I was in the last boarding group even though my seat was in row 17. They required me to check my carryon due to space."

Am an international traveler and asked for an exception to be made for the waiver of that fee as I couldn't figure that out while booking my ticket online, the information was so poorly reflected on the website! Spoke to a supervisor on duty and she was extremely rude and terrible as far as listening was concerned! Maybe people can be more human during such times, listen and take some feedback rather than stating a loud no and asking straight away to pay?"

Cons: "Mechanical issue with the plane was reported the night before and not looked at until next morning after all passages had to be boarded. This caused all passengers to have to be unloaded and wait numerous hours before knowing if/when we were leaving. They passed out a handful of breakfast voucher then stopped until about an hour later they gave the rest of us our vouchers."

The answer was: I have to dispatch two more fly and when we finish probably 4 hour later I can help you. We are out money for hotels, car rentals and now are driving like mad across the US to get to Fort Lauderdale to try and salvage what's left of this vacation to the Bahamas. We will never book with Spirit!!!"

Cons: "There was a little girl behind me that played with the tray table. It started when I boarded and happened off and on during the flight. And she was kicking the seat. She also pulled my hair and caused me to hit my head on the side of the plane. Not the fault of the airline or crew. It was just really annoying."

Cons: "Check-in at reservations section was terrible...there were 2 lines of passengers checking in and 1 line had 3 agents checking passengers in and the other line had 1 agent checking passengers in. We were second in line...in the wrong line with only 1 agent checking passengers in...we waited 20 minutes to get helped, because the party in front of us (with 2 in line) actually had a ticket for 6 passengers (4 of whom showed up several minutes later), who had to decide/pay for luggage options ,etc.. If you have 2 lines & 4 agents, 2 agents should be serving each line...enough for me never to fly Spirit again!"

That low fare isn't so low when you read all the disclosures that are buried on other pages I think Kayak should start asking about how many bags you have as part of their pricing structure so you can really compare travel costs!"

At least they rebooked my flight dornme with another airline the next day, but I missed a presentation because they couldn't find me an earlier flight."

They only gave people a $7 voucher to eat food and $50 for a future flight that expires within 2 months. Too much aggravation and a total a lack of respect for the schedules people have."

Lady offered me to take a tomorrow flight instead and she refused to get registered for my flight. I would classify it as a poor service and attitude since check in takes 3 min, security check for local flights takes 5 min. And a train to terminal 5 min. She just said that i wont make it. Had to buy a ticket from a different company."

Cons: "We never got on that flight because our first plane out of Los Angeles was two hours late. We were never notified about this before we got to the airport and because of no other connecting flight we had to sit in the airport for 13 1/2 hrs."

Cons: "I don't like being nickel-and-dimed to death the way Spirit does, I'm not really sure why the flight attendants were even on board, as they were clearly not happy to be there, the seats were terribly uncomfortable- no lumbar support at all, and the head sticks out farther than the rest of the seat so you're forced to sit with your neck at a funny angle, resulting in a sore neck for your trip. I ONLY use Spirit when I can't possibly afford anything else, as I have never had a pleasant experience with them, and I will never recommend them to someone else."
