Pros: Great crew. I had 3 seats for myself.
Cons: Selection of music entertainment.
Pros: Great crew. I had 3 seats for myself.
Cons: Selection of music entertainment.
Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: Not piling up people like sardines in a can.
Pros: Food was really hot and good customer service
Pros: The crew was pleasant and worked very hard to keep our stomachs full! I loved all the free movies!
Pros: I liked that it was a straight flight from SFO -ZRH. On board entertainment was great.
Cons: Seating is way to tight. Service from crew is nothing at all like it used to with Swiss. Nearly a smile from crew ( both legs of flight) mostly just hand motion when serving food. Food was a big disappointment too. It feels like all the good service is reserved only for business and first class !
Pros: Bombardier C Series. Most leg room and comfort of any plane
Pros: The crew was very nice. Seats were pretty comfy.
Cons: Food was ok. We could have been accommodated a little more. We lost a lot of money bc of the delay.
Pros: The seats were good for a short flight, which this was. No complaints.
Pros: Crew was nice
Cons: No WiFi on a 12 hour flight, but we could all see the full signal WiFi for the crew, aptly named. LXCrew. Awful to see them using WiFi when we are unable.
Cons: Temperature was very hot
Pros: Swiss is always excellent
Pros: The crew
Cons: More comfortable seats
Pros: Amazing crew/ food/seats very comfortable! Very relaxing ride !
Cons: It was perfect !
Pros: most of the flight attendants were excellent except one particular one who was basically yelling at passengers. she had a a logo or a badage on her that identifies her as a manager or a crew lead. she had poor manners and need major improvement
Cons: the seats are small and very small space in comparison to Lufthansa
Pros: Food and drink service were excellent and big choice of entertainment
Cons: seat row spacing in economy was too tight for a 10+ hour flight
Pros: The crew was very helpful & friendly
Cons: The a/c or fans were on too high
Pros: good availability of food
Cons: seats did not have much space at all. Legs constantly squished and there was no room to move them the whole trip. not much movie selection available.
Pros: There wasn't much that stood out as likable. The food was pretty good.
Cons: The plane was too hot. I asked multiple times throughout the flight for the temperature to be reduced, and it was not. I was wearing light jeans and a short sleeve shirt, and I was sweating all flight. Each time I asked throughout the duration of the flight, I was told it take a while for the temperature to decline. It's one thing to be uncomfortably warm on a flight; it's another thing when the flight crew lies to you. Further, I was not the only one to request that the temperature be reduced. This made an 11 hour flight particularly miserable.
Pros: Great services and the staffs. Very comfortable flight and plane
Pros: Food service is adequate.
Cons: Standard complaint, but economy seats are way to squeezed in!
Cons: I chose my seat online and when I got to the gate they changed my seat to the way back of the plane
Pros: Although sitting in a plane in coach could never be considered a wonderful experience, Swiss Air did the most to make it so. in particular the crew was very responsive and cheerful. The leg room wasn't bad and they were very liberal with their wine and beer offering.
Pros: The crew fed us well throughout the flight--and we got free wine with dinner. The food was pretty good for airplane food. We got fresh dinner rolls, salad, dessert, and Swiss cheese. We got ice cream part way through the trip. I loved that we got a piece of Swiss chocolate on each leg of the journey. The crew was friendly. There was a screen at each seat where you could watch movies or TV, listen to music, or track your flight. The entertainment was free, and the crew provided free earphones. Blankets and pillows were provided.
Cons: Like most planes, there was not enough leg room. It makes it pretty uncomfortable for an 11-1/2 hour flight. The boarding was a little confusing, but no serious issues.
Pros: crew very nice and helpful. great service. food was very good and good portions. very nice entertainment system.
Cons: unable to choose seat without paying extra.
Pros: The aisle seat I purchased wasn't miserable like so many economy seats are. But I did have to pay for it!
Cons: I had such a miserable experience getting to Florence on Swiss Air that I sent a letter of complaint WHILE ON VACATION!! Really. It was a nightmare... not the way you want to start a vacation. I had difficulty booking my daughter's seat online for the return, but didn't have access to phone service while abroad. In my complaint letter to Swiss Air I requested they place us together. I never got a response and upon check in, they had my son and me in our purchased seats and my daughter at the back of the plane. I asked them if they could do anything about it (I was even willing to give up my seats to move to the back...) yet no one seemed concerned or interested in helping to make this work. They also had no knowledge of my complaint or appeared concerned about my prior experience. I'm so over Swiss Air. My experience with the employees on the phone prior to my first departure, the lack of response to my email, and a disinterested and inattentive staff on my return, have all convinced me to choose a different airline next time.
Pros: I take the flight from ZRH to SFO several times a year. Typically on time, typically good service, food and drinks
Cons: The entertainment on the Airbus 340 is outdated and the screens are terrible but that is the only problem. ugh better with the new 777. Unfortunately not the case today
Pros: plane was huge and clean. hour flight, was shocked to have service. Bravo!
Cons: gate number on ticket was different from where plane left from. Almost missed my flight.
Pros: Service ok
Cons: Horrible food, tvs didn't work, crowded.
Cons: Checking bags took longer than I would have liked.
Pros: There was metalic box underneath the seat in front of me (entertainment box), that did not leave any room to stretch my legs
Cons: This box blocked any room to stretch my legs. The flight was full and I did not have the chance of changing seats. Flying 13 hours in this situation is unacceptable.
Pros: It takes two minutes to get to a live operator when you call. Simply amazing.
Cons: The flight from Nairobi to Zurich starts in Nairobi, flies an hour south to Dar es Salaam, you then sit on the tarmac for an hour, then you fly north for an hour until you get back to the starting point. I would think they would save money if they flew an empty plane down to Dar es Salaam, picked up those passengers and then flew back to Nairobi. No way should an 8.5 hour flight take over 11.5 hours. Plus my screen didn't work for one of the flights, nearly 12 hours without entertainment was BS. No real variety in their meals either. The first leg had a main meal of beef and potatoes as the meat option, same option for the second leg.
Pros: The crew was pleasant.
Cons: The Swissair website did not have my information available. Stood next to Passport Control for an hour (!) for a glitch they couldn't resolve before boarding. Flight was delayed 90 minutes. Worse quality beef on a flight ever, and that's hard to do. In my 1.5 million miles flown, these were the least comfortable, cramped seats I have ever experienced. I am only 5'7", 150lbs, but for the first time ever could not reach my belongings in the under-the-seat space in front of me. Seriously, it was that cramped.
