Cons: "As soon as we all were boarded we where told there was a mechanical issue. Sat on the boarded cramped flight for 2 hours until issue was fixed. If there was a mechanical issue then the plane should’ve not been boarded until it was fixed. Much rather have waited in lobby for 2 hours than on a plane with no food and water. Or at least alllowed us to deboard while issues where resolved."

I always fly First Class for the extra room and perks of crew service. Crew spent most time in galley chatting. Not a bad flight by any means but I guess I have been spoiled by superior service on all of my other weekly Delta flights."

Cons: "Delta doesn't manage their flight schedules and personnel with backup or standby crew in order to assist whenever there are delays across domestic flights. The plane was late to arrive at the gate and we were also told that while the pilot was ready to take off, we couldn't leave because we were waiting for a flight attendant to land from Pittsburgh (we were in La Guardia airport in NYC). delta would rather I convenience the flyer instead of hiring more personnel or figuring out standby or backup plans for delayed flights."

Pros: "I could have flown United direct for about the same price - but chose to fly Delta via Atlanta because, well, it's DELTA. Delta's first class is really first class - it's more than just a bigger seat .... the staff from the counter to the cabin crew all treat you like you're a valued first class customer. The experience of flying today is mostly like being shoved into a subway train in Japan with no genuine gratitude for my patronage. Not with Delta - they really do go above and beyond and it is not lost on me."

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Cons: "the airplane was absolutely freezing. It was so cold, you could actually see the air blowing (like in winter). There's no need for that. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

The agent printed bag checks for me to my final destination and told me how to get needed boarding pass for the final stage. How wonderful to have pleasant and professional personal attention."

Cons: "Arrived in Phoenix and hurried to my next gate for the flight to Palm Springs only to discover a delay in the flight. No marguees were updated, no explanation just the plane had not arrived. Soon after we were told of a gate change, the marquee then said the flight would not arrive until 11 pm it is a one hour flight, so we actually arrived at 10 pm."

Cons: "Attempted to make my connection which was in another terminal. Could not get onboard as they shut the doors. My rerouted flight was in a different terminal. Overall a very disappointing travel experience."

Cons: "Seeing as this flight was cancelled and we had to wait as two elderly people until 3pm the next day to get another flight and American Airlines would not compensate in anyway. I would say that we will never fly American Airlines again nor will my family. This was not the only delay or cancellation because of American either. We spent 48 hours traveling because of delays and cancellations and still American would do nothing for us. I'm 66 and my husband is 72 (who also has had back surgery for five slipped discs) and we had to sleep on concrete floors and had very limited money to buy food. It was by far the worst experience of my life and I would encourage everyone to not travel with them."

Cons: "The Washington airport is horrible. The gate we left from was not a gate but a series of doors that buses came to. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Cons: "To start, the boarding process is a chaos. First class and executive platinums should board first, but of course the gate agent was completely clueless and rude, even to an ExPlat. Althiugh the flight is only 1.35 hours, I was surprised that flight attendants didn't even make an effort to offer a drink service. No turbulence or anything, just seems they were lazy."

Cons: "I feel like the airline should know LGA is backed up since they flight mostly the same schedule daily. Flight AA2174 should be pushed to a later time so passengers don't have to sit on the tarmac."

Pros: "From start to finish the flight faced problems: unscheduled stop for refueling, change in planes for mechanical problems, emergency medical intervention, and more. Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

Pros: "One of us had the last seat on the plane even though they were reserved almost a month ago. However we had signed up for basic economy so that was not a shock. What was a shock was that water was dripping from the top side track onto his lap and he had to use the provided brochures to redirect the dripping water. The steward said it was condensation and that was it. Also, since it was next to bathroom, the smell wasn't great and the small child screaming while waiting to get into the bathroom wasn't pleasant."

