Cons: "The flight was delayed 6 hours. The snacks I wanted were unavailable. When we finally landed we were taken off the plane in the back of the airport down stairs attached to the plane and loaded onto a bus and taken to the airport underground. Worst experience ever."

Cons: "Another passenger was in my assigned seat. When I called him on it, he acted all confused, but made no effort to move. I had to put my bag in a further bin because there was no room in the one next to my seat and when I returned to my seat, the man was still there. I told an attendant, but the man only gave me the number of HIS seat and told me it was the same. I told him it was NOT the same. I assumed he wanted to sit next to a friend, so I just let it go and the flight attendant just kind of drifted away. I also didn't want to be the one getting tackled by an Air Marshall for causing a fuss. Turns out, that man didn't even know the person he was sitting next to. I suspect he just wanted to get out of the plane sooner. Either way, this shouldn't be allowed to happen - what's the point of choosing your seats if someone else can just take it from you?"

Cons: "First the flight was delayed for 1.5 hours as it left the previous city late, no reason was given, however when the plane finally arrived we boarded a hot plane that was experiencing electrical problems. The plane was rebooted multiple times, making it even warmer as the air was shut off with the plane. We waited on board at the gate for over an hour to be told we would deplane and reboard a new plane. All in I experienced a 3.5 hour delay on a late night flight. The second plane was much more comfortable, but didn’t make up for the long delays"

Pros: "This flight leaves out if Lovefield in Dallas, which is super easy. Everyone we encountered at Alaska Airlines was courteous & upbeat. Great customer service. Smooth efficient flight. Priced right if your timing is on."

Pros: "I would have to get the machine that the crew already tried to fix on a prior flight! My bad luck, for sure. And the2 people next to me talked the entire trip. So I thought I could just listen to music, but no. The flight attendant said that was gone together with the games. Not a good flight for me. I even moved to the bank of the plane, to read my book in peace, only to end up hearing 1 very loud FA talking!"

Pros: "I missed my flight by mere minutes. It was my responsibility to make it to the airport with ample time, but the doors closed on me with 7 min until scheduled take off. I understand the rule is that the doors close at 10 min before take off. The gate agent immediately put me on standby for the next flight and notified me that there was a good chance I could get on that flight."
Cons: "Did not get to sample the food as I fell asleep as soon as we got into the air. I kept waking up however because the seats were not very comfortable. There was not any space to recline the seats so my back was upright and it was difficult to be in a comfortable position. I have been in worse seats with other airlines, so the seats on this plane were not terrible, but travelers would benefit from an ability to recline, even slightly, and an adjustable neck padding."

Pros: "I loved the mood lighting on he plane, as well as the in seat media and food ordering functionality. I’m blown away and will be flying Alaska any time I can get. Probably the most comfortable economy seat I’ve ever sat in."

Cons: "The only downside was the plane had no food and the announcement wasn’t made until we were already boarding (they didn’t know either - not their fault). I was expecting lunch since I was in first class, but the crew did as well as they could to provide us with snacks."

Cons: "Alaska staff (in-person and over the phone) was rude and lacked compassion for loosing my luggage; They were very discourteous about my feelings for having to stay an additional 4 1/2 hours at LGA at the airport to wait for my luggage. I tried to explain that LGA was not my final destination and FedEx'ing my luggage (with no concrete time-frame of delivery) was not an option; I desperately hoped that a compromised could be reached but all staff we not empathetic towards my issue. I tired to explain that because I would now be missing my train to Philadelphia, and would be traveling late, on a Sunday evening, that I'd more likely to be stranded in New York state.The overall demeanor of the Alaska staff was more like 'take it or leave'. I felt like their inconvenience was not amended by a resolution that would make me feel comfortable about ever traveling with Alaska (or Virgin) again. I felt like a burden to an airline to could careless about time and money. This airline does not prioritize customer service. My original LGA arrival time was 440pm, and i was expecting to get home (Philadelphia) at least by 830pm, but because my luggage was misplaced, I missed my train, and the option of busing home. Fortunately, and unfortunately, my luggage was able to get on a late flight to LGA. I did not receive my luggage until 915pm, and did not get home/Philadelphia until 1230am courteous to me purchasing a second/expensive/emergency Amtrak ticket. Thanks Alaska -___-"
Pros: "They were helpful and polite while boarding and flying. They even give you a complimentary glass of wine or beer on board. All in all my experience was extremely pleasant. They have been much better than my experience last week with united. I would very much recommend Alaska if you have the option."

Cons: "We were rerouted through Helena, MT and had to rent a car and drive 2 hours to our destination. Due to the limited services into Montana through Alaska Airlines, we would highly consider another airline to accommodate future trips."
