Cons: Headphone availability
Pros: Boarded plane back to front once Priority members boarded. Overall staff and Pilots were great. A quick flight of 75 minutes. Tea, coffee or water provided along with a small snack. Smooth flight and only minor delays which were handled in a timely manner.
Cons: Enforcing covid restrictions
Pros: Short flight good crew
Cons: Better seats and comfort. Better plane and at least a much more cleaner plane. These air planes are showing their age and need a refresh of the cabin.
Pros: Middle seats not booked. Cabin very clean, bathrooms kept tidy throughout trip. Very friendly crew. Appreciated cold drinks and selection of snacks,
Cons: The exit row 12B kept making a high pitch squealing noise...very unnerving
Pros: The little food packets were cool and convenient.
Pros: The cleanliness, the upbeat and sweet crew, the pilot did a great job taking of and landing, and controlling the turbulence. Communication was great.
Cons: More leg space
Cons: Customer service, the app defies the laws of physics, it blows and sucks at the same time, and email says expect a reply in 3 weeks. United thanks you Delta, they just gained 2 new customers!
Cons: The one member on the crew team was rude and harsh. Very poor customer service skills.
Pros: Crew did an outstanding job
Pros: I was moved up to comfort instead of main cabin.
Cons: The wifi didn’t seem to be working on the flight even tho it said it was equipped.
Pros: Crew was wonderful
Cons: For this COVID to be over
Cons: Boarding from rear to front.
Pros: Seat was not comfortable for a 3hr flight. Was very disappointed
Cons: Seat, tv, choices, flight attendants speech articulation.
Pros: Saftey measures great
Cons: Serve alcohol :)
Pros: Nice airline attendants!
Cons: Enforcing people wear masks over their noses!
Pros: Great crew, spacing of passengers, comfortable, on time
Cons: It was great! Nice job Delta !
Cons: We didn't really have social distancing on board but it was as good as could. be expected
Cons: Good for now
Cons: There should not be a pay wall around the internet in today's day and age
Cons: Felt unsafe. Guy with guns and how delta employees handled it blew my mind!
Cons: Better choices for food
Pros: No entertainment on the plane and plane was very small...
Cons: Explain flight situations better..
Cons: Significant delay of departure.
Cons: Drink service
Pros: Crew was awesome, super friendly and helpful. Even the korean food options tasted delicious.
Cons: Not plus size friendly. The bathroom is too small for a plus size person to be able to use and for a 14 hour flight I think that’s important. Also if you’re plus size and the person in front of you reclines, it’s impossible to pull down your tray fully.
Cons: The DCA airport was having some problem. 1.5 hours late. Not very good.
Cons: Best option across the pond
Pros: The seat was great, I wish all seats on the plane were that comfortable
Cons: Nothing, everyone was great
Pros: Every one but the gate agent at Detroit going to Seattle at 7:40 loading time on 4-11-19. She was mean and curt and would not get my seat corrected I had to sprint for at least a mile to even make it. We landed the same time they were boarding
Cons: The attendants on the Detroit to Seattle flight suggested I go talk to the gate agent to get my seat corrected. They said the flight was not full. So I did. To be greeted again by the mean agent you told me to take my rear and get it on the plane that the attendants didn’t know anything
Pros: The crew was amazing. Especially the pilot and copilot
Cons: Boarding process.
Pros: Able to watch a movie, even though can't finished it.
Cons: LATE DEPARTURE, LATE ARRIVAL IN ATLANTA. Good thing I brought some snacks. My seat was changed to the window (I hated it) instead of aisle as I pickedbefore when I checked in in Amsterdam. I should buy Virgin Air ticket for my round trip ATL-Ams vv, saved me about $250, if I knew it would be late
Pros: The inflight entertainment options were nice, I enjoyed the flight status option, and the USB port was very helpful.
Cons: Three hour delay due to wiring issues, cramped seating that made it impossible to get even the most basic of maps, and our flight attendant was upset that we didn't notify them that we were vegans in advance. We didn't know that they had vegan options, and weren't upset about not eating the in-flight meals. She was much more upset about it than we were and it made me uncomfortable refusing the food that I knew I couldn't eat. Other passengers even asked us if we had eaten anything. It was almost embarrassing.
Pros: The nice staff and entertainment options.
Cons: I usually fly delta and have a great experience - unfortunately my flight from Detroit to Seattle was not. To start off, i was flying with two other people and we were not able to get seats together, and the whole seating process with delta is really difficult even when I had called weeks in advance to see if they could try and seat us together. I understand with main cabin tickets you can only choose your seat as you check in, but it would be nice to be able to request seating with a person/group you are flying with. I was placed in the very back row of a busy flight, and noticed that the horrible smell from the bathrooms which made it unpleasant. As said above, I normally have a pleasant experience.. but being a delta sky member I feel as though i do not really receive any differences as to a non-member. I hope this review helps for the next customers! Thank you.
