Pros: "The crew was professional in every way,"
Cons: "There were a couple of individuals with oversized carry-ons that held up boarding as they tried repeatedly to get the carry-ons into the overhead bins. Utilizing a carry-on sizing tool in the gate area would have identified these two oversized carry-ons PRIOR to boarding and could have kept everyone safer. Instead, passengers behind the offenders were waiting while the bags were opened, items removed, and another attempt made at stuffing them into the overhead bins, all while passengers already seated were subjected to even more compromised social distancing in enclosed spaces."

Cons: "I have never been on a flight where I was bumped in the leg or arm repeatedly. Passengers were constantly up and down the aisle along with the carts hawking their wares. I trussed myself up like a turkey with the seatbelt so I wasn't on the armrest so as not to get hit again. My grandson who is a lot smaller than I, tried to put his head down to sleep on the tray table. He looked so uncomfortable. I know the deal is butts in the seats, but even the seat bottom is horribly uncomfortable. These planes have become cattle buses. I put up with it because there is no choice and I can't afford first class."

Cons: "My flight back my cab driver was late. I got there at 530 first of all the baggage drop lady was rude and looked me up and down before choosing to talk to me. I was told they didn't have bags for my car seat and that I missed my flight. By the time I scheudled a new flight and made it through security to wait for my 9 am instead of 6 am flight the flight I was suppsosed to be on was boarding. Also when I checked my bags after being told I had to call the 1800# instead of use the customer service desk I was told that I had to pay for my pack n play. When it was not charged on the way up."

They allowed passengers to board that were seated at the end of the plane while some 1 was boarding, causing tons of congestion. The boarding process was the slowest I have ever experienced in all the flights I’ve been on. The crew was ok, but slightly snappy/rude like typical New Yorkers. The flight from ft. Lauderdale to New York was much more pleasant."

A previous assistant was not able to provide this explanation."

Poor coordination between Delta & Jet Airways - the meal preference was selected before flight at the Jet Airways website but the same didn't get registered properly, even though the website confirmed to me that it was all set. This resulted in appropriate food not being available to the customer on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam. The customer had to literally starve on the flight. 3. The pursers and stewards on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam weren't pleasant and courteous at all. For anything they were asked, their responses ."

There was no entertainment!!!! Also, no plug to charge my phone that I had to wait to charge my phone after getting my bags to contact a taxi driver (Lyft)."

Al three of them just did something. Rude and chewing gum crew, the dropped a salad bowl but not one of them was thinking about cleaning it up. The entire flight everybody walked over it in to the carpet. Friendlynes and service are two words that does not apply to this crew. From the first flight till the last flight AA made a mess out of it. Canceled our flight in JFK, no help or service, you are on your own when AA cancels a flight, after rebooking our flight we had a 7 hour stopover at Dallas, again no service, no voucher, no nothing. Then today with our return flight AA could not find our ticket numbers, turns out that when they rebooked our inbound flight they forgot to take over the return flight...cost us 2 hours and 10 minutes to check in at LGA Never, ever again with AA, even easyJet provides better service then AA does on intercontinental flight!"

At around 12:30pm AFTER I WENT TO SLEEP, someone come to my hotel room to drop off my luggage. I had an important meeting for early the following morning and if my bag did not arrive, I had no business clothes for the meeting. I could have bought some new cloths but since I was TOLD my cloths would be arriving by 1-2:00pm and be delivered by early evening, I thought that not necessary. I believe I was told that so BA"

Pros: "Nothing. I will never fly United again. The only reason I booked this flight was because i thought it would have the kind of good service I’ve experienced before on Lufthansa."
Cons: "There was a 1 hour layover prior to the DC flight. Frankfurt’s security line was so slow that it caused us to almost miss our connection to DC running thru the airport. To add insult to injury, the United gate attendants were so incredibly rude and inconsiderate when we explained why were delayed."

Cons: "It could have been better if my luggage didn’t go missing"

Pros: "The crew was awesome. Boarding went very well."
Cons: "Seats are too dang small. I didn’t pay to sit with my elbows in front of me instead to my sides. The human body is NOT designed to sit like that."

Cons: "There is a toilet for the main cabin right behind row 5. The door was constantly banging due to a long flight from Orlando to SFO 5hrs 23 mins. Very old uncomfortable first class seats with very little reclining due to the toilet being so close. Not good!!! No real entertainment unless you brought it with you. If this is the standard of United first class now think I will give it a miss in the future."

Pros: "Boarding was easy (Zone 3) and there were no issues with overhead bin storage."
Cons: "Could not use the seatback entertainment because the audio jack was jammed so that the earphones could not receive an audio signal."

Pros: "The flight crew was courteous and efficient."
Cons: "The boarding time lasted an hour as the front desk staff at the gate insisted that I needed a visa travel document for my connection in China (multiple leg journey). What they failed to realize is that nobody needs a visa for China if they’re connecting in transit. It took a phone call and 3 staff members to sort things out. Not something that I want to deal with at 5:00 am. Moreover, due to the de icing, the flight was late and i just made it to my connecting flight in Newark. It was quite a hair-raising experience overall."

Cons: "Entertainment is boring and tired, United use to offer better free shows and movies!"

Pros: "When I booked this flight four months ago, nothing indicated that these seats would not recline (since they are in front of an exit). That's not something I knew and that fact made it a bit brutal on an overnight flight, especially when the people in front of us could recline their seats. It should be easy and reasonable to add such info in the booking process."
Cons: "There is just something very bare-bones about flying now: modest food or drink, little effort to entertain except on your own equipment. It's functional--does the job."