After standing in line at the United counter for 2 hours, we were told to go to our gate to re-board our plane. we wasted all that time standing and all but 2 agents had left the counter to take a break. it was EXTREMELY STRESSFUL not knowing what would happen to our missed connections. when we reboarded WE still did not have connecting flights.Also, on the United flight to Frankfurt, I had a premium economy seat and it was HORRIFIC. the extra leg room did NOT make the seat more comfortable and I SUFFERED greatly because I am recovering from an injury. Upon arrival in Frankfurt, after a great deal of begging, I got a hotel room for the night and upgrad to economy premium for the flight from Frankfurt to Addis. that Lufthana flight was better because my seat reclined somewhat but still I had a great deal of pain throughout the flight and I would have preferred to have been upgraded to business so that I could lay flat to ease my physical pain. Overall, the experience was extremely STRESSFUL and painful and the only way, I feel that Lufthana can repair this situation is to give me a free upgrade to business on my flight home.to Miami"

Cons: "The plane was old. Entertainment screen too small and no way to restart a show. No AC power sockets at chairs. I was sitting at back of the plane and at the time food came there was no choice - they ran out of food options. Also, the plane storage bins were too small to fit small bags."

Pros: "Lots of movies and shows plus constant tracking info."
Cons: "Closeness of seats and worn out touch screens on seat backs resulted in people behind us constantly kicking and pounding on our setbacks throughout the flight. Cleaning crew did not do a thorough job, leaving trash and used chewing gum on floor from previous flight."

Cons: "My 3rd old was very hungry and I reached out to cabin staff for any kind of food for purchase, they turned me down saying I need to wait for another hour till the dinner time. Did not provide any help there. My baggage did not reach with me and they promised to deliver it with in next 6 hours and it turned out that they took more than 18 hours to deliver my baggage to my home. My entire day got wasted waiting for this baggage to reach me. Poor communication made me wait and watch the door every hour. I tried to reach and get some information on when that baggage would reach me but no body knows."

Cons: "Seats were really tight on this flight and I felt like I was either in the way of the isle or into the seat next to me. Plus the person next to me was listening to their music so loud I could pretty much clearly make out each annoying song."

Cons: "Seats were very thinly padded, small and non adjustable. The price for both CARRY ON and checked luggage was the highest I have found, $45 carry on and $40 checked. The price for a drink of any kind, water, soft drink and so forth was way too high. Anything to eat was also out of line. If you are diabetic be for warned, bring your own. My flight from Nashville to Las Vegas was so bad, as far as hidden fees and customer service goes, I tried to book a on any other airline for the return trip to Nashville. This was even though I had a round trip ticket on Frontier. To my dismay all other airlines were full. I am writing this review as I wait at the gate for a departure time on my Frontier return trip, we are 2 hours late for departure with no new departure time given. There are not any Frontier employees in the gate area to give updates. This is the bottom of the barrel for airlines and I will not ever be flying Frontier Airlines again."

Cons: "Riding on an American airlines is like spending a few hours in prison. The worst is Spirit arilines, where they do not even provide free water on a four hour flight. Frontier airlines is only one step above because they will give you water. The seats are too tight, not enough leg room. I'm 6'2" and 230 lbs. You buy a ticket for a reasonable amount, but then you get hit with the unreasonable add ons: you want checked bag $35, carry-on baggage $45, you want to sit together $25, and on and on. Let me not forget, I need a boarding pass to get thru security to get to the gate to catch the flight I have paid for, $5. I'm looking for an airline that puts people before profit.#AMERICANAIRLINESSUCK"

One or the other please, but not both! 3) Understand that all airlines charge for food these days, but water? Really?"

Cons: "Don't fly, they charge you for everything ,even a carry-on $65 and they are super rude. They made my brother miss his flight because he was 35 minutes before take off instead of there 40 minute rule. Don't do it !!!!"

Cons: "Plane was delayed by 5 and a half hours due to a storm. Something Frontier had no control over. What they did have control over, however, was their communication, which was non-existent. People at the gate wouldn't tell passengers anything, and responded to questions with "I don't know." When one woman complained about the lack of communication, a Frontier worker told her dismissively that she could call the manager. We kept learning about the flight delays by watching the status board. The front gate workers wouldn't say anything, and most people were too worried about missing the flight to run and get something to eat."

Cons: "Booked this flight in Oct, round trip from N'ville-Denver for $335. After reading the "know before you go " info as best I could I understood a checked bag fee was $25. Carryon was $35, so I only checked a bag & no carryon. $25 fee was only if you also pay for carryon, plus surprise fee of $13/ person for selecting your seat! What a jip! I had bragged to many about the great deal I got with Frontier but after the additional $122 in fees it doesn't sound as good. Be more open & honest about ticket cost. $13+ for selecting your seat!? What the Hell?"

