One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

Pros: "To be honest I had a pretty bad flight because my allergies exploded during the entire flight - constant sneezing, runny nose, you name it. However, the attentiveness of the crew really made up for it. The cabin was decorated with tiny wreathes (so cute!), and the pillow/blanket was very comfortable/warm for an Economy seat. Although I did not use it as much, the entertainment seemed top-notch. And the crew-- they noticed that I was not feeling well, and offered me peppermint tea and snacks that did sooth things a bit (you can request for snack/beverage refills anytime!). I loved that they gave out black socks to the passengers too (I prefer taking my shoes off during the flight, so the socks added warmth & prevented my own socks from getting dirty). All in all, it was one of the best-serviced long flights I had, not to mention probably the most affordable price I paid for my annual trip to Korea (from LA)."

What bothered me even more is that when the woman asked the flight attendant to tell me to put my seat up, the flight attendant complied instead of telling the woman it was my seat to do as I wished. Why make the seats recline if they are going to bother the people behind? Why tell me to put my seat up if it was not a requirement for all (ie during take off or landing)? I did not appreciate this and it made my flight extremely uncomfortable."

On our flight from LAX to Incheon, and from Incheon to Cebu, the flight attendants all seemed miserable and unhappy, not smiling at all. I've flown Asiana few times before and had always been happy, but this time, it was definitely different, all because of the seemingly unhappy flight attendants. On our 12 hour flight from LAX to Incheon, the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and in 12 hours, they didn't once come around with trash bag collecting trash. Sure, they collected the plastic cups drinks were put in, but that was it. How do you not come around collecting trash AFTER A 12 HOUR FLIGHT? Also, just the little thought of maybe providing a hot towel after a 12 hour flight would have been nice. In the future, if given almost the same price point for a ticket, I would choose another airline over Asiana Air."

They did allow her access to a short cut through the terminals; however she had collapsed, broke her watch, cover to the cell phone, injured both legs and right arm. She kept yelling for help and no one arrived, she managed while in intense pain to get up make her flight. When she arrived in Bangkok she went immediately to the Emergency Room and received treatment. I am appalled at the indifference of the members of the boarding crew that didn't offer assistance to my wife."

The cabin flight stewardess in her navy blue top and jeans asked me to sit down when she saw me standing at the front of the plane while the plane was cruising. There was no turbulence at that time, the seat belt sign was off and the captain did not announce a need to stay seated with the seat belt on. I explained that my back and left leg hurts so I needed to stretch, shake it off and stand. She insisted that I sit for my safety. I did not argue because I did not want to cause trouble. Then I asked her for the toilet which was behind her, hidden as she keeps the curtain pulled around the toilet and galley. She directed me to the tail of the plane when I am seated at #28B at first row at the front of the plane, 4-5 steps away from me. She kept still, standing in front of the toilet until I walked away to the back of the plane. Again, I did not complain nor argue. I thought to myself that maybe the front toilet if off limits to passengers. Then later when I returned to my seat, I watched all other passengers who appear of her same race and talked same language as hers, pull the curtain covering the toilet and galley, use the toilet and get drinks from her freely. I felt very offended that I was not allowed to use this toilet as every one else have and did not receive the same friendly service as those passengers. I wanted to keep to myself about this but I realized I was treated unequally. So I told her that I was offended that she directed me to the back of the plane to use the toilet while everyone else used the front of the plane toilet. I also told her I felt I was not treated equally and felt very hurt. She kept apologizing after I explained how I feel but her apology does not take away the fact that I was treated differently and unequally. I advised her that she should not treat her passengers as if we are ignorant of flying, of our rights and of flying etiquette. She kept apologizing every time she passes by me throughout the flight but this did not ease my feelings at all. This was the last blow to my dissatisfaction with this trip beginning with the 2-hour flight delay. With many other airlines flying to Clark airport in the Philippines, I choose not to fly Jin Air again. In fact, I already booked with another airline today for my next trip with my family in 6 months for a wedding. I will not recommend Jin Air to everyone I know."

This is the ONLY time we were told we needed to check our bags (which are both soft-sided and weight ~7kg). Apparently our small backpacks also counted toward the carry-on limit, which would have been fine if not for the following two contradictions: this was our THIRD flight with VietJet Air (one from Siem Reap to Hanoi, Hanoi to Da Nang, Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh) and we didn't have to check baggage the first two. We also saw at least half a dozen people get on our flight with either bags larger than ours, or carrying three pieces of luggage. Either enforce all the rules for everyone, every time they fly the airline, or not at all."

Without any documents that the Check-in Counter can use to process Check-in, the traveller will find out that a visit is required to a separate desk to obtain your reservation number scribbled on a scrap of paper to take back to the Check-in Counter (after waiting on line there again) so that the agent can find your record and proceed with check-in. This two step process is confusing and not immediately obvious to even the seasoned International traveller. Good thing I'm not easily flustered!"
