So I asked nearby crew again, I was told then to go to Alaska Airline customer service. The crew was very helpful to give me a boarding pass there."

Cons: "Holding a plane for 20 minutes for flight attendants to show up. The flight was only 1.5 hours, we didn't really need flight attendants. On top of that, flight attendant Angel was pretty rude, told another flight attendant that she should make people wait when trying to get back to their seat and the drink cart is in the aisle. Ended up paying for in flight wifi to tell them my flight was late. Overal this was an awful flight."

Cons: "We returned to Sacramento, and my bag was "lost". The bag attendant suggested it was hung up on the belt. Our neighbors had to circle the airport while we dealt with her. We went home without my bag. Thirty minutes after we were home, the bag attendant called and said they had my bag. We returned to the airport to pick it up because they could/would not guarantee that it would be delivered safely. The attendant said that it was there on another belt. NOT, because I actually checked before we left. Then, she didn't want to give us the Measly $50 voucher. Ugh, still upset a week later."

Cons: "She missed her flight after several Alaska Airlines employees directed her to wrong lines to check her bags, she does not have a credit card so she just wanted to pay cash but no one seemed to know how to help her for over an hour. Just really put a damper on a Birthday trip to visit me."

She never gave up. And found my passport at the desk that had made me a new boarding pass. I was so upset I couldn't think straight but she did!, many thanks to this kind lady."

A crew member pulled people for c gate from the line saying it would be faster but when we asked if we should also use the other checkpoint we were told to just stay put. We asked a second member who was coming from the other checkpoints direction and her response was curt and uninformative. We literally ran as soon as we could and got the door shut also literally in our faces at the gate. We felt a bit let down, seeing later that our timing in the multi lane checkpoint would have undoubtedly been sufficient. The checkpoint we used was funneled into one scanner and we were informed at the customer service counter when we rebooked that that checkpoint was knowingly understaffed. I like flying Alaska but was quite disappointed to be left waiting another four hours after a seven hour layover."

After sitting there for one hour, they told us the problem wasn’t fixed and we have to change aircrafts. The other aircraft was all the way in terminal D (we were in terminal A) and the boarding process took a long time. Overall it was an awful flight and experience with American Airlines. I missed my mother’s birthday party because of the 2 hour delay."

After the passengers got off the plane, the man at the counter came on the P.A and said it’ll be a few minutes, they’re catering the plane now from the back to the front. The flight crew still needed to get on a preform safety checks. He apologized again. Then it was 8:40, time to take off and we’re still waiting to even board. The man at the counter said again, thank you for your patience and relayed the same message, only this time the flight attendants were walking away from the gate. Around 9 some lady higher up told the man to announce that the flight crew had timed out and stand by crew was on the way to the gate, said sorry again. A little later the man says sorry, there’s a gate change. You’re going to K6 now. When we get to the new gate it’s almost 9:30pm and while we were all gathered at the gate, the flight crew that supposedly “timed out” showed up and proceeded to get on the plane. Passengers started getting mad and saying we were lied to and to just tell us the truth. Chicago PD started showing up. We finally got on the plane but it would be another 30 minutes before we moved because of issues getting our bags off the original plane. We ended up being almost 2 hours delayed."

Once landed, gate was occupied by yet another flight running late so we waited for 15 minutes to get to the gate."

Cons: "Flight into DFW was delayed over an hour and ended up missing connection from DFW to SMF by less than 10 minutes because connecting flight left the gate early! We had 5 people in our group, including 3 children under the age of 10. Instead of taking off on time or just a couple minutes late (and oh by the way, the flight to SMF was scheduled to land early because of favorable winds) the flight left the gate early while we were sprinting from gate C31 to A17, missing the door closing by minutes and stranding our party for a three hour wait for an aircraft that went to SFO instead (75 miles away from Sacramento). As the coup de gras, our luggage didn't make it on the plane to SFO so now it's sitting in Sacramento awaiting delivery. I know there were a lot of upset people with the weather delays yesterday, but a bit of foresight or accommodation by American or a particularly savvy gate agent could have prevented the 5 of us from being among them."

Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

So: 1) Why didn't the pilot check and fix this discrepancy at the gate? 2) Why did it take more than hour for them to decide what to do? 3) Why did the pilot and cabin crew take over an hour to inform us what was going on? There were many angry people on this flight, including me."

