Cons: Overall not bad. Food service can be better but it is due to the pandemic currently. Overall excellent flight!Read more about Delta
Cons: Overall not bad. Food service can be better but it is due to the pandemic currently. Overall excellent flight!
Pros: Crew from Washington to Cancún were extremely rude
Pros: The crew was very attentive and had great personality. They anticipated any needs we had.
Pros: Quickly moving through the airport.
Cons: Take out old planes. It was really run down.
Pros: The plane was nice
Cons: I’m still sitting in Minneapolis so I would have liked to be at my destination. And I had to pay for the overnight accommodations.
Pros: Crew was friendly.
Cons: Wish the seat was more comfortable. Landing was jittery and bumpy.
Pros: The flight attendant from IAD to MSP called Bernadette was wonderful!
Pros: Super comfortable seats. Lots of movie options.
Cons: Food was not very good
Pros: Flight was smooth, arrived early..crew was prompt and courteous.
Pros: I did get home eventually
Cons: Flight was delayed. Seats are cramped.
Pros: Flight crew was excellent. We had the emergency exit row so leg room was awesome! Kind bar and soda we good.
Cons: Flight delay due to the older aircraft and lack of a pilot that knew how to fly it. Bathroom needed some tending to
Pros: Equipment felt a bit dated. No entertainment system, which was fine with me. Skipped the offered snack. Just had water. Flight was onntime.
Pros: Standard Air France flight. My wife and I like the Airbus 380.
Cons: The flight left two hours late. Apparently this happens a lot with this flight these days because it's an Airbus 380 coming from Paris to Dulles and turning around. The incoming flight was two hours late, so the departure was late. Our arrival in Paris was late. We made the flight, but our luggage didn't. Our return flight from Paris to Dulles was half an hour late because of people from connecting flights. We arrived about 30 minutes late, but no big deal (unless you had a connection)
Pros: Fly attenden alwas with a beautiful smile
Cons: I was delayed over 2 hours
Pros: Nothing particularly stands out. I did arrive safely.
Cons: First class did not come with lounge access? Drinks were not cold. Bathrooms were falling apart and came with a disgusting odor. Time to retire these aircrafts.
Pros: Flight attendants were nice based on the situations beyond their control.
Cons: Flight was delayed for about three hours, due to mechanical issues with the second engine not starting. We sat on the the plane for over an hour and half. Some people that missed their connection flights were offered hotel stay. Others that had no connection flight was not offered anything for the several hours of delay that occurred.
Pros: The chekc in person was very helpful.
Cons: The plane was too hot and the pilot did not accommodate the passengers request. More than just me made the same request.
Pros: Good choice of video programs.
Cons: The flight attendant took 25 minutes to appear, and had enough time for one round of service. First class, at least you should get two drinks. Fly basic economy, there just isn’t any reason to fly first class.
Cons: Direct flight, on time arrival
Pros: i fell asleep until we arrive to STL.
Cons: I have traveled with my luggage plenty of times through airports and the flight from washington to jacksonville, my luggage came back to me cracked and broken. I was surprised that Delta handling was worse than any of the cheaper flights I normally take and will not be checking any baggage with Delta again.
Pros: Great and friendly crew
Cons: baggage rules, check in with baggage, change fee for flight when it was not customers issue that caused the 5 min delay! Unable to reach reservation desk on line or via phone (neither was the gate agent)
Cons: Seeing as I’m still waiting for my flight, more than five hours later I am not inclined to rank it highly. This airport is an embarrassment and I will try my best to never fly Delta again. Weather is no excuse for this.
Pros: My flight was canceled but Delta rebooked me on a flight leaving at about the same time as my original flight, which arrived just a little later than originally anticipated
Cons: My original flight was canceled
Cons: Delayed two hours
Pros: Got to my placs
Cons: Lol put the two fattest people next to each other
Pros: The fact that there were no snakes on this plane :-)
Cons: Same issue... there were no snakes on the plane :-/
Pros: Flight attendants and cookies. That's it.
Cons: We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline.
Cons: There delay
Pros: I got to destination. Baggage claim was quick.
Cons: Flight was delayed due to waiting for a tardy flight attendant. Landing felt a little hard. No announcement about baggage carousel prior to disembarking.
Pros: For a short-haul flight on a small CRJ, it was the most pleasing and comfortable flight. No delays and everyone was pleasant from ground staff to flight crew.
Pros: The crews were very friendly and everything went as planned. It was a nice flight.
Cons: I didnt like that my flight was canceled and rebooked for no reason. This created me big problem in Athens that they couldnt find my ticket in delta. Also I didnt like that i had to stand and wait for 3 hours in the line because my flight was canceled but no one could let us know if there gonna be any flights within the day. I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever.
Pros: The flight was smooth and the food selection was surprising delicious. The crew was very attentive.
Cons: The leg room was much less than the last time I flew Virgin (booked via Delta) and made for an uncomfortable trip. Could not sleep as a result. If you're tall like me you'll need to book a higher seating category.
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: Nothing everything was fine
Cons: paying extra for leg room and checked bags
Pros: Great (seemed like unusually friendly and helpful) crew. Plenty of carry on baggage room.
Cons: Seats didn't recline. Plane hot initially and couldn't be cooled down until airborne.
Pros: Did not eat or use entertainment.
Pros: Everything was smooth. Short flight, but they offered us refills on drinks, which I've never experienced before. Polite staff, great flight. Thanks!
Cons: Being scammed by the Chinese, China Southern
Pros: Excellent flight. Nice new aircraft.
Pros: Crew service was excellent
Cons: Poor leg space
Pros: On time, nice crew.
Pros: I am 6'6" 300 pounds ... So I regularly book first class for trips over 2 hours in length ... Delta remains my #1 choice for both value and overall experience in first class. The difference between Delta and all other domestic carriers is just overwhelming. United and American/US Air could learn a lot from Delta. I could have flown this trip direct on United, but chose to fly through Atlanta on Delta for less money and a better experience from the baggage check to the gate to the in-flight experience.
Pros: .....delta in Washington was great changed my flight so I didn't have delay !!!!!! Will always use
Cons: Delayed flight for 6 hrs. and acts like it is just business as usual, perhaps it is for Delta
Cons: The flight was very bumpy and didn't have the option to watch a movie.
Pros: I didn’t like the crew on board .. everyone else was good, there was a flight attendant on my flight very rude, I asked if it was possible to get an additional snack, and she looked at me, she told me something that I didn’t understand , she placed an extra snack on my tray.. then she picked it up and took it away from me … that was extremely rude .. I am a 71 years old woman and I was never treated the way the attendant treated me
Cons: You need to provide a better customer service to your passengers, you need to train them and evaluate them to treat passengers with respect, if they have a job it is because we people use your airline not the other way around
Cons: WiFi wasn’t working
Pros: Uneventful flight. Departed on time. Arrived ahead of schedule (good thing). Excellent crew from nose to tail.
Cons: PA system at gate was awful. Instructions were inaudible.
Pros: crew was great and moved me further up in the plane to make a tight connection
Pros: The flight was on time. I got lucky and was seated with extra legroom and was very very grateful. No drama - nice and easy.
Cons: When we were checking in I wasn’t sure where to lineup to put my luggage in. The lines for the kiosks were also confusing. Some more direction that I think would be helpful at Philadelphia airport.