Pros: Very professional crew
Cons: Not enough food
Pros: Service was excellent and very friendly.
Cons: The seats are terrible. Narrow, the armrests edgy and only partially movable. A large metal box under the seat takes away 2/3 of the legroom. The entertainment system is outdated, screen has no contrast and can only be viewed at a straight angle, which is impossible as soon as the seat is reclined.
Pros: The crew did a great job of handling our 2-hour delay in starting from Zurich - we were kept updated on what was happening, the aircraft was at a comfortable temperature (not too hot, not too cold), and we were given water during the wait. Also, during the flight, the crew kept coming through with more water, which was VERY NICE! Plus, the moist towels prior to landing. It makes a big difference in comfort levels for such a long flight.
Cons: The on-board entertainment system was old and very clumsy to handle (with the embedded control in the arm rest). Also, it crashed on me two times and had to be re-booted, which was frustrating and took a long time every time it happened.
Pros: See above
Cons: Very uncomfortable seats, very hard. The cabin was cold and there was no possibility to adjust blowers. Old entertainment sets with poor variety of choices to watch.
Cons: Boarding was chaotic Crew was friendly but rarely came through Offering water during a 12 hr flight Also did not enforce "shades down" during the The night And did not respond to call lights
Pros: Food, service, beverages, film selection.
Cons: I paid for a seat on the aisle with extra leg room. Seat 24D. There was only minimal foot space because of some type of metal box under seat 23D. I don't think that I should had to pay $45 for the extra leg room just to receive cramped foot space.
Cons: Ice cream snack.
Pros: Loved the entertainment. Food was great!
Cons: There was no indication of what line went where while in the boarding process. Nobody told us that we needed to get a blue stamp (??) on our boarding ticket, for what I still don't know. So then we needed to get in ANOTHER line and get the stamp and then stand in line AGAIN just to get on the plane! For being Swiss you'd think you'd have this part down AT LEAST! Boarding by seat number would have been a better idea. Everybody was all over the place getting their bags stored above.
Pros: Food was overall not bad. It would have been nice to have more snack options if I was hungry in between meals.
Cons: Landed early but there was no gate so we just sat on the runway. We also sat on the runway long past when we were supposed to arrive. I'm not sure why there still was no gate when we passed the time that we were supposed to arrive. There were also no power outlets in the plane. For such a long flight, it would be great to have power outlets to charge devices while flying. Flight was also kept very cold. Not very good entertainment options.
Pros: There was no food
Cons: Cramped seating
Pros: Great crew
Cons: Automated check in machines were horrible and almost caused me to miss my flight
Pros: Excellent service
Cons: Small jet for transatlantic didn't allow for being able to walk, stretch and move about much during such a long flight, unlike larger airbus planes or larger Boeing planes. Why do airlines hire chefs then serve lousy food!? First meal was so so while wake up meal was really bad. Was so disappointed in Swiss Air so will not fly with them again. Great service doesn't make up for the noted disappointments. Spending a $2-3 more on food would have helped, but placing us in a long flight in such a small airbus plane just won't do!
Pros: food was good and crew service courteous and attentive
Cons: Plane was very old. No leg room. Seats recline way too much until you can't even see the image on the screen anymore when the person in from decides to recline all the way let alone how uncorfotsblr it is to have the back of the front seat almost touching your face and serously limiting ability to move on the seat. Entertainment has super old interface, software.
Pros: Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Nothing to say here
Cons: I flew out of Paris twice to head home to the U.S. Each time we left Paris late, resulting in me rushing to catch my connection flight.
Pros: Very friendly thank you!
Cons: The wifi login experience could be improved. I purchased wifi as a guest when I had an account and had to spend extra time chatting with an agent to get it resolved. They were very helpful but having the option to login to my account at the start would be ideal!
Pros: I would like to have ore of a grace period to check baggage.
Pros: Crew was polite and very helpful.
Cons: It would have been great to reiterate to passengers to remain seated when deplaning, until the passenger in the row ahead were approximately 6 Ft away.
Cons: Bad social distance
Pros: Felt safe and sanitary
Cons: No wifi
Pros: The crew went the extra mile to accomodate my bag due to not having a seat in front of me to stow it. Also, Delta Comfort was exceptional!
Cons: We weren't alerted there was a chance of delays. Over two hours late.
Cons: Better food offerings
Pros: The pilot did an awesome job of welcoming travelers and keeping them updated on the flight status.
Cons: I sat almost to the back and there was not enough lunch by the time the crew made it back there so I had to eat breakfast instead of lunch.
Pros: The crew was communicative and courteous.
Cons: There was a flight delay in LAX due to a maintenance issue. The captain and crew informed us before we boarded the plane which was excellent. However, they could not figure out what was wrong with the planed and delayed the boarding for another 3 hours, putting our 1900 departure time to 2100.
Pros: The crew WAS amazing!
Cons: Not a thing! It was perfect
Cons: More comfortable than I expected for a 6 hour flight. 757 was quite spacious.
Cons: I came from a long trip from France, the seat I was assigned was not reclinable, close to the restroom. I was totally exhausted from the previous flight, not able to sleep at all and when I tried to stretch my legs by sitting sidewards on the aisle a crew member keep bothering me to keep my legs out
Pros: Food and movies
Pros: Service by crew. I was flying economy but it was par to business class.
Pros: Nice crew
Cons: Delta always delivers!
Pros: Very comfortable, no complaints.
Pros: The care and good food was much appreciated. There were plenty of excellent movies to watch to make the time pass in an enjoyable way.
Pros: great crew
Pros: I really enjoyed the service on Delta. The entire process was better than what i've come to expect on airlines. My flight attendant was Kate, and she was awesome - super friendly, professional, thoughtful.
Pros: Better than average entertainment system for domestic flights.
Cons: Boarding done against logic: my seat was in the last 5 rows of the cabin and I was scheduled to board in the final group. When I got to my seat the first 30 rows were nearly fully, but the back of the plane was half empty. The whole time the gate agent was urging passengers to move faster through the aisle, but Delta should really rethink its boarding strategy. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to board a 757.
Pros: Flight left and arrived on time. Smooth flight, so the weather gets credit for that. Seats a bit more roomy than the horrible sardine cans I've become accustomed to being squished into on Delta flights.
Cons: The provided earphones are useless. Next time I'll have to bring some from home. I only could watch films with "closed caption."
