No complementary food. Old plane, no great entertainment options (should also have subtitles for hard of hearing). Terminal boarding area was too cold.

The crew were always really helpful and kind. They were happy to speak English or Japanese.
Despite stitching when I could and as soon as I could. Lower back buttocks hurt pretty bad half way through the flight. This is a knock on the airline industry and not so much ANA. Comfort levels start diminish when you try to squeeze as many seats as you can into airplane. Especially, for people like me who are at least 6' tall. Also, the food was very meh. This was surprising because all my other experiences with ANA were quite the opposite.

Took 2 standbys and much time in “service” lines to get another flight. Added six and a half hours to my day
The customer service was disgraceful. Air Canada has set the bar very, very low.
When I bought the ticket I thought it was air Canada but it was air Canada rouge so no food no entertainment tried to download air Canada app but took about an hour to get 10 percent done so flew with no entertainment no drinks no food nothing. Boarding was a pain had a three year old also had to pay extra 50 dollars for my baggage. Typical air Canada nonsense. Would not use them again.
