So I had to use audio from neighboring (empty) seat and sync it with video from screen for my seat. What a pain!"

If the person in front of me reclined all the way, they crushed my knees and I'm only 5'7". - Bathrooms were dirty by 4 hours into the 14 hour flight. Sinks clogged, garbage can overflowing. Not just one bathroom. Gross. - Worst flight attendant service I've ever had, and I don't expect much since I've traveled a lot. Service was rushed, coffee cart for our side of plane never arrived, when I walked to the back to ask for some, they couldn't find the milk and made a fuss about looking for sugar. Lots of similar examples throughout the flight. - The baggage claim carousel number never appeared on the screens at IAD after landing. Other flights showed but not Quatar. We waited a while then walked around to check them all until we found the right carousel. Never seen this happen before. - One of our bags never appeared, so we waited until all luggage had come out and checked with the counter. They found our bag somewhere and brought it over after a 20 minute wait. No explanation given. Good thing we'd counted bags."

Cons: "The boarding process feels very hostile, they are not nice and you are threaded as a terrorist (while they smile at you during the process). Since a new policy of TSA according to them, you cannot take your computer with you in the plane. This means that working in your way back is very hard and you will be loosing the day which is very uneficient. But what was even worse, is that they didn't allow me to check my bag in the last connection gettting to the US, instead they made me check it from my original destination which made me loose almost two days of work without giving me a logic response on why I couldn't check my bag from my inbound flight to the US. By the way, this protocol from TSA is terrible. No internet in their flights No chargers plugs in all of their flights (including the ones that take you more than 4 hours) Lunch in their 15 hours flight is mediocre, everyone was starving since they only gave us one mini empanada."

After 20-30 minutes of wait, I finally got my ticket but the security and custom lines were very long by that time. Never flying Qatar again."

The security area is not properly designed for accomodating many people at one time and the officials (actually two cleaning personnel) who did not speak anything but Turkish were manning the entrance. Cons: "We did not like anything about the trip to Houston from Istanbul. To sart with, we were told by Turkish Airline staff to go to the gate more than 1 hour EARLIER than the flight to Houston. Once we arrived at the gate, we were told "I cannot help you with anything about your flight. That is another department" and we to wait our turn and wait for someone to take us down the jetway. We waited for 75 minutes (1.25 hours) until after EVERY OTHER PASSENGER was on board. The flight attendant was unresponsive to us, talked down to my husband and me in a way that was insulting, rude, demeaning and very nasty. When another passenger complained that he did not get the seat that the attendant just changed for him, FOUR flight attendants helped him - one person got on the phone with someone (I don't know who), another went down to his seat to see where he was sitting. Yet another came and tried to explain why they couldn't help and finally a fourth tried to speak with another attendant on board. Whether or not his problem was solved, I don't know, but this was in the middle of our conversation (with only one attendant, I will add), and so his attention was taken away from us and put on him. Our seats were changed from seats closest to the bathroom to the middle of the plane. My husband cannot walk so 14 rows walking was not possible. I will say that finally, it took three volunteers who offered their seats to us to sit near the much needed bathroom. Regarding being seated near the bathrooms, when we asked for an aisle chair (that they told us they had on board) we were told to "stand there. we will get one in around 10 minutes). And, the wheelchair was sent all the way to the BAGGAGE CLAIM and NOT GATE CHECKED, when we arrived in Houston, we can clearly see the frame is bent, the wheels are out of alignment and the brake is also bent out of shape. The wheelchair is a custom made chair just for my husband. We will be sending Turkish Airlines the bill for a new chair if it cannot be repaired. I hope you can see to address these problems. I am not hopeful it is not normally like this for Jews who wear their head coverings. We would welcome a further conversation about our experience in hopes that others do not have the same one we did. Vivian and Henry Blum"

They didn’t let me in because they close the gate they said?? They have me payed for another thicket to I take the next flight They are so weird, even when you called the customers service they will do nothing for you, like they don’t live in our planet!! Trust me stay away from this turkish airlines"

When I brought this to the flight attendant's attention, none of them was apologetic and none of them tried to find out another solution to me, who was flying their airline the first time and didn't know the not-so-diverse food option."