Pros: Everything about my trip was exceptional!
Pros: Very clean and plane was not crowded!
Cons: Food and beverage service, but we completely understand with COVID 19
Pros: Good seats and very clear
Pros: Nothing, really other than the fact that it Got us home.
Cons: At least offer water. There was no service whatsoever
Pros: Flight and plan where great.
Cons: Stewardess was very rude and un please y with all customers. Didn’t feel like she wanted to be on the flight. Her attitude was the main problem.
Pros: Everyone was well behaved.
Cons: Great flight
Pros: comfortable first class seat
Cons: There was no wifi. No entertainment, no ability to work.
Pros: Crew was awesome, friendly, tentative, and welcoming.
Cons: Screaming kid in the background, wouldn't stop the entire flight.
Pros: Pilots and crew are still great- all negative comments have to do with corporate policy.
Cons: Not able to social distance at all. We had to board a bus to get to the plane and we sat there for 20 minutes breathing in exhaust while we were packed in like sardines rather than the bus going back and fourth with smaller groups. The plane was tiny, so again- no way to distance at all. Seats at the front were left unoccupied rather than allowing others to move to them for social distancing.
Cons: Seats are thick but zero lumbar. Back too short at shoulders and I'm only 5'8"
Cons: There were too many people on the flight. The middle seat was occupied.
Pros: 2 and 2 seats, all occupied, no distancing.
Cons: Better seating, boarding from the tail to decrease contact
Pros: If I could choose my seat
Pros: Gate side crew was amazing in providing repeated delay updates.
Cons: 6:34 flight was delayed until 1:00 am due to not having a pilot. No weather issues just no pilot, poor staffing. Unacceptable.
Cons: The lack of leg room was wild. I’m under six feet tall and my knee caps were in the spinal column of the man sitting in front of me.
Cons: The flight was delayed by 3 hours. They didn't tell us it was delayed until 2 hours before the flight, by which time we were already at the airport. They first delayed it 1 1/2 hours and then another 30 minutes every half hour. The airline/crew never even acknowledged the delay or apologized for it.
Pros: Arrived early. Friendly pilot.
Cons: Attendant did not offer snack choice.
Pros: One of our fellow passengers was willing to change seats so my wife and I could sit together.
Cons: I'm not a fan of American's Basic Economy, where they nickel-and-dime for every little thing. Choosing seats while checking in online does not cost the airline any more than assigning them, so charging for the privilege of choosing your seat is simply a money grab.
Pros: My flight was delayed and expected to delay further and the attendants put me on another flight to get there before my connecting flight.
Cons: My bags never made it and when I arrived, I was told that one of my bags was still at my departure airport and the other wasn’t scanned.
Pros: Efforts to get us to Philadelphia
Cons: Got to Philly - no one there - rushed 2 concourses and plane still there with daughter on-board. They gave away our seats, told us we would not get on, would not get our baggage and would not get put up in a hotel. Because of the NBA draft - had to travel 60 miles to New Jersey for a hotel. Lost a day, lost 2 tours, endured additional hotel costs...and the attendant made it clear she was on overtime and we just needed to move on. American Airlines is too big and consolidation of airlines has not been good for the public.
Cons: I’m not sure how this flight was as I missed it due to a delay from YYZ to ORD
Pros: Pleasant service ; courteous team
Cons: Flight delayed
Pros: Clean, Friendly flight attendant
Cons: I don’t understand how a brief meaning less than 30 minutes thunderstorm can cause a five hour delay. Every time I take the route from DCA to STL American is always really late
Pros: We were 40 minutes delayed but received good communication and had an uneventful flight otherwise.
Pros: The flight attendant was fantastic. Very friendly, very helpful, checking on all the passengers. He even loaned his phone charger to one passenger. It was a full flight and he was working hard, but had a smile on his face the entire time. Give him a raise!
Cons: the airplane was absolutely freezing. It was so cold, you could actually see the air blowing (like in winter). There's no need for that. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people.
Pros: I think for the most part you have some of the best customer service but your snacks are awful compared to other airlines.
Cons: Mechanical issues, late late late, bad communication, no apologies or compensation for huge waste of time.
Pros: I love the fact I've flown with American Airlines 4 times over the last month and have not had any issues, delays or even an unfriendly face no matter the time or airport!
Pros: Why would a jet this size wobble all the way across the Atlantic! The pretzels were even stale, and they served a "pizza" that was a stale mini loaf with sauce and a little mozzarella. People were starving when breakfast was served. The thermostat fluctuated from horribly hot to freeing - for 14 hrs. The crew slammed things down on table trays, grumped, were giving harsh orders to patrons rather than gently directing them. These ladies do not enjoy their job. I am done with Delta. We were also an hour late taking off due to a door on a cargo hold not closing. I was embarrassed that our Aussie friends experienced this as their first American flight.
Cons: Food, attitude of flight attendants, comfort of cabin. Pilot took charge of thermostat issue and kept us informed in a friendly manner regarding the status of our take off and flight progress.
Cons: I nearly missed my flight because I did not have a seat for a flight that I bought a ticket for at full price. Which, would lead one to believe that I would have a seat on said flight. However, coming to the gate an hour before boarding the personnel working gate the said he was having computer difficulties and could not get me a seat and it would be 10 min. I continued to return till boarding to find out I had no seat and I was on standby. Upon going to customer service they replied the airline oversold tickets and every airline does this as if to make this practice ok. Well being in sales myself and if I were to sell x amount of product to one customer ( or several) I better make sure I have it all there to deliver. People rely on you schedule wise. It nearly shot a meeting I had to make in the foot. Very disappointed with the airline and the way things were handled.
Pros: Food, OK legroom, complimentary wine & beer on a US carrier
Cons: Barely functioning ancient touchscreen system
Cons: They had no record of this portion of my trip, after a few people checked they found the Chicago to Ammon part so they added me onto a flight from Washington to Chicago. All should of went well from there but they sent me to the wrong gate. Luckily I just made it to the correct gate for boarding. Upon arriving at Chicago there was no one available to provide information on how to get to Royal Jordanian gates. Also on my AA portion of my flight coming into The U S in New York the flight was cancelled and I was told the next flight Available was next day (18hr delay) at the other NY airport. I had to have someone drive from D.C. (My destination) to pick me up
Pros: Gate agent at DFW helped with a seat change so my wife and I could sit together--excellent seating in the exit row
Cons: Attempted to make my connection which was in another terminal. Could not get onboard as they shut the doors. My rerouted flight was in a different terminal. Overall a very disappointing travel experience.
Pros: The plane has improved greatly with their comfort and leg space
Cons: With checking my luggage my bag fee was waived a total of seven times this trip because I'm a military wife to see my husband overseas who is serving a year in Saudi Arabi except this past time on October 2nd at DCA airport. Spoke with the Supervisor Ralph who stated it was against policy. How stringent is this policy if it was waived seven times previously? Policy needs to be reviewed with entire staff. I will no longer use American Airlines because their military convenience and policies no longer seem to favor the military. My husband also after speaking with him will also no longer use your airline including all his members he overseas when they return after their year tour.
