Cons: "The baggage drop attendant was very unhelpful when I asked if she could help me sort out an issue (when I checked in online for the second leg of my trip, i paid for my bag then but they wanted me to pay again for my first flight) and just dismissed me and said she couldn't help, making me pay again for my bag. Pros: "Left on time all went well in Atlanta"
Cons: "Impossible to figure out what to do in Toronto at Canadian Customs. You move from secure to unsecure then back to secure. It’s a mess and nobody tells you what to do or where to go. Picture process took 4 times. Nobody tells you that you have to transfer your own bags from Delta to West Jet. I even asked in a Toronto and they said no and nobody in Atlanta told me to collect my bags. So bags never made it until the next AM. The West Jet rep was very good and located the bags and they were delivered as promised. You should provide 3 page detailed instructions on how to handle Toronto. I am a seasoned traveler by the way. I’ve never seen anything worse. I could go on and on."
Cons: "was a difficult transition from delta to west jet in Toronto and we almost missed the flight"
Cons: "You had me check my hand luggage with expensive items that did not arrive."
Cons: "Delta staff taking care of rude/beligerant guests first vedore guests patiently/kindly waiting in line ... children watched that behavior and the jerks recieved special treatment. Flight staff ripped up guests boarding pass in face. Staff allowed ys to board plane and put our bags under plane and then crew timed out before take off. Never will use Delta again."

Cons: "No TV screen"
Pros: "I was able to get a gluten free snack"
Cons: "Tried to get an upgrade at the gate and they said our ticket wouldn't allow it."
Pros: "On time, courteous"
Pros: "Overall the actual flight was good..landing was kind of hard but I'm alive so not stressing that"
Cons: "..but the multiple delays are ridiculous, I would not fly Delta if I had a feasible choice."
Cons: "No space in the seats"
Cons: "All "carry-ons" were taken at the jetway, which was fine. But, when we landed, as passengers were trying to get off of the plane, the attendants were putting all of the collected luggage at the entry to the jetway. It created congestion. Then, anyone who had luggage, had to lineup against the side of the jetway, awaiting their luggage, and increasing the congestion. First, it was inconvenient. Worse, if there was any kind of emergency, I believe it would have created a unsafe environment. Very Poor Design & Process ! ! !"
Cons: "3 hours there before the departure."
Pros: "I make this trip every month. And this crew is the best I had in a while."
Pros: "Bulkhead seats - logos legroom"
Cons: "Very long boarding process - security checks and a long walk from connecting flight"
Cons: "Not a fan of having "final boarding call" announced to run to the gate, only to sit on the plane at the gate for 30 min because of a scheduled delay at my destination. I know the flight wasn't very full, but that cost me an opportunity to eat dinner. I had to cancel a fast food order because I thought I'd miss my flight!"
Pros: "That a delta plane actually had seat back video screens- First delta flight ever that I've been on that did. But every ones screen froze up just over an hour into the flight."
Cons: "Even though the Atlanta to Toronto arrived 'early' I had barely 20 minutes to get to the other plane- I would not have made it with out the amazing staff of weather and the Toronto airport. I use a wheelchair and even zipping through as fast as I could I was 15 minutes late arriving at the gate. I booked this flight thinking I had at least and hour and a bit between flights. Thankfully others on my flight were also late so the Ottawa bound plane did not leave on time"
Pros: "When you are delayed, there is not much to commend."
Cons: "Delayed. That pretty well says it all."
Pros: "The crew was good and the flight was smooth."
Cons: "Somehow we were double booked and double billed. We got to the airport 3 hours early and checked our bags. All 3 were lost and searched. Everything was put back precariously and there was shampoo and lotion everywhere."
Pros: "The crew was great"
Cons: "All seats were booked, no covid-19 social distancing"

Pros: "comfortable plane."

Pros: "It was average."

Cons: "Seats are too close"
Cons: "Old aircraft ...what’s with the non-assignment of seats until the last minute unless you pay extra !"
Pros: "Entertainment available excellent"
Cons: "Seating space seems to narrow"
Pros: "liked the crew, but didn't know that we would have to check our bags, since the plane was small & had no overhead. Also, I wish I would have been told ahead of time, that I would have to check my bag again going home, even though the plane did have overhead space. Other than that, I love AA!"
Cons: "I didn't get very good instructions about picking up my carry on bag plane side. I was told to go to the baggage claim instead by a staff member when I came out of the plane, but this was wrong, so I ended up waiting a very long time for them to bring me my carry on bag to the baggage claim."
Pros: "didn't get my flight you said booking was guaranteed refund 24 hours but when i call to change or refund you said the airline would not change or refund. you didn't live up to your end. if you refund i would consider tat but for now. i would never use kayak again and will post my experience"
Cons: "you could have change my return when i called 2 hours after or 18 hours after now i have to pay 500 to get home you should live up to your rules and refund my money"
Pros: "Like clockwork. New plane."
Pros: "Service for wheelchair was excellent with staff at checking counters"
Pros: "We were early but couldn't get to the gate!"

