Pros: "We were offered food and drinks (including basic cocktails) continuously throughout the flight. Hot hand towels, comfortable seats, dozens of movies and TV series, all included with basic fare. The flight attendants were kind and helpful. Excellent service and organization!"
Pros: "Standard Air France flight. My wife and I like the Airbus 380."
Cons: "The flight left two hours late. Apparently this happens a lot with this flight these days because it's an Airbus 380 coming from Paris to Dulles and turning around. The incoming flight was two hours late, so the departure was late. Our arrival in Paris was late. We made the flight, but our luggage didn't. Our return flight from Paris to Dulles was half an hour late because of people from connecting flights. We arrived about 30 minutes late, but no big deal (unless you had a connection)"
Cons: "It was not acceptable and very disappointed that flight DL391 from SDQ to NY-JFK was delayed till it left at 4:40pm because there were no crew members to bring the aircraft to STO DGO the night before as it is usually done so that the aircraft sleeps over in las Americas. We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."
Pros: "Flight attendants were nice based on the situations beyond their control."
Cons: "Flight was delayed for about three hours, due to mechanical issues with the second engine not starting. We sat on the the plane for over an hour and half. Some people that missed their connection flights were offered hotel stay. Others that had no connection flight was not offered anything for the several hours of delay that occurred."
Pros: "The on time departure. The air hostesses were very attentive. Fast baggage arrival"
Pros: "The chekc in person was very helpful."
Cons: "The plane was too hot and the pilot did not accommodate the passengers request. More than just me made the same request."
Cons: "I have traveled with my luggage plenty of times through airports and the flight from washington to jacksonville, my luggage came back to me cracked and broken. I was surprised that Delta handling was worse than any of the cheaper flights I normally take and will not be checking any baggage with Delta again."
Cons: "Seeing as I’m still waiting for my flight, more than five hours later I am not inclined to rank it highly. This airport is an embarrassment and I will try my best to never fly Delta again. Weather is no excuse for this."
Pros: "My flight was canceled but Delta rebooked me on a flight leaving at about the same time as my original flight, which arrived just a little later than originally anticipated"
Cons: "My original flight was canceled"
Cons: "Delayed two hours"
Pros: "Updated plane. Had usb charging available!!"
Pros: "staff was good, flight was not so good"
Cons: "Hated the storm we flew through, luggage came out of overheads....ugh"
Pros: "Flight attendants and cookies. That's it."
Cons: "We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."
Pros: "I'll chalk it up to the insanely high travel demands coincident with Labor Day."
Cons: "There delay"
Pros: "The staff was so friendly, and funny!! Loved the movies offered and snack choices. Updated aircraft"
Pros: "Delta has always be a step above the rest. Traveling with my children is not a problem and frowned upon with Delta. I rarely choose competitive airlines and will continue to use Delta as much as possible."
Pros: "The flight was very comfortable and quick. I like the coffee when I pair it with a biscoff."
Cons: "The boarding process seems a bit chaotic, but it didn't really detract from the overall experience."
Pros: "Boarding was smooth. Gate rep helped us kindly and then the flight attendant was very friendly."
Cons: "I didnt like that my flight was canceled and rebooked for no reason. This created me big problem in Athens that they couldnt find my ticket in delta. Also I didnt like that i had to stand and wait for 3 hours in the line because my flight was canceled but no one could let us know if there gonna be any flights within the day. I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."
Pros: "The flight was smooth and the food selection was surprising delicious. The crew was very attentive."
Cons: "The leg room was much less than the last time I flew Virgin (booked via Delta) and made for an uncomfortable trip. Could not sleep as a result. If you're tall like me you'll need to book a higher seating category."
Pros: "Everything was great"
Cons: "Nothing everything was fine"
Cons: "The new boarding pillars with Priority, Sky, Zone 1, Zone 2, etc was a mess. In concept it should be a good process, but it was just a sea of people asking each other which boarding group they were in. Going back to asking those who are in a particular boarding zone to form a line and doing so each zone at a time seems like a smoother process."
Cons: "Had to buy a one-way ticket on American, as Delta would not move me to another airline,"
"Flight was delayed by one hour, then another 1/2 hour then cancelled and changed till the next day. We were not allowed to get our luggage & put up in a dirty hotel. I had cockroaches in the bathroom. When I finally arrived home…i noticed the airline had damaged the zipper on my suitcase."
Pros: "The crew was super nice, they offer me to change my seat to fly with my sister."
Cons: "The pilot"
Cons: "The seats are extremely restrictive and in a aisle seat I had the gentleman sitting next to me with thighs touching and attendants brushing by me as I squished to left to avoid contact with him. Entertainment screen between center seat and window seat so I just didn't even try to look at it and mostly just leaned forward to have a little space. Also another inch or 2 was taken by person in front of me putting their seat back. With such restrictive space why is this even possible??? Flying has become ridiculous and I try not to as much as I can."
Pros: "Landed in one piece despite weather."
Cons: "WiFi was down"
Cons: "Why are seats so small?"
Cons: "Charlotte lost my bag and will not answer"
Cons: "We landed early but the plane was late 50 minutes into gate. Plane went pst our gate twice, just driving around the terminal."
Cons: "The flight was late with no explanation. The incoming equipment was at the gate in time."
Cons: "All Excellent"
Cons: "Speaker volume was too high."
Cons: "Plane was delayed 3 hours, then delayed 30 minutes more because a flight attendant went to the wrong terminal. AA offered food to us, but this was after I had purchased food from a restaurant in the terminal. Would have been nice to at least offer free WiFi on the flight."
Pros: "plane was completely full , but the seating seemed comfortable for the short flight ( 1 hour )."
Cons: "bags were a bit delayed in delivery to baggage claim."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Tiny seats, no snack or napkin with the drink. Noise in back."
Pros: "Crew had great personalities"
Cons: "Late to leave and arrive"
Pros: "Good boarding and on time departure."
Cons: "1) Very uncomfortable seats and spacement between the seats too small and you feel very cramped specially when the person in front of you reclines his seat you can hardly move. 2) Very poor attitude of crew member when asked a question when she was serving drinks. She had a very unpleasant face, and her attitude was like she was not happy on what she was doing"
Pros: "1) Puntuality in departing and arrival times 2) Very pleasant crew members"
Pros: "Nothing, okay the movie"
Cons: "Flight attendant in back rude from start to end for no reason."
Cons: "There were no TVs for each passenger especially for a 3+ hour long flight which was disappointing."