Cons: We thought we were flying AirFrance as our emails came from them and were surprised to learn after waiting in the AirFrance baggage drop queue for 30 mins that we were in the wrong place.
Pros: Delta employees exceedingly cordial. food poor to moderate, seating space impossibly small but pillow and blanket were provided
Cons: seats too close from front to back, and not adequately cushioned
Cons: I was flying from CDG to LGD and my bag was lost, yet the baggage claim system showed it arrived...... Thankful I packed some essentials in my carry on. The bigger issue will be dealing with my medical insurance company to get medications replaced that were in the checked bag.
Pros: The flight was very good, no complaints, good service and we flew on schedule
Cons: We were split into two boarding groups, one for priority and one for everyone else. This was good but the priority line was just a bit too far away for the announcements to be heard. This added a little bit of confusion. This was at gate B36 at JFK Airport's Terminal 4.
Pros: On time
Cons: Take a long time to taxi to the gate & getting off the plane.
Pros: Food and service was nice
Cons: Very long route to my final destination
Pros: Clean plane, great breakfast options included with the flight. Crew was polished, helpful and genuinely nice! Gate agents at NYC were knowledgeable, organized, and quick. Boarding was a breeze. Impressive selection of movies for onboard entertainment choices.
Cons: I thought the $11.00 fee for 30 continuous minutes of full Wi-Fi access was a bit pricey, esp when it kept getting disconnected and ended being about a collective 7-8 mins of access.
Pros: Fast boarding and complimentary snacks.
Cons: I was seated next to a very large woman who came over the arm rest onto my seat.
Pros: Was tired and the FA helped me find a row that I could stretch out on and relax. After a long trip from Moscow, the FA's volunteering to help and accommodate a beleaguered traveler was most appreciated!
Pros: Seats were comfortable ... enough. Boarding process, once underway allowed me to get overhead bin and stash my other luggage in the seat below me. Flight wasn't overly booked (85-95%) so there appeared to be room for others to stretch out. Now about that crying kid...
Cons: Ugh. Weather delays. The flight was scheduled to board about 7P but it arrived late and they had to not only unload the self-loading cargo, but clean up afterwards. Would be nice to get a better estimate as to how long it would take to board so that I could hang out in the lounge. In addition, departure from JFK was delayed as well, either we missed the IFR window or got stuck behind some traffic and I fell asleep on the plane only to wake up what seemed an hour later just getting ready to hit V1. No upgrade.
Cons: Force me to take a bad seat
Pros: I didn't get a chance to get the gentleman's name at the gate, but he was able to get me on the earlier flight (since I had NO luggage and only 1 carry on that fit under my seat) and didn't charge me the stupid fee for filling a seat that was empty when I was giving up a seat on a later flight that would accommodate those who missed this earlier flight. Nice to see kindness in an industry that seizes fees on every opportunity.
Pros: All was quiet. It was an early flight. Nice offer of more snack choices than other airlines.
Cons: Didn't understand why I had to wait until getting to the gate to have a seat assigned when I purchased tickets several months ago. Since I was in the last boarding group, Had to check in my bag since it was already full, had fragile stuff in there and hoping everything is ok. it is what it is. Not anyone's fault but disappointing to have to do when I didn't plan on checking in and going to pick up at the baggage claim. This is what i wanted to avoid in the first place. could have at least offered to let us pick them up as we deplaned and not baggage claim!
Pros: We'd paid extra for main cabin so hot to choose seats and got in flight entertainment.. Staff were friendly.
Cons: No free wifi.
Pros: Airline stewards were very friendly and pleasant.
Cons: We booked with Delta, but were put on Air France. Even though we had our boarding passes in hand we had to wait in long, slow line for baggage tags because they would not print from kiosk. There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare.
Pros: The meal on Air France (a code share with Delta) was excellent.
Cons: Very bad seat in the exit row. It was very narrow and hardlly reclined at all. there was no place to put your things because there was no seat in front of it. Legroom was very good.
Pros: They arrived on schedule.
Cons: Seated in the rear middle seat. I had no options to select a seat when I checked in or made my reservation that wasn't an extra charge. I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs. If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections.
Pros: Delta does a good job of seating and meals and flight offerings
Cons: The crew were not customer oriented and seemed like they really weren't interested in their clients. Also we were bounced around between Air France and Delta at the ir port and when trying to check in online even though we booked through Delta.
Pros: I didn't like anything about this flight. Only benefit of the doubt is the 2 hour delay as a runway in SF had shut down.
Cons: We had seats at first where there was what looked like bubble gum bits stuck on one of the food trays. The flight was clearly not cleaned although it landed 2+ hours before the departure. We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence.
Pros: The crew, leg room with seats! The flight crew was extremely nice!!!!
Cons: Everything was pleasant....I wouldn’t change anything.
Pros: Comfort of A380 Legs space
Cons: Terrible Connecto in Frankfurt We had to run for 15mn to get our Singapore flight with no help from Lufthansa: poor service
Pros: The fight had a lot of open seats as I had a whole row to myself! Also the crew was kind.
Cons: Flight was delayed, but it didn’t interfere with my travel plans.
Cons: A delay to unload then reload bags, followed by no in-flight communication of connecting flights, led to a missed connection and an overnight hotel stay.
Pros: I was seated in Row 18 (comfort economy?) and my seat was relatively comfortable. The cabin was clean and pleasant. The crew was friendly, efficient, and professional.
Cons: My family was seated in the economy section and their seats were extremely uncomfortable. I had the pasta dish for dinner and it was mushy to the point of being inedible.
Pros: Upgraded to business class for a reasonable fee.
Pros: Comfortable seats, good selections of movies for entertainment. Polite flight attendants. Overall a relaxing trip.
Cons: Weak selection of TV shows for entertainment, but movies selections were very good so overall not a real problem.
Pros: Crew, boarding, seat
Cons: Paris airport is extremely passenger unfriendly. Better to connect somewhere else
Pros: on time no hassle
Cons: nothing in particular
Pros: Overall once on the flight the service and comfort were very good. Attendants were very nice and helpful. Always had a smile and made the flight enjoyable. We specifically picked this Airline for its service and reliablity
Cons: The checkin and "Automated" Baggage Check were a disaster. It took us a full 2 hours to check our bags and get to thru security and our gate. We were practically running to get to the end. The layout of the airport is very tough to get from point A to point B. Walking a long distance with multiple security checks. On top of that, the plane was almost an hour late boarding and then taking off. It was a mass of people with no way to cue for an orderly boarding process. No instructions or info given to allow us to go get something to eat or drink prior to boarding.