Cons: Cancelled flight last minute and I was put on another flight hours later; with a 1.5 hour delay too; no credit or voucher provided
Cons: I thought I was booking an Alaska Airlines flight. I booked on Alaska Airlines website. I picked seats. I missed the part in the email I received later saying I didn't have seats. I never received a check in notification email. It took forever to check in at the airport because the the kiosk took a while to pull up my reservation after asking for additional information. I got stuck with middle seats on 5 hour plus flights when I had actually checked to confirm I could still select a window seat before I booked and did indeed select window seats when I booked.
Pros: No food served. Late take off. Seats cramped. Forced to carry on bags, then asked to check for free, if they don't fit. That forces everyone to fight to get on the plane, to get the best place for their luggage. Why not remove the $25 fee on the checking the first bag?
Cons: The flight attendant chastised my husband loudly when doing a pre check before take off. She reached over and yanked his charger our of the socket and stood over him and reprimanded him for not being on airplane mode. The passengers in front were turning around while the passengers behind were laughing. It was excessive and inappropriate. The passengers behind him had tray tables down and video games out and when she addressed them it was in a respectful manner, but when addressing my husband, it was disrespectful and unprofessional. Seemed to be discrimination as she did not treat any other passengers like this. I wish I would have captured this on video to share with American Airlines as I do not think they would condone her behavior. Her name was Marlene and she needs additional training regarding customer service.
Pros: Crew was ok, did their best considering the circumstances, but even they were getting aggravated and were short with the passengers near the end.
Cons: The Washington airport is horrible. The gate we left from was not a gate but a series of doors that buses came to. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say.
Pros: The atention
Cons: The 5 hour flight was extremely full. No chance of social distancing. Did not feel safe for my family.
Pros: La atención súper mal La azafata con una mala actitud cuando me hacia una pregunta Retraso de más de una hora en la salida del vuelo
Cons: Necesitan una mejor capacitación en la atención al cliente las azafatas
Pros: The airline tried to keep us as comfortable as possible in the airport. The crew was fantastic.
Cons: Since we were in DC, I don't know why it took four hours to bring in another plane, since we were so close to major cities.
Cons: We did not have dinner as we tried to get some sleep on this 6.5 hour overnight flight to London. The 767 was in a 2-3-2 configuration for economy plus and general economy. Thankfully they kept the temps cool to the point where we used our coats as additional blankets. I appreciated that the FA’s did not wake us for dinner and they closed my window shade at some point. They were 100% polite and helpful. That said, with the new Polaris Business Sears, UAL has eliminated the restrooms between Business and Economy. So it is a very long walk to the restrooms from Econ Plus and it appears that there are only 4 restrooms for about 120 passengers. Absurd. My family made do because we used the restrooms in the middle of the night when most people were sleeping but this would have been a nightmare after breakfast or with a small child. It appears that UAL has gone for profit over customer satisfaction.
Cons: Very small cramped aircraft
Pros: Good crew.
Cons: Puddle jumper so very basic n
Cons: Food could of had a better selection but wasn’t the worst I’ve had
Pros: The controlled and orderly way when boarding.
Cons: The staff from the desk was unfriendly. On boarding no one showed you where your seat is located. The food was dreadful. The same aweful pasta meal on the outbound journey was served again. During the flight I was feeling very unwell I asked the flight attendant our axeick bag which she brought, but I was told to go to the toilet. She did not return to enquire after my well being. I was in the toilet for 5 minutes. Very uncaring. The tea was cold when served
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: The tray cannot be pullled closer for eating. The seat sitting up is very uncomfortable for reading. I would have liked a pillow. Th poor man in front of me asked for a coke after the meal service was done, and the flight attendant said she had to reserve it for the next flight?! The male announcer flight attendant was very hard to understand, some of his words were slurred and garbled. And the volume was always too loud for both the male and female announcers. There was no entertainment unless you downloaded the app.
Pros: Good plane good entertainment
Cons: Chaotic boarding. Attendants could not put could together. I bought business ckass tickets to my daughter and her husbandfie their honeymoon. They could not use the business lounge: when they arrived they were told that they needed to wait in front of the boarding gate. They waited two hours asking many times why they could not get their seats. They were ordered to stand by and wait to be called. Finally they insisted and they got two sits but not side by side. It was too late to use the business class lounge. What a shame. Food was so basic. Noodles overcooked with few veggies that all. Cabin attendants we're stressed and rude
Cons: It appears united is unable to fly their planes on times, in particular on the East Coast. We were delayed by 90min on each legs
Pros: The stewards were nice. The entertainment package was good. Food was ok (coach)
Cons: 6 1/2 hour delay due to navigation system crash. Two gate changes and a terminal change. New seats assigned, but then when 3rd plane was brought in, it had the exact configuration of the first and we were told we should use the original boarding passes. These turned out to be wrong because they reseated after the first plane went down and it’s replacement wasn’t the same configuration. We never saw that plane, or the gate it was assigned to. When we went to rebound, my wife I am were separated. We were moved to the way back (screaming baby sandwich - one in front and one behind us). Then we spent an hour in the worst turbulence I’ve seen in 20 years - I nearly vomited. the last 6 hours of this 15 hour ordeal were fine.
Cons: Our flight to Munich arrived late. And our connecting flight to Milan was originally scheduled to leave just 50 minutes after our arrival in Munich. We did not make our flight to Milan and have lost a half day of time at our destination, as well as more than $100 in non-refundable Italian train tickets. Even if our plane had arrived to Munich on time it would have been nearly impossible to make our connecting website. Flight pairings with this short of a layover should not be suggested at this airport when travelers are required to go through passport control.
Pros: Comfortable. Good entertainment and good service. Crew was nice
Cons: Missed our flight from Brussels to Zurich. United said we were booked on next flight six hours later. Gave us vouchers and that was it. Went to check in and the carrier said sorry you can’t board United did not book you. The voucher just has prior info and this flight time. So we missed getting on that flight 3 total hours on the phone with United and they did nothing but put us on hold. Thank you to Brussels air who finally after many years and frustration helped us so we could leave. More than 10 hours later than we should have. Horrible experience and we lost a day of vacation and pre paid plans for the evening I will never use kayak again for international flights. As that was part of the problem per United (probably BS but won’t ever risk it again) and will never use United airlines again as their customer service and lack of caring showed that companies true colors. I hope the rest of this dream vacation is better than this nightmare was.
Pros: Attentive cabin crew and decent food/wine selection, but....
Cons: This format of business class seating leaves a lot to be desired. There is literally no place to store anything except maybe your cellphone on the shelf under the TV screen. No room for a backpack on the floor - has to be in the overhead. Not convenient on an 8-hour overnight. Seats are tight - could not lay on my back - had to sleep on my side. No separation between seats - it was a 2, 4, 2 layout and the guy next to me coughed all night. At least I wasn't in one of the middle seats. Expensive flight for that type of setup IMHO. And given it was a 777, the plane was big enough.
Cons: Lufthansa as an agent is a mistake! I had to deal with them prior to flying to the US. I have never ever had to deal with such bad service in my entire life. United was great though and I highly recommend them.
Pros: The pilots were informative with their announcements and we were informed of turbulence before it started. We also got in ahead of schedule. I also appreciated being able to ask for a glass of water between services as I had fallen asleep.