Pros: "Very nice crew. Thank you. I get to see my family."
Pros: "The flight crew was very friendly"
Cons: "I wish the flight was longer. :)"
Cons: "never made the flight. a day of misery thanks to poor communication within one world, AA rigidity, and chaotic long lines at FlightConnections, Heathrow."
Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour (which wound up being a 3.5 hour delay in total, with all the continual delays that pursued afterwards(, which would have made us miss our connecting flight back to our home destination. We switched flights in order to make it home at a decent hour and not spend our entire day and night in an airport. We arrived home and they did not transfer two of our three checked bags to our flight, thus making it highly inconvenient upon our arrival home with no luggage."
Cons: "The male flight attendant was incredibly rude, kept hitting my arms with his body with zero apologies. No manners when taking food and drink orders. Did not seem like he liked his job and in a customer service atmosphere this was extremely disappointing."
Cons: "Poor seating and lost my bag."
Cons: "I got tranafered to 4 different gates aand my flight was delayed for 3 hrs with no explaination and the staff didn't try to help"
Pros: "Leg room between seats"
Cons: "Temperature in the aircraft was extremely cold and when I asked the stewardess for a blanket one asked the other if there was a spare blanket and very bluntly answered no. Only toilet in economy class was cloughed up and was not functional therefore a very disgraceful situation, they sent me to the other toilet in 1st class area and there I notice several blankets on empty seats after I was told there weren’t any spare blankets."
Pros: "Power kept me working, big value to me"
Cons: "Seat in front of me was broken in the reclined position so I had no leg room."
Pros: "unAnnounced gate change"
Cons: "Running in airport"
Pros: "The seat pockets were decent, though I like when the magazines have their own designated slot behind the tray in addition to a pocket. Also good there were power outlets. I liked that they didn't skip row numbers, including 13. So if you're in row 22, for example, you know that's literally how many rows back you are."
Cons: "It took 25 minutes from when plane landed until it reached the gate. There was also apparently an issue with the auxiliary power -- the lights went out in back half of plane when we arrived at gate. I prefer having a screen behind each seat, rather than those attached to ceiling on this flight, so that the entertainment can be customized."
Pros: "Flight was on time. Easy to transfer luggage from an international flight to a domestic flight. The crew was accommodating. It is such a short flight that there were only pretzels and water without ice served on this flight. There was no entertainment on this flight. Small, clean plane for a less that 1 hour flight."
Pros: "The crew did everything they could for the passengers to make them comfortable and informed about the situation but unfortunately it was out of their hands."
Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."
Pros: "Boarding process and flight crew were just fine - nothing excellent, just average. The plane was an older model, nothing special. We arrived 10 minutes early but then had to wait 20 minutes for a gate."
Cons: "They had no alcohol and no entertainment on a Transcontinental flight from IAD to LAX. Also once we landed we had to wait 20 for a gate assignment."
Pros: "Clean, quiet, nice staff"
Cons: "Was late"
Cons: "A little bumpy"
Pros: "Flight got to gate 15 earlier than scheduled."
Cons: "But took one hour to get gate checked bag, which was mixed in with checked bags at bagged claim."
Pros: "Boarding the plane from the back first saved longer queues. Unfortunately people cheat and the boarding officers don't send them back to the right queue. Toilets were clean. Staff excellent. I was glad all my flights were stuffed to the gunnels. Presumably that is best for the environment rather than lots of planes with fewer passengers in each."
Cons: "Passport control with new computer ID checks was fast. Baggage was slow coming. I booked through Netflights and they didn't book me a good seat. If I could have changed it myself they should have told me. On the way to Tampa on 3rd March I couldn't check in within 24 hours and had to wait half an hour while they changed our plane. BA used to do short science programmes which I loved. Shame these have finished."
Pros: "Except for comments under what I didn't like. AA experience was O.K."
Cons: "The restrooms needed cleaned better. Big airplane lots of people, needs cleaned before, during, and after. Had to pay for the Wi-Fi, that I used for 30 min, basically for E-Mail."
Pros: "Everything went smoothly"
Pros: "Friendly, helpful flight attendants. Flight left and arrived on time, despite being completely full (asking for volunteers to bump). Offered to gate-check our carry-on bags for free to alleviate crowding of overhead bins was fine for us since we already had checked baggage."
Cons: "If you don't pay for the premium seats, the legroom is pretty tight. I'm only 5'8" and I felt it -- if you're 6'+ you better pay for it. This aircraft had screens, but not individual ones so you're stuck watching whatever sitcom replay they pick, although there is a moderate selection of other music. I've been on a newer aircraft with the in-seat power and interactive screens so I know how good it can be, so this was a little disappointing."
Pros: "The only thing I liked was how polite and helpful the staff was at the airport."
Cons: "The flight attendants both seemed unhappy and we're not very polite. They hardly came through the cabin at all. It took a while to get anything. They mostly just stayed in the back talking to each other. The pilot didn't greet us. Just stood there when we walked in. And there was a kid screaming for most of the trip. My seat was broken and wouldn't recline. This was my first trip flying, and on the trip to Miami I flew with Delta. The service with them was tremendously better. I was really disappointed."
Cons: "Sat on the ground for an hour."
Cons: "The flight was incredibly delayed."
Cons: "Each flight delayed at least an hour"
Pros: "I did like sitting on the left side of the plane. There's a little more room. I feel it's horrible how the airline charges so much and cram so many seats in one air craft. Making it a miserable flight."
Cons: "See above"
Pros: "I really like the crew on this flight, they were very polite and very friendly."
Cons: "Boarding again same comment as above. Comfort was good because I had paid for an upgrade which I actually thought I was paying for the international flight but found out it was actually for the Charlotte flight which was a surprise it was not very clear from the tool. So hence the Comfort was great on this flight. But the tool needs to make it much more clear as to what you are selecting the upgrade for. Food, there has got to be something else out there other than pretzels, I understand why we do not have peanuts, but a little bit more variety would be very nice. I understand there's a cost tractor, but often pretzels tend to be fairly stale. Short flights entertainment."
Pros: "The crew was very helpful and kind."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed over an hour and we had a connecting flight to Vegas that we were worried we were going to miss."
Cons: "We sat on the runway for more than an hour."
Pros: "The crew was excellent and the plane was new."
Cons: "The seats are entirely too close together. If I wanted to be crammed in uncomfortably close to the seat in front of me, I would have chosen a budget airline like Spirit. I am not a large person by any means in terms of height or weight, and I cannot imagine how anyone who is relatively tall could ever be comfortable on your airline. Will not likely book again."
