Entertaining options could be expanded but I wouldn’t trade for anything else. Excellent experience all around.

Pros: "By far the worst experience I've ever had in my life. 1. A day after I perches a multi destination tickets I called Swiss air costumer service requesting to upgrade my tickets to business class. no one would even try to help me. They just kept saying I need to contact my travel agent. After 3 phone calls I gave up and decided to wait and upgrade my ticket at the airport. 2. In Prague the night before my second flight I hurt my knee real bad to a point that I couldn't walk at all. The next morning I call Swiss air costumer service again trying to explain them my situation telling them I can't fly and won't be able to make it to my flight. Costumer service cancelled immediately all of my remaining tickets and try to sell me new tickets for a full price. I said I don't mind buy and pay for the one flight I missed but there is no reason for her to re sell me the rest of my tickets that I already paid for, again. Then she start to change prices up and down like in a Chinese flea market. At that point I begged her to talk to a supervisor but she Kept ignoring my request and just try to negotiat for a lower charg she kept me on the phone for 5 hours. My hotel phone bill for that one call cost me 150€. I never got to talk to a supervisor but she took down the charge to 517$ Not included a new ticket flying out of Prague. 3. For my last flight going home. I showed up 2.5 hours Earlier. asking to upgrade my sit to business fin desk send me to talk to asupervisor. The supervisor was trying to process my request but didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. One minute he was on his computer then the next minute on the phone with Swiss air headquarter then back on his computer for more then 35 minutes with no resolute. I still had an hour and half before take off when he told me he can print me the ticket but it's to late now since the gate for my flight is close and I already missed my flight. I said that's impossible cause I still have an hour and half to my flight but he insist on the gate been close and there is no way I can get on that flight. Right away I run back to front desk asking them to print my ticket as fast as possible cause I would really like to get on that flight. In front desk they told me not to worry cause I got plenty of time to get on that flight. So I gave up on the business upgrade and told them that at that point I'll be just as happy to sit by the window. Of course they put me on the very end exactly in the middle. After the door was locked I looked around and saw plenty of free sits available including by the window. 4. In Zurich I finally managed to upgrade my last flight coming back to Tampa fl to business and noticed that the only way they could do that was by contacting Swiss air headquarter for approval. When I asked why is that since I fly a lot and never seen anything like that before one of the lady's there told how Swiss air left all of their front desk powerless and all decisions must be made by headquarters."

Cons: "This (attempted) flight was like living a nightmare. The aircraft had a problem with the A/C, so we sat in the extremely hot aircraft on the tarmac for 2 hours while they tried to fix the problem. Then, when we were finally told that the aircraft could not fly, the Swiss staff said that we were "not allowed" to leave the aircraft. After stressed passengers confronted the crew demanding to be let off the aircraft, we went back into the terminal to wait for hours in line as just two Swiss staff filled out hotel vouchers by hand for over 200 passengers. Adding insult to injury, we were then told to wait for a hotel shuttle at the curb, despite the fact that the shuttle had stopped running hours earlier at midnight. I didn't fly to Switzerland until the next day, losing hundreds of dollars on a missed hotel stay in Zurich, and travel plans. And it was an awful start to my honeymoon. The way the Swiss staff treated us was unconscionable and insulting. They have not responded to my several written complaints, so maybe Kayak can help!!!"

Cons: "While waiting for boarding I overheard a young woman, who was traveling with several companions, screaming to her mother on the phone that she and her friends had all gotten bedbugs and were in agony! She was making plans to leave all of her bags in the driveway when she got home. I discretely let boarding staff know and was told there is nothing they can do about it. They also cannot change my flight, or my seat, in the event that I am seated next to the person with the issue. They did give me a bag in which to place my carry on before storing it overhead. But once on the plane, I realized that my checked bag would be thrown in with everyone else's. In addition, I had forgotten to preorder gluten free food. The airline had nothing gluten free to offer me on a prolonged international flight and did not even offer to produce any gluten free snack (peanuts? cheese?) to tide me over. My luggage is still sitting in my car awaiting a process. However, in the unfortunate event that it has come into contact with bedbugs it may be too late :("
Pros: "The seats were actually more comfortable on this short leg than on the much longer flight back to Boston. And the Swiss chocolate was good."
Cons: "Having to pay for a second checked bag. And the refreshment (I think it was supposed to be ice cream) was awful. Also, I think it was the young pilots virgin flight. The jerky take off and bouncy initial flight was capped off with an approach to the runway for landing that was very scary, much too fast and wobbly. Thankfully the plane was pulled back up into the air, just before touch down, circled for ten minutes, and retried the landing. This time perfectly smooth and successful."

Anyone that purchased a Delta 1st Class seat should have access to the Delta Sky Club. My wife and I purchased 1st Class tickets for a Delta flight from SeaTac to Washington Dulles but were denied entrance to the SeaTac Delta Sky Club because we did have an American Express card.

Pros: "This was our first time flying Delta and it was a very pleasurable experience. Boarding was very straight forward and the seats allocated comfortable. A surprise for us was being asked if we would like to move seats from the back of the aircraft to Comfort Economy (we think it was to do with weight balance! but appreciated very much none the less). The flight attendants were very professional and helpful, as you would hope all attendants on all airlines would be. We'd gladly fly Delta again anytime."

