main courses of the primary meal were not good- the beef dish was really not good-
Service and the plane itself were terrific, but the extensive delays both before we left and after were a real pain.
It was good and there is nothing to complain about .
I have been flying with JAL a few times, crews service, food, overall comfort even with economy, I would rate it the top three airlines. None of any American carriers can provide such excellent service.
First time flying. Very comfortable, plenty of leg room in economy. The food was good, as well as the snacks. Quick flight back from Kansai to HNL.
I thought this was a JAL flight but landed up being a code sharing one with Hawaiian Air. Got upgraded by check in staff and they confirmed my bag coming from Bangkok which was great. Cabin crew was solid, not especially friendly, just super efficient and wanting to get the job done which they did. Very fast and agenda oriented. Worst part is my economy plus seat was no better than my economy seat on JAL. Plus JAL has way better food, cleaner plane, and better crew. Worst part is when I landed, was never told where to grab bags. I had correct flight name and number for JAL but there was a Hawaiian flight number in another baggage terminal. I wasted over an hour with no help from ground staff for my bag. Hawaiian and Alaska airlines merger can’t happen fast enough as Hawaiian airlines is a dinosaur. Bad experience again and I’m not surprised. JAL rocks!
The entree wasn’t very good. The rice was soggy. The side dishes were all good though. The breakfast was also good. The crew were excellent, as usual.
The flight attendants were excellent as usual however the meal wasn’t the usual good quality. There is cooked rice was mushy.
The seats are significantly more comfortable than US airlines and the staff are much friendlier. The food is also much better, as they are particularly accommodating to any dietary restrictions.
Service is excellent - crew all so respectful and friendly. Airline comfortable - lots of legroom even in economy. Food was great even came with ice cream!
Great staff. Clean plane, but we were delayed for more than an hour due to maintenance issues and had to board another plane.
Overall a good experience, but no wifi available for free or for purchase and we got wet from condensation or other water source during descent.
It was a more comfortable seat don't get stuck in middle, makes for uncomfortable situation
So bad, flight was been cancelled due to aircraft problem, so ended up buying anothet ticket.
I’m so sorry, I can’t remember her name, I believe it was Dimpti. She was stellar, also a mature Asian flight attendant, lots of flowers in her hair, just as amazing! But literally the crew was AWESOME . Only downside is there weren’t any charging outlets. Maybe I needed to ask a flight attendant , but it would’ve been nice to have one easily accessible.
Boarding seemed to be organized bedlam. For what ever reason, preboarding took longer than 20 minutes. Made the plane 20 minutes late taking off. Luckily we arrived on time. Flight crew seemed very friendly. Only slight turbulence.
The personnel were professional and friendly. The Boeing 737 Max 9 is too claustrophobic and was very warm at both airport gates, and still warm in the air.
The design of the light switch on the arm rest is ridiculous.
Well, this is my second flight from THE first one that I took and this one was from Manila to Guam. The flight was comfortable. I did end up in first class. However, I had to fight for it a little bit, but when I went to Guam, I had to stay an extra night there, which was accommodated by united Which I'm pleased for that. The only thing that I have to say is when a situation happens with a cancelation. And you got first class guests very important that you accommodate and make sure that they have their flights before everybody else does, because we pay big money for the service and it is not cheap also. Take note There are things that we have planned as well. So this kind of damaged the tail end of my vacation, which I lost out in $2500 worth of car rentals hotel fair in Honolulu, Hawaii. I'm really hoping that I can be reimbursed at least that money from the insurance that I have on the trip through united. I will be submitting that in as well. When I'm back in the United States, because I'm currently in Guam. Staying good night. I'm waiting for my next flight out. For tomorrow morning..
Had a hard time finding my assigned seat. No attendants to assist.
We missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt do to security and all hell ensued then.we got rebooked to Washington got there round 10 am ish didn't find out till 630 we were rerouted to United!! Then we started getting updates
Movie selection was nice and chicken with rice dinner was good. I did not like the pizza thing they served for breakfast/lunch. It was like a hot pocket but mostly bread. A small sandwich or cheese and cracker snack and fruit etc would have been much better. Also they did not announce trash pick up so a lot of trash was left by everyone when departing.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!
Paid $35 for wifi but wifi didn’t work. Stressful dealing with work mess and no service. Otherwise normal

Poor, we had 1 hour to grab our checked luggage, go through customs, recheck bags and run across terminals to make our United flight. Poorly planned connections.
Efficient boarding. Good flight but seats were quite uncomfortable considering we'd already been sitting on two flights, total 13 hours or so. Would have liked to have prices on the menu of amenities on the plane. We could have used more water. Restrooms and nonalcoholic beverages at no extra cost, not much else. I realize these were discount tickets, and the airline has to break even, so I can't say we were expecting amenities to be plentiful. Still, it's nice with long flights to discover a few. Very pleasant crew though.
Staff didn’t care in business class. Closed the door on my mom while she was on the jetbridge and flight attendant told me she would make it from the connecting flight. They lied. My luggage was damaged on arrival. No success in filing damage claim.
