I was exhausted from a long day. The flight was smooth. The first flight during my 3 week travel that took off on time.
Boarded early; and arrived home 40 mins early. After a long flight, it’s nice to be back home early. These flights have no amenities; no snacks. So need to bring your own
As I wrote earlier, poor planning and/or communication. At least twice, we were told that we would be boarding in less than ten minutes, only to have the flight again delayed at least another hour.
It was a red-eye, but the flight felt surprisingly quick. The seats were very comfortable, and that made resting much easier. I also want to thank the gentleman seated next to me, who graciously moved so my mom could sit beside me. We slept almost the entire way. The cabin crew was respectful in not disturbing us, while also being courteous and professional throughout. Thank you, United.
Terrible. No customer service, no food, no drinks on a 6 hour premier economy booking.

The LH flight was great except for the delay at boarding. It should be announced well in tme.
Compared with other carriers business class for an overnight was not worth the extra expense.
Nothing wrong with the flight itself. But due to 2+ hrs waiting in immigration and the additional security checkup in O’hare, I nearly missed the flight.
Another late flight from United. We never got the exact reason why. When we got on the plane, the staff seemed to spend a very long time just milling around in the front of the plane. I also never figured out why the door to the cockpit was open for so long prior to leaving. All in all just a poor performance again from United. There is a reason we did not choose United for the international legs of this recent trip, overall dissatisfaction.
Unlike my prior three connections on this latest journey, this flight was fairly good. Only issue was boarding as it was once again one of those Icelandic issues of bunch up, walk in the rain to a bus that then has you run up three flights of stairs to board the plain. I was in Saga class but the bus scramble eliminates any chance you get on first and have to then find a place to squeeze your carry on into an overhead that the people in economy populate so they can grab it on their way out up front. But unlike other Icelandic flights this journey I did find more the of the business class like accommodations then the other air segments. This one found a pillow and blanket waiting for me and I actually received a small cup of sparkling wine and had a bottle of water in place. Service was attentive and the flight departed and arrived on time. Received a menu and had choices of a hot or cold meal. I choose the hot which was cod and it was good. Decent size portion, salad and a choice of dinner rolls. Beverage menu was a selection of wines, beer and soft drinks. Desert was a small Tiramisu. Overall the six hour flight was a good experience for the price point.
We paid for saga class, which is the business class for international. My seat was broken and did not recline and my monitor for in-flight entertainment was broken.
The flight itself was fine, even with a one-hour delay leaving on the Reykjavik tarmac (the lost time was made up during flight). Our experience at the Reykjavik airport on arrival was terrible due mostly to the one hour it took for passport control. Only two stations were open for our category, and the room was full with a huge crowd.
Awful. The Iceland airport was a complete mess. Boarding was a chaotic, the seats were awful, there was a group of rowdy 20 something men in our row hooting and hollering, ordering alcoholic drink after drink. Yelling and laughing at the top of their lungs and the crew just went along with it. Passengers complained to the men, asking if they could keep it down (it was a night time flight so people wanted to sleep). They never listened crew continued to laugh with them, flirt with them and serve them more drinks. No free food or snacks, seats were horribly uncomfortable. Worst flight I've had in a long time
At least one soda free, felt like I was nickeled to death.
Friendly flight crew. Airplane (757) configured as a domestic flight (no lie-flat seats) & no advanced meal selection.

Waiting area on top of stairs before Boarding the bus wasn’t great. Took a long time to load the bus to gate.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!
flight was half full, plenty of empty seats, was able to lie down across 4 seats, food was good, arrived on time
Excellent service. The crew goes above their way to make the customer comfortable.
If the plain wait for the passenger it should wait for the baggage!!
It was great. The airline staff was very friendly. The FRA security was a bit harsh doing their job but friendly overall.
Check-in was very disappointing. My Seat reservation was no longer honored which I had for several months. Supposedly the monitor was damaged and the seat could not be issued. In the lounge I checked again and the seat had been assigned to someone else so I could not sit next to my wife and no other adjacent seats were available - except right in front of the bathrooms and galley. Very disappointing practices for business class!
Horrible. My gate did not get updated with our boarding pass. We didn’t receive any communication regarding gate change. Also not enough time was given in between flights. Zero consideration for people who are coming from abroad and have to get through customs and US border patrol
Overall experience is mediocre and the food was poor. I would avoid Lufthansa next time.
The smell of vomit from the previous flight was overwhelming for a 9 hour flight. There must be a chemical or product to kill the smell before the next flight boards??!!!