Cons: The negative experiences started before we got on the plane. Boarding began slightly behind schedule and was very disorganized. People were all standing in the boarding area and out into the walkway for the concourse. I feel it would be better to have boarding groups come up individually or two at a time. (While group one boards, group two convenes. Once group one has boarded, invite group three to take their place.) Once group three had boarded, an announcement was made that there was no overhead bin space availble for the entirety of group 4. It seems a bit ridiculous that nearly half the plane wouldn’t have overhead space. It took awhile to board group 4 as everyone had luggage to check and once we finally got down the jetway, we had to wait another few minutes before being able to get to our seats as the flight attendant for first class insisted on taking drink orders while she stood in the aisle. I understand this is a perk of first class but I feel it could be better executed. These seats are boarded in group one so to have drink orders incomplete by the time group four is trying to board is irritating at best and incompetent at worst. Once finally at our seats, it became apparent that the announcement about lack of overhead bin space had been made a bit early. The bins were on the full side but they definitely had space available. Also, much of the space had been taken up by jackets and bags that would have fit under the seats; which I felt could have prevented nearly all of the checked bags. The flight was uneventful with minor annoyances like having to pay for entertainment and any sort of food. Even southwest provides entertainment free of charge and I consider them to be more of a budget airline. If I fly Lufthansa again, I will not take a domestic flight through United and will instead book via southwest to and from the international airport Lufthansa flies out of.
Pros: Despite sitting in the middle seat and being well over 6 feet, there was room.
Pros: The price, the mango sorbet, short flight into Belgium, the coffee, the water being offered often
Cons: The tray was very dirty and obviously had not been disinfected from the previous flight. So I brought it to the attention of one of the crew members, and I felt like she made fun of me in front of other passengers for not liking my tray dirty; and she got a little paper towel for serving, wet it with a bottled water, and wiped my tray quickly. Not hygienic at all and not a word of apology. AIR FRANCE is so much better when it comes to customer service! Also I did not like the constant interruption on the speakers, very loud in my headsets and difficult to watch a movie on tiny screens. The crew members seemed very bossy and uncaring, if not actually rude.
Pros: Nothing really everyhing was mediocre.
Cons: Delayed baggage, smelly flight, food
Pros: Clean aircraft good entertainment, cockpit crew polite
Cons: The check in staff were unbelievably rude nearly looked and were abrupt and dismissive to a simple question. The cabin crew looked scruffy, and clearly had a lack of pride in their job and presentation. This is the first time I have ever flown United and I must say I would avoid flying with them again if possible, which is a shame and the aircraft and the entertainment on board were good
Pros: The check in was good. The craft was clean.
Pros: Boarding was smooth enough
Cons: I'm a disabled person, I need an aisle seat for my long legs and busted knees, but the aisle seats had about 1/3 the space for feet as the other seats. My knees were pushing into the seat in front of me. Drinks went around once about 1 hour in to the 5 hour flight, but not again after that, though they came by to collect trash 5 times. Flight crew were polite, but some clearly didn't want to be there. This is the first flight I've ever been on where I was in tears from pain, and i felt like i couldnt ask for water or even the wheelchair I needed after the flight.
Pros: The short lines for boarding, but then again these were small flights. The flights taking off early when all passengers were boarded. The flights arriving much earlier than scheduled.
Cons: The basic economy flight is bullshit. We both know that it's better to just buy an economic flight. So why even pretend and lie to customers to precast the basic economy flight knowing full well that's just going to force them to have to check in their bags which end up costing more than an economic flight? Why not just offer the regular economy flight price and leave it at that. If the overhead bins are full, offer the passengers a chance to check in their bags for free. What you're doing is preying on the poor who already do not have much which is why they choose the basic economy flight without realizing the full extent of the set up.
Pros: Decent leg room. Wonderful to do the flight non-stop from NYC to Delhi.
Cons: United. September 14 Newark to Delhi Premium Economy Entertainment screen didn't work for 1st hour of the flight. the movie list was mediocre at best. The screen was smeared with some substance. The list of movies on the United entertainment app is great (via internet) but connectivity on this type of flight is spotty so the traveler is forced back to the antique screen plane system. Dinner. Butter chicken or vegetable options. Food was bland and very small portions for the length of flight. The snack was delivered immediately after dinner was picked up. I did not open it. Looked like a hard roll with something on it. Style of service is abrupt, bordering on rude. Uses terminology that non-US travelers from different cultures would not understand, for instance do you want "white" coffee. Asked me if I had someone at home to pick up after me as she felt she was cleaning too much off the floor. Her comments appeared to be directed at me but it was not my trash (and even if it was, a better approach would be recommended). The flight attendant realized she had gone too far and apologized. Then complained about this "route" being difficult, with no one listening. She concluded by wishing me a good flight and saying that she hoped that she had not offended me. I assured her that she had. Breakfast was mediocre. Egg with soggy potatoes and an inedible sausage. Did not see what they were offering in the veggie dish. Staff seems tired and not culturally sensitive. There needs to be some retraining and consideration given to long haul menus and entertainment. I take this flight at least once a year. It continues to deteriorate.
Pros: Crew were amazing, so friendly and helpful Entertainment system was so so good Landed early
Cons: Overnight wasn't the easiest flight in the seats Serving people coffee when others are probably trying to sleep probably wasn't the wisest idea either Pre flight queue system is just baffling
Pros: Comfortable seats
Cons: Boarding took a long time in the plane. There was confusion as they had passengers going both ways in the aisle .. this forced several ppl to stand in the aisle a long time. One of the air hostess had a major attitude. For example one passenger who was stuck in the middle of other passengers asked her politely if she could help him put the carry on in an overhead bin near her .. and she responded "I cant help you, you need to put it up yourself sir". Not something one expects. She was also terse with passengers, ordering them in an annoyed tone.
Pros: One of us had the last seat on the plane even though they were reserved almost a month ago. However we had signed up for basic economy so that was not a shock. What was a shock was that water was dripping from the top side track onto his lap and he had to use the provided brochures to redirect the dripping water. The steward said it was condensation and that was it. Also, since it was next to bathroom, the smell wasn't great and the small child screaming while waiting to get into the bathroom wasn't pleasant.
Cons: I had a man sit next to me who was in the wrong seat but didn't move. He told the girl to keep his seat and he would stay next to me. He was so big he was in my space and had didn't make any effort to try not to spill over in my area. I had to put a magazine next to my thigh because his body was so hot it was damp! I hated the entire trip. I was cramped up and extremely uncomfortable. This is simply unacceptable to have this happen because huge people can't fit in one seat. I want these obese people to be required to purchase 2 seats because they take mine.
Pros: Plane left on time
Cons: I know Hawaii is a domestic flight but offering a cookie and a bag of pretzels on an 11 hour flight is ridiculous. There was something wrong with screen at my seat. They tried fixing it but no luck. It was very frustrating. The second leg of my journey was from D.C. To Newark. A "puddle jumper "that you disembark from onto the tarmac, get to wait in the rain while they unload you "carry on" luggage from the back of the plane. Herd you onto a bus yelling at you" if your going to gate C this bus going to gate A that bus".No one to ask "how do I know what gate I am supposed to go to?". They definitely treated"commuter "passengers like sheep. "Thank You For Flying With United "blah blah blah
Pros: It was fast & we didn't die we're the only good things
Cons: The Flight attendant was rude and mean , the plane was small and old .. But most of all he flight attendant ruined the flight for everyone. I even heard people saying she was mean as they were getting off the flight. I think her career as a flight attendant has ran its course (she was pretty old also)
Pros: The stewards were nice and they were prompt. The plane seemed to be well cleaned inside and they were quick to get everyone boarded and bags stowed underneath. The pilot knew what he was doing and I had no worries there. Everyone was doing their jobs as well as they could be done.
