Pros: Crew was nice. However the spirit airline attendant at the desk told me to gate check my bag. I stood there waiting for someone to grab my bag for sometime. So I asked the stewardess and she told me just to bring the bag in and put my carry on in the over head compartment.

Cons: However the desk attendant came on the aircraft took my bag out of the overhead compartment. And then left it outside or the plane. I waited at the airport for until 1:30am before I got a confirmation that the back was in fact at Newark still. I had a nursing convention to go to and I had no clothing. So I had to Uber to Walmart than Uber back to my hotel. So I didn’t get any sleep. I didn’t check into my hotel til 4am due to a negligent spirit employee. I paid for the checked bag and there was plenty of space in the over head compartment. She caused me unnecessary stress and an embarrassing morning with my administrators due to my lack of sleep.

Pros: The flight was on time.

Cons: No entertainment, no complimentary water, tea or coffee. On magazines.

Pros: Security line over an hour long, finally reached gate and was not allowed to board

Cons: Everything poor

Cons: If spirit would be like other airlines and offer even a drink without charging or something.

Pros: The crew was great. Flight attendant worked really hard to keep people moving and comfortable and safe. Pilots kept us informed.

Cons: The plane is a bit older and they need to update their fleet. Boarding process needs to start sooner. Not sure what is ... Took forever for them to board.

Cons: Our bags did not arrive to RDU, we had to wait till the next flight.

Pros: Once getting on the plane, experience was great. 15/10 on the inflight entertainment option. Was not expecting that luxury and was super grateful! Flight attendants were amazingly sweet and helpful. (Cali and Stephanie)

Cons: the gate was never posted on the mobile boarding pass, online, the tv next to the gate or the airport boards (it was never posted anywhere). Everywhere said TBD or was blank when everything else was filled. I only accidentally found the gate because I knew my flight should be boarding so I went to all the lines and it ultimately was the unmarked one and I had to ask the person at the desk. I almost missed this flight because the lack of communication on what gate the flight was from.

Cons: No frills airline that nickel and dime you for everything. By the time you pay for luggage and seats, the fare was comparable to a better quality airline. Tight seating, uncomfortable seats, no way to charge your phone or tablet. May as well pay for another airline and be more comfortable.

Cons: The brand new plane is very small and cramped. There is no pocket and the tray table is minuscule.

Cons: Spirit airlines is as cheap as they are on the front end because they have a ton of fees they charge on the backend, and it’s a 100% rip off. Very upsetting to know that the luggage is only 40 pounds And they charge for extra carry-on items.

Cons: I'm glad that it was a short distance, after I got on the plan and saw what must be some of the thinnest seats in the industry, which I have not scientifically evaluated, but, I do feel free to express my opinion. I would not have liked sitting in this seat for a longer flight. Also, the smallest tabletop I've ever seen would not have been suitable if I had decided to open up my full-size laptop for use.

Cons: The flight was delayed 4 times. The crew had an attitude with everyone on the flight and didn’t even try to be nice. I understand that it is an affordable airline but I will just go back to paying more for quality (from the chairs to the flight attendant service). It was overall an uncomfortable trip.

Cons: I paid $100 for an upgrade on a United which turned out to be the first row, and right beside the rest room (which was erroneously showing as occupied for the first 20 minutes). The traffic made it feel like I was sitting on a bench in Grand Central Station. I chose an aisle seat but ended up mysteriously in the middle seat. I had extra leg room but if I’d eaten the free 5 pretzels I wouldn’t have been able to fit it my seat any longer. The WiFi wasn’t working for the first hour of the flight. The flight attendant got really annoyed when we didn’t look up when he came by with beverages the first time. We all had headphones on and were looking at our personal screens. The activity by the rest room was constant so we didn’t notice it wasn’t just someone waiting for the loo. The luggage took so long to come out I thought my conference would be over before I got it. Overall, I thought it was bad and confirmed why I don’t fly United. Old, dingy planes, poor service. The pilot was pleasant and communicative so there was at least that...
