Cons: "Boarding done against logic: my seat was in the last 5 rows of the cabin and I was scheduled to board in the final group. When I got to my seat the first 30 rows were nearly fully, but the back of the plane was half empty. The whole time the gate agent was urging passengers to move faster through the aisle, but Delta should really rethink its boarding strategy. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to board a 757."

Each passenger was given free headphones and complimentary beverages and snacks. I love Delta they are a cut above the rest. They are constantly striving to put the customers needs and wants top priority"

Whole thing was poorly executed. Would expect better from a large airline"

Cons: "Seats were comfortable, but much too crowded. The seating would have been very good for children but for adults it was much too crowded. My knees were up against the seat in front and my back is sore from having to spend most of the trip twisted to try to fit into the small space. Also, my seat was is row 16 and was called a “premium” seat and I was charged an extra $24 for it. I did not find it any different than all the seats around me. What was the extra charge for?"

It took,me some time to convince my fellow passengers that the loss of the APU was not a safety-of-flight issue. Also, a humongous passenger waddled down to our row and wedged herself into the window seat just before the doors closed. She immediately wanted to raise the seat divider, claiming that it was uncomfortable. The middle seat passenger insisted that she wanted to have it down, correctly pointing out that she had paid for a whole space. Despite the seat divider, the obese person's body oozed over and below into the middle seat during the flight, cramming the middle passenger. These folks Need to buy a second seat..."

Had to get off plane, then had to wait in 3 lines. Agents were so UNPROFESSIONAL! Kept saying flight would go... DID NOT go until another plane came in at 9:00 PM! We, needless to say missed our connecting flight to SYDNEY and had to wait til next day and fly to SAN FRANCISCO, then to MELBOURNE, then on to Christchurch. We MISSED out on TWO DAYS of our short trip! which included missed reservations!!"

Cons: "An extremely rude woman told me there was no space to place my bag in the overhead compartment and forced me to step aside and check my backpack. I didn't have a purse or any other item, just a backpack. I told them I had medication and they told me to just put it in my pockets. So I stashed my medicine in my pockets and had no room for my personal items or valuables. I had a hiking backpack with a water bottle in the side, and since they forced me to check the bag, my water bottle flew out of the pocket while it was being loaded onto the plane. Fortunately they at least tracked me down and brought my stainless steel water bottle to my seat. However, it wouldn't fit in the pocket in front of me and I had no other bag to store it in so I had to hold it and a few other belongings in my lap for the entire flight. I also had some other fragile items in my backpack that may or may not be okay. Also, when I boarded the plane, there was still space...there was no need to be so rude and force me to check a bag being used not only as my suitcase but as my purse as well. I'm so displeased with American, their staff, and their overall disorganization. How ridiculous."

Cons: "This trip was different except that I was disalpointed they didn't warn passengers about the whole island power outage until the plane was landing. No doubt this made a more convenient flight for them but I will always value a company that puts its customers first. The scene at the airport was very chaotic with reservations scrambled, bags missing and cars being rented by employees with flashlights."

Then I went to get something to eat to kill time just to find out they switched the gate causing me to have to run all the way to the new gate then they close the door as I was walking up and told me I missed my flight even though the plane was still there for another 15 minutes.. so I had to fly standby on the next flight which was another hour and a half later.. I arrived at the airport at 12:30 and didn't end up catching a flight until 7:45 p.m.... oh and I forgot to mention that I originally paid for an upgrade for priority seating with more legroom that I never received because they put me on the very last seat that you can't even replying because there is a wall behind you.. SMH"

I was told I could have a carry-on, but at the gate, I was told that all bags would need to be checked. My "carry-on," which met criteria, came back bent AF with items missing."