"It was dirty"
"The flight actually was fine. Just a lot of delays."
"United makes Spirit look great"
"Seating less than desirable, multiple seats on the plane open w no option to change"
"Weather :0( 2-hour delay on the tarmac"
"Flight updates was outstanding"
Pros: "The atention"
Cons: "The 5 hour flight was extremely full. No chance of social distancing. Did not feel safe for my family."
Pros: "La atención súper mal La azafata con una mala actitud cuando me hacia una pregunta Retraso de más de una hora en la salida del vuelo"
Cons: "Necesitan una mejor capacitación en la atención al cliente las azafatas"
Pros: "The airline tried to keep us as comfortable as possible in the airport. The crew was fantastic."
Cons: "Since we were in DC, I don't know why it took four hours to bring in another plane, since we were so close to major cities."
Cons: "We did not have dinner as we tried to get some sleep on this 6.5 hour overnight flight to London. The 767 was in a 2-3-2 configuration for economy plus and general economy. Thankfully they kept the temps cool to the point where we used our coats as additional blankets. I appreciated that the FA’s did not wake us for dinner and they closed my window shade at some point. They were 100% polite and helpful. That said, with the new Polaris Business Sears, UAL has eliminated the restrooms between Business and Economy. So it is a very long walk to the restrooms from Econ Plus and it appears that there are only 4 restrooms for about 120 passengers. Absurd. My family made do because we used the restrooms in the middle of the night when most people were sleeping but this would have been a nightmare after breakfast or with a small child. It appears that UAL has gone for profit over customer satisfaction."
Cons: "Very small cramped aircraft"
Cons: "Flight was canceled Costumer service was terrible Had to weigh 26 for flight to Indianapolis"
Cons: "Food could of had a better selection but wasn’t the worst I’ve had"
Pros: "The controlled and orderly way when boarding."
Cons: "The staff from the desk was unfriendly. On boarding no one showed you where your seat is located. The food was dreadful. The same aweful pasta meal on the outbound journey was served again. During the flight I was feeling very unwell I asked the flight attendant our axeick bag which she brought, but I was told to go to the toilet. She did not return to enquire after my well being. I was in the toilet for 5 minutes. Very uncaring. The tea was cold when served"
Pros: "Smooth flight"
Cons: "The tray cannot be pullled closer for eating. The seat sitting up is very uncomfortable for reading. I would have liked a pillow. Th poor man in front of me asked for a coke after the meal service was done, and the flight attendant said she had to reserve it for the next flight?! The male announcer flight attendant was very hard to understand, some of his words were slurred and garbled. And the volume was always too loud for both the male and female announcers. There was no entertainment unless you downloaded the app."
Pros: "Good plane good entertainment"
Cons: "Chaotic boarding. Attendants could not put could together. I bought business ckass tickets to my daughter and her husbandfie their honeymoon. They could not use the business lounge: when they arrived they were told that they needed to wait in front of the boarding gate. They waited two hours asking many times why they could not get their seats. They were ordered to stand by and wait to be called. Finally they insisted and they got two sits but not side by side. It was too late to use the business class lounge. What a shame. Food was so basic. Noodles overcooked with few veggies that all. Cabin attendants we're stressed and rude"
Cons: "It appears united is unable to fly their planes on times, in particular on the East Coast. We were delayed by 90min on each legs"
Cons: "Our flight to Munich arrived late. And our connecting flight to Milan was originally scheduled to leave just 50 minutes after our arrival in Munich. We did not make our flight to Milan and have lost a half day of time at our destination, as well as more than $100 in non-refundable Italian train tickets. Even if our plane had arrived to Munich on time it would have been nearly impossible to make our connecting website. Flight pairings with this short of a layover should not be suggested at this airport when travelers are required to go through passport control."
Pros: "Staff is great and on time"
Cons: "It was Hot...AC was not really working"
Cons: "Lufthansa as an agent is a mistake! I had to deal with them prior to flying to the US. I have never ever had to deal with such bad service in my entire life. United was great though and I highly recommend them."
Pros: "The pilots were informative with their announcements and we were informed of turbulence before it started. We also got in ahead of schedule. I also appreciated being able to ask for a glass of water between services as I had fallen asleep."
Cons: "The negative experiences started before we got on the plane. Boarding began slightly behind schedule and was very disorganized. People were all standing in the boarding area and out into the walkway for the concourse. I feel it would be better to have boarding groups come up individually or two at a time. (While group one boards, group two convenes. Once group one has boarded, invite group three to take their place.) Once group three had boarded, an announcement was made that there was no overhead bin space availble for the entirety of group 4. It seems a bit ridiculous that nearly half the plane wouldn’t have overhead space. It took awhile to board group 4 as everyone had luggage to check and once we finally got down the jetway, we had to wait another few minutes before being able to get to our seats as the flight attendant for first class insisted on taking drink orders while she stood in the aisle. I understand this is a perk of first class but I feel it could be better executed. These seats are boarded in group one so to have drink orders incomplete by the time group four is trying to board is irritating at best and incompetent at worst. Once finally at our seats, it became apparent that the announcement about lack of overhead bin space had been made a bit early. The bins were on the full side but they definitely had space available. Also, much of the space had been taken up by jackets and bags that would have fit under the seats; which I felt could have prevented nearly all of the checked bags. The flight was uneventful with minor annoyances like having to pay for entertainment and any sort of food. Even southwest provides entertainment free of charge and I consider them to be more of a budget airline. If I fly Lufthansa again, I will not take a domestic flight through United and will instead book via southwest to and from the international airport Lufthansa flies out of."
Pros: "Despite sitting in the middle seat and being well over 6 feet, there was room."
Pros: "The price, the mango sorbet, short flight into Belgium, the coffee, the water being offered often"
Cons: "The tray was very dirty and obviously had not been disinfected from the previous flight. So I brought it to the attention of one of the crew members, and I felt like she made fun of me in front of other passengers for not liking my tray dirty; and she got a little paper towel for serving, wet it with a bottled water, and wiped my tray quickly. Not hygienic at all and not a word of apology. AIR FRANCE is so much better when it comes to customer service! Also I did not like the constant interruption on the speakers, very loud in my headsets and difficult to watch a movie on tiny screens. The crew members seemed very bossy and uncaring, if not actually rude."
Pros: "Nothing really everyhing was mediocre."