Cons: "Like the others who've commented, I was not aware that there were charges for seats, carry-on, and all food and beverages (excluding water). The additional charges added another $110.00 to the cost of my ticket. This is my first time flying Frontier. I may fly again in the future, but customers need to be aware of these additional costs."

Cons: "Like other reviewers here, I was extremely disappointed with Frontier. The round trip flight I purchased was advertised at $178. At no point during the purchase of this flight was I explicitly and directly warned that Frontier charges, at minimum, $30 (each way) to CARRY-ON luggage that must be placed in the overhead compartment. I do not know the cost to check baggage, but I assume it is comparable to the carry-on fee. In my ethically driven opinion, the round rip price of the trip should have been advertised at $238 to account for the baggage fees. I WAS MISLED. To make matters worse, because I was blissfully unaware of Frontier's carry-on policy and failed to read the fine print while checking in online, I WAS CHARGED $60 AT THE GATE to carry on my roller board. When I asked the gate agent to explain the charge, she - without eye contact and with a mean tone - condescendingly attributed the charge to my stupidity. She proceeded to spit this attitude to the DOZENS OF OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO WERE UNAWARE OF CHARGE AND HAD TO PAY AT THE GATE. In sum, I will end up paying an additional $90 in carry-on baggage fees. I will not fly Frontier again."

Pros: "The plane crew was amazing, friendly and service oriented. The baltimore boarding crew, borderline offensive when asked about the baggage fees(probably because she's tired of being the front line of complaint) but still poor attitudes don't soothe customers irritability with questions."
Cons: "Fees after fees, to breathe to carry on seat purchase I mean what did the initial ticket even buy?!?? Stop give the full cost up front instead of slowly taking money from passengers. I Won't fly frontier if I don't have to again, it'll be my very last choice."

Cons: "I did not like the fact that I was not informed from the very beginning that it was an "ala cart flight" If I had known that I had to pay for my first luggage and pay for my seat (if I wanted a choice of a window seat) I would have gone with another more expensive airline. I have a couple cards that allow free baggage and other perks, but I was not using those, to save my sister money since she was paying for the flight.It started at $278 round trip and ended costing me $390. I first chose a seat ($12.) near the back, and after a very stiff ride up to DC, I decided to upgrade to the $50. seat in the front for the ride back, to Orlando, thinking it had to be better and recline. It did not. Needless to say, I will not fly Frontier again."

Pros: "Great low price on flights. The flight we were on seemed new and looked clean. The seats were average comfort, no difference from other carriers."
Cons: "From start to end there will little things I feel could have been better. When I booked the flight it was easy and did not see that ALL luggage requires payment. Since most other carriers allow the 1 carry ons free... It would have been nice to know in advance and not be surprised at the counter by the juvenile ticket agent that although we are grateful she made us aware of the price for each piece of luggage/ carryons she also could have been more pleasant about it. Later as we were boarding a flight attendant cuts me off and is very audible about how there is no more room for carry ons. How did they run out of space? Isn't there overhead space for each seat and only 1 carry on per person? There is an extra surchage for carry ons ($10 more) to have them stowed with all the other suitcases in the end. On this flight another of the flight attendants is asking outloud how to pair her cell phone to the wifi... Really?? It just seems unprofessional, unprepared, disorganized. The service wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Is it too much to expect a higher level of service? As for the seats... They seemed new and I just wished they were a little more comfortable. A small adjustment like adding a foot rest on the back of the seat in front would be helful... Similar to the ones on charter buses the kind that can be adjusted folded up to stow beneath the seat and lowered when in use. (Just hoping the airline sees this and considers it.)"

Cons: "I arrived 43 minutes ahead of flight instead of 45, and was not allowed to check my bag, so I missed the flight. I have not seen my family in a year and the lady at the counter showed no remorse and offered no apologies. She kept an angry face asked me to please move out of the way for other customers. I will NEVER fly frontier again."

Yes you pay for it as well. And oh MY!!! Tiny tiny TINY space. And I am 5'2"!!! (And not overweight!!) come on frontier...."

Pros: "I like that frontier's transportation system is itemized. It is a great system for the light traveler (folks traveling with basically no baggage or carry-ons). It is better for short flights so one doesn't have to spend money on refreshments either."
Cons: "I don't like that the booking system leads one to believe that a seat MUST be purchased. I bought a seat, unnecessarily, on the outbound flight and found out from a friend that I didn't need to. Other than that, I'm a happy client."