Pros: I had to pay a premium more to sit with my family to sit together in cheap seats.
Cons: I did not like the treatment of being a star alliance gold member then getting gouged even more for sitting together with my family in their cheap seats. My bags were marked with a priority tag, which meant nothing other than my bags being the very last off of the turnstile in San Francisco. One other passage stated that Luftansa does not care abut this aspect of customer service, which is obvious.
Pros: Attentive and friendly crew, good selection of in-flight entertainment
Cons: Crew did not come around very frequently with water throughout flight, mostly only during regular beverage service.
Pros: great airport and ease of check in and quickness on boarding flight.
Cons: boarding everyone all at once creates long unnecessary lines when staggered boarding would help
Cons: First time took Lufthansa airlines and it was my one of the worst experience. Hospitality is respected when customer is helped when they are in trouble not when they is happily boarded. I have to travel from Milan to San Francisco and I missed flight of my one leg ( milan to frankfurt) of journeyand I went for help and non of the Lufthansa staff at Milan airport helped me. Although my connecting flight was after 12hr they just gave me some random number which to call. I have never experience this in my 8yr of international travel.
Pros: Great service, comfy plane, smooth ride.
Cons: My flight schedule changed after I bought the ticket, which resulted in paying for the hotel for the extra night and using one more PTO day.
Pros: The food for the morning was a white chocolate cranberry cookie which was delicious
Cons: Our plane was 30 mins late and the terminal was right next to security so we couldn’t hear them when they spoke the English or French on the PA system about us being delayed. We just barely made our connecting flight and our next flight was way better in service. Our luggage didn’t make the connection and hoping that all our precious cargo from our anniversary trip made it. The flight attendant told us we had enough time to make it to our next flight but I honestly ran from one point of the airport to the other. The staff said it wasn’t that far and no checkpoints to go through - this information was false.
Pros: The crew was kind and helpful and the movie selections, food, and seats were all great.
Pros: Lufthansa arranged for pickup with a van upon disembarking from my late flight from Pisa and took me through a special passport and security checkpoint so that I was able to catch my MUC-SFO flight. Flight departed late, but pilot made up all tge lost time in flight. Crew was professional, very polite and efficient.
Pros: Crew attention
Cons: Would have been great if the airlines "flying" had actually been Lufthansa! My electronic ticket said Lufthansa, check in at Lufthansa, but when I got there and tried to check-in...NOT Lufthansa! It was United. I deliberately went out of my way to NOT book with United when placing my reservation. Personal reasons. Won't book this way ever again.
Pros: Flight went well.
Cons: Frankfurt airport is large and complex. Takes some effort to negotiate from one flight to another.
Pros: Individual entertainment center with multiple video options, documentaries, old and new movies.
Cons: The entire Economy and Economy + had to walk to a section in the middle to use few toilets, instead of having the restrooms spread out. This resulted in a long line and awkward waits facing 10 more people in a very small space. The blanket was not washed well, had long blond hair on it. The temperature was very cold.
Pros: The food was pretty good. Normally I can't eat airplane food but it was actually good.
Cons: The seat didn't go back at all
Pros: Water bottle when we arrived at our seat.
Cons: Paying 8 euros for premium movies AND if you wanted earphones (I had my own), you would need to pay 2 euros more. Excessive. Choice of movies was rather limited even in premium. In regular, it was quasi non-existent (2).
Pros: The water and small coffee cake was nice to have on this connecting flight.
Cons: First, I had issues with checking into my flight online, which lead to me having to print my boarding pass at the airport. Since I had a separate flight with Eurowings that sent me from Munich to Paris, which was not connected with this flight, I came in directly into the airport and no where near a Kiosk to check in or print out my ticket/boarding pass. I explained to numerous employees my situation and they casually exclaimed I should be able to make it in. Once I got into the airport I could barely get through security since I did not have my boarding pass. I kept explaining I don't have a boarding pass because I could not check into my flight to obtain it. Then when they finally let me through with only 10 minutes to spare before my flight's gate would close, I finally reached the boarding desk only to be told I had to wait because out of the two men who were scanning boarding passes, they were too busy to help me. I then had to explain three times that I had already paid for and booked my flight, however, I could not check in online and was having an issue with an error that stated I was missing information, even though there was nothing marked in red or anything marked to edit, so each time I tried it denied me. I also tried calling for customer support and did not get a hold of anyone because the lines were too busy. After explaining all of this to the man at boarding, he made me wait an additional 5 minutes before helping me check into the flight and print out my boarding pass. I was treated like a stand-by customer and I did not appreciate it since I paid for this flight and tried to check in 24 hours prior. I was expecting much more from Lufthansa, as my boyfriend recommended this flight company to me, but I was extremely disappointed in so many ways it makes me question whether I want to fly this airline again for future trips abroad.
Pros: Smooth flight. No delay, no unpleasant surprise.
Pros: we arrived early. the headrests are well-designed- all headrests on all flights should be like this.
Cons: when we first boarded and went to use the restroom before the flight departed, the floor was sticky and smelled strongly of urine. had they even cleaned it on the turnaround? doubtul. several other toilets also smelled like urine early in the flght. the touch-screen on the entertainment interface is not very user friendly and was kind of frustrating.
Pros: the gate crew didn't care if there was chaos. no interaction with waiting passengers beyond those that queued up with direct questions. i'd liken the experience to herding cattle. customer service skills haven't been taught to these folks yet. if i were basing my lufthansa experience on this alone, i'd go out of my way to fly another airline next time. on the other hand, the people staffing the flight were extremely kind, professional, pleasant, personable. a much improved experience. so much so that i mentioned it to a few people once i got home. this crew has received more training on how to provide excellent service than the gate folks in frankfurt.
Cons: gate crew's attitude. it feels as though they are disdainful of the traveller. customer service matters. manage the boarding process. be nice about it.
Pros: The very gracious crew kept coming by with drinks and snacks, as well as lunch and dinner (in coach). The entertainment system is top notch, with a few dozen movies, lots of TV shows and more, with screens for each seat. The only complaint is that there's not much space between seats, so that when the person in front of you leans back, things can get tight. On the plus side, the bathrooms are downstairs (down a short staircase) and there's plenty of waiting room, so you don't get the usual congestion. Overall, a wonderful experience for an intercontinental flight.