Cons: "Delayed baggage, smelly flight, food"
Pros: "Terrific Gate Team in Houston, who were extremely helpful with my current disability (my foot is in a walking boot). Gate agent immediately approached me once I got to the gate (via wheelchair) to see if I needed anything else. Then she took it upon herself to move my seat so that I had an empty row on the flight to prop my leg up on the flight, which was excellent customer service. She anticipated my needs & exceeded them. She signaled for me to board early, so I had enough time & space to get down the ramp. Gate agents like her are hard to find these days. I wish there were more agents like her. Flight to Indy- Plane were more spacious between the seats. My knees had 6”-8” between them & the seat in front of them. It was a new plane, so if this is the direction that United is going with their aircrafts, they will have lots of happy flyers."
Cons: "It was recommended to download the United app for free inflight Enterainment once I purchased the inflight WiFi. After purchased, none of the movies or tv shows would play. It seemed like slow WiFi was making it impossible to utilize the Entertainment promoted by United."
Pros: "Clean aircraft good entertainment, cockpit crew polite"
Cons: "The check in staff were unbelievably rude nearly looked and were abrupt and dismissive to a simple question. The cabin crew looked scruffy, and clearly had a lack of pride in their job and presentation. This is the first time I have ever flown United and I must say I would avoid flying with them again if possible, which is a shame and the aircraft and the entertainment on board were good"
Pros: "The check in was good. The craft was clean."
Cons: "2 short a trip to serve food"
Pros: "Boarding was smooth enough"
Cons: "I'm a disabled person, I need an aisle seat for my long legs and busted knees, but the aisle seats had about 1/3 the space for feet as the other seats. My knees were pushing into the seat in front of me. Drinks went around once about 1 hour in to the 5 hour flight, but not again after that, though they came by to collect trash 5 times. Flight crew were polite, but some clearly didn't want to be there. This is the first flight I've ever been on where I was in tears from pain, and i felt like i couldnt ask for water or even the wheelchair I needed after the flight."
Pros: "The ease of booking the flight and forgetting it until the day I left was awesome."
Pros: "The short lines for boarding, but then again these were small flights. The flights taking off early when all passengers were boarded. The flights arriving much earlier than scheduled."
Cons: "The basic economy flight is bullshit. We both know that it's better to just buy an economic flight. So why even pretend and lie to customers to precast the basic economy flight knowing full well that's just going to force them to have to check in their bags which end up costing more than an economic flight? Why not just offer the regular economy flight price and leave it at that. If the overhead bins are full, offer the passengers a chance to check in their bags for free. What you're doing is preying on the poor who already do not have much which is why they choose the basic economy flight without realizing the full extent of the set up."
Pros: "Decent leg room. Wonderful to do the flight non-stop from NYC to Delhi."
Cons: "United. September 14 Newark to Delhi Premium Economy Entertainment screen didn't work for 1st hour of the flight. the movie list was mediocre at best. The screen was smeared with some substance. The list of movies on the United entertainment app is great (via internet) but connectivity on this type of flight is spotty so the traveler is forced back to the antique screen plane system. Dinner. Butter chicken or vegetable options. Food was bland and very small portions for the length of flight. The snack was delivered immediately after dinner was picked up. I did not open it. Looked like a hard roll with something on it. Style of service is abrupt, bordering on rude. Uses terminology that non-US travelers from different cultures would not understand, for instance do you want "white" coffee. Asked me if I had someone at home to pick up after me as she felt she was cleaning too much off the floor. Her comments appeared to be directed at me but it was not my trash (and even if it was, a better approach would be recommended). The flight attendant realized she had gone too far and apologized. Then complained about this "route" being difficult, with no one listening. She concluded by wishing me a good flight and saying that she hoped that she had not offended me. I assured her that she had. Breakfast was mediocre. Egg with soggy potatoes and an inedible sausage. Did not see what they were offering in the veggie dish. Staff seems tired and not culturally sensitive. There needs to be some retraining and consideration given to long haul menus and entertainment. I take this flight at least once a year. It continues to deteriorate."
Pros: "Crew were amazing, so friendly and helpful Entertainment system was so so good Landed early"
Cons: "Overnight wasn't the easiest flight in the seats Serving people coffee when others are probably trying to sleep probably wasn't the wisest idea either Pre flight queue system is just baffling"
Pros: "Comfortable seats"
Cons: "Boarding took a long time in the plane. There was confusion as they had passengers going both ways in the aisle .. this forced several ppl to stand in the aisle a long time. One of the air hostess had a major attitude. For example one passenger who was stuck in the middle of other passengers asked her politely if she could help him put the carry on in an overhead bin near her .. and she responded "I cant help you, you need to put it up yourself sir". Not something one expects. She was also terse with passengers, ordering them in an annoyed tone."
Cons: "I had a man sit next to me who was in the wrong seat but didn't move. He told the girl to keep his seat and he would stay next to me. He was so big he was in my space and had didn't make any effort to try not to spill over in my area. I had to put a magazine next to my thigh because his body was so hot it was damp! I hated the entire trip. I was cramped up and extremely uncomfortable. This is simply unacceptable to have this happen because huge people can't fit in one seat. I want these obese people to be required to purchase 2 seats because they take mine."
Pros: "The stewards were nice and they were prompt. The plane seemed to be well cleaned inside and they were quick to get everyone boarded and bags stowed underneath. The pilot knew what he was doing and I had no worries there. Everyone was doing their jobs as well as they could be done."
Cons: "The air nozzle above my seat was broken and would not turn off so I freezing the entire flight, as well as the tray table seeming like it was meant for the lap of an infant versus myself and I can't imagine how someone with longer legs than myself dealt with the way it folded down. The take off was rough either seemingly due to tires or perhaps a rough runway. The wifi on the plane would not work. It worked ok my first flight but not on the second. I don't know why and no one knew why either, had the latest app and it was updated to the current version."
Pros: "It was delayed n delayed again it's always a problem"
Cons: "I've received my bag damaged and asked for help through the service but they didn't help me on doing nothing just said that's normal I paid 25$ for the safety of my bag but found it very damaged"
Cons: "The terminal number on my ticket was wrong and when me and some other customers asked the flight lady what was going on she was of very little help. Not only that but she was making a personal phone call. So I had to rush to the other end and then just to find out that they didn't have enough room to put my carry on so I had to place it enbetween my legs which made for an even more uncomfortable flight. Also one of the flight attendant was particularly rude and kept saying she had to do her job in a very rude tone to the point were an older retired man told her he's worked too hard in his life time to be talked to like that. Overall the poorest plane experience I've ever had and I fly quite a bit."