Cons: The air nozzle above my seat was broken and would not turn off so I freezing the entire flight, as well as the tray table seeming like it was meant for the lap of an infant versus myself and I can't imagine how someone with longer legs than myself dealt with the way it folded down. The take off was rough either seemingly due to tires or perhaps a rough runway. The wifi on the plane would not work. It worked ok my first flight but not on the second. I don't know why and no one knew why either, had the latest app and it was updated to the current version.
Pros: United really could have done better informing us of delay, then cancellation. I knew it was likely to be delayed due to weather, and kept checking the status. It wasn't listed as delayed until nearly boarding time, although it seems pretty clear they knew well before that. But SFO was a star. The new decor is sophisticated and comfortable. Bathrooms were like at a swanky night club! Comfy chairs and charging outlets every where. The biggest hit was the Exploratorium installation, which kept my and plenty of other kids entertained!
Cons: Wayfinding signage from BART is confusing. BART connection is a pain. The machines in the station only take $1 and $5 bills-- no 20s or credit cards! And no one at BART cares if you are running late for a flight.
Cons: The terminal number on my ticket was wrong and when me and some other customers asked the flight lady what was going on she was of very little help. Not only that but she was making a personal phone call. So I had to rush to the other end and then just to find out that they didn't have enough room to put my carry on so I had to place it enbetween my legs which made for an even more uncomfortable flight. Also one of the flight attendant was particularly rude and kept saying she had to do her job in a very rude tone to the point were an older retired man told her he's worked too hard in his life time to be talked to like that. Overall the poorest plane experience I've ever had and I fly quite a bit.
Pros: Some things about the flight were normal.
Cons: Our incoming flight was late arriving at Dulles. We bolted from that flight to the gate for our connecting flight to GSP. Two of our party of six made it and got onboard telling staff we were coming. We arrived moments later - moments later! - but were denied access because they said we were a minute late. Our small plane was just outside the door with access door still open and staff going in and out. Next flight was 5 hours later. We asked to speak to a supervisor and that was ignored until we demanded attention. The supervisor came 1.5 hours after we were denied plane access. Customer concern was nonexistant on this day.
Pros: Boarding was fast and easy. Crew was kind to allow me to use an empty seat in the middle row and get more space. Managed to connect to onboard entertainment with a tablet and avoided to use the tiny screen that still exists on United's 767s.
Cons: Food was a bit tasteless.
Pros: Aircraft remained grounded for 1h due to a door switch with malfunction.
Pros: Very smooth and comfortable flight.
Cons: So we arrived at the desk after a 7hr international flight ready for the final 1hr leg - only to be confronted with "flight overbooked" looking for 9 volunteers - how can you over book a 40 seat flight by 9 ???? So we had an anxious wait wondering if we'd be dumped from the flight - we weren't but it wasn't enjoyable waiting for the flight and our meeting with our grand kids.
Pros: I liked the fact that they were able to find another aircraft for us to travel to Dulles
Cons: I didnt like the fact my flight was delayed all that time and i wasnt compensated for it. Airlines charge customers to change their flight all the time. And if you miss boarding you have to wait and be accomadated accordingly. I would like to be compensated for the time that i had to wait because i booked an earlier flight so i could make it back to my destination for other plans
Cons: Flight got camcelled made me late to duty station
Pros: Planes get delayed for all kinds of reasons both in and out f control of the airline. but something the airline does have control over is how it handles the sitsituatioby letting the passengers know their patience is appreciated. We sat on the runway for 2 and a half hours in summer afternoon in Washington DC because of weather in New York. Only once were we offered a small cup of tepid water. Then someone remembered the pets stuck in the cargo hold, and we went back to the gate. After deplaning, we stood at the gate for thirty minutes and weren't given vouchers for refreshments on the concourse nor bottles or at least bottles of water. Finally we were called for boarding, and then 10 minutes after that, the first passenger actually got on. After a second boarding we made it out to the runway... where we sat for another 40 minutes. Keep in mind, this particular plane has no seat outlets nor in seat entertainment systems, so most people had either dead or dying phones at this point, rendering the "complimentary in flight entertainment" available through the United app useless. Once we were finally in air, we weren't comped drinks or Internet or any other amenity offered by United. I've been stuck in situations like this on other airlines, but they worked to provide the barest glimmer of hospitality. Fly the friendly skies? Nah, we'll overcharge you for everything because our business model is unsustainable but our majority shareholders couldn't care less. A Star Alliance Member™.

Pros: The young lady who was the flight attendant was very nice and tried to make a very bad situation somewhat bearable. There were a number of children on the flight that she was very attentive to. I hope united treats their employees better than they treat their passengers.
Cons: The flight was delayed for 4 hours. We were told to proceed to the United terminal in spite of the delay. There seemed to be no effort to inform or assist us. There was very little to do in this terminal but wait to see if our flight would eventually come. There were other United passengers in the terminal who were also waiting for overly delayed flights. eventually, we had a plane that was extremely small, cramped and uncomfortable. United seems to consistently oversell its seats and then tried to get people to give up their seats. Very poorly managed airline with bad customer service. Sadly, I have to say that I have never had an acceptable experience on a united flight. Will NOT take another United flight.
Pros: Very efficient.
Cons: When diverting around storms, let us know more flight time is involved. Not a peep from the crew.
Pros: Crew was wonderful.
Cons: Seat was not comfortable for me but I have a bad back so not that it would affect others the same.
Pros: The crew was excellent
Pros: Boarding back to front makes so much sense! Thanks!
Pros: The flight itself was a nice flight. The captain and first officer were communicative and the few times we experienced turbulence I felt like they immediately tried to minimize it. I had a good amount of room in my seat (I was not in an emergency exit row) and I had no problems with my luggage.
Cons: There was a 2 hour delay to take off. When your flight is at 7am and you've woken up at 3:30 or 4 to get to the airport on time, it's a bit frustrating to wait an extra 2 hours to leave. The gate agents were woefully uninformed and when they did communicate with passengers it was vague and unhelpful. The gate agents kept referring to the need for "maintenance" on the aircraft. It doesn't inspire a great deal of confidence in the soundness of the plane to hear that the maintenance crew is trying to "fix something in the cockpit." The Departures monitors and my Kayak app were giving me delay updates before the gate agents were. At one point we switched gates (it was the gate directly across from the original gate) and I watched as passengers at one gate literally traded places with passengers at another gate because the flights had swapped gates. It was comical. Overall, just a disorganized, uninformative, frustrating mess.
Pros: Flight crew was pleasant.
Cons: Flight was delayed 9 hours. Weather on both ends was great. Stuff happens, I get it. But to have no one at the gate and no explanation is incredibly cowardly. And then to do the usual banter at 2 and 3 in the morning thanking us for “choosing” Frontier and other chipper comments rang incredibly hollow. Things like “we hope you had a great flight!” A great flight by Frontier standards would have gotten us to our destination on time. The meal voucher is a complete joke — sending an email for us to get the voucher from the gate agent AND THEN NOT HAVING A GATE AGENT UNTIL 90% OF THE AIRPORT RESTAURANTS ARE CLOSED is just beyond all decency. I will never fly Frontier again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid it like the plague. If you only have one thing to offer (reasonably on time flights) then you should do that one thing really well. Frontier doesn’t.