Pros: The flight was on time enough that I comfortably got to my connecting flight. It was still late and some other passengers were anxious they wouldn't get theirs. The crew was nice.
Cons: Business class seats were regular seats with the middle seat unused. The "meal" on this early flight (had to leave the house around 4:30am to get to it) was light. I'm glad I had the time to stop at the business lounge first. I don't recall any entertainment system, which isn't a big issue on this short flight.
Pros: there was ice cream for dessert at night
Cons: - Delay > 2 hours and no info at gate at the time of planned boarding - unfriendly ground staff and chaotic check in - old 747, "entertainment 1970s standard - crew looked unkempt (like just out of bed), unfriendly to downright rude, my 85 year old mum was ignored repeatedly and ended up not getting enough fluids as a result - 1/8 crew members managed a smile on occasion - rushed meal "service", all they wanted was to disappear to sleep - crammed spaces - while it was announced "we have three different meal choices, you will have at least two choices" - ummm, no, it was pasta. Period. To be fair the pasta turned out ok. The morning dry ham and cheese bun was not, especially without any drink.
Pros: Boarding process was efficient. Staff on the plane were very courteous.
Cons: Your Economy seats are TOO SMALL! I'm 6-foot-4. It was physically PAINFUL to sit in the seats. My legs kept falling asleep and cramping up because I literally can't fit in your seats. Stop trying to squeeze every bloody dime you can out of a plane and add some more space in the seats. Passengers paying over a $1500 for 12-hour flights deserve to be treated better! That was horrible and bordering abusive!
Pros: Chairs were uncomfortable, mainly due to the front passenger was always in reclined mode, and the passenger behind me wouldn't let me recline... He would literally push my chair up, but that's probably because his chair can not recline!
Cons: We needed to place special request on vegetarian meal, couldn't do it at booking or at checkin, was told to let crew know, they said it's too late. They brought us an "unclaimed" vegetarian meal, but it wasn't, it was Asian halal meal with lamb! After I let crew member know wmy husband was served meat instead, she denied it and said "its not possible" as the wrapper says "vegetarian". I informed her it actually said "Asian halal", she the proceeded to say, well, "i am sorry if it's wrong, but I gave you vegetarian". That said crew member collected my husband's plates while I was in the bathroom and came back later with a "vegan" plate that they now have available.
Pros: The seats were comfortable (economy), headrest excellent. Crew especially hospitable. Good food. It was nice to be offered drinks and food without extra charge, including alcoholic drinks ( even though we did not drink on the flight). I appreciate that Lufthansa does not charge for checked bag, food etc and hope to fly again on Lufthansa.
Cons: Having to pay for seat reservation ahead of the flight. I did not understand how seat selection would work and wanted to be sure my husband and I were seated together. I think I paid extra fees unnecessarily. It would be helpful to have better information.
Pros: Initially things were smooth. Boarding was on time.
Cons: But then they deboarded the plane and everything went south fast. They didn't tell us what was happening or where to go or what to do. Instead we were directed to different service centers. We were told conflicting things. Sometimes they told us to exit the airport through passport control, but without any information on what to do next. They reopened the terminal but then redirected us to a service center. That center was overloaded and we ended up waiting in line for service/information for the entire day. Once I was near the service center they dissipated the line. They told us there was another service center in a different part of the airport and that this one we have waited for was closing. We went there and it was also closed instead they had beds without blankets or pillows limit the halls. Alia we were in line for hours before they offered any water or food. Food was really late. Information was the problem here. We were not told what we should do except to check with the service center. Eventually a few of us tried to get through passport control and check the service center out front. This worked much better. I was able to get a hotel and a standby ticket. That flight went much better but getting that far was a mess.
Cons: This long haul flight was on an Airbus plane with five restrooms in the basement. There was not enough space to accommodate people waiting in the basement so people had to stand on stairs or by the galley. Flight attendants kept on telling people not to do so but there was simply not enough space.
Pros: I used to fly lufthansa for my europe travel for work about 15 years ago a lot and thought in recent years it may not have been as good but these flights made me appreciate Lufthansa anew. Crew extremely helpful and polite, always followed up to any requests. Instead of barking at us like United or American crew, they went out of their way to help my daughter get a makeshift icepack for some very painful bumps she got during our vacation. Crew also kept the bathrooms clean from time to time, which was a welcome relief for such a long flight. Desk staff/service desk also was helpful in directing us during the 5 hr layover to things at the airport itself that we could do. They also helped reprint the boarding pass and write down the baggage tags when security made me lose those by separating my wallet and boarding passes into mutliple bins.
Cons: Phone service. When I tried to book my seats and meals, the lady kept getting things wrong, and ended up not getting me the seats I had specifically ended up asking for. So, when I arrived at the airport and printed my boarding cards, those were seats I did NOT want and all the service desks insisted that's what I asked for. No low carb meal option was surprising. Meal service sometimes felt like too close to each other else too far apart from snacks - didn't feel like we had enough time to digest and get some sleep, while at other times we were seeking out snacks.Overall good quality of food however.
Cons: It would have been nice to know if each meal contained cheese, as oposed to just general "chicken and rice" and "noodles with marinara and cheese" It turned ut the rice was in a cheese sauce, and i could not eat it, and could also not eat the alternate option. Please think about giving out a detailed list of ingredients for the in flight meals so we can make more informed choices when we have food restrictions!
Pros: Fast on ant off
Cons: Not enough hip or leg room which is somewhat usual, but recent flights with United are much better
Pros: The food and the entertainment system was great. Easy to check in from home and I was able to change to a seat I liked better. The flight was on time.
Cons: The airplane was rather old, the boarding and deboarding took forever.
Pros: A delay on our first leg (from Marseille to Munich) meant we missed our flight connection to SFO. Ok, these things happen. Lufthansa customer service in Munich was excellent--courteous and informative. We did not have to negotiate for lodging and other amenities while we waited for the next day's flight. Lufthansa provided for us with grace, including hotel, dinner, breakfast and the shuttle to and from the airport. The accommodations were excellent and we adjusted to our new departure time in comfort.
Pros: The flight was delayed due to the need to replace an engine part, but the crew kept us well informed. Despite taking off nearly an hour and half late, we were only about 45 minutes late in arriving. What was so great about this flight was that it was NOT full. I had an entire row to myself so I could stretch out and sleep. If I was in a regular coach seat, I would not have been comfortable for the entire trip. The crew was pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The food is pretty mediocre.
