Once I landed, I had to connect allll the way on the other side of the airport. Once in air, things were fine, just hot. However, due to weather, we had to fly for an additional 45 minutes in the sky. The crew was as nice as they could be in that situation just overall a frustrating."

The gate agent let her through, but told her to consolidate her bags. I had one carry on and one purse and was forced to gate check my bag, only to find out I would have to go to baggage claim to pick it up. If the woman in front of me was forced to adhere to the rules, I would likely have fit my bag into an overhead. UNFAIR."

Crew kept telling me to put my seat upright, I kept having to tell them the seat was broken. Old airplane with no in-seat entertainment. they advertise on the seat that you can watch all their entertainment content for free, but then you have to pay for wifi to watch so it's not free then, is it? Every movie or show requires "additional software" so you have to purchase internet to do the download. This is an 11 hour flight, I would have appreciated being able to watch a movie or something without forking out $30. Flight was delayed, so we were low on time to make our connection. I asked a flight attendant twice if we could get help deplaning early or at least get moved up some rows since we were in the very back of a 747 (there were plenty of vacant seats). They said no, and told us that customs would only take a minute and that the other united flight knew we'd be coming and would wait. I don't usually fly united; other airlines typically will actively take steps to help (like moving connecting passengers to the front shortly before landing) if they are the cause of the delay. Customs had only one agent working and we were pretty much last in line so that process took over an hour. Just moving us 10 rows forward before landing would have made all the difference because our connecting flight closed its doors and taxied for takeoff less than 5 minutes before we arrived. They had some united employees guiding and directing a couple of passengers that were going to be late for a connection to LAX, but no help for those of us connecting to portland. Customer service didn't even offer a verbal apology. Last time I flew with united, I also had a terrible experience for different reasons. I did not intend to fly united for this flight, but I purchased tickets through and for Lufthansa, and this flight was regrettably operated by united. Another thing I don't like - the food was horrendous. It was a breakfast sandwich that was advertised as "hot and fresh" on the packaging but was served straight from the refrigerator. I was in the middle seats with one person to my left and two people to my right. Everyone took only one bite and threw away the rest. Just don't bother serving the food if it's going to be that bad, it's very wasteful. I always appreciate a hot towelette after a long overnight flight. United offered no such thing which was a first for me. Regarding boarding: they called us all up to line up in boarding groups and then we had to stand in line for 65 minutes. I have a bad back and had to sit on the carpet to avoid being last in line and not having space for my carry on bag. Would have been nicer if they would have just let us sit in the chairs at the gate in comfort until they were ready to board."

Pros: "Rude boarding employee- Rude in general on phone with United Got to my confirmation code after having to change my flight and we got disconnected- didn't call me back when he had my number. Lost the connection"

Cons: "United sucked on this leg. Flight never should have left Chicago. We were diverted to Oklahoma City, where United abandoned us. System was unresponsive and noone could override the system. Folks at the counter could not cancel the diverted flight, so United was not able to rebook us on other flights. This was at midnight to 2:00 am. I stayed at the airport to catch a 5:00 am flight to Houston, then to Omaha, then had to rent a car to get the rest of the way. United lied to us about what was happening to us several times. Then abandoned us when the pilots timed out."

Cons: "Boarding was stopped due to plane maintenance, there was a delay, the flight attendants had to be seated the entire time due to turbulence so I was very hungry and thirsty and received no food or beverages. I almost missed boarding because the staff said they would deplane the passengers in the middle of boarding and would be another 20 min but instead continued boarding. I would expect to have at least some water for the price paid."

Cons: "United cancelled our first flight, and would not re-book us on another flight until 24 hours later, so we ended up having to drive from Washington DC to Savannah for an event. Instead of cancelling just the first leg of our flight, they cancelled the return trip as well, and then tried to charge us the difference because we were "booking at the last minute". United really is the worst airline, and we will never fly with them again."