Pros: When we were able to finally board and depart, it was expedited.
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that with numerous delays, we were not even given actual information as to the cause. At one point the, the person at the desk picked up their belongings and left the passengers at the gate. Weather was the excuse but there wasn’t any severe weather in either destination!
Pros: I liked that we left on time and actually arrived early.
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that you have to pay for wveeyrhing.I don’t like that they nickel and dime you
Pros: Boarding was fast and the crew was attentive
Cons: They charge extra fees for everything, $45 for a carry on bag at check in and $60 at the gate, unacceptable. They also have the most uncomfortable seats of all the airlines I have travel with, like baseball stadium uncomfortable.
Cons: The fact i got stranded.
Cons: I booked a flight with them for the Thanksgiving holiday.... I was supposed to travel Wednesday 22 - Saturday to STLand back... I was IMMEDIATELY shocked by only being able to carry 1 personal item... When I found out exactly how small 45 centimeters was...I tried to cancel the trip & be refunded within 5-6 hours.... They told me to fill out a form & return it to them... THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO GET BACK TO ME WITHIN HOURS TO NOTIFY OF THE REFUND AMOUNT & NOT...I REPEAT NOT ACTUALLY CANCEL THE TRIP UNLESS I AGREED TO THE REFUND AMOUNT... I never heard anything from them! I just assumed it was just taking forever for them to approve my refund... Therefore...assuming that the flight was still booked...SINCE I never APPROVED ANY REFUND... I visited kiwi.com several times before the the trip & there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING informing me of any trip cancellation... I went to the airport... Wasn’t able to board... Talked to kiwi.on the phone... Didn’t find out the trip was canceled until after the boarding was closed for that flight. Pros: Cheap flight
Cons: Bag fee
Cons: The tickets look like a deal until they charge for every other thing. The information regarding what bag can be carried on without a fee is very confusing. We paid and then saw people rolling cases and putting them in the overhead bin. The seat prices are ridiculous so you don't want to pay for a seat they will assign you for free, I was then told I had to go to the gate to get a seat assignment even though I had already purchased a ticket. I waited for almost an hour before someone showed up. I was told the only seats left were the exit rows. Luckily I am healthy. If I have paid for a ticket Frontier should guarantee me a seat. We had to wait in line even though we had already paid for our bags and some of us went on line and checked in and had boarding passes. Where is the short cut then?? It was so convoluted we will never fly Frontier again. Too much work, let me pay for the ticket and let me have a bag and give me a seat for crying out loud. The flight crew was great. Very nice.
Pros: the crew was very entertaining which always helps make the trip more pleasant.
Cons: Too bumping of a flight. Not sure there was anything that could be done about that but I'm guessing a higher altitude may of helped but i am not a expert, just a nervous flier.
Cons: seats are worn out, you have to pay to place a bag in overhead compartments
Cons: Flight originally schedule for 6:30 am - did not depart until after 8:00 am due to multiple delays.
Cons: They gave our captain to an Atlanta flight. We had to wait for another captain to get to DIA. Then we got loaded up and had to wait for the east gate to open, then they had to map out another plan I.e., the northeast gate (and that didn't materialize) soooo we sat on the plane until we receive the okay to depart on "the east gate". Which was approximately 21:30. We finally arrived at approximately 01:00 a little more than hour late. It took better than 30 minutes for us to get our luggage. Stupid crazy that a person is paying ridiculous prices for pitiful customer service.
Pros: Kindness and consideration and the understanding of their staff.
Cons: Have to pay so much for luggage thought I was really getting a great deal but really was the same as the other airlines give or take.
Pros: The landing was good.
Cons: $40 for a carry on? Come on now. $5 seat upcharge because "window seat"? Chairs that don't recline? You interrupt my already terrible nap so you can try to sell the entire plane your "no-black-outs" Mastercard. The cabin was much too hot, people complained and nothing was done -- adding insult to injury, water costs money. Every aspect of buying a ticket is littered with popups to upsell you to something "better" or more "exclusive". The entire experience from buying a ticket to touch-down was dehumanizing and an insult my intelligence.
Pros: The crew. That's it.
Cons: Biggest regret buying this "discounted" ticket. Not a real discount. Found out there were a bunch of hidden fees when I was checking in. They charge $60 for the checked bag EACH WAY and was super shocked they charge for a CARRYON!! Unbelievable. None of the regular seats recline whatsoever unless you pay more hidden fees just to have your seat not be straight up the entire time, and there is no front table to put a computer. To save another dime, they installed some super cheap 6 inch x 3 inch mini ledges that they call tables. I'll NEVER fly with Frontier again. They also refused to let me check in early so I had to sit and wait for hours since they refused to give me a boarding pass until I came all the way back to ticketing exactly and only exactly at 2 hours before boarding. Worst flight. A total shame since the crew was incredibly nice.
Pros: I really did not feel any more crowded or uncomfortable than any other airplane Ive been on. I sort of like that the tray tables are the size of a large cell phone- less bulky than regular tray tables.
Cons: The crew wasn't bad, just seemed unhappy to be there. There was some confusion with which gate we should be at, changed us three times before settling on the original gate. Boarding was no problem but then we waited without taking off for over 45 minutes. The pilot came over the intercom and informed us that he had no idea why we were delayed to take off, but that he would "find shortcuts" to get us there on time. The biggest gripe that we have is once we landed and went to baggage, several of us waited for golf clubs for close to an hour before a worker realized "they forgot" to turn on the button to allow oversized items to come out. Then she said "sorry I was busy with ticketing and Frontier doesn't have a baggage attendant". I just dont think the extra savings was quite worth the frustration.
Pros: The flight was on time.
Cons: The crew people at the Frontier check-in desk were very unhelpful and rude. We missed our flight because we arrived at the counter to check our bags past the cutoff time to be checked in by 1 minute (due to long lines). That was partially our fault but the representative who was helping us did absolutely nothing to help us problem solve and seemed almost pleased to tell us that she couldn't take our bags. I rarely see such bad customer service. I have heard that Frontier pays their staff very poorly compared to other airlines and I assume this is why the customer service reps are so jaded.
Pros: I was very surprised at all of the small things and extra charges that you had for the flight. For example, even just paying for a soda on board I thought was a little overboard. And then once my flight was canceled they were of no help on rescheduling my flight and were not able to find another frontier flight for four more days. Myself and others were left to reschedule our own flights without any repayment of the difference in ticket price. I will not fly this airline again I caution everyone else at the lack of customer support and professionalism .
Cons: Frontier needs a different business model and better customer service instead of all the nickel and diming people. Right now i will never book Frontier again.
Pros: Frontier has constant hidden charges. I flew to my destination using my Frontier phone app and when I went to fly back I was not able to submit on Frontier's boarding pass on my phone Frontier phone app. I had to use a computer which caused me to delay my boarding pass and the reason Frontier did not let me get my boarding pass on the phone app as Frontier wanted me to choose a seat and charge additional charges. I did not accept this choice and let Frontier choose my seat for no cost. Frontier needs to change to access your boarding pass on their phone app. I could see the boarding pass on the app after I went into a regular computer and kept saying "NO" to additional cost of baggage and seating cost. The Frontier airlines seats do not recline and are hard plastic seats and not comfortable. (I only weight 125 lbs) Also, during the flight I had to hear the commercial of Frontier credit card commercials over the loud speaker. I wanted to sleep not listen to commercials of their credit card. They charge for all food and drinks except water which is fine since it was only a 2 hour flight.
