Then after waiting 60 minutes in line at the Aer Lingus counter we were told we were 15 minutes past the boarding closing time. So even though we were still an hour before our flight we couldn't get a boarding pass to get on the plane. We then had to pay $150 x 3 to get on the same flight the next day. We will never fly Aer Lingus again and will never fly through Dublin again."

Staring with being asked to pay $39 if I wanted to preselect my seat. My friend and I chose the free option of selecting our seats 24 hours before the flight--her luggage didnt even make in on the plane! It was finally delivered at 2:00 AM the next morning; well past the 8:00 PM promised delivery, which caused us to lose an entire eveing in Paris. On the return flight, home, she was told there wasn't even a seat for her on the plane. I failed to add that after booking and paying for her flight, they cancelled and deleted the SFO to London leg of the flight without so much as notifying her via email, phone, or text. Mind you, the London to Paris leg was not cancelled. Had we not tried to pre-book our seats, she would never have known they had cancelled her flight. What impacted her, impacted me, so needless to say, neither of us will ever fly BA again! BTW, their online customer service representatives were very nasty to deal with."

We had to wait in another line before finally getting the go ahead to go to customs. For the amount of money I paid, I thought a snack would have been provided."

We also hit some turbulence but that might be standard fare for the route."

AND at boarding there was one girl who insisted on keeping the "premier travelers" separate from the rest, but we all got on the same bus - so it was stupid and a waste of time very disappointed indeed. used to travel annually Boston to Glasgow via Icelandair, - remember why I stopped using this Airline. extremely poor customer service"

Originating 10hr flight from Los Angeles to London was also uncomfortable, with small, packed coach seats, no air nozzles and poor headset connectors. I was very happy to get back on American Airlines for my return to Los Angeles. Wouldn't use BA again."

I also flew BA from London to Seattle (part of same trip) and the on-board meal & drink service was PHENOMENAL - the best I have had on an airline in years, and I did not get charged for anything, including alcoholic beverages. How can this be the same airline?"

Cons: "I would avoid flying into Newark internationally if I have the option next time. Besides from the obvious that the airport is outdated, it is totally understaffed. There were about a staff of four directing international travelers at Passport Control and they were impolite which created a stressful and unwelcoming experience. The second issue I experienced was at baggage claim. Due to some issue I didn’t personally experienced, non-US passport holders experienced major delays entering the country. This resulted in hundreds of luggage that were left unclaimed from a previous flight still on the carousel. There was only two airport staff at this area so people from the BA flight had to take these the bags off the carousel inorder to make space for our flights bags to fit. It’s was totally chaotic and easily avoidable if there were more airport staff managing this area. This international airport is a national embarrassment, and if you’re a foreign traveler, I would highly discourage you from flying into Newark."

Cons: "At the airport, we were told that we did not have seats together as te flight was oversold. Strange as we had a six year old traveling with us. After much discussion, they gave two seats in the economy plus for me and the child but down graded child's mom to economy. We were told that someone from BA will contact us but it has been 10 days and no call or email. BA doesn't care and is just like all other airlines."

Pros: "All was fine ......cabin crew, pilot updates, seat comfort . Keeping hydrated is a well-known health fact. Why BA does not offer free water wa a shock to me . Yes a kind steward let me supplied with tap water, but I find it appalling that the corporate office does. It consider customers health important."

Entertainment choices dated and uninteresting. Luggage lost, with one agent available to slowly help more than 30 people. Luggage missing for over 24 hours. No response from airline. Enough."

Cons: "Ancient plane. Worn and uncomfortable business class seats. iPad for entertainment was a joke - you balance it on the skeletal remains of what had been the video monitor. Cabin crew literally disappeared after "meal" service. I had to "disturb" them from under blankets playing Candy Crush to get a drink during this 7 1/2 hour flight. I usually fly Virgin, but for some reason this was cheaper this time - I will never fly BA/Open Skies again."

American Airlines was terrible! Not even an entertainment center on an international flight (OLD PLANE THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE!). We will NEVER use KAYAK again."

When we arrived, the check-in agent volunteered to switch us to an earlier flight so we could make our connection without a hitch. The plane was clean, the flight smooth, and the staff was friendly."

They sell you a ticket then try to swindle more money out of you to request your seat. Total BS move. When I complained about it they gave me some canned response about how its better customer services stating that some customers prefer to pay to request their seat. Are you kidding me? Why not just state you're selling window seats for more money instead of trying to play your customers for idiots. Only makes me want to never fly your airline again."

Iberia charged my credit card 55.00 for the service and then, without my knowledge Iberia changed my seats and denied charging me extra. I have papers to prove my claim and will dispute the charges with my credit card company. The communication between flight attendants and passengers was horrible. Those of us who had not eaten yet (about half the plane in economy seating) watched the flight attendants bring out extra bread to all of the other economy passengers who had already received their meals, while we, who had not eaten yet, watched. My husband inquired if we were also receiving meals. He was told that everyone would eventually receive a meal. Horrible customer service, the worst ever. Later, before landing the pilot cancelled beverage and snack service because of possible weather conditions but never put the seat belt sign on until we began our decent. Nothing made any sense. It was like a crazy person was in charge. I would not trust Iberia to take me anywhere in the future."