"I liked nothing flying from ATL to Denver , flight was delayed 4 hrs , we were told to move from one terminal across the airport , then was told to move back to the same spot later when we were told the flight will be leaving at 12:12 vs 1:46 am which means they moved us three times . When we got back to the first spot which was d1 from e1 we were then told we will be departing at 1:46 😂. I had my wife and daughter , we were never offered anything at all , when we used the vending machines in the airport nothing worked no stores open at all. When we finally got told to board we were placed in the tunnel for over 20 min , then where It got real bad was in the plane , take note we were all tired hungry and wanted something to drink . We then board the plane , we sit down and I asked the Stewart if I could have some water he told me when we are in the air , I told him thank you and tried to get comfortable as we have Been sitting in an un air-conditioned airport In The section we were in . As I am sitting there the same person I asked gave multiple bottles of water to certain individuals , I was flabbergasted at that point but wait gets even better . I am exhausted at this point as I have walked miles in this airport with my wife and daughter . We get in the air and he gives me a small half cup of water , lol what a kind gesture . The cabin lights dim besides where the stewardesses are sitting , about 15 min goes by waiting for the plane to get dark so I can fall asleep but remember hungry and tired . I watch two of them start cooking ramen noodles , cup of noodles , chicken and sweet potatoes, make tea and drink multiple bottles of water mind you hungry , tired . I then watch then have a full blown conversation and eat right directly infront of me , no social distancing at all , concerned at this point hungry , tired , thirsty , gets better . Two more come up they start to eat no social distancing 4 people full blown conversation , lack of other people's space , inconsiderate, we ask them to quiet down alittle so they continue with no mind being very rude and unthoughtful of how much everyone went throught from the nasty floor, unconditioned area of the airport, to the vending machines that don't work, the flight delay moving my family three times , watching people eat with no consideration of others , no way to sleep cause 4 frontier stewardesses wanted to eat , discuss there issues, and carry on like we don't exist with the lights on the entire flight in the front of the plane , my entire Tuesday was wasted , now today not doing so well as you try and give us 50$ voucher ."

Cons: "I received at least 3 emails that that the flight was delayed: by 30min, 12min and then by 1min. Of course the mobile app did not reflect this (in an effort to make things more confusing). Once we boarded it was very very hot inside and the pilot informed us that we'll get cooled as soon as they start the engines."

Pros: "We never took the flight as we waited in the airport 2 hours from boarding scheduled for 8:00 p.m., as suggested, until after 2:00 in the morning, when we heard not from Frontier, but another passenger, that the flight was canceled. No flight was available until Christmas Eve, six days from the current flight, and so we spent considerably more money for all three of us to get home with another airline. I, nor any of the three of us, nor anyone we've told our story to, wishes to ever fly Frontier again. It is an event that will certainly impact our decision to fly Frontier again, without a doubt."

Cons: "Both planes (departure and returning) were old, dirty, and I have sat in more comfortable metal folding chairs than the chairs on these planes. Frontier charges for everything. They charge for seats that recline, charge outrageously for reclining seats with a ting bit more leg room, their beverage service is not free, only water is not charged. No snacks either. Luggage that is considered carry on at any other airline is charged at $60 at the gate and the flight attendants pander and really push passengers to apply for their credit card. Horrible all the way around and we will NEVER fly Frontier again. Ever."

Cons: "Never having flown with Frontier before, I had no reason to expect what happened. I found what I thought was a fairly good deal on Kayak to fly round-trip from ATL to DEN for a quick weekend with a friend. Little did l know, and certainly NOT because Kayak informed me during the booking process or anytime afterwards, that Frintier charges fees for *literally* everything. Want a soda...sure, pay $1.99. Want to choose a seat (not even a special one, just to know you won't be stuck in a middle seat)...sure, pay $13-$35 dollars per leg of trip. Want carry-on...sure, pay $40. For carry on. Really? So now my $261 deal has turned into a $367 dollar *ordeal*. Would have been better not using Kayak, and will definitely never fly Frontier again. Thanks for nothing."

