The travel company that you have on your site did me so wrong. I don’t know how it happened, but they put my son‘s name on my plane ticket flying to Vietnam. Along with his birthday. They would not have let me fly from Fort Myers to Ho Chi Minh City. I don’t think that I can ever use your service again. I typed my information into the browser along with my passport number and four days before I’m leaving I have to quickly search another ticket to fly out here.
Sitting on the runway after we land for almost two hours! Not sure if we should blame United or Just Dumpy Vance.
It was nice to have gotten up upgraded to first class with a meal on a three hour flight
Flight attendant in first class gave poor service (like he didn't want to be there) and food was awful. We sat waiting for gate upon arrival over 45 mins.
Liked the hospitality . The ight took us 6 hrs to get from fort myers to ewr.
Received an email the night before showing that there would be seatback entertainment on our flight. We get on and there was no seatback entertainment. And then it was a scramble to try to set up the iPads for the kids before takeoff so they could watch something for the four hour flight.
The Wi-Fi was unavailable on this flight for some reason.
Please please take consideration when setting cabin temperature. The vents were not functional and it was over 70 degrees in the cabin during the winter months when most people are used to much cooler indoor temperatures. I was down to my white t-shirt and the sweat pants I wore from Auckland to San Francisco and was sweating profusely and there was NO VENT!
The flight was clean and on time, the crew were all very nice and we got the seats we booked. Plenty of food and beverages. The seats are too close so it’s very difficult to try and sleep comfortably.
Good flight, comfortable seats and very quick passage through Heathrow. Boarding in Washington was cramped and not well organized, but the rest was perfect.
Everything was done like clockwork and I find no fault with the airline.
It was a 3 hour flight from Dallas to Missoula. The aircraft did not have power plugs, internet or in-flight entertainment. When boarding, one flight attendant was "somewhere in the airport" so delayed the boarding process (not coming from another flight) although we did take off on time and landed early. In flight there was little to no service - we got the standard beverage but no real connection with the crew which feels unusual for a 3 hour flight. A passenger needed help stowing her bag and got no assistance, and actually some passive aggressive comments from the flight attendants about "she needs to remove the extender" and "she'll have to find a place for it". I have seen others be helpful and put a bag in the closet, or support assistance as the boarding door was already closed. Just not a great experience considering the cost of my round trip ticket {$1000}.
Like all planes recently, entertainment is achieved by giving the patron free WiFi and letting them stream shows via the screen on a phone or tablet.
Requested early boarding to disinfect seat, tray table, etc. before general boarding. Instructed to board after wheelchair passengers. Waited on jet bridge behind 12 wheelchair passengers. Stopped immediately after entering plane to wait for gate agent in rear of plane cleaning a seat that was wet, got to my row and found both seats adjacent to mine already occupied, with the lack of room making it impossible for me to clean my own space and defeating the purpose of my boarding early. Cleaned the armrests and tray table as best I could.
I didn't end up taking this flight. I got up at 4am for a flight that was supposed to board at 6am - at 5:55am you delayed the flight to 10am. The airport is under construction so I switched to a later flight as I wasn't going to sit in the airport for 4 hours. They said the delay was due to the crew needing rest from a flight coming in late the night before - if that was the case then I think you should have delayed the flight much sooner so that passengers wouldn't get up so early and get to the airport to sit and wait.
The flight to Tokyo AA61 took off about two hours late, but then had to turn back. By that time the crew had to be replaced. Then they kept promising to take off in an hour, then in 3, then switch to the next day.
You were more on time than United. I'm so over united delays.
It was my second AA flight in a week where there was no air movement. Initially, I just thought it was me however, as we were getting off the airplane, several individuals were commenting on how stuffy and hot the cabin was on the flight. This was the second flight in a week that was like this - very odd
6-hour delay ON the plane in Minneapolis. Missed connecting flight from Dallas to Albuquerque!!
Honestly the only poor experience was the lady at American Air line check in in Fort Myers airport. Who didn't listen when I said i already paid for my bags online and she tried to charge me $40. When I clicked cancel on the kiosk she scolded me and sent me to "full service check in". To which that gentleman was very nice and I proceeded to pay nothing more, like I expected.
