

Cons: "Both flying out and my return flight were inconveniently off schedule. Logistics seems to be a nightmare for you guys. On the way out, we spent about an hour just waiting in the plane after landing, waiting for an open gate. THere were several other Frontier planes waiting on the tarmack as well -all of us stuck in limbo. Flying out, our flight was an hour behind schedule for a seemingly similar problem, the incoming plane had to wait for ever on the tarmack, and by the time they were finally let off the plane, and the plane cleaned and prepped, we were an hour behind. Very frustrating."

Cons: "Although the flight price was fairly inexpensive it cost me about half of the flight cost just to take my carry on. The plane was either new or updated and the seats were not comfortable. I am in the process of booking my next flight and it will not be on Frontier"

Pros: "Not a single thing. Horrible experience completely."
Cons: "The crew was rude and disrespectful. The entire trip was uncomfortable, ridiculously over priced for the quality of the crew and horrible all around."