Pros: "The pilot was nice and the plane was very clean."
Cons: "One flight attendant was yelling all over the plane instead of politely walking up to guests and informing them that the overhead baggage holders were full. Also, there seem to be a mix up with seating as before the plane doors closed, this same flight attendant allowed a guest to move to another seat, only for the ticket attendant to walk back on the plane and inform the flight attendant that she needed those seats. I usually fly with Delta, American Airlines, and in my 30 years of traveling have I not seen such unprofessionalism with regards to miscounted seats and the way the flight attendant handled those customers."

Pros: "I woke up to an email 31/2 hours before my daughters flight was suppose to leave Atlanta informing me that the flight was canceled. Called customer service where the man I spoke with was unable to or unwilling to tell me anything except that "yes it looks like the flight was canceled". His suggestion was to have my sister drive my daughter an hour and a half to the airport to see if there "might" be a flight available through another airline. Frontier did not have any flights going to or near RDU that day.Since my daughter had to be in Raliegh that day I spent the next 10 hours in the car going to get her. I did receive a refund but only because I requested one,otherwise they just don't refund automatically."
Cons: "Customer service represenitives are not very informative. The flights may be slightly cheaper but you have to pay for checked baggage as well as carry on bags. When checking her in the night before and picking a seat in coach my sister had to pay a "fee" for her seat, so an additional fee of $57 dollars for one bag and a seat.... Really?"

Cons: "Although there were warnings that "fees may be applied", I could not find how much those fees would be until 24 hours before my flight when I checked in. Before that, I had actively searched for how much I would be charged for my seat and my luggage both online and on the phone. No answers. I described this process to a lawyer who said there is possibility for a large class action lawsuit. I ended up having to pay $70 in fees (and will again on my flight back home -- probably -- again, there's no way for me to find out from Frontier until I check in). I don't mind fees, but they should be transparent. I will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "I will never fly this airline again! The tix appear significantly cheaper on kayak, so we drove 2 hours out of our way to ATL in the early morning hours thinking it was saving $$$. Only to find at check in that it cost more to bring a small carry on than to pay for it to be checked! It was a west coast flight and it didn't even include a beverage in flight!!! No snack either. Thumbs down. It was certainly NOT worth the inconvenience of driving out of the way, and we didn't save any $ after all. The staff was not that friendly, at it took 30 mins for the frontier baggage carousel to even start up to get the heck out of there. Never again. If it seems too good a deal, it is!"

I had a good seat (upgraded to the first three rows for extra expense). The monkey white wine was good and the flight attendant was witty and helpful. Thanks!"
Cons: "The only thing that caused me some concern was that the ATL gate on the printed ticket read 1 but the actual departure gate was 1A. At first I went to 1 and the flight information said Trenton and I didn't see the 1A or even go there to look. I found a helpful Delta service personnel who said, "Oh these people, they are never around to help the passengers. I'll help you. He went online at a kiosk in the general hallway and pulled up the flight as departing 1A. Sincere there was no way for me to know about this. I could have missed the flight. Either post someone to direct passengers OR put the correct information on the electronic ticket. Thanks."

Pros: "I was surprised that the flight was so pleasant. The ticket price was very good and even though I had to pay extra to select a seat, it was still a good deal. I didn't want to pay extra to bring a carry on so I packed minimally in a bag that I could fit under the seat as a personal bag. I paid for a drink, so cannot comment on the food. We left on time and arrived early. The desk crew and flight crew were polite. What was the entertainment...?"

Pros: "I didn't like too much to be honest.. the crew was friendly.. boarding was okay.. nothing is really standing out."
Cons: "Awful seats. They were WAY too small and I'm a small person (5'4ft 115lbs). They didn't even lean back and they were SUPER uncomfortable ... this airline is doing it ALL WRONG!!! The flight was only 3hrs long too.. and it left me with a very undesirable taste in my mouth.. the "complimentary" water didn't help.. they MADE me check my bag that would have clearly fit in the overhead compartment.. an extra $30 I wasn't expecting to pay.. the flight was so bad that I'm leaving the review.. I NEVER leave reviews.. so.. step up your game Frontier."