Pros: "Boarding was fast and easy. Crew was kind to allow me to use an empty seat in the middle row and get more space. Managed to connect to onboard entertainment with a tablet and avoided to use the tiny screen that still exists on United's 767s."
Cons: "Food was a bit tasteless."
Pros: "Aircraft remained grounded for 1h due to a door switch with malfunction."
Pros: "Very smooth and comfortable flight."
Cons: "So we arrived at the desk after a 7hr international flight ready for the final 1hr leg - only to be confronted with "flight overbooked" looking for 9 volunteers - how can you over book a 40 seat flight by 9 ???? So we had an anxious wait wondering if we'd be dumped from the flight - we weren't but it wasn't enjoyable waiting for the flight and our meeting with our grand kids."
Pros: "Fine. Wish my earlier one wasn't so delayed."
Pros: "Nice specious plane but seat backs were concave and offered no support"
Pros: "It didnt crash"
Cons: "Flight cancelled - again - and due to mechcanical issues"
Pros: "Everyone was very accommodating! Thank You."
Pros: "The young lady who was the flight attendant was very nice and tried to make a very bad situation somewhat bearable. There were a number of children on the flight that she was very attentive to. I hope united treats their employees better than they treat their passengers."
Cons: "The flight was delayed for 4 hours. We were told to proceed to the United terminal in spite of the delay. There seemed to be no effort to inform or assist us. There was very little to do in this terminal but wait to see if our flight would eventually come. There were other United passengers in the terminal who were also waiting for overly delayed flights. eventually, we had a plane that was extremely small, cramped and uncomfortable. United seems to consistently oversell its seats and then tried to get people to give up their seats. Very poorly managed airline with bad customer service. Sadly, I have to say that I have never had an acceptable experience on a united flight. Will NOT take another United flight."
"Had a delay for about 40 minutes. The flight itself was very smooth. Baggage claim wasn't so much. I would fly with the airline again though."
"Baggage charges are always too much."
Pros: "Crew was very good. Flight very comfortable."
Cons: "Nothing. It was a very enjoyable trip."
Pros: "The crew was nice and did the best they could."
Cons: "The plane was newer and the seats were leather, so it looked clean and nice. But the seats are really close together in every side, it is tight sitting. The terminals are bare bones, had to walk out in the rain and hail to get inside, and the luggage took forever. The pricing policies are insane, charges for luggage, drinks, all very unclear. First time using Frontier and it seems like a great deal at first but adding up all the extra fees I am never using them again, the price ends up being like a regular carrier. Not worth it."
Cons: "Delayed both ways to start out. Got to the airport 2 hours early and the workers were not even there to check our luggage. Had to wait until 4:30-4:45 before checking luggage and going through TSA when flight left at 6:20. Delayed due to losing log sheet after everyone already boarded, $45 checked bag (ridiculous), no complimentary drinks have to pay $2.99, flight was FREEZING to the point where I couldn’t sleep and I didn’t sleep the night before, talked about their credit card for way too long like they were in dire need of your business, landed and had no one to bring the walkway so we could get off the plane. Very disappointed in this airline"
Pros: "There flight was over booked. My wife and I were the only two left in the terminal this morning as we watched everyone leave for Las Vegas! I’ll be missing a wedding today frontier! Thank you!"
Cons: "The whole experience was awful!"
Pros: "Flight crew was pleasant."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 9 hours. Weather on both ends was great. Stuff happens, I get it. But to have no one at the gate and no explanation is incredibly cowardly. And then to do the usual banter at 2 and 3 in the morning thanking us for “choosing” Frontier and other chipper comments rang incredibly hollow. Things like “we hope you had a great flight!” A great flight by Frontier standards would have gotten us to our destination on time. The meal voucher is a complete joke — sending an email for us to get the voucher from the gate agent AND THEN NOT HAVING A GATE AGENT UNTIL 90% OF THE AIRPORT RESTAURANTS ARE CLOSED is just beyond all decency. I will never fly Frontier again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid it like the plague. If you only have one thing to offer (reasonably on time flights) then you should do that one thing really well. Frontier doesn’t."
Pros: "When we were able to finally board and depart, it was expedited."
Cons: "I didn’t like the fact that with numerous delays, we were not even given actual information as to the cause. At one point the, the person at the desk picked up their belongings and left the passengers at the gate. Weather was the excuse but there wasn’t any severe weather in either destination!"
Pros: "Boarding was fast and the crew was attentive"
Cons: "They charge extra fees for everything, $45 for a carry on bag at check in and $60 at the gate, unacceptable. They also have the most uncomfortable seats of all the airlines I have travel with, like baseball stadium uncomfortable."
Cons: "They say they are giving you a bargain but with fees it's absolutely the same as other airlines but with far more uncomfortable seats and no amenities. Will bnever fly never fly frontier again."
Pros: "Cheap flight"
Cons: "Bag fee"
Pros: "The crew was hilarious."
Cons: "The seats. Seriously please at least make seats that don't hurt my rear after an hour."
Cons: "All of the unexpected baggage fees ($40 for a carry on bag? Really?) and fees if you wanted to pick your seat. You even had to pay for snacks and drinks that are always complimentary! And I have never sat in more uncomfortable airplane seats (they didn't recline AT ALL). Plus could they have made a smaller seat tray? Frontier is a joke of an airline"
Pros: "The baseline flight was inexpensive."
Cons: "After landing, we had to sit on the runway for 40 minutes, because frontier has only one gate at Austin International, and here was another plane still at the gate loading. Basically, they incorrectly scheduled the flights. As if that wasn't annoying enough. After landing, we had to wait an additional 50 minutes to receive our luggage! In all, it was an hour and a half after landing that I had my luggage in hand and finally got to leave the airport. You must pay to select a seat. You must pay to have a carry-on ($35 to $60 depending on when you pay) or any luggage at all. Basically you must pay a little extra for everything. The seats are a piece of sheet metal with 1/4" of padding, do not recline, and have less leg room than any other airline in my experience. There was an empty exit row seat, and as I am tall (6'2"), I thought it wasn't unreasonable for me to ask to move. When the flight attendant walked by, I had to say excuse me several times, each time louder until I was virtually shouting. When she finally acknowledged me and I asked about the seat, she said sure, you can move, for $50."
Pros: "The crew. That's it."