I do like to fly, but it seems to be increasingly difficult to adhere to the rules properly."
Cons: "I was in line to board with group 4 and the woman in front of me had a large duffle bag, a purse, and 3 small grocery bags. The gate agent let her through, but told her to consolidate her bags. I had one carry on and one purse and was forced to gate check my bag, only to find out I would have to go to baggage claim to pick it up. If the woman in front of me was forced to adhere to the rules, I would likely have fit my bag into an overhead. UNFAIR."

United really is the worst airline, and we will never fly with them again."

This means that they don't want to take complaints. Ps- there were 250 people in line...I counted 9 people calling customer service. I don't think any of them were success. -none of the kiosks were working at phx. I thought we were in the 21st century. -seats do not recline. Seats are uncomfortable. Food tray is tiny. And I do mean tiny. No water or soda or anything without paying for it. That's a bit unrealistic for a cross country flight. -Fees! For food, drinks, stowed baggage, carry-on baggage (what?), choosing a seat assignment (and I do mean any seat assignment ) -Frontier will never see this because they do not deal with complaints. Ps-I wasn't able to respond via Twitter. I didn't know if my cell phone was an issue or if Frontier blocked twitter feedback."

They changed the location of our baggage claim carousel with minimal notice, only to change it back to the original carousel with NO NOTICE. It took over an hour again for our luggage to come out and it trickled in so slowly, that I ended up getting my bag a full two and a half hours after we landed. Awful experience."

They make you pay for luggage, improved seat size, location, food and then ask you to tip your cranky flight attendant whom they seem to screen and select the most misanthropic applicants they can find. And then they try to sell you their credit card with a $69 annual fee. I watched and there where no takers."

There was a manager present who acted more like a monitor than a manager. eventhough I have a return ticket, I will not use it and prefer to purchase a ticket on another airline. You can keep the money. I wouldn't subject a mango dog to your airline and service."

They definitely respect the passenger and provide excellent pricing. I traveled without bags or personal item. I understood exactly what I was doing. Going to Vegas for 24 hours for next to nothing."

Pros: "Had traffic and was late getting to the airport. Check in let me skip line and take my bag straight to the gate. Airport personnel got me through pre check quickly and crew at the gate took my checked bag. Made the flight by 2 minutes - in Atlanta!!!"

Cons: "Weather problems first delayed the flight a couple of times and after a long long period of waiting in the airport it was cancelled. No control over the weather. However- with a only single Spirit representative person at at the counter helping all the others similarly affected- I waited about 2 hours in a very long line to have my flight rescheduled for 30 hours later. She was very professional. So, there was not enough staff to handle the problem and there were not enough planes or other flight options to handle the problem in a timely fashion. A 2 and 1/2 flight took me about 30 hours. Spirit works when it works... great for short flights, ususally! But it sure did not work for me this time and I will never fly Spirit if there is any time constraints or I can see any potential problems with getting to where I need to be in a timely and comfortable fashion."

The counter people were worthless, rude and could care less about anything. The flight was 2+ hours late because crew members were late. I will never fly Spirit again"