Cons: I understand that a lot of flights are charging for snacks and drinks these days and calling it a la carte (to make it sound fancy enough to justify the expense), but it is ridiculous to be expected to pay $3 for a bag of pretzels or a soda on a flight. Hiding that cost in the price of the ticket gives a MUCH better impression than being on the flight and waiting for the long-standing cherished ritual of accepting your meager snack, only to find that you have to pay $6 for it. Between this and the overall discomfort of the seats (they didn't recline, so I couldn't nap), the lack of in-flight magazine (if I can't nap, can't I at least pass the time with a crossword?), the carry-on fee, and the fact that the flight crew reminded us four or five times that they were also the clean-up crew so we should help them out by not littering, it was the most uncomfortable of any flight I have ever taken.
Cons: I booked this ticket about a month ago. I was traveling to va to drive in a car race. I rented a race car, had it delivered to the track, payed my entry fee and just had to show up at the race track to drive. Total for the weekend was about 3k$ The day of my flight around 3 in the afternoon, I attempted to check into my flight. There seemed to be something wrong with frontiers website as I kept getting a red error message. I made about 15 attempts from two different computers. I kept getting an error. There was clearly a problem on Frontiers end. I would have to check in at the airport. I do not check luggage and being a red eye, I arrived at the Frontier kiosk an hour before my flight (plenty of time). I made multiple failed attempts to print my boarding pass before waiting in line. After the wait in line, the very unfriendly Frontier lady scolded me for not arriving earlier and said I would have to wait to speak with the manager as she could not help me. After another wait the manager told me that the flight was oversold and the tickets were given out based on when people checked in and all he could do was put me on the same flight tomorrow. Which was pointless because my race was at 9am the next day. I am not sure how this is even legal? It certainly is not fair, I will never book a flight on frontier again, I may not even use kayak. I am out thousands of dollars, and very mad about everything to do with this.
Pros: The pilot, because we did land
Cons: Hiddend fees for everything. (2 carry on cost $120 round trip..fyi) Cancelled flight 6 days prior, no other options and had to change airports to fly the same day to keep the planned events booked months earlier. Lied to by customer service on cancellation and Frontier took no responsibility for their ridiculous actions and could care less we were stranded in a different state with no way to get back...(without switching airports or book using a different airline at a $500+ seat price.) Just awful and will go out of my way for friends and family to NEVER fly frontier again.
Pros: Flight was still comfortable, considering we had to fly over a lighting storm.
Cons: the price for the trip does not include that you have to pay for Carry-on, and seat assignment, which is an odd expense to passengers. Especially for shorter trips with the round trip the carry on charge would equal up to at least $60. Which would equal to another airline who is comparatively better especially because those airlines aren't worrying about charging the customers for every single thing. So even though I comparison shop for my ticket, by the time I paid for these additional fees, I could have purchased a ticket from another airline for less money.
Cons: I fly Frontier often and am very comfortable with their no-frills concept. However, I don't think "no fills" should also include "no information about delays." This flight was delayed four hours and with no gate attendant to make announcements. In fact, the board outside the boarding gate still said "On time" even an hour and a half after the departure time. Each board in the airport said something different. Only by looking up my flight on a third-party website on my phone was I able to learn each time the flight was delayed. This is unacceptable. Delays happen and I'm comfortable with that. However, it is absolutely unacceptable to not let passages know about these delays. It was very difficult to keep my family updated on the other end, when I had no information to tell them.
Pros: I made it safely to Denver from DC.
Cons: We arrived in denver at 0820 and sat on the tar mat until 945 (when we were told we would have a gate at 0845) then finally got to a gate. Then the entire flight stood around the baggage claim until 1130 with no word on when to expect our bags until 1145 when we were told our bags would be anywhere from another hour and a half to two and a half hours from that time. At that point I decided to leave the airport to head to an appointment (that I was now two hours late to) and leave my bags to sit unclaimed whenever they decided to show up. I returned that evening at 1800 to finally pick up my luggage. I will be telling family and friends to NEVER fly frontier because this was by far the absolute worst travel experience. The frontier airline did not even try to smooth anything over with the passages on this flight who had to spend over four hours sitting in the airport baggage claim without access to the restaurants or amenities in the concourses. Seriously, no apologies offer of accommodation or anything.
Cons: The seats, the pilots they land to rough and at a high rate of speed!!
Pros: The snacks were good, and the crew seemed to engage with the passengers well. Also, since I got a carry on bag I was able to be one of the first to board the plane which was very convenient.
Cons: I booked this flight because I thought it would be cheaper in the long run, but it ended up costing me about the same as it would to fly southwest non-stop. You had to pay for your seats and bags! Carry on bags should not be items that are charged for. Also, it should be mentioned somewhere that after row 13, the seats do not recline and you have smaller leg room. If I had known that, I would have bought my seat further up on the plane. There was also no flight entertainment, and no wifi on board. For longer flights, I think it is necessary to provide your passengers with some sort of entertainment. This is especially true if your passengers are sitting on extremely uncomfortable seats.
Cons: Employees were extraordinarily rude and unhelpful. They lost my bag and no one was able to provide any information about it for days, and acted as if I was inconveniencing them. I will never fly this airlines again and I will be sure none of my family or friends do either. I was appalled by their service and cannot believe they have stayed in business. I spent $100 extra on carry on baggage! I couldn't believe it. I have never been charged for carry on baggage in my life.
Pros: The price was excellent and staff very friendly. Landing in STL was very smooth...pilot did a super job.
Cons: There was a mix-up in the baggage loading, thus we were delayed about 40 minutes or so...it seemed longer since it was a late flight. The attendants were very nice, air-conditioning made it all comfortable during the long wait. I totally understand how accidents can happen and I think the crew handled the delay very well. The attendant was very nice and during refreshment service, my daughter asked for 2 glasses of water and she gave them to us. We had not planned to be on the plane so long so I had not brought along anything to drink. All in all, it was a good flight. Thank you.
Pros: The crew, while visibly understaffed and overworked they were still pleasant.
Cons: Where do I start? Price looks really competitive at first. This is just because the flight itself only about half the actual cost. These jokers charge for everything. Checked baggage is standard but they want money for everything. Carry on bag, water, every seat has a surcharge. They'd charge for the air you breath if it was legal. Both planes I flew in were miserable. Tiny, uncomfortable seats that don't recline. First flight was 2 hours delayed. OK, these things happen. None of the other airlines had delays though. They sent me four emails about the delay which would have been nice if a single one of the emails was actually correct. Nope, four incorrect times. The last email was telling me that my flight was delayed to 7:10 AM. This would have been nice except the previous email told me it was delayed to 7:50 AM and I received the email at 8:40 AM. Being 2 hours delayed meant that I had time to sprint from my first flight to the next, barely. I barely make my connection flight, sit down, door closes and we wait. And wait. And wait. Spent 45 minutes at the terminal while they load baggage. Now that I've had no time to eat on my layover I look at the ”menu”. $3 soda, $3 cracker, $3 water... Miserable
Cons: We were delayed almost an hour, which I know happens, however the boarding process took forever, as the desk seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. I did not appreciate the "nickel and dime-ing" from Frontier at all. I paid for my ticket at a face value of $140, and when I checked in, I had to pay an additional $102. I absolutely would have selected a different airline, that would have cost less than the $250 I ended up paying for Frontier. That leads to frustration and lack of trust for your company, as you try to cheat your customers into paying more for their flight than what you purport on sites like Kayak. Needless to say, this experience will prevent me from choosing Frontier in the future.
