Cons: "The flights were fine, but I will never fly Alaska to Minneapolis and transfer to Iceland Air again. Transferring from the Main Terminal to the HumphRey Terminal was a huge, grossly unpleasant inconvenience. Fly direct, use a carrier that connects at the Humphrey terminal, but by all means do not connect with Iceland Air using Alaska in Minneapolis."

Cons: "The flight was booked through Alaska Airlines, but facilitated through Sky West. At SFO, Alaska runs out of terminal 2, but Sky West out of the international terminal. I went through security at terminal 2, only to find out that I needed to leave security, get on the tram and return to the international terminal."

My son, who I booked the ticket for, ran all the way to the connecting flight's gate. They'd already closed the doors, and wouldn't let him on. Consequently he had to be re-booked onto the next flight, which didn't leave until 2200."

It should have been DFW to JFK to Glasgow. Delta cancelled his flight. Citing "weather issues." My family researched this, and couldn't find any weather issues in the North East or NY area."

We were re-booked on connecting flights different then the one we originally booked and weren't even notified. They have a Delta app, but it doesn't even work right. Unless you physically go to the gate to check to see if the flight is on time, that is the only was to find out if you are re-booked onto a different flight or not. I have never flown an airline that re-books you on a different flight when they feel like it. I wouldn't recommend Delta Airlines to my worse enemy!"

I booked this flight months ago and had everything set so it would be smooth, but it turned into an all day ordeal that Delta offered nothing more then a, sorry for your inconvenience."

I don't know if Captain and the flight attendants were soft-spoken, or if the volume was not turned high enough, but I could hear less than have of what was said over the audio system."

Would have been more bearable, but AA's seats are sooooooo close together, that there is nowhere near enough room to stretch legs when weather causes delays. AA's seats are the most uncomfortable (in regard to space and lumbar support) of the three major airlines."

Well, I do have a problem with that and didn't stand for it."

I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."

Cons: "I wish I knew I couldn't bring my carry on with me!!! United is always finding ways to screw the passenger's experience. I have a wedding to go to and needed my small duffle carry on with me and because I got a "basic economy" ticket, this was not possible. Some forewarning of this insanity would have been helpful! Really so annoyed!"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "That i sat at the airport for seven hours cause my flight was delayed. Then i was in traffic for an hour and half which made me have to call in on my night shift job. Not happy what so ever"

Pros: "Nothing!!!"
Cons: "There was a very large couple sitting in seat to my right. I'm 6'3 250 so not small. It had a rear bathroom and I had people banging on me the whole flight!!!!!! She could have moved some people around!!!! The worst flight of my life!!!! It's about customer service."

Cons: "The flight had no flight crew, so I had to fly out the following day, missing important client meetings and losing money. I paid extra to fly out on Sunday so I would be able to make my obligations, but didn't arrive until Tuesday night. No refund or voucher was offered, although I asked. It would be nice if they at least paid the difference between the flight I paid for and the cheaper flight I received."

Pros: "It was my grandson's first plane ride. They let us board early because I was managing two carry on suitcases. The flight was smooth and he loved the apple juice. He learned so much by looking out the window and seeing the ground and the clouds."

Pros: "A good selection of recent movies to watch"
Cons: "Flight was delayed because we didn't have a pilot? They did get a pilot quickly though and the flight was shorter than originally stated so we got there about the same time we were originally expecting."

Cons: "Delay once boarding was finished with a long taxi period. Plane was over-fueled and had to be defueld while we were already seated."

Cons: "No Wi-Fi, this was the only issue I could find and it was minor on a short flight"

Cons: "Rear seats didn't recline and we're not as comfortable as other passengers"

Pros: "The flight staff were really nice"

Pros: "My first flight was cancelled and it appeared i wouldn't make it to my destination on the day which I intended. A Delta/united employee at the Eugene Airport (Collette) quickly and kindly moved some things around and got me a flight out only an hour later, upgraded me to comfort select seating, and some how managed to get me to my final destination (2 flights ) only an hour after I originally booked for. She did all this with a smile on her face while a worried guest (me) wasn't sure what he was going to do if it weren't for her impeccable service. Thanks Collete and United!"

Cons: "No free entertainment options."