Pros: Food was terrible
Cons: Toilets were not clean
Pros: The UAL 747 was not a spring chicken anymore, looking a bit tired and faded, but the flight was uneventful and safe. The usual crying babies (WHY do parents feel the need to bring infants on board when the babies are unhappy and have no idea what's going on?!?) and customers with pneumonia (or maybe SARS or Ebola???) that you'll find on most full aircraft. I survived the earsplitting crying and the contagious coughs unscathed, so I'm satisfied with the flight.
Cons: Crying babies, contagious respiratory diseases (standard for flights these days), aging aircraft.
Pros: Perfectly pleasant short flight with LH. Cabin crew were excellent and the snack and beverages were appropriate for this short flight.
Cons: Boarding is a frustrating experience as LH do not 'filter' boarding so the process is un-necassarily frustrating......
Pros: Crew was friendly and helpful. Food was sufficient. Enjoyed keeping track of our journey via the on flight information via the entertainment equipment. Comfy ear sets to watch movies and listen to music. Music choices were decent.
Cons: Food was okay, not great.
Cons: My whole experience with Lufthansa/united was horrible. We booked our tickets on kayak and it was a Lufthansa flight operated by United. When we went to check in at the united counter they told us there was no record of our flight even though we had printed our receipt which had confirmed ticket numbers. It took over 30 minutes for them to figure out they needed to call Lufthansa to get the ticket transferred and in the end blamed us for not doing that ourselves before the flight! I thought this was insane as I have flown with multiple other airlines and never had this problem. And then once it was fixed for the way there we still had problems again on the way back. Never flying United/Lufthansa again.
Pros: United needs to update their aircraft equipment. No in seat entertainment for their long haul flights? Shame on them. They also need to take notes from the crews of Lufthansa. This crew was frantic and seemed unprepared during all of their cocktail and meal services.
Pros: So rude crew
Pros: Overall a nice and good flight
Cons: Just a detail, my “head holder” (not too sure how it is called) would not hold in position. Also, staff was a bit slow to come after being called, I had to go and ask for water by myself at some point since no one was coming after 15minites of waiting...
Pros: A flight was delayed due to weather conditions and we had to sit in the plane for almost an hour, BUT information sharing from the Capitan was sufficient and on-time. Very good job from pilots. Leg room in economy - I was positively surprised, very decent leg room! Thank you for providing it.
Cons: I flew economy and all was good and appropriate to the level.
Pros: I was sorted on Row 3 and the drapes kept hitting the back of my head.
Cons: Move the drapes a few more inches back.
Pros: very nice crew
Cons: my bagfage was lost
Pros: Crew was nice and pleasant
Cons: Flight very late
Pros: KLM never disappoints, the cabin crew was extremely kind and helpful!. The food was great, nice leg room in regular economy class, thousands of movies and tv shows...it was great!
Cons: Well there was a LOT of turbulence but no one can control the weather and shout out to the pilot for giving us such a smooth landing a rough weather!
Pros: Great crew, comfortable seating with enough leg room.
Cons: Provide dinner before getting to joburg, instead of a snack. Flight arrives late so dinner would be appreciated
Pros: Crew was helpful and food was very good
Cons: There was no entertainment on the flight from Vancouver to Amsterdam and this on top of a two hour delay in taking off which led us to have to literally run to our gate in Amsterdam to make the connection to Mumbai
Pros: Nice attention and good food. Plane and seats are confortable
Cons: We were allowed to choose our seats from SFO to Amsterdam but not for the return flight. I like to be able to choise my seats when I book the flight. Choosing seats 24 hours before is not convenient when traveling for the return trip.
Pros: The space at my feet with the chair in front was a bit akward.
Cons: Not being seated next to small kids. Perhaps they should have a separate section? ;-)
Pros: My seat
Cons: My suitcase wasn’t in the plane. 8 hours in the plane and no one offered us water. We had to look for flight attendant. Entertainment wasn’t great not too many choices and quality of screens was poor
Cons: They check for everything in the counter as if it was a low cost airline. If you go a kilo more over your baggage allowance you have to pay 100 eur. And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this.
Pros: Friendly crew! More legroom, good entertainment and food was great! Smooth landings pretty much on time.
Cons: Boarding could be better
Pros: Friendly hostesses
Cons: Flight was delayed 3 hours
Pros: The food rocks! I know that I will always be eating well with KLM. The staff is always so nice, professional and cordial...I always know I'll be in good hands with the flight. KLM #605 from Amsterdam to SFO---please pass the praise to all of them.
Pros: Good selection of movies.
Cons: Very small seats with no leg room and very little room on either side. The food was bad - even when compared to other airplane food. Plane is kept too warm.
Pros: Easy flight; loved the crew and their friendly customer service. Great food, kept everyone hydrated and fed.
Cons: The movie options, as well as music and TV options were limited. There were no electrical outlets.
Pros: Arrived early!
Cons: Boarding seemed disorganized.
Pros: Great on board service from a very professional crew.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Pros: The entertainment options were good.
Pros: Food was excellent, frequent and filling
Cons: The seat was not comfortable compared to my prior leg of the journey. Unfortunately the bathrooms were not clean, I understand that it's not the sole responsibility of the crew and passengers need to be mindful too.
Pros: Everything is top notch for an airline company.
Cons: Nothing.... I enjoyed every moment of the flight.
Pros: Good services!
Cons: Our two hour connection in Paris became 30 minutes because Air France was late in leaving Washington. So our luggage didn't make to to KLM to Amsterdam. My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages
Pros: We got a meal for a 1h flight only
Cons: No entertainment but normal for this type of flight
Pros: Very friendly crew going out of way to assist in making trip comfortable
Cons: Had travelled KLM to Amsterdam on my first flight 27 years ago and the aircrafts are stuck in that age! Lousy seats, poor quality bathrooms, lousy screens, prefer not to fly them
Pros: Friendly attendants. Decent food, and frequent snacks and beverages.
Cons: No charging ports for electronic devices.
Cons: Delay can occur sometimes but it wiuld be better to be explained its reason and the estimated time for boarding. The customer service at CDG airport was the worst ever and all people standing boarding desk were useless without any mind what they are doing.