Cons: "Could not check my bags anywhere except the gate, and it cost more than the flight did, they would not accept cash from me to check my bags until a man had a hissy fit. I wasn't allowed to actually check my heavy bag, was made to carry it on, which was over whelming and hurt my back, really annoying and stressful. Felt ignored because I was a woman. Felt annoyed that they gave me a hard time about paying them cash. No where on the website does it say credit cards only. Also the seats were small and did not recline. On my return trip they changed the gate 2 mins before boarding and I had to run to catch the flight. I would not recommend."
Pros: "The flight was comfortable and enjoyable. We were late taking off and yet we arrived very close to our scheduled time. Baggage claim was very easy and quick. Enjoyed the friendliness of the crew."
Cons: "I had a very difficult time printing our boarding passes. I wasted 1 hr in front of a hotel computer trying to print the passes. Our password was never accepted. Alway "no match." Tried the only two passwords we use to no avail. I also called and paid for our baggage the night before our flight with a customer service rep, Carla, and when we got to the airport, the kiosk showed that we had not paid."
Pros: "The greeter was pleasant."
Cons: "The customer service skills, or lack of thereof by the agents, and particularly of the manager, Davell. I could not check in at the kiosk and had to see an agent, which took 45 minutes due to the lack of organization to tend to the people. Because of this wait I miss my flight. Everyone around me was upset about something regarding the airline. However, even though I had missed my flight already, it was my birthday trip and I was not going to allow anything to ruin it. I figured I could just get on the next flight which was a couple of hours later ( in my head this was possible). When I finally got to an agent she informed me that the next flight was at 8:00pm. I was not willing to wait, but kindly asked if there was a manager I could speak to. As a person with more than 10 years of customer service, and always finding a way to help people, I was hoping to catch a break. I saw the manager whom with zero empathy told me to get in line. Stating that "she was the manager and there was a line of people who all needed to speak with her". I did not like her response, but complied and got in line. After Ms. Davell "helped" one person she proceeded to go to the back. I assumed to a break room or her office. At this point I started documenting the chain of events because, I wanted to share my concern with the airline. Ms. Davell came back and talked to a customer on the side, (whom had not been waiting in line for over 40 minutes for the second time) I attempted to get her attention by saying (nearly shouting)"ma'am", but she kept walking as if she hadn't heard me. It was then that I asked another agent for the name of the manager, but when she said it I could not understand it, so I asked "how do you spell it?". This agent said, "I don't know". So I replied, "you don't know how to spell your manager's name?" she responded "no". Then I asked her for her name. She said "Alicia". I thanked her and I added her name to my documentation. Minutes later, Manager Davell came out again to "help" someone on the opposite side of the counter. I could not just stand there and wait anymore. So, I walked towards her, and after she "helped" that person. I expressed her my case, and without any kind of empathy or even falsely pretending to care, she said there was nothing she could do. She said the next available flight was the next day. Keep in mind that all this time Ms. Davell is looking at me straight in the face without even a fake smile , and with one eyebrow as high as her hairline. I was extremely disappointed for just the lack of customer service and very calm expressed it to her. I stated that as a manager, she was leaving me a lot to wish for. I added that I could not believe she was a manager. Her response, "ok" with the elevated eyebrow and an "I don't care" face. I then went to Delta and bought a one way ticket to Fort Lauderdale. Everything was completely different, and I regreted not booking my flight with Delta to begin with."
Pros: "The crew was nice. . If you are traveling extremely light (just a backpack or purse), Spirit is a good deal, but......"
Cons: "Travelers have to pay for water on the flight. Why not also charge a few bucks to use the bathroom while you're at it? The $55 for a carry on bag should be made more clear up front. Once you add in the a la carte costs, flying on Sprit costs the same"

I was able to rebook with Southwest at double the cost (and it wasn't even a direct flight). Spirit said the flight was cancelled due to weather but every other airline was still flying to Boston."

Cons: "The seating. This was the worst flying experience imaginable. I get that you're the cheapest airline and all but the little bit of money saved to have to sit in such an awe fully uncomfortable seat doesn't make it worth it. I will probably fly another airline next time just because of that"

And our connector flight spirit decided to cancel and could provide no explanation. On top of all that after we drove the rest of the way spirit lost my luggage."

Cons: "They refused to put me on a flight that would get me to my destination the same day. I was on a 5:30 pm flight and there were literally dozens of available flights. I finally got a refund on the Spirit flight and paid an exorbitant amount of money to purchase a last minute flight on a good airline. That new flight I bought had 21 people on board the flight but Spirit claimed there were no seats available. Good bye Spirit."

Cons: "The overall flight was fine; however they lost my one bag. I arrived three plus hours early and only had the one flight. How do you lose a bag when there is plenty of time to process & ni flight changes? They called last night to say bag finally arrived & that they would deliver today. Just called & delivery person comes in around 11am and will call to coordinate. I can't just sit around all day waiting. That is why I rated Spirit Poor - for lack of customer service."
