Pros: "Clean and nice staff"
Cons: "Seats separated from my friend for 14hrs."
Cons: "Why does the shorter of the two flights have more comfortable seats?"

Pros: "Everything was perfect! Thank you for a great experience!"
Pros: "Service was polite and efficient"
Cons: "Vegetarian food very difficult to book on JAL. Unlike most other major airlines they don't offer a vegetarian option routinely on their menus. Both I and another passenger who flew JAL the weekend before found the vegetarian food poor - very bland and too salty. The exact same menu all four times we flew. A pity as the rest of the service wa excellent. If JAL wishes to attract more international customers it would be a good idea for it to broaden its global perspective and provide better vegetarian options. I know others who've had similar concerns about other types of special meal."
Pros: "service is great!"
Pros: "Boarding was orderly and crew was nice and polite."
Cons: "The person in front of me reclined her seat entire fought crushing my knees and leaving NO legroom, couldn't even use foot rests!"

Pros: "Crew ok need dim liggts more like American airlines does they donnt realize how long travel times from us especially from chicago to toyko"
Cons: "Everything else ok"
Pros: "Attendants were very supportive. Food was very good."
Cons: "Restroom smelled bad"
Pros: "Everything, from booking till landing"
Pros: "I wasn't interested in the meal which i would eat in airplane before i got on the plane. So, without any expectation i got the meal. It tasted good and the service after meal was also good. If i have a chance later, want to take air Japan again."
Pros: "I felt well taken care of the whole time. When checking my bag, the attendant saw that I have a middle seat, and got me an exit row window, which allowed me to sleep. They accommodated a last-minute request for vegetarian meals. The flight felt like it took about half the time it actually did."
Cons: "I couldn't check in online without a JAL account."
Pros: "Good food and punctuality"
Cons: "No English subtitles for English speaking movies"
Pros: "The food was good, which I didn't expect. The crew was kind."
Pros: "Absolutely loved the flight. The flight staff was among the best I have flown with. In terms of service I could not have asked for any better. The seats were super comfortable with a great entertainment system/large screen. The layout essentially gave you a nearly private suite. The doos service was impeccable. The lavatories spotless, along with those cool Japanese bidets...first one I've seen on a plane. Overall, I loved the experience."
Cons: "Remarkably the one issue on this wonderful business class seat was a limited area of storage for small items, most significantly a lack of a pocket for a cell phone by the USB port. Also the armrest didn't rise when the seat was in upright mode."
Cons: "My flight was cancelled from Narita to Hong Kong and they put me up in a small unclean room. I was very disappointed with their service."
Cons: "I ordered Hindu vegeterian meal while coming to Chicago on phone with Japan Airline I got Asian veg food"
Pros: "My son and I enjoyed the courteous and genuinely friendly service and attention from all flight personnel paid too us to ensure a wonderful experience to and from Japan. From Hawaii JAL manager upon check in concern for my son not feeling well to the attendant realizing we spoke no Japanese to apologize and begin conversing in English, every one was pleasant and professional in desire to please us and make our trip so comfortable."
Pros: "The boarding was efficient. Cabin and lavatories were clean."
Cons: "The interior seems dated, with old-school channel based entertainment system, unlike the ondemand IFE most Asian airlines are equipped with. Meal service was also very slow - took over 50 minutes to serve the economy cabin. There was no choice of main available.. Main was an array of fish cakes type street snacks. It was edible but not impressive."
Cons: "I wish there were options in the food they serve."
Pros: "Good food, and entertaimet!"
Cons: "Chair is way too hard."
Pros: "Japan Airlines was a pleasure, from beginning to end & in between. The flight attendants emulate joy in their service to others, they are observant to the clients' needs even before they are asked for help. In a long flight such as this was, it was obvious that they also tend to the comfort of the passengers by ensuring that the restrooms are always clean & presentable. Will fly them again whenever I have the opportunity."
Cons: "Can't say that I have ANY complaints at all!!"
Pros: "Wonderful crew..nice plane and comfortable seats!"
Cons: "No inseat power or usb on the monitor"
Pros: "The crew were the only enjoyable part of this flight. They were helpful and nice."