Cons: "Lufthansa flight from Florence to Frankfurt was 45 mins late, so a large group of passengers had 30 mins to transfer from plane to bus to terminal to security to gate on other side of airport. They offered no assistance other than to say run, which we did the whole way. When we reached the gate less than 5 minutes after scheduled takeoff they said flight was closed and next flight was 18 hours later. Not one passenger successfully made the transfer. It took over 2 hours to get hotel and food vouchers, and we were forced to stay in airport Holiday Inn with now sweaty clothes and no luggage. Everyone was furious, and the entire incident could have been easily avoided in many ways, including by delaying the flight 5 mins or by providing passenger transportation at any point in the 30 minute transfer from the Lufthansa A arrival gate and the Lufthansa Z departure gate."

The 50 minute ATC delay couldn't be controlled by LH, but the original equipment replacement was at the bottom of the overall delay. My "A" window seat in economy had significantly reduce foot space due to a metal box installed in the space. The seat was not particularly well designed, but it's economy so you get what you get. The food was average at best."

Side note: my flight from cape town to Frankfurt was earful... the guy seated next to me had excessive flatulence and their were dueling baby crying for 7/12hrs. IMO infants Should not be allowed on flights over 3hrs in length.... they can ruin a flight for a whole plane"
Cons: "Travel in flight was good. Flight was missed due to delay in the airport and they made it clear that this was a bulk rate ticket and any rebooking was almost a favor on their part. That being said with some chatting to the service agent she softened up and started to be more helpful. Wish she could have been more helpful from the start and ended up being rerouted through another city despite a codeshare flight leaving directly to my final destination which would have been the normal switch. Oh well, those are the breaks with a bulk price ticket. Once in flight, service was very good and plenty of open seats, so room to stretch out."

Cons: "between lunch and supper snack one isle had only one water serving and my isle had none. So for 6 hours we had no water serving. This is why I gave crew rating OK only. Also the supper pizza snack was horrible. By comparison, United gives full drink cans so they last longer. I suggest Lufthansa also should serve full drink cans in long flights."

Cons: "I am only 158cm tall (5 feet 2 inches) and I had no leg room! My knees hit the seat in front of me. The seats were also so narrow that you could not change position at all, so it was very uncomfortable for a 8.5 hour flight. And I weigh less than 45 kg (100lbs). I can't imagine how anyone bigger than me felt. My seat was toward the back of the plane, and it took the crew over an hour to reach us once they started the drink and food carts. One time my row got entirely skipped for the drink cart, even though we were awake. This was a problem because they didn't come by for another 5.5 hours with more water/drinks, and they did not give us water bottles for that time period like Delta does. The movie options were great, but that was all I could do on the screen because half of mine did not respond to touch, which meant no games and I could only select movies on the left half of my screen. Cons: "The seating on this aircraft is inadequate for a long flights. Tall people really suffer due to seat size and spacing. There was a 6"6" man of median weight for his height who was in the middle seat next to me and he could barely fit into his seat. It was not his fault, rather the unrealistic expectation that airline seats actually fit today's customer. Not only is there not enough leg room, but the width of the seat leaves no room for arms or shoulders. No one should have to ride 7-plus hours touching the shoulders of the passenger next to them! I used to prefer to fly on Lufthansa because their seating was more comfortable than other carriers, but I will try another airline next time."
Cons: "I selected my seats online before the flight. It seems my seat assignments were changed (many other customers complained of the same issue). I have siliver status on United and was told that there was no way to be considered for upgrade to different seat. I was told that the list was already full of higher priority customers. Yet at the same time the same employee announced those seats were available for purchase at $200 Euro for others. It seemed in both cases Lufthansa shuffled around passengers out of their selected seats for unknow reasons and also werent honoring frequent flier status programs for changing seats. Furthermore, the in seat entertainment did not work and it took quite a bit of effort including trying to move seats to get the flight attendants to reset the system (they said it would affect other customers who didnt have problems with their entertainment system). 8+hour flight is long flight to not have the system working. eventually the fixed it a couple of hours into the flight."

More than ten people were left behind - doors practically closed in our faces - and Lufthansa was wholly unhelpful in rescheduling flights. Lines to speak with agents were absurd and then attendants had to take breaks instead of resolve issues. There were no solutions offered, only poor communication and an unwillingness to accommodate a significant number of customers who were inconvenienced. Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The whole experience was extremely negative."

Cons: "The quality of food was pitiful, not to say gross, in the economy class. I'm comparing Lufthansa to other European airlines and to what Lufthansa used to be. Alcohol was of the most basic quality. Yes, I know, it was economy class, but it's gone down. Entertainment was hardly better. No new movies and the variety of what was available was poor. Lastly, the choice of seats in the tail (of 747-8) was poor judgment on my part. We were being wagged like fleas on the dog's tail. The only good part was that due to the narrowing of the plane we had two seats and no neighbor to jump over, plus extra room between the window seat and the window. The end of highlights. Can't help but compare every airline to Turkish airlines, where even in the economy class they make you feel like royalty. These people know how to do hospitality and make you want to come to their country."

Despite taking off nearly an hour and half late, we were only about 45 minutes late in arriving. What was so great about this flight was that it was NOT full. I had an entire row to myself so I could stretch out and sleep. If I was in a regular coach seat, I would not have been comfortable for the entire trip. The crew was pleasant and helpful."

Even more frustrating were the parents who requested a bassinet seat, were confirmed for that seat at check-in prior to arriving in Munich, and then being told that there were no more bassinet seats. Also, only one row was opened to scan your ticket and board - which made the process very slow and frustrating."

It was great

Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process.