Cons: "Biggest regret buying this "discounted" ticket. Not a real discount. Found out there were a bunch of hidden fees when I was checking in. They charge $60 for the checked bag EACH WAY and was super shocked they charge for a CARRYON!! Unbelievable. None of the regular seats recline whatsoever unless you pay more hidden fees just to have your seat not be straight up the entire time, and there is no front table to put a computer. To save another dime, they installed some super cheap 6 inch x 3 inch mini ledges that they call tables. I'll NEVER fly with Frontier again. They also refused to let me check in early so I had to sit and wait for hours since they refused to give me a boarding pass until I came all the way back to ticketing exactly and only exactly at 2 hours before boarding. Worst flight. A total shame since the crew was incredibly nice."
Pros: "Flight arrived a little early as usual with flights from Dulles near DC to Orlando airport"
Cons: "Seats were a little cramped but hey its a cheaper flight."
Pros: "I guess it was the cheapest flight option, but adding the baggage fees it probably was not. The crew was friendly and fun despite not knowing what was going on with my layover, but that was probably not their fault."
Cons: "Had a two-segment flight and was only given one boarding pass (it was the same plane and flight number for both flights and same seat), which gave me trouble getting on both flights as it wouldn't scan properly. Asked several crew/desk folks about this and no one seemed to know what the deal was. Had to pay for what would have normally been a carry-on, which was not explained before purchase. Bags took an hour to get to baggage claim, which was heightened by the fact that I did not want to check my bag but I did since it would have been $40 to carry it on ($30 for checked). Overall was not a huge fan. Would be worth flying if it was several hundred dollars cheaper than other airlines, but in this instance it was not."
Cons: "nice price, but i didnt know id be charged for a carry on or to check in and seat assign - also on midnight return - you woke me up 6 times blabbing loudly with announcements dont have 6 am departures and 7 pm returns? shut up while i am sleeping - tell me up front of your extra charges"
Cons: "I booked this ticket about a month ago. I was traveling to va to drive in a car race. I rented a race car, had it delivered to the track, payed my entry fee and just had to show up at the race track to drive. Total for the weekend was about 3k$ The day of my flight around 3 in the afternoon, I attempted to check into my flight. There seemed to be something wrong with frontiers website as I kept getting a red error message. I made about 15 attempts from two different computers. I kept getting an error. There was clearly a problem on Frontiers end. I would have to check in at the airport. I do not check luggage and being a red eye, I arrived at the Frontier kiosk an hour before my flight (plenty of time). I made multiple failed attempts to print my boarding pass before waiting in line. After the wait in line, the very unfriendly Frontier lady scolded me for not arriving earlier and said I would have to wait to speak with the manager as she could not help me. After another wait the manager told me that the flight was oversold and the tickets were given out based on when people checked in and all he could do was put me on the same flight tomorrow. Which was pointless because my race was at 9am the next day. I am not sure how this is even legal? It certainly is not fair, I will never book a flight on frontier again, I may not even use kayak. I am out thousands of dollars, and very mad about everything to do with this."
Pros: "The pilot, because we did land"
Cons: "Hiddend fees for everything. (2 carry on cost $120 round trip..fyi) Cancelled flight 6 days prior, no other options and had to change airports to fly the same day to keep the planned events booked months earlier. Lied to by customer service on cancellation and Frontier took no responsibility for their ridiculous actions and could care less we were stranded in a different state with no way to get back...(without switching airports or book using a different airline at a $500+ seat price.) Just awful and will go out of my way for friends and family to NEVER fly frontier again."
Pros: "Takeoff, flight, and landing were smooth. Price was great. Plane appeared new. I arrived at my destination safely, and so did my luggage."
Cons: "Grumpy passengers complaining about the one hour delay and being rude to employees and flight crew. Mass confusion at the airport. TSA closed at one end of the terminal, so wandered a bit before figuring that out, with the help of a security guy who said, "Let me guess, you're flying Frontier." Had a total of 4 different gates before we finally boarded a plane, and every time we arrived at a different gate it still said some other city. Very little communication from the airline regarding delay and gate changes. Also told us the wrong baggage claim upon arrival. Baggage fees are a little excessive, but the price of my flight was SO cheap that I can hardly complain about that, since I travel light."
Pros: "Simple and basic"
Cons: "Frontier Changed my flight a few days before take off and had to change around all my plans for transportation. Gave us a much later flight and were not offered any compensation for switching to a much cheaper flight initially. There were no water option or snack that were complinentary and for a 2.5 hour flight that seems ridiculous to me. Not please with the hidden bag fees ($30-35 per person)and seat charges ($13-18). Better off going with a pricier ticket to start with. Download the app it is helpful to pull up boarding pass and add your seat and bags. The website is confusing with its dumb perks pop up page that no one understands. So do your research before booking with frontier. Wish I had."
Pros: "The crew members were inviting, and did not nitpick over luggage size and weight-amazing!"
Cons: "The seats do not lean back and the armrests and tray tables are uncomfortable."
Pros: "My first experience with Frontier, it was okay."
Cons: "The level of understanding in regards of cheaper flights mean increase on other ends, but to pay $40 for a carry-on/$30 for checked-in baggage is a blind-sided downer. One gets what one pay for."
Cons: "Well my plane was supposed to board at 8:25 a.m. and leave at 9:10 a.m., however it had not arrived yet. After the plane arrived, it took the crew quite some time to get all of the passengers off. When we did get on the plane, there was another long wait because they were short on bag rampers. After all of the delays, my plane exited Denver at or around 10:50 a.m. Throughout all of this the stewardesses were quiet and didn't explain the delays. It wasn't until quite some time that I requested as to why we hadn't left yet. There were more issues when the flight arrived in Indianapolis. It took approximately 10-12 minutes until the jetway was even connected to the plane. Finally, I'm off the plane and I get to the baggage claim and I was there waiting for my bags for about 30 minutes. It's the first time that I've had any of these issues as a flyer and it's also the first time that I've used Frontier. This flight isn't one of my first flights either as the military has had me flying all over the US in recent months. Looking at this experience, I think that has more to do with the company itself rather than a random flight experience."
Pros: "The flight attendants were wonderful."
Cons: "Frontier managed to lose our seats on our return flight blaming it on mysteriously "being unchecked" in their system. This caused is quite the panic when we were asked to step aside in line as our boarding passes were not being accepted in their scanner. A supervisor came just in the knick of time to tear off a piece of paper with a written seat number on it which would then suffice as our passes to get on the plane. To top it off, they lost half our planes luggage. I can see how their prices are so low as they skimp in all other major areas."