Pros: "Each frontier employee was kind and greeted me...usually with their name."
Cons: "I was in the middle seat and paid $6.00 to get a seat near the front of the plan as it is sometimes difficult for me to get to the back with all the pople and sounds as I have frequent vertigo. Right before take off I noticed several rows of seats completely empty and asked if I could move to one of those seats. Supprisingly I was tolld no. When I asked she said because people pay mor for those seats. For the comfort of the 2 other people and myself...I just thought it made since they were pretty much the same. These seats were not being utilized by anyone...no one had paid to sit there..not like Casper the friendly Ghost was on board and it would have made a more comfortable flight . Just found that a little peculiar. Some thing to think about if someone else ever asks????"

Cons: "I can tell from reading other reviews that I am not the only person who is extremely annoyed with Frontier charging customers for both checked luggage and carry-on luggage. Congratulations Frontier - you have found a very easy way to lose a large amount of business to your competitors. As I mentioned before, not only will I never use Frontier again in the future, but I will go out of my way to discourage friends and family from using Frontier."

Pros: "The boarding process was pretty fast."
Cons: "Talk about hidden fees! You have to pay to choose a seat and pay for a carry on. You're allowed a "personal item" that has to fit under the seat in front of you, but what they don't tell you is that the seats are "sardines in a can" seats only about half as deep as traditional seats (so that personal item has to be smaller than you'd think). So let's talk about these seats. They are literally an inch thick. Like I mentioned previously, the seat part is only about half as deep as normal seats. It ended at mid-thigh for me and I'm short (5'3"). Accordingly the tray tables are only a hand's width, put a drink on it and that's about it."

Pros: "I like that the plane didn't crash. Other than that Frontier's service, from paying for your carry on and beverages and the ticket agents to the flight attendants was, I imagine, worse than a greyhound bus ride. I was able to download the frontier app and get my boarding pass, and make the flight (drenched in sweat from running through the airport) as they were closing the boarding door. Thank god for cardio and determination."
Cons: "There were five ticket agents at the counter when I got to the counter (an hour before my flight). All five of them were helping one person and talking to each other for about 10 minutes. Then one split off to help the next person in line - or just to get a laugh by telling the couple they weren't make their flight and they weren't going to drop anymore bags to the plane because we were close to the 45 minute cutoff before the departure time. Perhaps if they had been working as a team rather than a gang the whole lot of us would have been checked in on time. When I got on the plane (after asking folks in security if I could get in front of them and running like a madman through the terminal) the flight attendant was the pinnacle of passive aggressive annoyance. This was my first and probably last ticket I buy flying frontier."

Cons: "The hidden charges are an embarrassing way to do business, The flight attendant was inconvenienced by her job, and comfort level was what I would imagine a prison bus must feel like. My return flight was canceled do to weather in Denver, I am fully aware that this is out of Frontier's hands however I commissioned Frontier to fly my wife and I to and from Atlanta; that was the Job I hired them for, to and from. They did not complete there task. They canceled the flight 10 minutes before boarding and didn't offer us a hotel. We got a hotel, a rental car, and made the 1400 mile trek. I would at least expect a full refund. After getting home and relaying our story to friends and family, not one person was shocked at this. Apparently it is common knowledge that Frontier is the world's worst air line. Well Now We know."

Cons: "I do not like that the website does not clearly state that a backpack is a personal item. But here is the con, they say pay now for the bag or pay more at the airport! So of course you pay. On my return and upon picking up my boarding ticket i asked about my backpack and she told me it was a personal item and that it is free. She handed me a ready made slip of paper to call for a refund and said she would make a note in the system to this effect. When i called for my $80 refund i was told well the note in the system only mentioned your return flight so we will only return for that flight. Ok..ok. You see where im going with this. This is a class action lawsuit in the making."

Pros: "Great for traveling short distances. Got in and out very quickly. Very smooth take off and landing on the way back. We also got to be seated in the emergency exits, so we had much more space."
Cons: "Very small and cramped seating. Not for someone who is bigger. You have to pay for everything, but you don't need anything if you're only flying an hour and half."

