Cons: "There were a couple of individuals with oversized carry-ons that held up boarding as they tried repeatedly to get the carry-ons into the overhead bins. Utilizing a carry-on sizing tool in the gate area would have identified these two oversized carry-ons PRIOR to boarding and could have kept everyone safer. Instead, passengers behind the offenders were waiting while the bags were opened, items removed, and another attempt made at stuffing them into the overhead bins, all while passengers already seated were subjected to even more compromised social distancing in enclosed spaces."

Cons: "My flight back my cab driver was late. I got there at 530 first of all the baggage drop lady was rude and looked me up and down before choosing to talk to me. I was told they didn't have bags for my car seat and that I missed my flight. By the time I scheudled a new flight and made it through security to wait for my 9 am instead of 6 am flight the flight I was suppsosed to be on was boarding. Also when I checked my bags after being told I had to call the 1800# instead of use the customer service desk I was told that I had to pay for my pack n play. When it was not charged on the way up."

Then the flight added a stop over in Seattle for the the only reason that the crew was maximizing their allowed time to work. This delayed arrival at final destination. They could have brought on a fresh crew in Chicago but they did not do that."
Cons: "Flight was delayed initially on the taxiway out of Fairbanks because of snow. We waited for DOT to plow the runway, which I believe is an airport failure. However, while waiting, the pilot mentioned that he hoped we wouldn't have to go back to the terminal to get enough fuel to make it to Seattle. Not something you want to hear. We did have to go back to the terminal for more fuel. Why did we board only to sit in an uncomfortable seat an extra 2 hours. Now we are heading to Seattle. Alaska Airlines knows that they have a plane load of people that are 2 hours late. I asked the flight attendant about the situation. They apologized but offered no help. No airline initiated attempt to repair missed connections was made. In fact, a friend walked up to his connection gate 4 minutes after the push-off time, and they didn't hold the flight for him even though they knew that our flight would be only minutes late. While still on our delayed flight, I tried via the the Alaska Airlines app to make a connection via standby, but the app didn't allow it. I had missed my connection by nearly 2 hours. When I called and tried to get a new connection, the phone agent told me that they could get me on the 8:30 connection. I thought, "Hey, that's great." I asked the flight attendant if they could let the tight connections out first. They apologized but did nothing. When I finally got off the flight and checked the departures board for the gate, I didn't see the new 8:30 flight number. I asked the nearest Alaska gate agent, and they sent me to a gate. The destination at that gate was correct, but the wrong flight number. I asked the agent there, and they told me that my flight was for 8:30 p.m., not a.m. The telephone agent set me up and dumped me for a 12 hour layover while letting me think it was an immediate connection. When I tried to change that at that gate, the agent there got me on standby for connection through Portland, my original route. They wouldn't give me a guarantee out of Portland however until around 8 p.m. I went to the first standby gate and related this story. The agent there, Mihee, got on the system. She took the time to research all routes. She got me a guaranteed spot on a direct flight early that afternoon to my final destination. Probably shouldn't mention names here, but Mihee was fantastic."

Pros: "The crew was so friendly and they really seemed to enjoy their job. There was a screaming child and a flight attend did a great job at helping her calm down with some cool looking wings. Even though I didn't rent them, I liked how entertainment tables were avaible. Again I had plenty of space in my seat so I was comfortable the whole time, non of my limbs feel asleep! Best part is we got to ANC almost a half hour early! Two thumbs up!!"

Cons: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Pros: "I am 6'6" 300 pounds ... So I regularly book first class for trips over 2 hours in length ... Delta remains my #1 choice for both value and overall experience in first class. The difference between Delta and all other domestic carriers is just overwhelming. United and American/US Air could learn a lot from Delta. I could have flown this trip direct on United, but chose to fly through Atlanta on Delta for less money and a better experience from the baggage check to the gate to the in-flight experience."

Lousy service ast attempting to resolve situation. Given a choice, I do not choose Delta as a first choice airline to fly."

Cons: "Boarding is inconsistant. At JFK it was like boarding a plane in China. Everyone congested at the front. One Delta person taking tickets. Two Delta people not helping her. We boarded slowly, partially because people STILL refuse to check bags that are not carry on bags. We left late. Why have zones at all? Why have carrying rules that you don't enforce? Why did we pay $25 a bag if you don't enforce this? Food choices are funny, especially the "tapas". Whoever thinks THOSE are tapas should Google the word tapas. Delta reportedly earned 746 million in the first quarter and you charge for everything and still can't come up with decent food for us to BUY?"