Cons: "I fly Frontier often and am very comfortable with their no-frills concept. However, I don't think "no fills" should also include "no information about delays." This flight was delayed four hours and with no gate attendant to make announcements. In fact, the board outside the boarding gate still said "On time" even an hour and a half after the departure time. Each board in the airport said something different. Only by looking up my flight on a third-party website on my phone was I able to learn each time the flight was delayed. This is unacceptable. Delays happen and I'm comfortable with that. However, it is absolutely unacceptable to not let passages know about these delays. It was very difficult to keep my family updated on the other end, when I had no information to tell them."
Pros: "I made it safely to Denver from DC."
Cons: "We arrived in denver at 0820 and sat on the tar mat until 945 (when we were told we would have a gate at 0845) then finally got to a gate. Then the entire flight stood around the baggage claim until 1130 with no word on when to expect our bags until 1145 when we were told our bags would be anywhere from another hour and a half to two and a half hours from that time. At that point I decided to leave the airport to head to an appointment (that I was now two hours late to) and leave my bags to sit unclaimed whenever they decided to show up. I returned that evening at 1800 to finally pick up my luggage. I will be telling family and friends to NEVER fly frontier because this was by far the absolute worst travel experience. The frontier airline did not even try to smooth anything over with the passages on this flight who had to spend over four hours sitting in the airport baggage claim without access to the restaurants or amenities in the concourses. Seriously, no apologies offer of accommodation or anything."
Pros: "The snacks were good, and the crew seemed to engage with the passengers well. Also, since I got a carry on bag I was able to be one of the first to board the plane which was very convenient."
Cons: "I booked this flight because I thought it would be cheaper in the long run, but it ended up costing me about the same as it would to fly southwest non-stop. You had to pay for your seats and bags! Carry on bags should not be items that are charged for. Also, it should be mentioned somewhere that after row 13, the seats do not recline and you have smaller leg room. If I had known that, I would have bought my seat further up on the plane. There was also no flight entertainment, and no wifi on board. For longer flights, I think it is necessary to provide your passengers with some sort of entertainment. This is especially true if your passengers are sitting on extremely uncomfortable seats."
Cons: "As soon as the entire flight was boarded and seated we were told that we were waiting "a few minutes" for 12 passengers on a connecting flight from Seattle. This was a midnight flight and we did not pull away from the gate until after 1am. We sat on the plane for over an hour waiting for these passengers with no update from the crew. There must have been something wrong with the air conditioning, because I have never had such little air flow from the individual blower on any flight I have ever been on. It was like when they turn off the plane as passengers de-board, but that was the air temperature and air flow of the entire flight. Out of the pilots control, but we experienced the worst turbulence I have ever experienced. We were flying directly into a storm with bright lightning. Again, other than the fasten seat belt sign, there was no communication from flight attendants or crew as to what was going on. There were several times I was genuinely worried about whether the plane would level back out. This was easily the worst flight of my life."
Pros: "The crew, while visibly understaffed and overworked they were still pleasant."
Cons: "Where do I start? Price looks really competitive at first. This is just because the flight itself only about half the actual cost. These jokers charge for everything. Checked baggage is standard but they want money for everything. Carry on bag, water, every seat has a surcharge. They'd charge for the air you breath if it was legal. Both planes I flew in were miserable. Tiny, uncomfortable seats that don't recline. First flight was 2 hours delayed. OK, these things happen. None of the other airlines had delays though. They sent me four emails about the delay which would have been nice if a single one of the emails was actually correct. Nope, four incorrect times. The last email was telling me that my flight was delayed to 7:10 AM. This would have been nice except the previous email told me it was delayed to 7:50 AM and I received the email at 8:40 AM. Being 2 hours delayed meant that I had time to sprint from my first flight to the next, barely. I barely make my connection flight, sit down, door closes and we wait. And wait. And wait. Spent 45 minutes at the terminal while they load baggage. Now that I've had no time to eat on my layover I look at the ”menu”. $3 soda, $3 cracker, $3 water... Miserable"
Cons: "We were delayed almost an hour, which I know happens, however the boarding process took forever, as the desk seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. I did not appreciate the "nickel and dime-ing" from Frontier at all. I paid for my ticket at a face value of $140, and when I checked in, I had to pay an additional $102. I absolutely would have selected a different airline, that would have cost less than the $250 I ended up paying for Frontier. That leads to frustration and lack of trust for your company, as you try to cheat your customers into paying more for their flight than what you purport on sites like Kayak. Needless to say, this experience will prevent me from choosing Frontier in the future."
Pros: "It boarded on time"
Cons: "-Little table to eat. -Seats and rows way too narrow -They charge for carry ons, snacks, and probably air. It was ridiculous how I was nickled and dimes. -The wait to drop the bags was excessive >25 minutes at IAD. This is sad being that I paid ahead of time."
Cons: "Frontier misleads customers with a price that compares favorably with competitors while you are searching for fares. But, once you have selected the flight and already given your credit card number for payment you find out that there are extra charges each flight to choose your seat and for both checked and carry-on luggage. All food and drinks during the flight are at an extra price and the seats do no recline at all. So, my uncomfortable flight ended up being a higher price than other carriers. And finally, I have Pre-check privileges when going through security, but Frontier does not participate in the program, so I waited in very long lines. Last time."
Pros: "I eventually got to my final destination safely, and my luggage wasn't lost. The pilot seemed to be as frustrated as us, so it seemed like he really was trying to find us a new plane pretty frantically. Not sure if it was his idea to board and reboard us on the broken plane twice though."