Pros: "Nothing. The flight didn't exist."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled for aircraft maintenance with very little notice (waiting at the gate) and the next available flight didn't leave until the next day. Got put up in a $75 airport hotel room WITHOUT my luggage and was provided a $10 food voucher for meals. Are you kidding me??? So, I must pay for your problem? This was ridiculous and extremely inconvenient."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Had to change plans because the septic line wasn't taken care of so the lines were frozen. The plane wasn't warmed up for us to board. We were told to exit the plane and go to another terminal but never explaned to take the shuttle . I took the Tran and had to go back through security and almost missed the plane. I was the last person to board. This was my 1st time traveling to that airport. No way to know that the Tran would require me to pass through security checkpoint again. Get better communication with people. The lady at the desk was just saying go to terminal A! They should have had a person directing all of us to go to the shuttle and bussed us to the terminal."

Pros: "Seats were uncomfortable. ...no entertainment"

Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "3 seperate broken or missing parts on planes? How could I be comfortable with United moving forward? I've never had that problem on any other airlines."

Cons: "We landed in Msp and waited 1 hour for our hate it was horrible!!"

Pros: "We flew to Minneapolis via Atlanta due to snowstorm that severly impacted Newark."

Pros: "Flying with a guitar has never been so easy. Thanks United for being musician-friendly!"

Cons: "the trip from san fran to Minneapolis was good but sitting on the tarmac landing in Minneapolis being told that we could not park at the gate to unload due to snow was inaccurate and frustrating"

Cons: "A few hours before flight time I was informed by email - not text - that "my flight" was canceled, which turned out to mean the flight went but I was bumped. I had to reschedule my entire trip for two days later (a trip to see a hospitalized relative). The affair would have upset me less if Kayak/United had simply informed me that they had overbooked the flight and they did not have room for me."

Pros: "The flight attendants were great and helpful. The plane was spotless and looked brand new."

Pros: "When finally able to talk to someone in customer service in san Francisco, jonanne joy and new trainee fworked hard to find a flight in the morning to connect to out international flight."

Cons: "Flight was almost 2 hr late due to misplaced equipment and paperwork."

Cons: "Everything seemed to go smoothly until we landed & there was no gate for us to deplane. At first we sat for 45 mins is what the pilot said, then he chimed on again & he said 1 hour, then after an hour it was 45 mins. Then 10 more mins which turned to 30. I had missed my ride & I had to find child care for my 5 kids that were waiting for me to pick them up. Landed in time but couldn't get off."

Pros: "My overall experience was excellent except for your new food policy. Meals should included! I am handicapped and asked for help boarding and getting to flights! I was helped by your caring and very curtitious staff! Thank you for your help."

Pros: "Flight delayed 3 hrs. Then rebooked on American for 2nd leg. I had to leave one secured area at SFO, then wait in line at Americans ticket counter then through security again. Luckily the American flight was delayed, or I might have missed that flight."

Cons: "United customer service was so poor and rude to my daughter. Come on united you guys couldn't give my daughter more then a $14 food voucher for a 12 our delay that was your own fault !!! Fly Hawaiian if your going to fly to Hawaii. So much better and worth it if it costs more :)"

Pros: "The plane had very nice seats and I wasn't squished as usual on other airlines planes."
Cons: "When it came time to board my flight the person told me to go ahead and I was in wheelchair and had to push wheelchair with my bags to the plane myself. Very rushed and not good for me at all. I felt I had no choice in the matter and she was not a nice person to me. She rushed me and scowled and told me to just go.... This survey asks about food and entertainment which there was none off yet I have to answer."

Pros: "The flight there was better than the flight back. Everyone was friendlier and more attentive, but overall I wouldn't say there is anything that I didn't like."

Cons: "They cancelled my flight the morning of, I was rerouted through a later flight to AA when the United employee couldn't speak enough English to communicate, I misheard 2:30 when she actually said 2:13. Showed up an hour early as I always do at Eugene airport, only to have the gate shut in my face...we'd missed the flight. I then proceeded to get in my car and drive three hours to catch a connecting flight to Phoenix through traffic etc etc....only to arrive in Phoenix 6 hours later than expected. All of my evening business meetings, lost. Thanks United, you always seem to find a new way to screw it up."

Pros: "Liked being bumped into 1st class."
Cons: "The 2.5 hour delay in Eugene that resulted in an additional 4.5 hour delay in San Francisco. Cost me a lot of time and money. Scheduled arrival 7:14 pm actual midnight. No fun spending a good part of your day in an airport."
