Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers arriving in New York State must complete the Traveler Health Form.

Overall I was very disappointed in the flight from Fayetteville, NC to Atlanta and with the gate agents at the Atlanta airport. I usually expect more from delta. They didn’t offer vouchers to make up for the missed connection or offer to pay for a hotel since the next flight out was the next morning."

The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually."

We were told we were re-booked on a flight, so we ran across the airport, with two small children, to make that flight only to be told that weren't actually re-booked and needed to go standby. We then waited in line at customer service for two hours to be informed that United won't pay for a hotel. The customer service rep. did offer that if we wanted to take our kids across the airport, now at 11:30 at night, we could look for a United Supervisor in Terminal E, and if we were lucky enough to find one, they might override the policy and cover the hotel. Really! I understand that United doesn't have control over customs, but United did book an international flight with just over an hour layover, knowing that any slowdown in customs means missed flights. That's fine. The problem I have is when it happened, United's Customer Service model was to provide misinformation, incredible slow service, and what seemed like a complete lack of interest by United employees to do anything to make the situation better. There were no supervisors at the service counter, only 1 representative for an hour or so, and when the other representatives showed up, they were discussing going on break and going home. All with a very long line of people stuck in the airport waiting to get some help. I could accept this as an isolated instance, but since booking this trip, I have been getting the same level of service over the phone while trying to submit a refund request for my son who did not join us on the trip. United's 24 hour refund policy has taken 6 weeks and many hours online and on the phone and I still have no idea what the status of that request is, and apparently neither does anybody at United. The interaction I have had with your employees have been friendly and courteous, but extremely time consuming, with a lot of incorrect information and no resolution. Very mediocre at best."

Cons: "The United employees at check in kiosk were very unorganized and unhelpful. I was traveling internationally with a small child and had two pieces of luggage to check in. Normally you just go to the counter once and they do everything including taking your luggage once they weigh it. Instead, I had to go to the self check in kiosk, then back to the counter to weigh my luggage, take off the one luggage from the scale, weigh the second one, then go back to the self check in kiosk, then was told to take off the second luggage as well, then finally went to a second counter where the lady handwritten my luggage tags and then was told to take both pieces of luggage and put them somewhere else altogether with specific directions on where to put them. Also, the check in dude yelled at my kid for putting in his name into the check in kiosk while we were waiting on the check in dude to do all those unorganized activities. He claimed it would break the software if my kid were to enter his name. I have told him that no, the software will not break if my child enters in his name."

Pros: "We never took flight as carrier was late from original destination, so we had to switch to American to make connections to SFO our dual destination. Then 1of our checked bags didn't make it to the new flight. Bag is still floating between United & American somewhere."
Cons: "We where delayed for two hours or so, if you asked upon arrving during what should have been boarding you got a curt remark no information. There way no anouncement about a delay just one that the crew arrived, nothing about why we where delayed or estimation of time when we would board. Other delayed fights where getting information over the loud speaker. The attendants left the area came back when we could board and hurded us on the plane. Not a friendly face or smile. Everyone was tired, a little civility would have gone a long way"

So we had an anxious wait wondering if we'd be dumped from the flight - we weren't but it wasn't enjoyable waiting for the flight and our meeting with our grand kids."