Cons: "Where to start...our flight was delayed 30 minutes without them telling us why. They did tell us that if our plane wasn't ready, there was another nearby that we may be able to take. But 30 min is usually no big deal, so no one was really upset. So, they boarded us onto the plane without any communication as to the original delay. Apparently there was a computer issue, so we sat on the plane for 30 minutes and they said we could deboard because it was going to be at least another 35 minutes. After an hour and a half of waiting and no updates besides revised landing times, the tech guy left the plan, and they started boarding us again. We're all boarded and another 25 minutes goes by. Then, they come over the loud speaker and told us we either had to get a new computer or a new plane and HQ was still deciding. So, they boarded us for a second time onto a plane they knew wasn't repaired. It was the middle of the night, so they had to wake everyone up who was trying to get sleep in the airport to board us - and it was for no reason. So, they deboarded us again and told us we were going to get a new plane (the same plane I believe they said was ready 3 hours prior). So, we go to that gate, pilot goes on to check it, and they already started the evening maintenance, so it wouldn't be ready for an hour. So, they switch us to a third gate (again, middle of the night, herding us around like cattle) and we wait at the 3rd gate for another 45 minutes without a single announcement or update. We finally board the plane, take off, and land at our final destination. When we get there, our gate has obviously been taken because we're 4 hours late, so we sit on the tarmac for an additional 35 minutes before we can be assigned a gate to unload. Finally, 4.5 hours late, just in time for work with 2 hours of sleep, we arrive in the most uncomfortable plane with the most unpersonable crew who gave us little to no communication the entire time. The pilot would update us when things were at the "worst-case scenario point" and he had ot move us. Other than that, we never had any idea what was going on. The situation was bad with the plane computer being broken, but had they communicated properly, not boarded us twice on a broken plane, communicated proper timeline estimates, or even gave us better expectations, the experience would have been so much better. Don't need to fly Frontier again. These things were also poor from my first flight review: First time flying Frontier, and the plane itself is very uncomfortable. Tray tables are too small to do anything with, and the seats are very thin and hard and do not move at all. The armrests were also super uncomfortable, but when you try to move them back, they stick straight up so you can't be comfortable. The crew wasn't very personable like more popular airlines. Everyone seemed pretty unhappy to be there and talked minimally. You have to pay for your bags, food, and drink. No entertainment available to judge."
Cons: "I'm disappointed that kayak sold me a flight and then frontier charged me an extra $46 both ways (seat and carry-on charge). Never again with frontier if I can help it. Probably wont use Kayak anymore either."
Pros: "Each frontier employee was kind and greeted me...usually with their name."
Cons: "I was in the middle seat and paid $6.00 to get a seat near the front of the plan as it is sometimes difficult for me to get to the back with all the pople and sounds as I have frequent vertigo. Right before take off I noticed several rows of seats completely empty and asked if I could move to one of those seats. Supprisingly I was tolld no. When I asked she said because people pay mor for those seats. For the comfort of the 2 other people and myself...I just thought it made since they were pretty much the same. These seats were not being utilized by anyone...no one had paid to sit there..not like Casper the friendly Ghost was on board and it would have made a more comfortable flight . Just found that a little peculiar. Some thing to think about if someone else ever asks????"
Pros: "The flight was good (smooth and on time), flight attendants were great."
Cons: "I do NOT like the seats on this plane (Airbus 319 and 320) at all. I paid extra and I still don't know what it got me, other than a more expensive, very uncomfortable seat. I am not a big person by any means; my complaint is that the seat is bony and too upright. The toilet was in bad shape from the very beginning of the flight (I know because I used it). It reeked of urine and the lighting was poor."
Pros: "Getting off the plane."
Cons: "Flight was over two hours late. When booked through Kayak I thought the price would include my seat, but I had to actually pay more to have a seat. The seats don't recline and the cheaper the seat the more expensive it got. I don't know if that is Frontier or Kayak to charge extra on top of the flight to actually have a seat, but that is ridiculous. The staff was great but they didn't announce when the boarding started and it wasn't on the monitors through out the airport with the correct boarding time."
Cons: "The fact you pay $30-60 to check a bag and even more for a carry on. The fact our flight was 2 hours late and they did not use any empathy or have any kind of reasoning as to why it was so late. Flight attendants rude to couple about their son being handicap and wasn't able to sit in emergency exit row. They get you with the cheap airfare but then after tacking the $60 for bags $60 for taxi after our ride couldn't pick us up at the airport at 2:30am it was not worth it. I will never fly on frontier again acter this joke of an experience."
Cons: "Don't fly, they charge you for everything ,even a carry-on $65 and they are super rude. They made my brother miss his flight because he was 35 minutes before take off instead of there 40 minute rule. Don't do it !!!!"
Cons: "Plane was delayed by 5 and a half hours due to a storm. Something Frontier had no control over. What they did have control over, however, was their communication, which was non-existent. People at the gate wouldn't tell passengers anything, and responded to questions with "I don't know." When one woman complained about the lack of communication, a Frontier worker told her dismissively that she could call the manager. We kept learning about the flight delays by watching the status board. The front gate workers wouldn't say anything, and most people were too worried about missing the flight to run and get something to eat."
Cons: "Next time i will travel with jetblue airline bcoz first luggage with carry on is free even for economic ticket. But for frontier must pay even for carry on. Jetblue serves free snack and drink. But F. Airline had no thing"
Cons: "The flight was delayed for nearly 4 hours, without notice or explanation for most of that time - even though it was a foregone conclusion, because a replacement aircraft had to be flown from CA to FL for maintenance reasons. Then, the counter personnel were arrogant and offensive in dealing with disappointed passengers (who would not be arriving at their destination until 2 am). Frontier is absolutely the worst airline I have dealt with in the past several years, and I am not likely to ever book a flight on Frontier again - especially since the hidden fees tend to make the ultimate price nearly the same as other airlines."
Pros: "The flight was on time and direct"
Cons: "You asked me to rate food & entertainment-there was none .. Very uncomfortable seats that won't recline, a tray table The size of a soap dish, paid extra for a better seat. I can't imagine how bad the cheaper seats are. passengers with no carry on STILL have to board in zone 4.. No carry on should ensure a 1st opportunity boarding. No TSA pre check .. Tacky tacky"
Pros: "Nonstop and smooth flying"
Cons: "The fact that you can't check one bag without paying for it."
Pros: "Southwest is pretty much my only other option to fly diect from MCO to IND. Southwest would charge me 3X as much for basically the same experience. Sure, Southwest might not charge me $1.99 + tip for a can of soda, but that's because they charge me $100s more on the airfare. I'll take $1.99 can of soda any day. The flight was on time. Boarding was simple and stress-free. The crew was friendly and efficient. The seats were a bit cramped, but not intolerable for a 2 hr flight. I could have purchased an aisle seat for about $30 more, which would still be cheaper than Southwest, but I chose to save money instead. I like having that choice. My baggage arrived intact and on time. Why would I fly with any other airline at these savings?"
Pros: "They 'nickle and dime' you. The cost of the ticket does not include seat selection, carry-on baggage, or soft drinks. Charge me $2 more and give me a soft drink"
Cons: "They took off only a few minutes late and landed roughly on time. Of course, we had to wait for the arrival gate access."