Cons: Super delayed. Could have fixed the issue BEFORE we were sitting on tha plane for TWO hours
Pros: Crew was very nice and helpful, entertainment system worked well and had good choices
Cons: Seats were not very comfortable, it was uncomfortably hot and there was not air conditioner vent above like most other airlines
Pros: Bording was good and general flight ok
Cons: This airplane must be the oldest in the fleet. No USB, no charging, no touchscreen technology, no plugs, no bluetooth.
Cons: Boarding was delayed a little due to weather as was takeoff. Cant blame them for weather but the connection was very tight.
Pros: Consistently high standards
Pros: Everything. A truly faultless experience!
Pros: was very quick
Pros: The included snacks and the seats.
Pros: Loved the service...everything was excellent
Cons: The bus class seat was a bit narrow at the feet
Pros: No chargers or tv on planes
Cons: At Amsterdam we were told that our checkin luggage wouldn't be at Sydney!! Some low fat meals were terrible!
Pros: For an 8 hr flight...multiple snacks, 2 meals and continuous beverage service. Blanket, pillow amd movies.
Cons: Watched flight attendant drop tongs on floor, pick them up and put them back in the bowl of buns and continue to use them to serve bums
Pros: Flight unpleasant. Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues.
Cons: Carry on baggage issues and storage on plane. One aloof and unhelpful member of flight crew.
Pros: Crew was excellent
Cons: Economy was very tight! Seats were uncomfortable
Cons: Flight delayed ... Myself and three other colleagues didn't have our luggage show up from KLM flight from Amsterdam to Brussels...even though all of our luggage was labeled "priority". Once in customer service line, we looked and saw that many of the other passengers on our flight also never received their luggage. We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented.
Pros: Except for my negative comment, a good flight.
Cons: I paid extra for a window seat, but due to the poor alignment of the seats with the actual windows, I actually sat next to a wall! Nol much to see out of a wall. If KLM are going to charge extra for a window seat, then they should make sure there is a window there! If the seat had actually had a window it would have been an excellent flight.
Pros: Newer plane. Dimming windows, upgraded bathroom. Flight crew very pleasant.
Cons: Boarding wasn't announced. Limited in flight movie selection. Food was average. Same dessert for both meals served.
Pros: Captain was updating us with the delay status.
Cons: You have to be gold to get the priority boarding. In other countries I can do it with my silver status.
Pros: - entertainment systen was OK (movies), but has no current news - food was good - windows can be darkened progressively
Cons: - Schiphol airport (AMS) is small, crowded, noisy; no water fountains; toilets are dirty and insufficient in number; SFO is much better - KLM boarding process was chaotic (not by group or row number), boarding/security personnel (4 old guys) didn't have a clue - 787 is noisy, chairs are uncomfortable (my back still hurts) and very close together, they also recline way too much - food trays not collected promptly - noisy babies on all flights - clearly not enough cabin crew for a full flight - no or wrong info by pilots on timing (crew are always lying anyway) - gate is all around the back at SFO (long taxi to get there) - they inserted people in wheelchairs during deboarding thus holding everybody up.
Pros: Excellent crew made this flight very enjoyable. A lot of information during the flight about the route, arrival times and clear explanation of the departure delay. Very friendly and attentive.
Cons: Only 1 drinks round on a 3h flight.
Cons: Only serving beef as meal in economy was not great. A choice would be better.
Pros: The was knowledgeable, but customer acumen sucks.
Cons: The crew does not acknowledge the passengers. Even when one the crew member was pushing a shopping cart down the aile with the Merchandise for people to purchase, she was just in such a hurry to avoid passengers.
Pros: Crew was great and the plane was comfortable. All the amenities were included in the price and that was a plus.
Cons: The pilot strike resulted in cancellation of my flights so getting home turned in to a challenge
Pros: Good selection of movies and music. Food was mediocre.
Cons: Our seat location was near the toilets in the middle of the plane. Seemed like an unusual high number of passengers constantly using the toilets throughout the flight which created long ques in the isle and very unpleasant smells. Would never select these seats again.
Cons: I intensely disliked the 3 hour delay in Copenhagen!!! And that SAS offered the passengers in transit a meal voucher of only 50 danish Kronas, which was just enough to buy a tall Starbucks coffee drink but not enough to eat anything at the airport!
Pros: Nothing really; this looked like the cheapest transatlantic airline that I have ever taken. Will try to avoid in the future.
Cons: Limited selection of food, snacks, and drinks Limited selection of movies
Pros: This airline is punctual and the pilots are good.
Cons: The service is minimal, you pay for any alcohol and the food is nothing to write home about.
Pros: The only thing that saved the flight was a good crew and decent food.
Cons: My husband uses a wheel chair and a delightful attendant wheeled him and about 20 other passengers to a very well equipped handicap area. There we all stayed until finally we demanded that we be taken to our flight which was supposed to leave in about 10 minutes. When we boarded the plane all the other passengers were already there and I was the last one on. All the overhead bins were taken and I had to put my carry-on under the seat which left me with almost no leg room. By the time we arrived in SFO my thighs and back hurt so much that I was worried maybe I would require medical attention. Which fortunately was not the case. It was luck that I had a bag that would actually fit under the seat.
Pros: Crew, food
Cons: Boarding could have been smoother. Entertainment system could have a better selection of movies and tv programs
Pros: The crew on-board were polite and did a fairly decent job, with what they had to work with... It's a big long flight of 11+ hours, so tough to deal with so many people. An unexpected surprise was the nice selection of all types of movies to watch and kill time.
Cons: 300+ People on a plane will "radiate" heat, so the temperature inside the cabin after 6 hours was so hot that I was perspiring profusely. I even requested it be adjusted, which it seemed to be for a few minutes but then right back up to 27°C... it is too long of a flight to be that uncomfortable with no adjustments considered. I asked other passengers if they too were "uncomfortable" ALL said yes. This would have solved also in my opinion the screaming small children that were also obviously "irritated" A cooler cabin would have induced a "sleep" environment, none of which I was able to get. Sadly, based on this alone, I will not fly SAS again, unless Business Coach class or 1st Class. I was surprised that an additional Coca-Cola was charged for when some beverages were complimentary... puzzling.
Pros: - Seats are fairly comfy (as much as one can hope for an economy seat) - Excellent meals. I'm impressed that I'm getting things like ganache and cold-pressed juice in airline snacks!
Cons: - Wish the entertainment/movie selection was better, or that the foreign films had subtitles,
Cons: How possible with any criteria could charge 33€ for 1.5 such exagerate no good company at all ..
