Pros: Paid in advance 45.00 a seat to reserve! Otherwise they assign at Check-in! Still ended up with a standard not premium seats in center. I chose 2 side seats online but plane must have changed. Literally could not move. My travel partner ended up spilling wine on himself primarily due to this and 1/2 size drop down trays. Call button brought no help , had to get up and go retrieve steward in back myself!

Pros: Service-first class! The hosts did their best to keep me comfortable after my operation. My TV system did not work at all and there was no sound. This was not addressed. The directions were not clear on the control machine. It did not say to keep pressing start after each activity The flight was ice cold during the entire journey. I was told that if the pilot put on a little heat the others would complain.
Cons: Food was the worst I've had on a European flight. I ordered special food that had n0 preservatives because of my stomach ailment. I got Molly's special pre packed horrible food all through the flight filled with preservatives and prepackaged. I therefore didn't eat anything. They kept giving me kosher food on top of it . That was worse. I did not order kosher food! So on my entire flight, I ate nothing. The hostess finally found a left over but it was horrible as well. A tiny salad with plain head lettuce, not like the Lufthasa food. This continued into breakfast. Molly food was unhealthy and inedible. I ate one piece of packaged cheese for the entire journey.

Pros: the food was good and i like not having to deal with private screening from tablets.
Cons: The space between rows are uncomfortably narrow (and I am a short person). It also does not help when the attendants would not want to disturb a sleeping but have no problem allowing us to eat off a tray with our forehead touching the back of the seat in front. This happened to me on the entire journey on Swiss from Miami to Zurich to Cape Town. It is almost a health hazard not being able to move and forget about trying to even use a laptop because when the person in front recline her seat, you have no room to even type (and my laptop was only a 13 inch Mac.) I am a million miler on United and this is one of the most miserable flights that I have taken. I also don't like the fact that we cannot get seat assignments until 23 hours before departure- not even for preferred travelers.
Cons: On 4/23/2016 I missed connecting flight from Zurich to Zagreb because Miami - Zirich flight delay and horribly slow security in Zurich. To make the issue worse "somebody" (???) automatically deleted ny return ticket portion.

Cons: Rather than pay luggage fees, people are bringing on their luggage and the flight ALWAYS runs out of space. Suitcases are being moved around right at people heads and more than once I've been hit and seen other people be hit in the head by a suitcase. Getting luggage in place used to be a simple and minor issue, now it occupies much of the time, energy, and attention of the cabin crew as well as the gate crew. I realize this is making money for Delta but the cost is being paid by people being hit in the head with luggage and the crew's unavailability to deal with other issues.

Get to airport and ask for an up grade not possible but if I paid $200 when rebooking the flight I could have gotten one. Snacks were horrible and I have a delta card and was charged $29 to get in plus a charge for my extra suitcase. It’s ridiculous given the amount of money I spend on m card on the monthly basis. Cons: On this Delta flight operated by Virgin Atlantic one of us was unable to check in or change our seats. You think you are getting Delta but everything must be done through VA. VA bag weights are less than Delta and the seat was incredibly cramped. We both had to sit with our legs bowed to the side as the seat ahead was so close. For nine hours we were cramped and could not sleep due to only be able to squeeze into one position. To get into the seat I put on leg in and then sat on the armrest and then brought my other leg up and then lowered my but into the seat. I am not even 6 feet tall and had this issue. So due to the difficult online check-in and seat selection and to the cramped seats we will never fly Virgin Atlantic again.

No sign of Lufthansa reps at arrival gate area and zero directions on where to go. Had to walk miles through Frankfurt airport , go through immigration and security again without any direction one where to find Lufthansa and when finally found Lufthansa service counter it was understaffed with long lines and confusion. By time we learned rebooking, we almost missed rebooked connections. So much for German organizing and efficiency.

Cons: I selected my seats online before the flight. It seems my seat assignments were changed (many other customers complained of the same issue). I have siliver status on United and was told that there was no way to be considered for upgrade to different seat. I was told that the list was already full of higher priority customers. Yet at the same time the same employee announced those seats were available for purchase at $200 Euro for others. It seemed in both cases Lufthansa shuffled around passengers out of their selected seats for unknow reasons and also werent honoring frequent flier status programs for changing seats. Furthermore, the in seat entertainment did not work and it took quite a bit of effort including trying to move seats to get the flight attendants to reset the system (they said it would affect other customers who didnt have problems with their entertainment system). 8+hour flight is long flight to not have the system working. eventually the fixed it a couple of hours into the flight.

Cons: I was careful to prepare my luggage so I only had a carry on. Unfortunately, the weight limit for carry on baggage is incredibly low, so I ended up having to check my bag anyway. I understand the process and why, so this is only a minor complaint. But I do wish the weight limit could be a bit higher.

Cons: Inexplicably, our preassigned seats were changed at checkin and we were put in bulkhead. This particular Boeing aircraft is pretty poorly designed. Especially the bulkhead in premium economy.

Cons: the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM.

Pros: Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible.

In the big room by the gate there was only one spot where I found three electrical sockets hanging from a pillar or post. To my dismay none worked. My plug would fall off from each. To document, I took the pictures of the useless sockets... I complained to the lady at the boarding desk (she left before the SAS staff moved in), she did not even care... Cons: I took this flight to have a short layer over, only 40 minutes. This was a connecting flight departed from Newark and was a connecting flight for many people coming from Thailand. I almost missed this flight due to highly backed up passport control. If SAS was running so many international flights, they should have shifted the layer over, since many people were taking connecting flights for Oslo to Manchester. No food, there should have at least been a snack or at a minimum offered water.

Pros: I was running late for the flight due to bad traffic en route to the airport. Nonetheless, the staff was very understanding, and called me to the gate once I finally arrived to assign me a seat since I wasn't given one when I checked in online. They upgraded me without my asking... to an economy plus exit row, so I had lots of room during the 8 hour flight to Copenhagen. The plane was new - an Airbus A330 - and the flight crew was friendly and helpful.

No one was available around the self service kiosks and the line to drop bags or get any service didn't move for 40 minutes. We finally went to the gate. In Copenhagen we had a delay and no one would even talk to us except to say " you are booked in tourist class so I can't help You". They do an excellent job of avoiding any contact with their customers. I fly almost every week for business and have never had this bad of service.