Cons: "Flight got delayed which caused me to miss the last flight for my connecting flight."
Pros: "Price, entertainment, direct flight"
Cons: "Plane left because pilot was late, little to no legroom for a 6"2 person. Boarding procedure is a joke. Instead of their group system the plane should be boarded from the back. By the time group 8 comes on board there is no room in the overhead bins."
Pros: "Prompt on time service."
Cons: "2 published delays and then another 30 minues waiting to push away from gate. Almost 2 hours late"
Pros: "Seats which we selected where great"
Cons: "I would have like the opportunity of moving up to preferred seating. Would be willing to purchase it"
Cons: "They changed my flight schedule that made me have to arrange my travel plan"
Cons: "Someone stole an ipad and that forced us the be delayed for 2 hours"
Pros: "My flight was delayed many hours so I wasn’t going to make my connecting flight in NY it to Toronto, There service agent was great and found me a seat on a later flight that was direct. Overall, happy with their service found me the best flight available."
Cons: "I never could figure out why the flight was delayed, there were a couple of other delayed AA flights too. I was supposed to get to Toronto at 2pm for a 5pm presentation, but I didn’t get in until 9. I also felt their website was deceptive or maybe needs updating,When I bought my ticket It stated that I would get 3 bags complimentary since it was Canada that wasn’t the case, I was charged for $60 for both."
Pros: "British Airways got us on another flight to Dublin through Heathrow."
Cons: "Plane was late missed the connecting flight. Aer Lingus/American Airlines refused to help us find another flight to Dublin. I called Vagama customer service and the attended refused to help get an additional flight or confirm our returning flight would be held."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Small seats"
Cons: "No personal TV’s and no food for purchase"
Pros: "Lucked out with extra legroom seat. Seat was broken though."
Cons: "The whole customs process is a seemingly endless mess."
Cons: "The cleaniless of the flight can get better"
Pros: "Flying AA. Excellent flight"
Cons: "No wifi. Pay only"
Cons: "My daughter is in a wheelchair. She was a carry on (I e I carry her on board). The staff knew this but failed to notify the airport. Hence, we had to deplane without a jetway. I didn’t. The steep stairs made it unsafe. Had to wait a long time for a handcranked lift. No one really knew what they were doing and they wanted to put her in an adult wheelchair in spite of my identifying safety issues. My daughter was scared and upset. Epic failure on AA’s part. Communication breakdown on many levels. Shameful."
Pros: "On time and what was advertised. Considering that the flight was after Thanksgiving and very full, we still had a good experience."
Pros: "Great Wifi! After reading bad reviews it was actually ok. Flew business on the A319 (single aisle plane) and it reminded me of qantas 737. I think for a short haul day flight I may just put up with economy instead for the price. Food is ok. I think with AA you have to pick your aircraft, it makes a difference what plane you fly as to what you get in business class. FA's were great. Overall I'd fly them again. Food was ok."
Cons: "They asked everyone to put the window shades down but I fly window seat because I like looking out! It was a day flight too! LAX T4 lounge is being refurbished so you need to go to T5 and make sure it's not the regional lounge!"
Cons: "Too many delays"
Cons: "The service had much to be desired. The stewardess who was serving our section was curt and rude. Whenever I would ask for a napkin (that she had forgotten to give with my drink, I might add) or any other questions, she would come off as annoyed and as if I was testing her patience, which I did not appreciate as I had been having a horrible experience with American Airlines as it was. Also, why do you not serve milk with your coffee? The flight only served half and half, and I cannot have cream in my coffee at all. So unless you want to clean up my diarrhea in your toilets, I suggest you start giving options. It's not like milk is a scarce delicacy in the US. How is it that other airlines offer both milk and cream, but I get told by your staff, rudely, that half and half "is milk" and that it's all you have? Unbelievable. I hate to be a b*** but honestly this isn't the first time that I got treated like this on AA. I always seem to have a horrible experience with this airline."
Pros: "not much"
Cons: "not much"
Pros: "Customer service in general"
Cons: "Boading could be smoother. Some customers had a hard time to put a luggage into the upper compartment and blocked a passage."
Cons: "Not a fan of baggage fees especially this high for only one checked. Next time Southwest Air, I guess."
Cons: "Old plane and the movie app kept cutting out"
Pros: "They crew tried their hardest"
Cons: "There was no one at the gate to deplane us in Toronto. There for I missed my westjet connection home by 5 minutes. I was looking at the plane by the jet way unable to get on. AA staff would not pay for a hotel for being so late to Toronto because the wether was not thier fault, which I agree. But the lack of staffing was and a hotel should have been provided to me due to this. I will never fly America Airlines again due to my incoming flight to Toronto and the out bound to Philadelphia (cancelled on the way to Philly for no apparent reason)."