Pros: It boarded on time
Cons: -Little table to eat. -Seats and rows way too narrow -They charge for carry ons, snacks, and probably air. It was ridiculous how I was nickled and dimes. -The wait to drop the bags was excessive >25 minutes at IAD. This is sad being that I paid ahead of time.
Pros: The flight was good (smooth and on time), flight attendants were great.
Cons: I do NOT like the seats on this plane (Airbus 319 and 320) at all. I paid extra and I still don't know what it got me, other than a more expensive, very uncomfortable seat. I am not a big person by any means; my complaint is that the seat is bony and too upright. The toilet was in bad shape from the very beginning of the flight (I know because I used it). It reeked of urine and the lighting was poor.
Pros: I loved the price of the tickets. My children spend the summer between Iowa and Alabama. So we travel a lot. I normally drive to Kentucky to meet up with Grandma to let them go north for part of the summer. However, this year I have planned a honeymoon, and even planned going to Virginia two weekends back to back. I thought I would fly to St. Louis from Atlanta to cut down on the driving. (I tend to get sick on road trips anyway, a flight would be nice). I found these tickets for around $50 each. I needed 3. Got them. The flight to St Louis was quick. We landed 20 mins ahead of schedule. (Made my return trip great as I was back on the same plane and was sorta freaking out about making it back to the gate in time) Landed in St Louis walked to baggage claim met up with Grandma returned with time to spare. The return flight was the same. I did not like the seats. I ended up with a massive migraine no fault of the airline but I would have loved to have been a little more comfortable. It has been a long time from my last flight and this one. The price of baggage went up. (As well as tickets which is one reason its been a while) I did notice that the airline is wanting you to prepay for baggage when you purchase the tickets. In the long run makes in SO MUCH EASIER! And with the most recent issues with TSA and getting through security that speeds things up. I paid for one checked bag. And using the frontier site was cheaper than I would have been charged at the airport. Overall I can't complain. I did make it to and from my destination on time and safely. My bag was in one piece. The seats not being the best is a minor detail. Oh. And unlike some of the other flights this one did not offer free drinks and snacks. I've flown Southwest, and Delta I was offered a soft drink and a small bag of something. I was offered to purchase these from this line. Found it odd.
Pros: The cabin was clean, and the staff was friendly.
Cons: I was disappointed in the surprise costs of luggage. I packed everything in a carryon so that I wouldn't have to pay for a check bag, but turns out a carry on costs $40 at check in. I understand it was a cheap flight, but I may have made a different decision if I knew there was an extra hidden cost of $80 round trip. On other notes, on the first flight of my two, the plane was swerving back and forth on takeoff and landing. The weather was fine, and I've flown plenty enough to know this wasn't normal. My second flight was fine. It was on the same plane, but the crew changed, so I guess it was pilot causing it to be this way? The seats were uncomfortable in coach for long periods of time compared to other airlines, and did not recline.
Pros: Crew was friendly. Plane was clean.
Cons: When booking and checking in, no opportunity to enter Known Traveler ID number, so did not get TSA precheck. No information when booking about additional charges - $30 for a carry-on bag?? additional fees almost doubled the price of the ticket. On the flight, the volume of pilot announcements were very loud, crew said it was a new plane and the volume wasn't adjusted yet. I have never been on a flight where I had to pay for water! I have since learned Frontier doesn't allow TSA precheck - will never fly this airline again for that reason.
Pros: Never flew with any other airlines aside from United until I flew for the first time with Frontier. I have to say, I had a pretty good experience. I didn't expect the best accomidations compared with a major airline. But for a budget airline, I'm actually surprised and happy that there was a straight flight from MCO to STL. I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked.
Cons: I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining.
Pros: The crew was very professional and very nice. The equipment was new and clean, which is also greatly appreciated. Excellent job in these two areas.
Cons: Absolutely do not like that Frontier Airlines does not offer TSA Pre-Check service for its passengers who are enrolled in the program. I was not aware of this ahead of time, but it was confirmed to me after looking at my ticketing and speaking with several TSA agents from my departing airport, Orlando (MCO). They said Frontier is one of the very few carriers that do not participate in this program for some reason. I would love to know what that reason is? This is a very important feature for me. Without a good reason for not offering this service, I must say I am far less likely to chose Frontier in the future, along with having to make recommendations to my colleagues to avoid Frontier for this reason for their travel needs as well.
Pros: Considering I almost didn't get a seat in the plane even though I paid for my flight prior to the fly day, there isn't much that I did like. However, I do realize that it was not any of the crews fault. With that being said, I loved how informational and informative and polite the flight crew was. Even the pilot had great communication with us and the flight attendants.
Cons: Well where should I start. Talk about delay and they wouldn't even up date up on the delays either. When I would walk up to the desk and ask he was too busy to answer any of my questions. I also got there early and I aparntly didn't have a seat on the plane! I was going home to supruze my father for easter and there was no way I could have gone any later. I waited for everyone else to line up and go inside and get their seat because I noticed that my ticket has NN on my seat number and my zone was 99. This is very uncalled for. Considering that I payed an outrageous cost for one damn flight to Illinois in which I know you all do every night! They closed the doors to the hallway to the plane and informed not only myself but 3 others to go to the desk and they would figure out what they could! THERE WAS A WOMEN WHO HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET HOME FOR 3 DAYS. So you obviously had screwed her over and now you were about to screw all of us. Now I will say yes I am very upset with you at Frontier. But I was not about to take it out on the people working at the airport. The companies practice of overbooking is unexceptable during this time of year, Easter weekend, and not saving a seat for a women who has been trying to go home for three days. I am very upset and my ticket was very overpriced. Specially for how I got treated, due to he overbooking. Now they had one seat saved/ left over and because I kept my calm and didn't yell at your workers inside he airport they offered it to me. But if it was not for my calmness I would not be home with my family. That right there is unexceprtable!
Cons: Worst experience ever. I am a frequent flyer and I will NEVER give frontier my business again. Our flight was delayed without explaination... Hidden fees... I paid $350 to bring 3 bags. And I had to pay for my seat... ludacris... I was 45 minutes early for my departure and was told I was 2 MINUTES too late and I could not board the plane. ZERO courtesy, compassion, or help from the crew. They gave me a blank stare as I balled like a baby (Trying to get home to my infant son) ... Proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do and that for $200 I could fly home the following night!! 200 dollars for a flight I already paid for!!... They even charge for WATER for crying out loud ... I could go on... pitaful.
Cons: Don't fly, they charge you for everything ,even a carry-on $65 and they are super rude. They made my brother miss his flight because he was 35 minutes before take off instead of there 40 minute rule. Don't do it !!!!