There were two lines where passenger did line up in than others cut the line claiming they had connecting flights. Those in charge never verified whether they were connecting to another flight. Never asked for their boarding pass. I heard some laughing saying they did no have connecting flights. I better job and method of handling this situation is needed as long as the ban is in effect. Otherwise, Turkish airlines is fine. My wife and I have traveled most airlines and travel extensively. So, we are aware of good service and bad. Your service minus the electronic equipment is good."

Cons: "Boarding process was delayed and there were no updates to tell us about it. I was feeling ill and asked a crew member for water she told me she would run and get it and I saw her walking around for 45 minutes before I asked her again and it took her another 30 minutes. In that time I watched her fulfill requests for headphones and other unecessary items. We were sat directly behind a screaming baby and directly in front of 3 wildly misbehaving children for the entire 10 hr flight. The crew allowed the family behind us to sit 5 people to the 4-person row, including a 7-year old sitting on the mom's lap who kicked seats and pulled my hair over the top of the seat. I recognize that misbehaved children are not the fault of the airline but it seems like in the future grouping families with children together might be a resolution. We went 10 hours without sleep because the kids kept kicking our seats and sticking their feet through our armrests. The airline also offered zero vegetarian food options for this flight (unlike others which offered pasta). We went 10 hrs having eaten a single bread roll and a bowl of pudding. After these two flights I'll likely never fly Turkish again."

Cons: "The entry to the plane in Istanbul was complicated--double checking at the gate for security and then also the boarding entry. The lines were crowded and disorganized and began late. After we were on the runway, we actually turned around and went back to the gate to let one sick passenger off. the flight attendants went up and down the aisles multiple times opening bins and asking people if the luggage was theirs or not before we could leave the gate again. It was really disorganized and bizarre. The flight itself was fine. The flight attendants weren't overly friendly, and they were missing during longer stretches, leaving passengers to find refreshments on their own. Beyond that, things were thankfully uneventful."

We didn't know that they had vegan options, and weren't upset about not eating the in-flight meals. She was much more upset about it than we were and it made me uncomfortable refusing the food that I knew I couldn't eat. Other passengers even asked us if we had eaten anything. It was almost embarrassing."

Cons: "Flight was delayed....3 times(more?) from late at night to early morning the next day. Delta Help Desk rescheduled me and got me a room at Howard Johnson’s for the night. Called HoJo’s to confirm they had non-smoking rooms available. Got on the hotel’s shuttle bus and the driver announced that HoJo was full and all voucher holders would go to Rodeway Inn but those without vouchers would go to HoJo....huh!?? Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there."

Cons: "I began asking for my wheelchair escort the minute I got off the plane. I was assured in Houston they would be there when I got to Detroit. They were not. The request was clearly spelled out on my boarding pass along with my personal oxygen equipment information. I kept asking different staff and they would call for me then say somebody would be there. I waited for an entire hour and only when I started to cry did somebody do something. It was terribly stressful."

Cons: "When I bought my ticket last Nov , I paid extra to select seats, only to discover no aisle seats available for the 15 hour flight from LAX to Guanghzou. I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline."

Her attitude was less than desirable upon seeing the situation. Also my luggage never arrived in Singapore. Shanghai didn't have any notification, so I assume it was lost on the Delta end. Overall I am very disappointed and will be seeking a non-delta affiliate for my next trip."

Pros: "I was traveling with my young daughter (3 years old) and wife. The crew was really welcoming and accommodative of us. My little girl got the Delta wings pin (including a second one when she lost the first one), and was able to visit the flight deck. Extra kudos for my daughter being able to see a female pilot! :-)"

Cons: "My flight from Detroit to Denver was suppose to land at 1:15 ish and I had an interview to make at 3:30 thinking that I would have plenty of time to grab my bags and and get a cab to greenwood which is where my interview was. The flight was delays almost 3 hours and I was not able to make my interview which was the whole reason I flew to Denver in the first place. I understand that things happen but now Im out of a possible job that I was interviewing for and I am also out the $250 that I spent on the flight. The flight was delayed because they didn't have a crew to fly the plane which blindside is always 20/20 however it seems like pretty poor planning."

