Pros: "It was a brand new 737-900 with legroom, atmospheric lighting, very quiet engines, and LEGROOM in coach. The flight crew was top-notch as well."
Cons: "Nothing. Delta did very well with this one."
Pros: "Everyone was great!"
Pros: "see above"
Cons: "- Put a special meal request. Meal request (vegan vegetarian) was confirmed on my boarding pass. However, when service came, flight attendant informed me that "I don't have any left. sorry". So I went 15 hours without food. - Ceiling light was "broken" and falling off. The light would not turn off, so I went 15 hours with no sleep. Overall very rude and low standard service."
Pros: "The staff are friendly and passengers quickly get on and off the plane."
Cons: "I travel this route (ATL - MGM) often and it seems like half the time I use Delta there is an issue with the plane including times when the flight has been cancelled. This time the plane left the gate and some fifteen minutes after sitting on the tarmac was taken back to the gate. The issue was said to be an element that keeps a sensor from freezing in extreme cold weather. The less than one hour flight took two hours to complete. This should have been dealt with as a maintenance issue but Delta doesn't seem to think so. The planes on this route make Delta a LOT of money as it is one of the most profitable routes in the US. You would think Delta could invest in keeping better maintained planes on the route."
Cons: "The flight crew were great"
Cons: "No food or drinks"
Pros: "The free small meals are a nice touch. Everything was great. The flight was on time and lived up to my expectations for the best US airline."
Cons: "One of the flight attendants didn’t seem super happy. Not much to complain about on this flight."
Pros: "Crew was pleasant. Boarding was fast and efficient, nobody bumrushed."
Cons: "The non-reclining seat right next to the bathroom door opening should not exist. I was miserable there; I swear everyone on the plane made sure to take a dump on this <2 hour flight. Also none of the windows on any of these small planes line up with the actual positions of seats and it sucks."
Pros: "The plane was really nice. It was awesome being able to view movies on the flight."
Cons: "It was a 1.5 hour late leaving San Diego (6am flight), one of three bathrooms out, no coffee or tea (wtf?), we circled Atlanta for an hour, ran out of gas, landed in Pensacola, no information, missed the flight to DC ... And it's not even noon"
Pros: "The crew were nice and friendly. The plane was new with lots of amenities"
Cons: "The new plane has NO leg room at all. It’s the worst leg room i’ve Experienced for such a large plane. I’m 6’1” and my knees would only fit if I spread my legs wide and sit back deep into the chair."
Cons: "They said it was late because of a tire issue that was fixed in Salt Lake causing a late departure on a round trip SLC-Burbank. It arrived back to Salt Lake late causing the Dallas flight to leave late. I got a message at 6:24 pm regarding the late departure for the 8:15 pm flight to Dallas. They knew this info hours before. It should have been communicated sooner"
Pros: "Flight was on time with enough connection time to board with zero issues"
Cons: "No problems on this trip"
Cons: "Flight delayed 2 hrs"
Pros: "The flights were on time and they did two drink and snack services. Great crew!"
Pros: "After almost every airline cancelled. Delta still took me to where I needed to go with not one single problem. That pilot was amazing. I forget his name. But the plane didn't slide or anything during take off. Amazing."
Cons: "What was there not to like. We were a little bit late but I wasn't in a rush. I planned well ahead. Delta moved my flight from 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. and that was perfectly fine with me."
Pros: "Super friendly staff and on-time flights. Love the TV, movies, wi-fi and snack goodies!"
Pros: "Was initially hoping to fly a US airline but will now look for Aeromexico first. Exceeded my expectations!"
Cons: "The layover in Mexico City was a bit long and the airport was not so great"
Pros: "At least they serve us dinner."
Cons: "The toilet was very sticky. over crowded and kids was crying all over the flight."
Pros: "Boarding, checking in etc. The usual stuff, nothign spectacular."
Cons: "Seats are getting too crowded!"
Pros: "I always enjoy my flights on Delta the staff members are always pleasant and helpful, not to mention a smooth flight. :)"
Pros: "The crew was beyond friendly and courteous. Lots of leg room."