Her favorite word was "no" and she talked down to everyone, including her fellow flight attendants. I really wish I had gotten her name but when I asked her, her response was, "why?" I was so fed yo with her I just said forget it and avoided her. I understand people have bad days but I have a feeling this was more of a personality issue. She acted better than everyone else. It really only takes one person to ruin the whole flight"

Cons: "my girlfriend and I were removed from the plane. she had received troubling news from her family that kept stacking on, not to mention we were tired from traveling all day thanks to delays making us miss our flights. and when we gestured for an attendant to come by, light dark skin, facial hair, glasses. he had customer service come by and we reiterated the question if we decided we would like to get off the plane would it be possible to receive a voucher for the flight. but we told him that we were just trying to consider options and we were good to go, and the customer service told us that the attendant did not feel comfortable with us on the plane, and that my girlfriend reached out and touched him and he did not feel safe. we never even raised our hands our eye brows. they caused us all kinds of hell, we couldn't get another flight till 2210, they embarrassed and humiliated my girlfriend because she was crying. unacceptable."

United could care less and not transparent. And then they have the gull to tell us it was weather related. There was no bad weather anywhere in the western US that day! I tracked the plane backwards online and it never left Cali all day. United lies to shift blame away from their decision to screw all those on that flight. Advise: If you have this connection skip it, rent a car in SFO and drive to SMF. You will be to the good many hours."
Cons: "On April 15 we flew from Sacramento to Basel, via Los Angeles and Munich. We did exactly what we were told re reserving seats. We were told to call 23 hrs. in advance to reserve seats. When we tried to follow directions, we were not able to check in. Without checking in, we could not reserve seats. After numerous phone calls, to various numbers, we were not able to check in or reserve seats. By continuing to ask questions, to try and understand, we were told we were "under airport control". This was an "at random" situation and online check in was not available. Only 5 minutes earlier, we were still being instructed to check in online! We had never heard of this. I contacted a neighbor, who flies often internationally and within the U.S. He said it had happened to him once. He agreed that driving to the airport in Sacramento was a wise decision. This is not what we wanted to be doing 1 day before departure. At Sacramento we found a kind gentleman who saw our dilemma and checked us in as a favor. We saw assigned seats. He suggested we request to improve our seats the following travel day. It was a very challenging morning. As I tried to improve our seating the following day I was told, by airport staff, that this happened because we booked through Kayak? Rather with an attitude that we should have booked differently. This was a vacation we had looked forward to for years. I worked hard at not letting this difficult start damage my trip. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, I tried to learn more, to prevent a similar situation on the way home."

Multiple employees lied/gave misinformation, adding heavily to the feeling that Frontier cares little about customer service. Terrible experience!!"

Passengers should be limited on alcohol because the drunk in front of me was miserable to listen to for 3 hours on a 2 hour flight."

Cons: "Flight was delayed for over 5 hours. Either a crew or plane issue. We were told was a maintenance issue. I assumed that was airline responsibility to have done before flight. Very early am flight on Sunday. Meal vouchers offered but was asleep. Finally later boarded the plane. Sat on tarmac for long time. Finally captain announced that we would have to deplane because of maintenance issues. Got off plane. Sat in terminal. Went to get meal voucher hadn’t gotten earlier because I was asleep. The apparent supervisor at gate was awfully rude when I asked. She said that the vouchers were all already destroyed and they would not print another. Later rebounded and flight got home for a flight time of 1hour. Missed breakfast at hotel to get to airport on time for early flight only to have all this happen that should have been preventable. It was probably one of the worst flight experiences I have ever had. Difficult to describe on this forum adequately. I will NEVER fly Frontier airlines again and I will encourage all that I know to avoid this airline. I was charged to bring a carryon on board. I did not check a bag but would’ve been charged there too. There is a charge to pick a seat. Charge for any snack or drink on board. Horrible airline with terrible customer service. I will protest with my airline dollar and patronize its competition. I encourage you to do the same."

You can't afford to provide a coffee to your customers? I was in row 36 and there was MASS confusion as to which seats were in which row. The labels are not directly above the seats, so 15 to 20 people had to move around to get it right. The boarding zones make no sense either. I was in zone 1 and was in the isle seat. Shouldn't the zones load all window seats first, then center, then isle? Common sense has gone out the window. Won't be flying frontier again."

Cons: "If you don't upgrade and pay more of every aspect of the flight, you might as well take Grayhound. The standard coach seats might as well be park benches with no leg room. I normally don't worry because I don't take things to shove under the seat in front of me, but the standard coach rows are so narrow a normal male can't bend his legs to extend into the space. I finally had to resort to pretend I was getting into a kayak or sports car for the five hour flight. There is nothing free, even soft drinks are $2.00."

And then kept pushing more and more because they were mechanical problems with a plane in Denver. When I was about to push to the 6.5 hour mark ( which I learned via email) it made my arrival time so late in Atlanta but it did not make sense to make the trip. I spoke with someone on the phone from front tier and then a person at the gate. They told me I would be refunded all fees and also receive future travel vouchers. Imagine my surprise today when I saw that I had been charged a $99 cancellation fee."