Pros: "nothing to like on a 14 hour mismanaged delay...We did get our luggage refunded. And $10 vouchers for food (not enough) and had to cue for these for a while..."
Cons: "after mechanical delay - they happen - not the issue... But, due to staff negligence on the DEN-ATL flight - my family and I had to suffer a stressful day, that could have been avoided. Issues: No proper updates on times. No one manning the Frontier counter at ATL from 4-4:30 pm - no assitance to get boarding pass to get in, now would the kiosk print it! Once there the lady was NOT helpful or empathetic. We had a tough time through security. Only due to another DELAY did we make this awful flight ATL -DEN. All the incompetence of a budget airline on full display. Get some better management in Atlanta!"

Cons: "A family of 4 with 2 small children sat behind my colleague and I on a 6:30am flight from ATL to LGA. There were 2 small children who disrupted my entire flight. Constant banging on the back of our chairs, slapping the trays up and down for 2 hours, slapping the plane windows, etc. After repeated efforts to ask the parents to have their children stop, the parents could care less about the disruptive behavior of their children. Complaints were made to the crew to no avail. The children were disrupting the entire 5 rows around them. These passengers should have paid for my and my colleagues flight, in addition to their flight, as they cause one of the worst experiences on a flight I've ever had. After this flight, I believe there should be a policy that if you have children on a plane, you should be required to pay more, allowing the people around you to pay less or opt out of having to be seated next to a passenger with a child."

Pros: "I have to admit, I liked the price. And now that I've flown the airline I understand why it has a low price. Which is okay, I saved enough money to cover my parking. I would say that 1st time customers might be unaccustomed to paying for your own beverages and snacks. The thing that struck me as odd was the staffs willingness even eagerness to have a confrontation with the quest. Like they took pride in putting passengers in their place for a few extra fee revenue dollars. The flight was okay, but Frontier airlines won't be my 1st choice next time."

By the time I paid $80.00 round trip for two I could have taken a more convenient flight for the same money without paying for my carry on. I went with Frontier because I thought I was getting a deal. I felt nickled and dimed, pay for soft drinks??????? But the worse was the delays, with no explanation at all!"

Pros: "I am handicapped and need a wheelchair to get to the gate. After I arrived at the gate and was ready to pre-board, Frontier sent another attendant to wheel me down the ramp which was fantastic since most times I have to drag and stumble my way down the ramp to board. When the plane arrived at Dulles, there was a wheelchair waiting for me at the door of the plane-a first in many flights. I am grateful for the Frontier staff's consideration and assistance."
Cons: "Having flown Frontier before, I was aware of the baggage charges, so I try to prepare accordingly (pay for all baggage online rather than at the gate). I am a bit perplexed, however, at the seat charge. I am handicapped and must sit in an aisle seat where I can stretch out my leg to some degree. I was told that because I am handicapped I do not have to pay for a special seat, but every time fly Frontier, I have had to pay to get an aisle seat. What do I have to do to get the necessary seating without charge other than sit wherever they place me and chance a circulatory episode?"

Pros: "The boarding was the best thing on the overall experience"
Cons: "The baggage cost was too high at $40.00, there was no complimentary drinks on this 4 hour flight, the seating and spacing was uncomfortable and menu cost was to high."

Cons: "After having our flight delayed for a total of 6 hours (each delay in increments of 30 minutes, ensuring that no one was able to leave the gate), we boarded and began down the runway only to be told that we must deplane due to a computer malfunction. Following this, our gate was changed and furthered delayed for an hour before being able to board a new plane. This would not have been such a negative experience if it had not been for the apathetic attitude of the staff working at not only the gate, but also at the customer service as well. After 3 of the half hour delays, if there would be any further delays of 30 minutes. The response of the worker at the gate was "would you like for it to be 30 more minutes" in an utterly derisive tone. Upon attempting to place a complaint about the staff at the customer service desk, I was instructed to call a 1-800 number to convey my complaints, again being dismissed. Lastly, every delay was accompanied by a different excuse ranging from "paperwork" to "security" to "weather" to "mechanical problems." This was by far the worst flying experience I have ever had, low prices are no excuse for poor customer service."