Cons: "My seat was broken and wouldn't stay in upright position. This really pissed off the passenger behind me. Crew kept telling me to put my seat upright, I kept having to tell them the seat was broken. Old airplane with no in-seat entertainment. they advertise on the seat that you can watch all their entertainment content for free, but then you have to pay for wifi to watch so it's not free then, is it? Every movie or show requires "additional software" so you have to purchase internet to do the download. This is an 11 hour flight, I would have appreciated being able to watch a movie or something without forking out $30. Flight was delayed, so we were low on time to make our connection. I asked a flight attendant twice if we could get help deplaning early or at least get moved up some rows since we were in the very back of a 747 (there were plenty of vacant seats). They said no, and told us that customs would only take a minute and that the other united flight knew we'd be coming and would wait. I don't usually fly united; other airlines typically will actively take steps to help (like moving connecting passengers to the front shortly before landing) if they are the cause of the delay. Customs had only one agent working and we were pretty much last in line so that process took over an hour. Just moving us 10 rows forward before landing would have made all the difference because our connecting flight closed its doors and taxied for takeoff less than 5 minutes before we arrived. They had some united employees guiding and directing a couple of passengers that were going to be late for a connection to LAX, but no help for those of us connecting to portland. Customer service didn't even offer a verbal apology. Last time I flew with united, I also had a terrible experience for different reasons. I did not intend to fly united for this flight, but I purchased tickets through and for Lufthansa, and this flight was regrettably operated by united. Another thing I don't like - the food was horrendous. It was a breakfast sandwich that was advertised as "hot and fresh" on the packaging but was served straight from the refrigerator. I was in the middle seats with one person to my left and two people to my right. Everyone took only one bite and threw away the rest. Just don't bother serving the food if it's going to be that bad, it's very wasteful. I always appreciate a hot towelette after a long overnight flight. United offered no such thing which was a first for me. Regarding boarding: they called us all up to line up in boarding groups and then we had to stand in line for 65 minutes. I have a bad back and had to sit on the carpet to avoid being last in line and not having space for my carry on bag. Would have been nicer if they would have just let us sit in the chairs at the gate in comfort until they were ready to board."

Cons: "Not necessarily their fault, but there was a lot of turbulence and at one point I hit my head pretty hard. Puddle jumpers are never for tall people. I do wish they made them just a bit more comfortable to walk through."

Cons: "Didn't clearly explain my flight so I missed my flight !"

Cons: "1hr late to board because of a missing flight attendant. They could not get replacement for an hour."

Cons: "In general, all the crew and counter people are not able to say "good morning" or smile, besides a delayed flight made a really bad experience"

Cons: "The TV control was on the left side covered by the middle person arm during the complete flight"

Cons: "I didn't like the long delay because they didn't know how to manage the weight of the plane. We waited 2 hours on the plane to take off, and ended up missing our next flight"

Cons: "Didn't like being delayed for almost 5 hours before we took off other then that it was your average flight"

Pros: "Crew was attentive and friendly. Jumped at any and all requests. Always looking for ways to assist all flyers. Boarding was quick and easy. Plane was on time, boarded quickly, AC worked perfectly, plenty of blankets and food was spectacular. Crew made the 6 hour flight feel like an hour of comfort."
Cons: "No wifi because we traveled through Canada, and the tv was no working"

Pros: "My connecting flight was way late, but the plane was held for me and a few others in Denver. Because it was the last flight of the evening I don't know what I would have done if left at the airport indefinitely. I am grateful the plane was held. And regret any inconvenience this may have caused others."

Cons: "The plane was absolutely filthy.. crumbs on seats debris on floors. Dirty arm rest and seat backs"

Pros: "I liked the friendly smiles everywhere. I was lucky to score a window seat with no one in the middle."
Cons: "I didn't like that I had to pay $25 to check one bag and the Wi-fi didn't work all flight."

Cons: "Our flight was 2 hours late, the customer service was horrid and didn't even acknowledge people who needed help at the front desk. They we're too busy talking to their coworkers. We then get on the plane and it's old, run down, and the take off and landing were the roughest I've ever encountered. Nobody was remotely professional and we landed after our rental car company closed so we had to go back to the airport the next day. NEVER FLYING UNITED AGAIN!!!"

Pros: "Best I can say is that I'm home safe and sound with my luggage"
Cons: "Long delay, many passengers were rebooked elsewhere. Boarding is awkward and too many segments slow it down. Staff were indifferent. Internet connection was abysmal. Couldn't get any entertainment."

Pros: "We finally got to Chicago.... In one piece!"
Cons: "The delay, the plane changed so the seat assignments changed but we were not given new boarding passes, A MESS!"

Pros: "I liked the sincerely friendly staff; they made it a pleasant experience."
Cons: "I would ha've liked free TV; ,I feel I've paid for it in cost of ticket."

Pros: "United airlines staff were polite and worked hard."
Cons: "I did not like that they printed my ticket for my connecting flight for EVA Air without any EVA Air markings. This meant that when I arrive at LAX I was giving directions to the United Airlines terminal when I really needed to be at the terminal for Eva Airlines. This caused me to almost missed my flight with Eva Airlines. For the remainder of my trip EVA airline staff were quite grumpy with me for being 45 minutes late boarding. I actually am thankful that I believe they held the plane that 45 minutes for me. It just seems too convenient that the plans out there that long after its scheduled takeoff."