Pros: Flew premium economy/delta comfort + and was a great flying experience. A taste of business without the $3000+ ticket price. Food was excellent, a huge step above economy. Extra comfort with wider seats. And priority boarding as well. This was more like premium economy that you get with European airlines. For long haul flights, well worth the cost. Flight was delayed 2 hours, but Delta had their own special route in Shanghai airport to bypass a lot of the crowds either transferring or checking in for fight. I wouldn’t have made my connecting flight if they hadn’t. Plus my checked bags went straight thru to my final destination in china,n instead of having to pick up and re-check them in Shanghai.
Cons: 2-hour delay causes me to almost miss my connection. I know some passengers had to be transferred to different flights which they almost missed.
Pros: The Delta Help Desk at the airport was actually pretty helpful for the times I had to use them.
Cons: Flight was delayed....3 times(more?) from late at night to early morning the next day. Delta Help Desk rescheduled me and got me a room at Howard Johnson’s for the night. Called HoJo’s to confirm they had non-smoking rooms available. Got on the hotel’s shuttle bus and the driver announced that HoJo was full and all voucher holders would go to Rodeway Inn but those without vouchers would go to HoJo....huh!?? Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there.
Pros: Swift travel!
Pros: Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears.
Cons: When I bought my ticket last Nov , I paid extra to select seats, only to discover no aisle seats available for the 15 hour flight from LAX to Guanghzou. I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline.
Cons: Sat on the plane on the tarmac for over an hour in the cold...
Cons: Flights on time
Pros: Staff were friendly and worked hard.
Cons: Seats were very basic and not as good as the low cost carrier I normally fly out of the UK. Very old and noisy aircraft. Seemed little control over how much hand luggage passengers were bringing onto the aircraft.
Pros: Plane was clean, attendants were friendly, and food was fine.
Cons: I had a flight from Detroit to Montreal. Tried to check in and DTW was not a choice on the westjet website and so I physically could not check in. I realized the flight was technically operated not by WestJet, but Gojet. Went to Gojet's website and was told that Delta took care of all of their ticketing and such. Went to Delta's website, entered my ticket number and card number but I was not in the system as I was given all WestJet info (not Delta's). Luckily the baggage check in people figured it all out.
Pros: The seats were comfortable
Cons: Everything was fine
Pros: Crew was very rude and did not follow actual baggage policies regarding a passenger’s batteries in their bag that fit just fine in the overhead.
Cons: Crew could maybe re-read policy and use their logic to apply it correctly.
Cons: Flight was totally full... At least everyone had a mask on American does not space seats like Delta does I will be taking Delta whenever possible
Pros: Crew was great. Plane felt good and clean.
Cons: My flight from Gainesville to Charlotte, we had to deplane down plane steps. I was told we would have jetway every flight. I have had hip replacement and steep steps very uncomfortable. Unable to deplane down them with both purse and small carryon. Someone always has to help me carry my carryon plus theirs as there is no provision for help from the airline. American seems to be only airline to do this, I will have to reconsider flying with you in the future.
Pros: Leg room
Cons: The onboard crew was rude and one guy actually grabbed me which to me is unprofessional. All because I had a poster tube that wasn't in my bag they wanted it in my bag. Then I asked for a seat change due to my size hard for ne to be in the middle and the lady was snooty about it.
Pros: Getting from one location to my destination. Making sure to keep us updated on why we would be late to final destination.
Cons: No Dr Pepper, WiFi wouldn’t work, no entertainment, snacks were okay, crowded.
Cons: I bought WiFi for my iPhone on the flight and could barely use it because it kept kicking me off and was super slow.
Cons: I think boarding from rear would facilitate faster boarding And eliminate people blocking Aisle ( standing in aisle and digging In their carryons preventing people From finding their seats further down the aisle. Also people with a connecting flight Pressed for time on their next flight Departure...Should be allowed to deplane first..so they don't miss their next flight.
Cons: Foot room. Baggage room. Entertainment. Service
Pros: Flight attendants were amazing. Definitely some of the best I've ever encountered.
Cons: Crew at the desk were rude. They also enacted policies that I'd never seen before about gate checking, and implied I was crazy when I noted how unusual it was. I literally came off a previous AA flight with the previous policy and they said I was confusing them with AE.
Pros: Comfortable seats & fast boarding
Cons: As always, the crew was friendly, professional and accommodating.
Pros: Smooth ride
Cons: In a perfect world, no 2-hour delay.
Pros: Great crew and service
Cons: A small meal would have been appreciated for first class cabin. Al that was offered was a cookie.
Pros: Accommodation to any concerns
Pros: Th flight was a few minutes late boarding but we landed on time. It was a nice smooth flight!
Pros: The flight was on time and I was upgraded to First Class!
Pros: It was on time. I liked the head rests on the seats.