Cons: "I was an older plane, it was louder than our flight down to Atlanta. Nothing they could do about it, but a slight annoyance."
Pros: "Free earphones"
Cons: "Delayed boarding Delayed flying after boarding Delayed in flight service"
Cons: "The tsa is worthless"
Pros: "Everything was pretty good like usual, except when we landed we sat on the runway for 45 minutes waiting for a gate as ours was occupied by a plane that was having mechanical issues. Not great."
Pros: "That I made it to Dublin"
Cons: "The flight was delayed due to aircraft issues making us 2 hours late for vacation. THIS IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY! I literally put blood, sweat and many many tears into this trip. The flight attendant was so rude on this trip. It was like she was absolutely offended by my presence. I barely even spoke to her except to make sure of my vegetarian tray to which I got the nasty reply "You'll have to wait because I don't have it with me now". If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach."
Pros: "Friendly and informative flight attendants kept the passengers in reasonable spirit."
Cons: "Left nearly an hour late after confusion related to oversold seats and upgrades. The gate agent entered the plane multiple times. The landing was rough, the brakes were loud."
Pros: "It was a smooth ride and overall very enjoyable flight as the entertainment was very enjoyable and a lot to choose from"
Cons: "It was a smooth ride and overall very enjoyable flight as the entertainment was very enjoyable and a lot to choose from"
Pros: "Got grounded for five hours stuck on the plane."
Cons: "I was sitting in the middle seat between two very big (fat) people and it was uncomfortable."
Cons: "Delayed flight, mechanical"
Pros: "The delta connection flight waited for our flight so we were able to make our cruise :-)"
Cons: "The delay in the beginnning caused a bit of anxiety that we might miss our connecting flight which could've resulted in a missed cruise"
Pros: "Leg room not as bad as general chatter."
Cons: "Seat width a problem. Center seat passenger used arm rest subject me to cart hits and hits from other passengers. Aisle seemed narrow. New Embracier airplane with 6 seats across."
Pros: "Quick flight; helpful and friendly staff"
Pros: "The crew was friendly and accommodating, and service was good"
Cons: "I purchased a basic economy ticket and upon checking in, my Delta app said my seat was unassigned and I had to get my boarding pass at the airport. I checked back later and the app had me as number 7 on the standby list. I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."
Pros: "On time, efficient boarding, no lines or delays. Attendants not as top notch as on the domestic leg but we're friendly and efficient. Loved the seat back entertainment options, watched a movie, listened to 2 podcasts, and enjoyed some excellent blues music. All while tracking he flight progress. Made the 6 hour flight go by quickly and not mind the bumpy air in the tropics."
Cons: "Extreme delays"
Cons: "I did not like the fact that I have been with Delta for years and their response to me about booking my flight and using the payment method was they are working on it and there is nothing they can do. They would not even offer to hold my flight for 24 hours in case they fixed the issue within that time frame. It was very disappointing."
Cons: "Flight attendants were a little snobby and didn't treat all passengers equally, in my humble opinion (note: I was sitting in 1st class)."
Cons: "I'm not sure how you lose a bag on a direct flight from Atlanta to Denver, but Delta found a way to do it. They didn't even put my bag on the plane and had to send it with the next one coming. To their credit, they did drive it out to my house when it got here."
Pros: "Always have great experience with Delta flight attendants and staff. The entertainment on mobile phone was a really nice add-on, I had never seen before."
Cons: "Flight was delayed in taking off, waiting for connecting passengers. Plane was old, which is most Delta planes, but this one showed it. The tray table looked like it was from the 70s or 80s. Flying into Midway instead of O'hare was anticlimactic."
Pros: "I have not traveled on Delta for years. And this experience was great checking to boardING then the service was great. But I have to back up. The customer service on the phone that helped me adjust my flight, she was great. So I have to say delta was great"
Cons: "The first class food was okay for the length of the flight."
Cons: "we had to get off plane and use another one. a hr delay but it wasn't that a bad .better to break down on the ground than in the air"