Pros: "Renovated planes, modern entertainment options that were free, charging by outlets."
Cons: "Overbooked flight, poor resource management, nickel & diming for snacks on a 5hr flight, lounge access (not Priority Pass, charge $60 for a single visit), no room for onboard luggage, safety video fluff"
Pros: "Everything was very pleasant for myself and my four year old grandson. Have never had any problems flying with American Airlines. Thank you"
Pros: "Tvs on last flight"
Cons: "Overnight delay in Dallas."
Pros: "The crew was attentive and boarding went smoothly. The seat had more room under the seat in front of me, my purse was not jammed in."
Cons: "I hate paying extra for almost every seat on the plane. It's a con job. Food selection was terrible. If I'm paying anyway, give me better choices. No monitors in plane at all. Entertainment needs to be viewed on a tablet or laptop of some sort."
Cons: "Internet is kinda hard to get connected to sometimes."
Pros: "I received help from the staff at the airport when I wasn't sure what to do."
Cons: "My flight was changed a few times so I was sitting in the airport for seven hours before I was even informed on which flight I would actually be on. Horrible experience."
Pros: "My business class seat was comfortable"
Cons: "4hr boarding delay and no entertainment system whatsoever on a 6hr flight."
Cons: "Flight delayed. Seats are not very comfortable."
Pros: "We have no other complaints. It was all good."
Cons: "There was no air conditioner on the airplane . made it very uncomfortable ."
Pros: "The agent at the gate quickly realized the problem and was able to put me an exit row, which was a nice consolation, but if the flight had been full, I don’t know what would have happened."
Cons: "I was bumped from my first class seat with very little explanation why, and wasn’t even informed until the boarding process was underway. My name was never called at the gate before boarding as a “Mr Smith, please come to the gate”, and it was very embarrassing to be pulled out of line like that."
Pros: "It’s ok. The airplane is not comfortable. It’s old and small"
Pros: "Flight attendant hooked it up with a whole open isle of seating and free drinks!"
Pros: "Cabin crew was friendly."
Cons: "United 737-800 seats are cramped. The flight was severely delayed due to weather, and United did not do well in communicating that well. We had to wait 38 minutes after arriving in Toronto for baggage to start arriving in the baggage hall. United did not provide customs cards prior to arrival."
Pros: "Landing safely"
Cons: "Late departure. Poor food sale selection"
Pros: "The flight captain made up the total time that the flight was delayed, good take off & good landing, got us to Toronto on time. Thanks."
Cons: "Male flight crew could be better - first do your job of giving out the immigration forms then chat, not complete handing them out just one minute before landing so passengers can de-plane & then fill out the forms"
Cons: "The flight leaving Houston was delayed by over an hour due to some problems finding another captain for the flight thus extending the layover time by at least four hours. As a result I didn't get back to Toronto until around 12:30 in the morning. Otherwise everything else was fine."
Pros: "The crew was great, the seat was very comfortable. The flight was quick and seamless."
Pros: "The crew in the plane was very nice. The pilot gave us many updates. There was available entertainment on flight."
Cons: "The plane was again delayed. 4 flights with United, ALL 4 flights delayed. Plane is not quite comfortable. Boarding was messy. Could use lane for group 1 once they are boarded for all the other groups or have 2 ppl boarding for faster smoother turn around."
Pros: "We arrived safely"
Cons: "The plane was only 3 seats across, one seat, aisle, two seats. Very tiny!"
Cons: "It was repeatedly delayed."
Cons: "Almost six hours late in Toronto Missed all connections No hotel No transportation No shave kit Exhausted"
Cons: "Taggged carry-on bag, claimed A/C had no space, when I boarded saw lots of bin space not used. I am on a transfer to Intl. fight, so in sFO had to claim baggage and go through all of security again"

Cons: "Late departures both ways."
Pros: "Comfy seats! So nice when you have a comfortable chair"
Pros: "Despite delays the captain was communicative and gracious."

Cons: "Late by almost an hour"
Cons: "No seatback screens."
Pros: "Upgraded to forst xlass minute and super glad I did. My flight company was the perfect stranger to talk like with and the flight attendant was quite lovely and accomodating."

Pros: "Staff was friendly. And,Handicap assistance was good."
Cons: "Check in was very complicated & inconvienent! They wouldn't accept my gift bank card. Then we had to pay for a card because they didnt accept cash either,& nowhere,to get, cash. My husband had to leave &get money out, which took a,half hour-no easy way to check in."

According to the information I received from the attendants at the gate, maintenance knew the airplane had issues but no communication until the flight began to get delayed was given. I had an adequate layover (3+ hours) so I didn't worry until it eroded away to the point where I could not make my connection."