Cons: There was a lot of announcements on the very early flight trying to get people to signup for a credit card...too early for all those unimportant announcements :(
Pros: The seats were comfortable, the entertainment selections in the screen on the seat back were great, loved that there was more than one outlet for plugging in devices to charge, the sunset/sunrise lighting effect was really near
Cons: I honestly cannot come up with something that I did not lie
Cons: Airbus seems to have completely minimalized all legroom for persons over 6 feet.
Pros: Friendly, efficient
Cons: The Flight was inconveniently delayed and all they offered us were some cheap snacks and soda. I was completely annoyed by the whole situation.
Pros: The mobile updates were helpful and timely.
Cons: The overhead space was smaller on this plane and as I learned on my trip to DTW my weekender carry-on would not fit with my shoes in it. Because of this, I pulled my shoes out and put them in a collapsible bag that fit under the seat in front of me along with my small personal bag as I had done on my previous flight. However, the gate agent would not allow me to board the plane and would not listen to my explainations at all as I tried to keep the boarding process moving along. She kept repeating "you have 3 bags" and made me steep out of line and check my carry-on (which I would then have to pick up at baggage claim). When I asked why I couldn't get out on the jetway like she had done for other passengers she said, " I only did that for airline employees" (quick happened to be a flight attendant from Spirit). My overall experience on both flights to and from Detroit was that the gate agents and flight attendants were the most unhelpful and rude airline employees I have delt with and I will stick to my preferred carrier, Delta, for my future flights back and forth to Detroit. They certainly make me feel like a valued customer when I fly them, which I did not feel with American.
Cons: Wait for Baggage and 20+ mins getting to gate after we landed
Pros: Seat was slightly more comfortable than DELTA.
Cons: Families with infants/young children not allowed to board early. Flight was delayed by almost 3 hours and gate moved FOUR times while waiting for the delayed flight... That's a LOT of moving when you're hauling a cranky 1 year old around the airport long after we were supposed to already be at our destination. Desk attendants were abrupt, not friendly, and diamissive when I came up to ask for a stroller tag.
Pros: Sears are comfortable and the entertainment is great as well.
Cons: Not much to dislike.
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: Flight was quick- onboard entertainment (streaming videos to your device) was cool...but the back of the plane is pretty bumpy and there was a lot of turbulance.
Pros: All flights were on time. American Airlines personal is extremely friendly
Pros: The least service I have seen among all the airlines I have traveled so far
Pros: Nice entertainment on new 737.
Cons: But it is a 3-3 and there no room to sit cause we are hip to hip which means shoulders overlap shoulders. It is horrible. Avoid this plane at all costs. It's really bad. Pitch of leg room is barely OK but side to side they have sunk to a new low. The new plane doesn't blow any air. Terrible system. Really? That should be easy to fix.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: They lost my luggage and that was horrible but they delivered it to my hotel which was nice.
Pros: Seats were comfortable, the plane was clean, and all flights left and landed as scheduled. Actually, they landed and unloaded is early! Would recommend if you don't mind paying extra $25 to check a bag.
Cons: That no checked bags are included in the flight costs. They didn't hide this or surprise me, but just a dislike.
Pros: Getting bumped to First Class
Cons: Lots of empty seats but was not available seat choice options when checking in
Cons: My first flight was canceled then they took it upon themselves to bump me off the next light and put me on the latest flight where I got there at 11 o'clock at night then on the way home it was delayed again I missed my connecting flight and then he put me on the latest flight again it was a complete nightmare
Pros: On time departure and arrival. Plane was clean and seating was not uncomfortable althouth they didn't recline very much. Short flight so it was o.k.
Pros: Loved that he was upfront with all of us that it would be a bumpy flight after about 20 minutes, which he was correct and very accurate.
Cons: I thought his delivery sounded a little more "worrisome" than it needed to be. I thought that he could have expressed the same sentiment, while sounding more confident in his ability and more soothing for folks like me who despise turbulence:)
Pros: I enjoyed the whole experience. The staff was friendly and the plane was clean.
Pros: The flight overall. Also, it landed early.
Cons: In Charlotte, they had to deplane on the tarmac and my daughter had a crutch, so she had to sit on the steps to go down them.
Cons: Turbulence, not there fault
Cons: Chaotic boarding Multiple delays Unfriendly ground staff
Cons: They changed my flight schedule. God my refund, but missed my business trip
Cons: Flight was canceled with no option to leave until the next day
Cons: Flight was changed without notice did NOT go to Charlotte instead flew Detroit to Dallas! To Tampa- a little out of the way. After we were checked in and ready to board I then got a call to notify me the flight was changed. Boarding was awful made me check small carry on when there was several open over-head compartments and several others were walking in with two + carry ons. How do you explain that? I will NEVER fly American Airlines again. The airplane from Dallas to Tampa was ancient, a little scary to even think it was still in the air. The air conditioning was minimal I could hear other passengers complaining it was extremely uncomfortable.
Pros: The pilot got us home to Detroit!
Cons: Flight delay after flight delay after a terrible experience with Spirit and having to switch to your airline.