Pros: Great flight, friendly crew, good food, entertainment was ok
Cons: Cramped with no storage, ticket was stand-by took some time to convert to boarding pass and get seating to enter the plane as one of the last people,
Pros: Efficient processing of passengers onto aircraft.
Pros: Very friendly crew Intime departure and arrival
Cons: It was extremely cold in the plane (I was in row 32). Many passengers had the blue blanket wrapped around them even over their head
Cons: ended up having to put both of our large carry-on items under the seat in front of us while the flight attendants stuffed people's coats and jackets into the overhead
Pros: Smoothest landing I've ever experienced.
Cons: I missed the refreshments, if any were served at all. Granted I was tired and probably dosed off during that part of the flight.
Pros: Delayed flight arrived nearly on time.
Cons: - Boarding process chaotic. Boarding began 20minutes after the scheduled delayed-boarding time without any notice. Gate seating area at CPH was far too small - very stuffy and standing room only. - Aircraft on its last leg. Most of the A340's seats had broken cupholders. Restrooms were out of paper/soap with no attention from crew. Overhead personal lights were either burnt or malfunctioning. - Lunch meal was decent. pre-landing meal is the same as the snack... some sort of dry and non-appealing wrap. - Crew did not perform passenger safety-check before takeoff and landing (seat backs raised up and seat belts fastened).
Pros: I am pleased we landed.
Cons: entertainment system did not function properly. when it did, movie selection was terrible. very mediocre flight experience by mediocre, government funded airline that doesn't really need to compete for business.
Pros: The flight crew were very nice and helpful..
Cons: I didn't like that we waited an hour to take off I had to run through the terminal in Chicago to catch my flight to Dallas. I had to rush though customs then run to check in baggage didn't have time just to drop off and run to shuttle then run to terminal security check in then run to my gate to catch my flight I was 2 minutes before my gate closed. I barely made the flight. I am also still waiting on United Airlines to find my luggage, they are supposed to call me and drop off my luggage.
Cons: Mostly junk food
Pros: I had a connecting flight in Stockholm and forgot my laptop in the first plane. SAS personnel was very friendly and got me my laptop quickly and I was able to make my connection, even though it was pretty tight.
Cons: Seats with too little space.
Pros: Ground crew was very helpful and flight was comfortable.
Pros: The pilots were excellent : smooth takeoff and landing. The plane seemed a bit shaky at times in the air; perhaps it was windy, although the skies were clear. Good food; good stewardesses. Entertainment had very good movie choices and games.
Cons: The side lights never were turned off, so it was hard to go to sleep. On a long overseas flight, there should be some down time. It was dark outside part of the time, but never dark inside the plane. The leg room is also a bit cramped for tall people.
Pros: they were quick and apologetic
Cons: I did not like having to pay Euro 70 for my luggage at the AP. I do not recall ever having got the option to pay for my suitcase online when I booked my ticket. You guys need to make this more clear.
Pros: Flight was on time, boarding was efficient.
Cons: No free snack? Come on. What is this, wizzair?
Pros: Food was ok
Cons: Crew members not friendly.
Pros: Good entertainment options on board. Helpful crew and good snacks.
Cons: I didn't find an option to request special meal online. The only way was to call customer care which wasn't available at all times.
Pros: Great experience overall except for one flight attendant for inbound flight to Copenhagen - his attitude was a bit too casual although he was friendly.
Cons: wifi - never worked
Cons: the seats are very narrow, not comfortable movies are not good - either old or low rated movies
Pros: Was told to collect our luggage and buy a new ticket!!!!
Cons: Wasn't allowed to board connecting flight
Pros: The dinner was great!
Cons: The variety of movies was more limited than I expected.
Pros: great plane and food and crew
Cons: cant pre book luggage way too expensive for bags
Pros: The plane was well kept and the entertainment system worked well with enough choice. The crew was average: no problems.
Cons: The (transatlantic) flight was delayed 8 hours and the only compensation received was 175DKK for lunch. Had to stay in the airport over 11 hours due to this delay and had already had a 16 hour layover from the day before. I realize that unexpected delays may occur, particularly in cases where passenger safety is in question, but delays of more than 5 hours cause major inconvenience and I felt stuck in the airport with my bags and having checked out of my hotel room already. Just compensating for lunch is not enough. In the future a partial reimbursement for the flight, access to the priority lounge or a more comfortable facility such as a hotel would provide the passengers with compensation proportional to the inconvenience.
Cons: After losing the bag they had charged me 60 Euros for, it took them over 24 hours to trace, retrieve and deliver the bag. They made no offer to refund the fee, which any reasonable company would have done.
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: Seats uncomfortable and way too small especially when people in front lean back in your space. Not enough space to put feet. Also I paid for my family of three to be grouped together on flight from Stockholm to Chicago and we were seated in separate aisles so we could not converse together at all. I feel I got cheated in that aspect.
Pros: Easy upgrade to business
Cons: Breakfast. A bit strange to have cold salad with cous cous in the morning but perhaps it was meant as a combo lunch
Cons: 2 hr delay on a 2 hr flight
Pros: The flight attendants were friendly, the seats were very comfortable, and the lunch was good. The movie selection was great!
Cons: I wished the dinner was a little more substantial. It felt more like a snack than a meal.
Pros: Sear had great leg room.
Cons: No complaints at all, the pilot did a great job!
Cons: Over crowded boarding area - delay at departure
Cons: Reindeer sandwich? Come on really?
Pros: Same as above
Cons: It's extremely difficult to catch the connecting flight to San Francisco in 45 minutes
Cons: Delay was ovet 4 hours.
Pros: friendly and helpful people,on time, efficient
Pros: Crew was great. One of the best ever.
Cons: With a flight scheduled for around 11 hours, seat comfort is at the top of my list of importance. These big Airbus planes have the worst seats for long hauls. I had forgotten previous experiences when I made the reservation but won't in the future. If it is a big Airbus, I'll opt for a flight with a 767, 777, 747 or 787. And what's with one soda per flight? Overall, an acceptable flight but just barely.
Pros: Best of class service + great cabin. I sat in coach but it felt like business class on other airlines (which makes me wonder what business class is like on SAS! ). Highly recommended.
Cons: Why does SAS require passengers to use a kiosk to get boarding passes and luggage tags and then make you stand in a queue for 35 minutes just to drop off the luggage at de Gaulle airport in Paris.