I have many friends and family who lives in canada and usa but by facing this bad behaviour and problems never ever recomnd your airline to any of them."
Cons: "The climate control didn't work properly the whole flight. We sat on the tarmac for about 30 minutes after boarding. We sat in the plane for about 15 minutes after landing and the whole time the air wasn't working. Couple that with the fact that I was seated in the row in front of the emergency exit which actually has less room than a normal seat and it made for a miserable flight"

They only served beverages with dinner and never again in 8 hours of flying. Bathrooms had urine and toilet paper all over them. They were absolutely disgusting. I have been in subway bathrooms that were cleaner. This was the first time flying Delta and it will be the last time."

The attendant kindly asked around and unfortunately no one offered their seat. Once all passengers had boarded the plane, the row in front P1's seat had an empty middle seat. The attendant kindly asked the passenger that was sitting next to P1 to move to the seat in that row so that P1 had extra space. It was great to see how attentive and accommodating the attendant was to P1's concerns/needs. Great customer service from him and the rest of the crew staff."

Cons: "The only thing more disgusting than this plane was the stench of Wendy's fast food-which nearly half the passengers thought appropriate to bring onboard despite being in enclosed space with others. After the door was closed we were asked to sit at the gate while maintenance cleared an error code... we were stuck there, in a hot metal tube, festering in the fetor of cooked animal carcass. Isn't there some sort of air filter for this?"

She checked with me personally as we were disembarking in FRA to see how my flight was. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was the highlight of the flight. If I fly again, I will definitely fly Lufthansa for flight crew like her. I skipped the evening meal as I was feeling unwell, but I had the breakfast. The fresh fruit, and especially the watermelon was delicious. There just wasn't enough of it."

Cons: "Flight was late departing Cairo Changing flights from Cairo to Amsterdam was scheduled at 50 minutes. I asked the male flight attendant about changing airplanes, said our new gate was right next to our arriving gate. He said no problem. He failed to mention we had to go through customs and security again, and walk almost a Kilometer in the process. Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. I did not appreciate the lack of information from the flight attendant, however holding the plane was a godsend."
Cons: "My parents were traveling, they dont speak english and I verified with Austrian airlines that they would be assisted at the gates and that they had the correct visas for each airport they had a layover in. I was assured there would be no problems. Upon boarding they were not able to get on their flight. I have never had so many communication issues and frustrations in the middle of the night with an airline. disappointed."

Cons: "My first flight with Austrain Airlines was 2 hours late in leaving, partly because they mixed our baggage up and had to have each of us leave the airplane to identify our baggage before getting back on again. Because of this, I missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Apparently hundreds of other passengers were in a similar situation, because I spent the next 6.5 hours standing in line to getting my new itinerary and hotel vouchers."

Cons: "Although AU blamed late arrival of the plane from Russia, fact is that the plane was at least one hour at the dock before boarding and the AU team was just extremely slow to get boarding done. We were all invited 45 minutes before boarding to board, when apologies were already offered for the slight delay, which turned into 1.5 hour overall. Worst is the lack of communication during the 45 minute wait, for which I have little understanding seeing many older people clearly suffering."

This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"
Pros: "This isn't really the flight, but see below for lack of personnel at Vienna airport to help locate gates after our flight arrived very delayed. I was running with a cane, and getting very upset when an airport employee with a cart asked if he could help. He took me to the gate I thought was for my flight, but it was for a DIFFERENT flight to Zurich. He calmed me down and drove me to the correct gate, talking the agent there to make sure it was the right one before he left me there. I wish I had time to get his name because he was very kind and helpful and I don't know what I would have done without him - wouldn't have made the flight, that's for sure. (He was in vicinity of gates F 3 - 13 on Sunday June 11 approximately 5:15 - 5:30pm Vienna time, if anyone wants to know)"
Cons: "Our flight was delayed almost one hour. Even though I had only one hour between flights, I was told (in Split) that all flights would be delayed, so no worries. On the plane, they gave information for some flights; for the rest of us they just said, go to your gate (for connecting flight) as quickly as possible. Flight landed at 5:05pm. When I walked out of plane (I was using a cane; recovering from broken ankle so have some trouble walking distances), there was no board with flight info, just immigration. Finally I saw a flight board, and had 10-15 minutes walk still. Also, signage wasn't great. I called after an Austrian Airline flight attendant who was also leaving, but she never heard me. Finally I found the right direction, still had security to go through. I was running with the cane (not good for my ankle). Essentially there was no help. Until a man driiving one of those carts helped me - I write about him above in what I liked about the flight."
